Alasia

smart, quick, kind, trustworthy

0 · 849 views · located in Terra

a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Jade-Venom

Description

Alasia is a white dragon with strange gray swirls over her back and around her eyes. Her ears are short and wolf like. Her eyes are a stunning baby blue with darker lines running through them. Her wings are feathered and she has jay's feathers as little earrings on her left ear.

Alasia is usually a kind, smart and quick dragon, but don't get on her bad side, as she can change ever so suddenly from nice to mean. Her rage takes hold and she can't keep it in. She considers herself a monster. This tends to happen most times, and she usually hides after it, hoping to keep away from everyone and calm down.

She is best with her claws, but her teeth are sharp as a blade and will cut straight through bone. Her tail also has a blade and her wings have sharp claws on them too. She has a burning breath of blue fire, which can kill almost immediately. She doesn't use this much whilst normally fighting, but when she gets angry she can.

Alasia grew up with her brother, Delamia, since they were abandoned to their father's will. They always stuck together until Delamia was taken hostage by a darker dragon, who's only ambition was to enslave all others and rule the land. Alasia, unable to go on alone, went in search of her brother, only to find him weak and cold in the sleeping dragon's lair. After he died, she buried him and found that his spirit could help her. Approaching the dragon's den for a second time, the scent of death was stronger and Alasia was reluctant to go in. The dragon fought Alasia and Delamia with no sign of respect and was killed as they inflicted a fatal wound to his throat and lungs. Alasia found that she'd been controlled by something she'd never felt before, something she was somehow proud of. Rage and Anger. For the rest of her life she used it to help her in battle, with the spirit of her brother beside her. And here she is now, fighting the many obstacles she must face.

So begins...

Alasia emerged from the forest. She felt the rays of heat beat down on her already warm back. She breathed in deeply before looking around, letting her surroundings become familiar. Her brother stood beside her, the trees almost visible through his spirit. She sat down, letting her feet sink into the ground. Delamia sighed in relief. The spines on his back seemed to be blown back by the wind, yet he sat upright, not even leaning as the air battered his scales. Alasia folded her wings and rest her head on her claws.

Delamia frowned.
"We need to go," He growled, picking up the scent of something strange. "I think there's someone -or thing- here with us." Alasia looked dissapointed, but nodded and followed her brother back through the forest.

Alasia followed her brother to the mountains, taking note of how many rocks there were. Great for shelter she thought to herself as they landed beside a stone. Delamia sat down, copied by Alasia, who was hoping to be safe and away from anyone or thing that was after them, or something just wanting to attack. She plucked a loose feather from her wing. It stung, but she had to look neat. She had and idea. She grabbed a stick firmly in her jaws, using the pointed end to try and stab a hole in the bottom of the feather. It worked. "Come here," She smiled, watching as her brother leaned over.

Delamia felt a small pain in his ear, yet he didn't flinch. Alasia did something with the feather she had, and pulled away. "Delamia, I'm done, you can look away now," Alasia inspected his ear. "You look great, I didn't think you could touch ghosts or spirits." Delamia shrugged with a smile. He guessed his sister had just placed the feather in his ear, like hers. He noticed the slight amount of blood from her wing, and simply licked it away, noticing how tired he felt. He lay down and let sleep take hold.

Alasia copied her brother, sleep easily taking over. Through her dreams she still heard fighting, and wondered if it wasn't just her imagination.

After a long rest the two woke up. Alasia heard fighting still.
"Bro, I don't like this..." She whispered to her dead brother. He nodded and got back up.
"Maybe we should head back to Terra," He mumbled. "It was rather calm there, and there must have been plenty to eat."
With a sigh, she got up and spread her wings with a yawn. Delamia did the same and took flight.

Delamia let out a yawn as he felt rays of sunlight heat his back. The feathers in his ear didn't bother him at all, and seemed to now be part of him. He smiled and looked to his sister, who was close behind.
"Well then, let's make this quick!" He laughed as he began to make his way back to their starting point.

Alasia let out a sigh as she and her brother landed in the forest. They walked out into the open and smiled.
"I think we should live here, looks peaceful enough," She yawned, laying on the soft grass.
"Yea, I know..." Delamia licked his chest, looking over his shoulder to Alasia. She let her head rest upon her feet and she yawned once again.

"Tired?" Delamia laughed. "You've been like this since I died."
He was sure he saw a slight blush on his sister's cheeks as he said those words. She simply looked away. Delamia smiled and looked around. The clearing wasn't the biggest, but definitely not too small. It was the perfect place to live. He stared to the trees and ran over to them, reaching forwards with his claw. It touched the bark with a slight scraping sound. With that, he began to dig under the tree. Soon, he managed to cut the tree's roots and it fell. It fell into another smaller tree, which fell into another tree the same size.
"Perfect!" He said to himself, beginning to drag the tree along to the clearing. He placed it at the other side of the clearing. Then, he took the other two trees and placed them beside the longer tree, making sure they were facing the East and West.

