Leo grew up convinced he was made to be a bad person. A murderer above all
due to showing the classic first sign of killing animals and being the cause of his mother’s death. The moment he found out of his mother’s death, he could never meet the eyes of his family for a long time. However, once he found out he was a vampire things settled over quite well or at least well enough.
Plus, it wasn’t like he was the only odd one of the family as his sister was a Nilto.
Still, deep down, Leo felt slightly out of place in the loving family. A compassionate family had a monster lurking about their home that needed blood for energy.
He didn’t wish to damage their reputation and so was out often, partaking in extremist or adrenaline type activities. Whenever they wanted him though, or needed him, he was there.
Only when he was requested for the Light Ritual did he sense new purpose
