Alair shrugged. "It's no big deal. I've been cold my entire life. Trust me when I say I'm very used to it." He ordered another hot toddy. It was amazing eh was drunk yet, considering how he was downing these things.

Alair frowned thoughtfully. "Not terribly old. Barely old enough to be out on my own like this to be honest. Though I hate to admit it." He said with a grin. "I've been an audlt for osme time, but being here, away from the family. It brings home how young I really am." He admitted quietly. "How very young."

Alair laughed. "I lived on airships for a while as a scouter. They tend to force you to act mature. Trust me, I've seen enough battles, I have to!" He grinned slightly and shook his head. "I still ilke a lot of the kid games though. I won't deny it!"

Alair shrugged. "I'm around 1,000. I'm not actually sure." He admitted sheepishly. "I sort of lsot count awhile back. Mostly my family remidns me of how old I am. Personally, we all think it's a miracle I've lived so long!"

Alair frowned at her abrupt departure. How odd! Oh well, she had been fun to talk to, and now someone might be able to help him out. Though he had heard that line before, often enough. The man smiled slightly and shook his head relaxing with his drink. Hm. Soemone else to talk to...

Alair rubbed his arms, drressed in his armor. He had wanted to get farther away rom Wing City before donning it and practicing wiht his sword. He jsut hadn't anticipated farther away meaning colder. He should know better by now. The half dragon made his way up to a leveled off part only stop stop at the sight of Rhea and Rynhart. Well. No point in practicing in peace quiet and solitude then. Not if there were people there. The man smiled at the two and waved.

"Rhea! Rynhart! Good to see you once more."

Alair smiled, his sword sheathed safely away. "I hadn't anticipated on anyone being ehre. I was hoping this would be a good place for sword practice." He admitted quietly. "Just ot go through my forms, you understand. If I lose my edge her, I have an older brothers back home who will nigh on kill me." He smiled at them, and shut up, well aware he was rambling.

Alair grinned. "Ah. It would no doubt be helpful. I'm still young yet, so I'm not exactly perfect." How he had even survived his adventures in the sky, he wasn't certain. A lot of luck and good flying. "Perhaps jsut the motions? I would rather not be destroyed by your skill." He grinned.

He was youn gin draogn years after all. And while he was decent, he wasn't quite what you would call good.

Alair immediately began to shiver alsmot violently at the climate, but unsheatehd his own sword, trying really hard to focus. Oh dear gods. This was deadly weather for the young half breed. The activity would keep him wamr, he reminded hismelf. He jsut had to start moving.

Alair's form was perfect for now, though there was no telling if that would last once he started moving. The sword had been made for him, and whilst heavy he could easily handle the blade. Teh half-dragon glanced to Rynhart's form to double check his own.

Alair kept up with Rynahrt, though hsi footign was no always exactly as it should be. the half breed was still shaking, and his lips would begin to tinge blue. But he kept going with a steady determination, refusing to give in to his one major weakness.

As a dragon, espcially a half fire dragon, he should have been able to handle the cold so much easier than he could. But it was hsi other half that conteracted him so much that he couldn't help but be weakened by the chill air.

Why oh why did she have to choose such a cold illusion?

Alair stumbled in the cold air as the snow thickeed, determined to keep going. Only a few more passes did him in and he collapsed to his knees, wings and arms curling around hs body protectively. Dammit! IT was tiems like these eh would kill for the ability to create fire like so many of his people could. Why did he have to be so weak and so rpone to the cold. The half dragon was shivering violently as he huddled up, tryign to limit what the cold snow could touch.

Alair uncruled slwoly as the comparable warmth fo the ruins registered and he accepted Rynhart's hand up. "It's a weakness I fidn I am always facing." He admitted quietly. "No healer or dcotor or mage can help. Spells rarely do more than dissipate of slide off." He shrugged, pickign up hsi sword and sheathing it. "Thank you."

Alair nodded and stayed where he was still recovering. He slipped out the opposite direction, back to town. He needed...desert heat. Fire rocks. Warmth. He'd get it too, in his own place.

Alair did jsut that and smiled, continuing on his way towards the song. He wore full armor once more, though it was covered, slightly, by a rather eleborate overcoat made so his wings could be free. He sword remained sheathed at his side, and the young half dragon seemed perfectly content.

The ruins turned out to be a good place to practice. He had returned late yesterday evenign for a bit of flight practice, not wanting his wings to get out of shape.

Alair caught sight of the sword tossed open and grabbed it quickly, blocking the swign as best he could without warning. Ouch! That one jarred. Geez, Rynhart couldn't possibly give him warning.

The half breed winced and jumped back, careful of his footing on the ruins ground. Thsi was absolute madness, it was. Good thing he was good with madnesss. The half breed moved back and grumbled.

"His Rynhart." He said as he pulled the swung the sword up in a powerful low swing, intent on turnign the poor block into something somewhat decent. At least it was merely wooden practice swords.

Alair hissed as he continued backwards, tryign to keep his footing well. He hated going backwards, on so many levels. The younger male jumped backwards, out of range of the sword and swung his sword in a diagonal slash the top rip to the bottom left, determined to at least land a single hit on the more experienced dragon. He'd certainly be lucky if he did, considering the sheer difference in experience.

The half dragon pressed foreward, hopign to drive Rynhart back to more steady ground. Footing ehre was terrible, and he was struggling to keep his footign sold.

Alair was barely sweating, the heat being somethign entirely welcome. The intensity of the spar however was definitely gettign to him, along with the terrain. The blasted rocks made it diffcult to keep his balance.

The half-dragon was briefly distracted by Rhea's appearance and offered her a quick nod, his eyes on Rynhart. He couldn't afford to be distracted, not with this battle of swords and balance.

Alair seemed to grow stronger from the increased heat, and each of his blows had more power behind them. His footign was not as certain as Rynahrt's be still, each blow hit with mroe force than before as the half dragon exchanged blows wiht the full dragon.

Heat was his friend, and he adored it, drew strength from it. This did not even match the temperature of the fire rocks he kept.

Alair 's eyes widdened and he griined going for the blow from above, determined to knock Rynhart down so he could win. He thought not of it being a possible deception. Rather the young half dragon thought only of pressign the percieved weakness.

He was young, but certainly old enough he should at least expect a feint. But no. life on an air ship and battle there were compeltely different than battle on land. More firepower for one thing.

A victoriuous gleam already touched the foolish younglings eyes.
