Alair accepted the hand up and dusted himself off, checking the practice sword over to insure it would survive another spar. You could never tell with the things. The half breeds revealed in the lingering warmth of his body and was sad to see it go. There had to be someway to keep that from happening. Ah well.

He checked over his nice clothes and nodded in satisfaction. That was so much better.

"Hello rhea. Sorry I wasn't able to properly say so earlier."

Alair nodded. "Thank you. And yes. I do have a love of heat." He smiled slightly. "What do you want me to do with the practice sword? It made to through the spar in good shape." Not perfect, there had been power behind those blows. But good.

Alair entered the bar, looking more than a little beat up. The half dragon was dressed simply in a hoodie and jeans, showing the scales on his neck unselfconciosuly. He ha dlived with them for long enough it really didn't matter to him. The man took a seat at the count and smiled at the bartender. "A scotch please?"

He needed it after that trainign spar. Geex, could Rynhart not hit so hard? He was still bruised from yesterday.

Alair raised an eyebrow at hearing Renee speak. Ah. New management? Well. If they had raised their daughter to behave so, no doubt that they wouldn't last long. After all, if you couldn't raise your child to be decent, you couldn't run a business.

The half dragon looked to Shadow Lionheart, who has sat down near him and nodded to him tryign to be friedly. "Hello."

Alair nodded. "Liek a bird? Winged? Do you mind if I take a look at them?" He flexed his own wings slightly. "Just to make certain they're okay, of course." He smiled getnly at the bundle.

Alair ignored teh upcoming fight over who owned a corporation that divided it's ownership into shares and went over to the booth, picking up the bundle and exmaing the small child gently and tenderly. This was a side not often seen. The man gently drew out each wing and looked them over, running gentle fingers over the bones. She appeared in fine shape for sure.

Alair returned the the counter after leaving a shield amulet on the small child to protect her from an odd spells or accidental attacks. People here were nuts, after all. Teh half-dragon took a seat and flagged down the bartender. "Hey, can I get a hot toddy? I'm starting to get a little chilly."

Alair nodded in thanks, and paid her for the drink, tipping her well. It was only courtesy to tip after all. The drink was delicious. Not that many bartenders knew how to make a proper hot toddy.

Alair 's player ran on hot toddy's during the winter too. Mm delicious. And Excelelnt for warmth, which is totally why the half dragon drank them. The man sipped at it, enjoying the warmth that permeated his boens with every swallow. Ah, relief. Why did people eveer keep a room under 100 degrees eh didn't know. Even that was practically chilly!

Alair relaxed and picked up his amulet from the disappeared child. This place was crazy, what with teh randomly disappeareding people. It was almost like magic. Or as if there were some strange higher beigns that enjoyed playign with their lives, uncaring of who they were as a person, or them making normal movements common to all mortals and immortals.

Alair entered Gambit's bar, dressed in more form fiting clothes than earlier. How many times a day could one half dragon change his clothes? As often as he wanted to. He had more than enough expensive clothes to reflect his every mood that he could easily got three months without wearing the same article of clothing and still have a wildly diverse wardrobe.

God he loved being a dragon. Especially nowadays, whens your horde was no longer neccessarily gold and jewels. Though he had those two, carefull hidden from all who wanted them.

The half dragon had a piece of fire rock hanging from his neck, keeping him warm. It radiated an intense heat, proving unsafe for humans to touch, or those who suffered from heat related weaknesses. But he barely noticed more than it's blessed warmth.

Alair headed to the bar counter and took a seat, looking for the bartender whom, regardless of gender, he would smile charmingly at. "One hot toddy please." He requested, his voice marvelously smooth and carming. When he was warm, it seemed as if he was completely different than when he was cold.

As if he had more of everythign good, and less of all those negative traits. More dragon than human, to be sure.

Alair glanced to Whisper and smiled slighty. "They very rarely are." He shrugged. "Though there tends to be a random bartender at the oddesst hours. And they never seem to be on for an entire shift." He answered her with a smile.

Alair snickered. "There do seem to be a lot of volunteers at this place. I haven't figured out why. It's a rather violent place to work. I'm Alair by the way." He held his hand out to her and smiled.

Alair felt the surge of emotion and couldn't help but laugh joyously. "I did hear his conversation earlier. I believe he thinks he owns the bar, but I know it would take a shareholders meetign for the majority holder to be able to sell his stocks. Among a great many other things, merely owning stocks does not create a soul ownership of a building. and manage hasn't changed. It's like...buying stocks at Burger King, going in there and painting everything purple.

Because you know own part."

Alair grinned and nodded. "I do, yes. And I agree. Very confused." the man smiled slightly. "Are you asking for a dance, Whisper? If so, I would gladly dance with you." He flirted gently, instinctively.

He meant absolutely nothing by it. If anything, he was merely being what passed as polite for him.

Alair frowned, noticing the touch, but smiled at her, uncertain what it was. "Half dragon." He said simply, smiling at her. "Half shifter, but I can't changed much at all. I can't even hide the scales." He paused. "Not that I would want to. they're very useful, though I have to keep them oiled or they itch." That was too true.

The half dragon smiled slightly. 'And you'd be whole human, yes? You look like one, at least, and smell like one as well."
