|| 17 || Female || Faye, Ryn, Greyson ||
General Appearance
Faye stands at only about 5' and weighs a mere 100 pounds. She has a athletic build with a good amount of muscle in proportion to her height and weight. Faye had a small pointed nose which is the one thing she got from her mother that she is thankful for. Her neck is a bit too long for her body, but Faye tries not to show how insecure she is about that.
Faye's hair is very long and her father continues to tell her that she needs to get it cut. It is a deep brown color that has a reddish tint which shows in the sunlight. Her eyes are the same color as her hair; however, the amber color is more prominent than it is in her hair. Faye's skin is naturally a very light tan that does not usually go darker than a medium tan, but can become very light if she is out of the sun for too long. She has a natural pink blush on her cheeks that does not show if her skin gets tan enough.
Faye has a birthmark at the nape of her neck that she thinks looks like a cat, but to most other people it just looks like a brown blob. It used to be very dark and noticeable when she was younger, but it has faded since then.
Other
Faye has a scar that runs from her right shoulder down to her elbow. She received this while living for a short period of time in Morick City [see History].
Normal Attire
Faye generally wears clothing that she finds comfortable, but she also has a sense of style. She mostly enjoys clothing that looks a bit too big on her because she finds it the most comfortable. She is on the beach a lot life guarding and teaching swim lessons which means that she can be caught wearing a swim suit a good amount of the time. However, she normally covers her suit up with a sweater and shorts [example]. When she is not wearing a swim suit, she is usually wearing a pair of shorts and a draped shirt with a big necklace [example, example]. Faye usually wears her hair up in a ponytail because of how long it is, but she likes to keep it down whenever she can.
Faye greatly enjoys the colder parts of the year when she can wear sweaters, sweatshirts, and scarves. During the fall months and when she travels to colder regions, she normally wears jeans and sweaters that are a bit too big on her [example, example]. Her favorite article of clothing when she is traveling or when she just feels too lazy to get dressed up is her black sweatshirt.
Faye also enjoys wearing long necklaces and bracelets and she is constantly buying different accessories. The only accessory that she keeps on her at all times is a necklace that has been passed down through the generations of female Greysons. Her grandmother gave it to her when she was only two years old.

Personality
Faye is a very passive, laid back person. She has many small personality traits about her; however, she resents being overly emotional and prefers to keep too much expression off her features. Generally, Faye can be described as the strong, silent type except for when she is angry. She is the type of girl that keeps quiet when she is uninterested or when her opinion is unneeded; however, her voice is commanding enough so that when she wants to be heard, she will not be interrupted.
Faye is very easily frustrated; however, she often refuses to show this. Some who are close to her like her father can tell when she is irritated by slight changes in her facial features; however, it is unlikely that other people would realize this. It is not until her frustration escalates to anger that this emotion will be known by everyone. The downside to her bottled-up emotions is that she will sometimes burst at the seams and hurt everyone around her - emotionally, physically, or both.
Although Faye may be a brick wall in the sense of showing emotions, she is fiercely loyal to anyone whom she feels deserves it. Loyalty is one of Faye’s highest ranked values and her loyalty to others goes above everything else. If someone is on her good side, she will stick with that person until her dying day. It takes a lot to break her loyalty and it seldom happens. This can sometimes turn out to be a bad thing when Faye allies herself with the wrong people and then feels that she must stay loyal to them, but she is normally a good judge of character.
Faye is often seen as an uninterested slacker. Faye’s expression is often one of boredom and uncaring. She does not participate in conversations that she is uninterested in or feels that she has nothing to add to. Although Faye is extremely smart -both book and street- she will seldom speak her thoughts unless the topic is important to her. This is why many feel that Faye is a slacker and that her intelligence is wasted on her.
As for humor, Faye has a bitterly sarcastic sense of humor which is used as a sort of defense mechanism. She normally uses it when she is afraid that she is showing too much emotion. This is why her sarcastic humor often comes out at the most inappropriate times. In reality, she is just too scared that she will show too much.