Alasia watched him, confused.
"Wha-" She was cut off as Delamia let out a blast of fire. It hit the ground in the center of the box.
"Come, we can use this as a little home," Delamia lay down beside Alasia, who had now moved herself into the burnt spot. He quickly fell asleep, leaning slightly on Alasia. She didn't mind, and soon fell asleep too. It wasn't long before she woke up again. She looked around and watched for anyone or anything that might come near.

Azzen crouched on a branch, covered in shadow by the leaves. She intently watched the two dragons, every once in a while licking her lips hungrily. Her head was a wreak, headaches wouldst stop spearing them selves in her brain, but hopefully some blood would clear it up. She sniffed the air and zeroed in on the male of the pair, he was asleep which would make her job easier. The only problem she had to deal with was the female, she was awake which meant Azzen would have to be fast and efficient. Azzen grinned, her small fangs poking through her lips, she hadn't been hunting in a long time. This was going to be fun. She leaned out on the branch ready to pounce.

Alasia lifted her head as she scented something. She growled and let out a slight puff of smoke before looking to her brother. Well, if I can touch him, other things can... she said to herself. Good job I'm awake then. She looked around and drew her attention to the trees on the other side of the clearing. She narrowed her pupils and carefully nudged Delamia's head off of her side, getting up and quietly going to investigate a sound. She was unaware that Azzen was there and looked back to her brother before going into the forest to find out what she was hearing. With a last glance at Delamia, she headed into the trees with a sigh.
"So much happening, what's with this place? Seems like the animals are always bored..." She muttered as she disappeared into the forest in search of both food and the sounds.

Azzen was completely still as Alasia passed below her, and grinned madly when she disappeared into the undergrowth. Stupid prey, they just walk off and let me have it She though as she climber down from the tree. When her feet were on the ground Azzen sniffed the air, then apparently satisfied, she began to slowly make her way to Delamia. Every so often, stopping and making sure the female dragon was not coming back. Azzen climbed onto the tree trunk behind Delamia, giggling madly, and with a loud roar, she pounced. Her fingers grew claws, and her teeth became sharp. Her eyes held a crazed look as they became slits in mid-air.

Delamia almost instantly woke as he heard Azzen's roar. He also narrowed his eyes and tried to get up. His first attempt was a little shaky, so he fell. The second attempt was better, and he let out a puff of smoke. He hoped it would confuse or blind his attacker so he could get a better look at what he was dealing with. It could even be on his back, and he hadn't noticed. Either way, he had to be victorious, or else he might die for a second time. He wished nobody could touch him. The curse... He reminded himself. This is gonna be hard. He let out another cloud of smoke, which soon covered the clearing. Delamia hoped it would help him. If the creature was on his back, smoke wouldn't do anything.

Azzen clamped her jaws into Delamia's neck, locking them there and sinking her claws into his body. She could feel his warn blood running into her mouth, and down her throat. This made her even more excited. She clamped harder, drawing more blood into her mouth. Her heart rate quickened, it was perfect, nothing was going to stop her now, she would kill this dragon then the other one she had seen, and feast on them. The dragon couldn't shake her off his back, not while she had such a good grip, but just to be sure Azzen tightened her grip, letting more blood flow between her fingers. Her eyes were savage and feral, staring wildly at the blood slowly running over her hands and mouth.

Hearing something back the way she came, Alasia turned and rushed back into the clearing. She gasped as she saw her brother trying to shake off a strange elf-like creature. He was letting out clouds of smoke, telling her that he was in pain. Alasia, with a growl, began to reach forwards with her one foot, trying to knock the 'thing' off of her brother. Her growl quickly turned into a roar. Alasia was ready to leap, but she'd most likely hurt Delamia and get hurt herself. Her claw was now behind Azzen. Closing her eyes, she lightly bit her bottom lip and swiped at the creature.

Azzen reared back and screamed as the claw cut deep through her shirt, and back. She turned and saw the other Alasis behind her. The staring down at the blood that was slowly running from her back. Azzen touched it gingerly and screamed again, falling off of Delamia, and arching her back in pain, as she hit the ground. Azzen slowly worked her way onto four limbs, cursing another language and spitting blood onto the grass. She could feel the wound, it had gone deep, almost to her backbone. It stung whenever she moved, so she collapsed onto her elbows and knees. "Zect'en...Zect'en" Azzen coughed out No, English stupid, she struggled to remember the words before the two dragons killed her, holding up a hand in surrender "Mercy..........Mercy please" The pain had cleared her head, but now it was unbearable.

"We won't kill you," Alasia growled. She looked down at Azzen's back, which was bleeding pretty badly. Delamia lookeda little better, but he seemed calm now. She understood that English wasn't the creature's language. They wouldn't have understood each other if they had both spoken what they had known. She wished she knew a way to help, but she'd probably hurt Azzen more.
"Delamia, can you think of something at least?" She asked. Delamia shrugged as his body went into its partly see through form. Alasia looked around and suddenly felt an urge to lick the wound clean. She's not a baby dragon you idiot... she growled silently to herself. She surprisingly didn't feel the anger she would have.

