Alair shook his head. "I'll be fine. I'm rather used to the cold." He shrugged. "My inner fire doesn't work well." He admitted cheefully. "It's what I get for being only half dragon." He took another sip letting the alcohol warm him up.

Alair pulled the scarf away from his neck to reveal scaled and pulled up hsi sleeve as well. "Yep. All over. It's not nearly as cool as full humans think." He cheerfully said, though he shivered once more. To conteract the cold he took another sip from his drink and fixed the scarf and sleeves. "Plus, because of my mix, I didn't quite come out right. So I'm always cold, unless i'm in the desert, surrounded by fire rocks."

Alair smiled slightly. "A little. Wings get in the way, I admit." He said with a smile. "I have to have most of my clothes made custom to handle them." Or he would have to rip open the back. "Though if I go to the dragonlands I can generally get a shirt off the rack. They have them for dragons in human form there in the shops."

Alair blinked and looked up, hearign a familiar accent. He turned to see Rhea and Rynhart and smiled slightly before turnign back to his drink. Ha. And his family had told him no one ever went to Wing City. That was a lie.

He recognized that accent well enough. It was one he had been careful to train himself to be rid of before her came here. He sipped at his hot toddy and debated going to talk to him. Other than recognizing theis accent though, he had no real reason.

Alair shrugged and decided to chance it. The worst that could happen is he would be flambeed. And that was actually very warm. Teh ahlf dragon stood and took his ahlf empty drink with him, walking over to Rynhart and Rhea. "Hello." He wasn't certain what else to say, really.

Alair laughed. "Copulation. My siblings turned out much healthier than myself, but copulation, I assure you. I'm Alair. It's a pleasure to meet the two of you. And yes. The musis is truly delightful." He said quietly. "I have not seen many of your kind in Wing City. I have not been here long, admittedly, but I cannot help but wonder what brings you here."

Alair smiled slightly. "I can't pilot the skies forever, apaprently. Not without some legal trouble." Quite abit. He had been er...arrested a one too many times. "So I'm hanging up my flight ribbons in favor of a job down here."

He smiled slightly. "If I can fidn one. I'm rather partial to the skies, but I keep gettign in legal trouble. Don't fly here. Don't take that. That's not yours." He shrugged. "Never touched a dragon's horde though. I'm a bit smarter than that."

Alair grinned. "I quite agree Rhea. They are horrible at sharing the skies. I am lucky however. We believe I have inherited my mother's long life. As far as we cna tellso far, it is so." The half dragon checked his watch and swore. "I apologize. I will have to talk with you some other time. I haven't seen many others like us here." He checked his watch again and winced. "I have an interview to attend shortly however, so if you will forgive me."

Alair slipped into the bar, bundled up as if against a blizzard, despite the pleasant weather. The half dragon took a seat at the bar and ordered a hot toddy obviously hoping to warm up. Blasted chill. Why could this place not be in the middle of the desert. Oh well. He had the job he had hoped for now, so he was fine.

Alair grinned. "If it'll stick. Spells have a tendency to slide off me. Great in battle, not os much for the healing." He admitted quietly. "Pretty bad for the healing actually." He shrugged "Eh. Everythign has it's downsides."

Alair nodded thoughtfully. "That might work. I think it would be helpful, if nothing else." And if it remained until this man died, then it would be far more affective than most things. "I would love to see him, when he has the tiem of course."
