General Appearance
Reagan is of a rather average height for her age, reaching about 5’6’’ from head to toe. Her build is lean and wiry, though she still sustains a good amount of girlish curve to her body. Her hair reaches just below her waist and is a midnight black color. Her eyes are a silverish-stormy gray that many have said are easy to get lost in.
Rea has a cutesy face that almost always has a blush sprinkled about her cheeks. Although she may seem petite and innocent in many ways, Rea is a lot more powerful than many think. She grew up working long hours on her mom’s Pokémon ranch, which built up a fair amount of lean muscle. She’s quick on her feet and strong enough to wrestle an angry Manectric to the ground.
Other
One her left hand, directly across from her thumb, is a large bite scar. She gained this scar during a tussle with an angry pokemon.
Normal Attire
Because of Reagan’s first occupation, working on her mother’s farm, most of her clothing is comfortable and easy to work around in. She enjoys wearing jeans and jean shorts, but almost every single one of her pairs are torn in some way, shape, or form.[Example,Example]
Rea usually has her hair down, much to her mother’s dislike, but she will occasionally tie it into a braid.
Reagan likes to wear button down shirts because they are loose and usually durable enough. [Example] She likes to wear sneakers and has a nice pair of black working boots. [Example, Example].
Rea has never been one to spend money on anything regarding her appearance, including makeup, clothes and fancy jewelry. But Rea can always be seen wearing a necklace with what looks like a small wooden carving of a dog, but if you were to inspect it farther, you would see the ridges and small tail that makes up a Houndour.

~Singing~
Rea has a graceful singing voice. Sometimes she can’t help but sing a little song while working or playing a song.

Personality
Rea is the kind of person who’s personality changes depending on different internal and external factors, like where she is, who’s she’s with, or just how she’s feeling in general.
First thing to know is she is extremely shy. One cannot stress this enough. Meeting new people is usually something very frightening to her. Rea thinks she suffers from some form of anxiety, but her mother just says she just needs to be around people more. Rea is easily startled and hates anything remotely scary, such as spiders, dark and eerie places, and monstrous pokemon. When frightened or startled, Rea usually crouches on the ground, covering her head with her arms and cries while mumbling to herself. She can even faint or get light-headed if things get that bad.
Another important thing to know is that Rea doesn’t usually trust men. She has always had this bent opinion of them, and the only real guy Rea knew growing up was her brother, and her brother didn't exactly set a very good example. He was rude, gross and rough with Rea, so she seemed to develop her own stereotype of them. She may look down upon males or put as much distance between them as possible without making the situation more awkward than it may already be.
Doing anything publicly scares the living daylights out of Rea. From having to speak in public to performing any form of song in front of her family, she freaks out. It can sometimes be literally one step away from breaking down. When speaking to others, she’s always stumbling over her words and blushing, usually for no apparent reason. Rea is also a bit of a cry-baby. Things like getting scolded or yelled at can make her burst into tears. One thing that would definitely make her cry is mentioning her father. Her father's death has been, and always will be, a touchy subject for Rea. Hearing someone say "father" makes her want to sit somewhere alone and just cry.
Although Rea may seem like a bit of an airhead, her heart has always been in the right place. She’s innocent and naïve of a lot of things going on around her, but she sees evil in no one. She thinks that deep inside anyone and everyone there is good.
Rea has no street smarts whatsoever. She's actually only been to Orrene a few times in her life, and she didn't like it. The air smelled weird and it was too crowded. But if you were to stick Rea in the woods with meager supplies, she would do just fine. Rea learned how to survive in the wilderness and used to play in the woods quite often as a child. She loves climbing trees, sitting on a high branch and pretending that she could see the entire world from her perch. Many may notice how much more comfortable Rea is in the woods. In the city, she is always tense and jumpier than usual, which is really saying something. In the woods, she simply seems at peace. Her attitude shifts, and she is usually more assertive and daring, some say she might even become a bit more bashful.
If you get the chance to get closer to Rea, you might notice her change. When being able to speak freely, she can have a bit of a snippy attitude and a ridiculous sense of humor. Her energy is endless, and she never seems to sit still. Unfortunately, not many people get to know Rea very well. Ever since she shut everyone out, she spoke to no one but her family. Not to mention her shyness gets in the way of things. Hopefully she will gain some friends on this journey.
Feelings About Their Journey
Rea, in short, is utterly terrified. She has to go on some obscure, cross-country journey with complete strangers. She gets scared taking out the trash at night. One cannot imagine the frightened thoughts going through her frail mind. She’s confused and frightened, which is not a good thing. Rea, more than anything, wants to ditch the trip. But her brother, who had read a lot about the tablet and the prophecy that was on it, would not let her stay home.
But, from what she can tell, Rea knows she has to leave. She has to go on this journey and help these people. Rea, even though not understanding the purpose of the mission completely, knows that there is a certain importance to this.
History
Reagan Chase Maverik was born on Maverik Ranch, which is located between Orrene City and Woodfield. She was the second baby in the family, after Donovan, who was four years old at Rea’s birth. Rea was a weak, sickly baby, and the doctors thought she wouldn’t make it past four months. But, despite what the doctors said, Rea grew stronger and kept on living. She was then deemed “mama’s little fighter.”
Years passed and Rea grew up on the ranch with her family. The ranch trained and bred pokemon for trainers, so Rea grew up with pokemon constantly by her side. She learned how to control them and learned a lot about how to treat things such as common illnesses and status conditions.
Rea and her brother Dom usually got along well, but there was always that sibling rivalry involved. It seemed the Rea got more attention from their parents than Dom, and he didn’t like that very much. He was always trying to get his little sister in trouble, but usually never succeeded. Rea was always rather clever, plus it wasn’t the difficult to point out Dom’s amateur schemes. Things were calm and peaceful for the most part, until Rea turned six.
On Rea’s sixth birthday, it was announced that her mother was having another baby. And a few months later there was baby Alex, with dark hair like her mother’s and sister’s. Alex and Rea quickly grew close, and spent a lot of time together.
Years passed, and nothing extremely eventful happened for a long time. The ranch was thriving and everyone was happy. Not too long after Rea turned 14, her parents’ pokemon had a litter of Houndour and each of the children were given a pokemon of their own. Rea and her Houndour, Cerberus, grew very close.
Once again, another period of peace passed through. But the peace did not last very long. Only a few months after the children were given their pokemon, everything changed. One day, Rea’s father collapsed on his way to the barn. Rea found him and immediately called for help from her brother and mother. He was taken inside, but he was in bad shape. He had a massive headache, couldn’t speak very well, and couldn’t move his arms and legs. Rea’s mother called for a doctor in town, but it was too late. He had been lying in the field for at least an hour, unable to stand or move. Her father slowly faded away, his family huddled around him. The doctor arrived a few hours later. It was discovered that he had a fatal stroke.
Everyone was devastated, for they had been such a close-knit family. Rea herself seemed to shut down completely and spiraled into a deep depression. She rarely left her room and ignored everything anyone tried to say to her. She completely disregarded Cerberus and her responsibilities as a trainer. But a certain event that put Cerberus in danger jolted Rea out of her sadness. [See Cerberus’ history.]
Rea realized she needed to look at things differently. Just because her father was gone, didn’t mean it was the end of the world. She would get through this, along with her family. She made sure to put more time and energy into everything she did, and needed to make it up to Cerberus. Her little plans had been interrupted as soon as she found out she was part of a prophecy of some sort. So now she had to travel to Orrene City to meet the others who she would be journeying with.