Feelings About Their Journey
Faye shares the same sentiment as a majority of the people of Shannia. And that is confusion. Why was she, a brand new trainer, chosen over many other excellent trainers? It didn't make sense when she first found out that she was chosen and it still doesn't make sense to her now. Faye knows that she has the potential to become a great trainer, but she also knows that she is far from that prospect.
Faye is not too concerned about leaving home. She has travelled enough with her father to know how to take care of herself. She knows that her father will miss her and will be extremely worried, but he will live without her. She plans on calling him whenever she gets the chance, just to make sure that he knows she is alright. Faye is a bit worried about leaving Joanna, her best friend. Joanna's mother is very ill and doctors have said that she could pass away soon. Faye does not want to be leaving her best friend to grieve alone. However, Joanna has told Faye a hundred times that she has to go and that she will call if anything happens. Still, Faye cannot shake the feeling that she is doing something wrong.
Faye's major concern is the fact that she will be traveling with five strangers and their Pokemon that she knows next to nothing about. She can barely even get their names straight and now she is going on a lengthy journey with them. The only saving grace for her is that they will all be new trainers as well.
History
Faye was born in Lilli City, Shannia with her father and a mother who was uninterested in having a child. At the age of four, Faye’'s father was forced to move for a short period of time. Faye went with him, but her mother made some lousy excuse for staying behind. They had little communication with Faye’s mother from that point on. A year later, Faye and her father moved back home to find that her mother was not there anymore. Apparently, she had been lying to them when they spoke over the phone. She had left only two months after Faye and her father moved. Faye was surprised but not necessarily heartbroken. She had never liked her mother much, but she had never expected her to be so cruel to her poor 5-year-old daughter. This was the beginning of trust issues as well as her stony exterior. She knew that her father was busy trying to make ends meet, so she kept in her anger and her need to scream whenever she saw something that reminded her of her mother. She did not want her father to have anything more to worry about other than what he absolutely had to. Without a mother figure, Faye grew up loving her father and looking up to him more than anyone else. He was a researcher of Pokemon.. Faye didn't truly want to go into to the business her father dealt with, but she looked up to him for everything and his love of Pokemon made her want to become a trainer.
Faye and her father moved a lot and her father traveled even more, regretfully leaving young Faye in whatever city or town they were currently staying in. At the young age of ten, Faye slipped into a depression. She was lonely and sick of moving. Faye had no trouble making friends, but she was unable to keep them due to the fact that her and her father moved anywhere from every few months to every year. She kept her depression from her father, but he could see that she was unhappy. He wanted to find a way to settle down in a single city or town to make her happy, but the research he did required them to move around constantly. He was greatly considering getting Faye a Pokemon of her own when she was brought out of her depression suddenly.
Oddly enough, the thing that brought Faye back from the depression was the return of her mother. Somehow, when Faye was eleven, her mother found the city that Faye and her father were staying at the time. She came to their door and from her bedroom upstairs -which seemed to be the place she spent most of her time- Faye heard her mother’s voice. She knew the voice immediately from the last time she heard ever heard it at the age of five. Faye listened carefully to the words that her mother spoke and deducted that she had simply come to beg Faye's father for money. Faye's father being the kindest man anyone had ever known, invited her in. As she heard her mother's conniving, begging tone, she instantly snapped out of her depression and became furious. She stormed down the stairs and was met by her father's surprised expression and her mother angrily squinting at her. After a short exchange where Faye yelled obscenities at her mother and Faye's mother attempting to act innocent, her mother finally snapped. She lashed out at Faye verbally, belittling her and telling Faye what a sad excuse for a daughter she was.. After only moments of with one-sided argument, Faye’s father stepped in with the most angry expression that Faye had ever seen on his face. Her father told Faye’s mother to leave the house immediately. His words were calm and his expression collected, but there was an edge to them that made a shiver run down Faye's spine. With a huff, Faye's mother left, never to be seen again. Seeing her father standing up for her like that, Faye broke down in tears of sheer joy and realization of how much her father loved her. After this, Faye’s depression seemed to lift and she accepted the fact that they had to move a lot for her father’s work..