Azzen could feel blood dripping between her teeth, and her heart pulsing in her head. Her blood began to form a small pool at her hands and knees , it was warm and sticky. Azzen suddenly coughed up a large bubble of blood, puke was mixed in with the blood creating a nasty looking, soupy liquid. Her breathing became heavy and labored, Not good, I need some fire, she tried to form a small ball of fire in her palm, but it just fizzled out. She crawled forward a few paces before collapsing, and passing out.

Alasia gasped as she walked up to Azzen. She held her wing over herand looked up to Delamia. He had a leaf in his claw.
"Here, use this to clear up some blood," he said quietly, looking at the liquid that Azzen had coughed up. Alasia took the leaf and moved her wing. She brushed it lightly against Azzen's back, clearing some blood. This leaf was about the size of three feathers from Alasia's wing. She looked down at Azzen once again and began to say something to herself. She stopped herself half way through and stared ahead, yawning and watching the trees which swayed slightly as a faint breeze passed.

The cut was deep, and Azzen flinched and groaned when the leaf touched her back. Her red hair fluttered across her back as the wind flew by. Azzen muttered something in her fevered dream.
Azzen woke up on a bed, in a cave. She looked around, the walls of the cave were made of thick stone. A girl stood beside the bed, looking down on Azzen. "Well it certainly took you long enough, Pantherax is taking a pack to Entheiir and I have to go. Just wanted to say bye" Then the girl ran off. Azzen rubbed her eyes, had the whole thing with the dragons been a dream? When she sat up, a sharp pain in her back made her cry out. She felt her back where the cut should be. There was nothing there. She threw her feet over the bed and stood up. Had she been home the whole time? She must have been asleep, but for how long? She pulled her shirt over her head, ad turned toward the door way. A woman wearing white dress with long white hair, and a kind face stood there. She walked over and put her hands on Azzen's shoulders, "What are you doing he-", Azzen was cut off by the woman placing a finger on her lips and smiling warmly "Not now Azzen" she gently pushed Azzen back onto the bed "You cant live your life inside this hallucination. I love you my child, so wake up" She touched Azzen's back and Azzen's eyes snapped open.
Azzen threw up again on the grass and groaned, her back felt horrible, like the rest of her body. She slowly wiggled a finger in front of her face. Something had wiped away the blood on her back, but blood still caked her legs, arms and body. Azzen shivered on the grass, the wind blew across her wound, causing a small burst of pain shooting up her spine, and Azzen groaned again. How long was I out? the sun was setting in the distance, so Azzen assumed a few hours. The wound on her back had cauterized, but it still burned like a cold fire.

Alasia looked to Azzen and moved her wing. Her pupils turned round as she saw how late it was getting. She saw Delamia sit beside her, still looking rather hurt. He'd cleared most of the blood but it was still slowly seeping from the bite.
"Awake, what now Del?" She whispered.
"Dunno. We wait and see what happens?" Delamia replied, pupils slits and the slightest hint of fury still blazing in his eyes.
"I think this... Creature, or human, or whatever is in pain," Alasia sighed, watching Delamia as he reached out with his claw to sweep the sick aside. He shrugged and let out a blast of fire to make sure it had gone. He looked down at Azzen too, examining her features. The dragon seemed to be lost in a memory before light suddenly came back to his eyes. He got up and spread his wings.
"I'll go get some food. If it hurts you be sure to roar or something," Delamia quickly took flight. "I'll be back with a deer or something like that."
Alasia sighed and looked down. It was just the two of them.

Azzen's eyes slowly traveled up the dragons legs, and chest until they stopped on Alasia's head. Oh crap, I've gotta get up. Azzen slowly pushed her self up on her hands, drawing her knee's to her chest and then rolling into a sitting position, crying out in pain as she landed on her butt. Azzen stared at her blood caked hands Is this blood? Is it my blood? Her stomach growled in response to her question, and she looked around. Azzen looked up at Alasia nervously, and patted her belly. What was the word? oh yeah. "Hungry", Azzen stated and patted her belly again

"My brother is getting deer," Alasia understood that Azzen would be hungry. "If that's alright." She blinked once before laying her tail on her back feet. She now looked straight ahead, her bright eyes reflecting the light on the blade of her tail. Her white skin was a silver as the faint moonlight shone past the clouds. She folded her feathered wings closely to her body and she waited. Surely he won't take too long? The dragon made a curve of blue fire behind her, which stay lit and didn't spread. Its flames lapped gently at the air and warmth blew from them. She coughed once and looked to her left as Delamia approached, walking noisily from the trees with a deer dangling from his jaws. He placed it down beside Azzen and Alasia. He had a hawk too, which he also placed down. Alasia looked to Azzen.

Azzen nodded, and watched Alasia admiring the dragons silver body. She reached out to touch the wings, and stroked them softly. How are the wings so soft? Oh, their made out of feathers, I haven't seen that before. Man im hungry. Their getting a deer. Whats a deer? I guess I'll find out soon, then she felt the heat from the fire and retracted her hand quickly. She struggled to remember the words in English "Tha- Thank you." and stared wide eyed at the deer in front of her. She glanced up at Alasia for approval, then pounced on the deer, ripping off chunks of meat and shoving them into her mouth hungrily.