Held Item- A Focus Sash which is tied around his left back paw.
Nature
Adamant
Cerberus is Rea’s closest friend. Rea has known him since birth, and will always love him.
Cerberus is quiet and usually keeps to himself. He can be described as cold when it comes to caring about others. Except for his trainer. To Cerberus, Rea is everything. He can be very over-protective of her, and makes sure strangers keep their distance.
Rea sometimes speaks to Cerberus like a human, and he understands. He can tell when his trainer is sad or mad or happy, and knows how to act. Cerberus likes to walk alongside his trainer, and usually refuses to go into his pokeball. He believes that it is his duty to protect his trainer.
To strangers, Cerberus can be very hostile. He has to make sure that strangers do not wish to hurt his trainer, but after he has deemed someone safe, he changes back to a very docile pokemon. Above all else, Cerberus is stubborn. If he knows his way is right, he’ll stick to it to the bitter end.
History
Cerberus was the offspring of Rea’s father’s Manectric and Rea’s mother’s Houndoom. At birth, Cerberus was just a normal little houndour in a litter of three. He was the middle born, in between his large older brother and tiny little sister. As soon as the trio was old enough, they were each given to one of Rea’s siblings. Her younger sister naturally wanted the cute little one and her older brother obviously wanted the large, powerful looking one. So Rea, being the middle child, got what was left. Her father was the one who gave Cerberus his name, and told Rea that a name like that could onto be given to a strong, brave being. So Rea kept the name.
As the weeks went by and the three kids trained with their pokemon, Rea noticed something different about Cerberus. He wasn’t affected by any of the other houndour’s fire attacks. It was then that Rea realized that Cerberus had a rather rare Ability. What also struck Rea as odd was the fact that Cerberus could even produce electricity and immense flames from his mouth. When Rea asked her mother how this was possible, she told her that it was because of who his parents were. Because his parents knew those moves, he had inherited them. This was also why her brother’s houndour could use Fire Fang already.
Rea and Cerberus grew closer and closer by the day, and Cerberus knew that Rea was no normal trainer. She was rather different from Rea’s siblings, who usually shouted at his brother and sister for not doing things right. Rea was always quiet and kind, and never shouted as Cerberus. She let him sleep with her and fed him scraps from the table after dinner. He also quickly discovered that Rea seemed to be scared of everything. He knew his trainer was not as strong as he was, so he made it his own personal goal to protect her.
Then, one day, something happened. Rea’s father had disappeared somewhere, and Cerberus didn’t know where. But Rea changed. She never left her room, and when she did, she didn’t play of train with Cerberus. He did his best to comfort her, but she pushed him, along with her family, away. One day, out of carelessness, Rea forget to let Cerberus back into the house. It rained badly overnight. When Rea realized that her pokemon wasn’t in her room, she went searching for him. She found him huddled under a tree, shivering, soaking wet and with a fever. Rea rushed him to her mother, but she said that they didn’t have medicine strong enough to cure him. Rea, without even hesitating or asking, wrapped Cerberus in a blanket, grabbed her mother’s Rapidash and just left with the little dog pokemon huddled in her arms. She and Blitz, her mother’s Rapidash, ran all the way to the nearest city where there was a pokemon center. Luckily, Rea had made it just in time and Cerberus recovered. Cerberus almost died because of Rea’s carelessness, and she wasn’t going to let that happen ever again.
It was then Cerberus noted another change in his trainer. She wasn’t sad or ignoring him anymore; in fact she seemed happier and more energetic. They trained every day since then, and Cerberus has grown stronger and stronger.