Although Faye’s depression was no more, her father was still adamant on finding a more permanent home for them and he continued to search for a job that was a bit more steady. When Faye was 15, they moved to Morick City for a short period of time. Faye's father worried constantly about his young daughter being in the crime capital of Shannia and he was quick in his work there. They only stayed for about a month; however, a month was all it took for Faye to get into trouble. She had gotten into an argument with a man twice her size and he had sliced her arm from her shoulder to her elbow. The man was sent to jail and Faye was alright, but she had to watch her father nearly have a mental breakdown when she was released from the hospital.
That same year, Faye's father finally got a new job for Faye's sake and for the sake of his own mental sanity. They finally settled down in Ram’s Town where Faye’s father works at studying Pokemon behaviors. He continues to travel and sometimes brings Faye along with him on trips, but they no longer have to move from place to place. On a recent trip to Orrene City is where Faye met Eona [see Eona’s history]. Before she found out that she was going on a journey, Faye was considering catching a second Pokemon. However, her plans have changed and she has now traveled with her father to Orrene City once more to begin her journey with five other people.

Eona
Species- Eevee
Gender- ♀ Female
Ability- Adaptability
Held Item- Razor Fang; worn as a necklace. It occasionally causes her foe to flinch.
Nature
Quirky
Eona is a loveable ball of fur. She always seems to be hopping around or messing with other Pokemon. She generally has a big smirk on her face and a mischievous look in her eyes. Eona is easily scared, but she is also very brave when facing her fears. She tries to work her hardest not only for Faye, but also to show everyone that she is not just a cute, happy-go lucky Pokemon.
Despite her normally happy, playful nature, Eona is not quick to trust. After being neglected by her family for so long, her heart has been hardened. She is constantly smiling with everyone she meets, but there are few people and even fewer Pokemon that she trusts fully.
Eona loves her trainer to her fullest and trusts Faye completely. She whole-heartedly believes that Faye is the single greatest trainer there is. Whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but Eona will believe that until the day she dies. As many Pokemon, Eona is willing to protect Faye with her life -although it is debatable how much she would actually be able to protect her trainer in the face of danger.
Having a bit of an adventurous side, Eona seems to be excited for the journey ahead. She is not excited to be spending so much time with people and Pokemon that she does not trust, but she is ready to see new places and learn new things.
History
Originally from a colder region, Eona was born into a litter where she was a runt and an outcast. She was smaller than the average Eevee and a light grey color to her family’s typical brown. She was not given a name by her family because they believed that she would never be strong enough to fend for herself.
When winter came and it was time for all the Eevee to hunker down, Eona was abandon in the cold to fend for herself. Her family had gone to find somewhere warm to hibernate and she was no longer allowed to be a part of them. So, with a heavy heart, she set off to find a new home. Her grey fur enabled her to be able to blend into the snow rather well and she was eventually able to make it to a town where she was fed and housed by a loving elderly couple.
Eona lived happily for about a year until she was run out when the town in which she was living was destroyed by a fire. She escaped and traveled a long way into the Shannia region. There, she continued traveling south until she reached Orrene City where a young girl, Faye, had just was out looking for her first Pokemon.
Eona has recently suffered an attack from a Rattata and weak and beaten when Faye found her. Faye took her to the Pokecenter and cared for her for weeks while Eona healed. Although, by this time Eona had trust and commitment issues, she could not help herself from getting attached to the girl whose mother had also left her behind at a young age. Faye spent a month trying to pick out a name for the Eevee, hoping that she would decide to stay. She finally decided on Eona and, feeling such a deep connection, Eona decided to become Faye’s first Pokemon without any questions. Eona and Faye formed a fantastic bound which can never and will never be broken. Neither Faye nor Eona are really sure what Eona should be evolved into, but they are both sure that they will know when the time comes.
Eona has only once been put into her Pokeball -when she was first caught. Due to Eona being smaller than the average Eevee, she can often ride on Faye’s shoulder or head and sometimes sleeps on her chest or stomach.
