Argus Lambert's Story

Argus Lambert sat silently sipping his drink. He had heard of the Imperium from some cocky superior. Argus had chosen to remain a grunt. The life of an officer was too posh for him. He was pure Araxian. The Araxian's have been visiting Terra quietly for a while, documenting wildlife, and studying plants. The Scientist thought they could use data collected from Terran plants to help them learn a way to Terra form nearby Planets. Argus was old for an Araxian and had been in service his whole life. He took a sip of his whiskey and crossed his arms.
The setting changes from Gambit's Bar to Forest Border
Argus ran towards his pickup truck. he had just stolen some goods from the local pawn shop, and he had to admit, for a pawn shop this size, it had pretty good loot. as he was just about to get on the dirt road that lead to the forest, he heard sirens behind him. "Ah shit" he muttered, and took out his uzi. Argus wasn't going down without a fight.
He looked behind him, and saw only one squad car. Argus smiled, this would be easier than he thought. He opened the driver side window, and fired a burst at the windshield. The bullets shattered the windshield, and the policeman swerved off the road into a tree. Argus whooped and drove on, but his foot slid off the gas and onto the brake, and he swerved off into a tree near a clearing with three people in it.

"well then i must be coo-coo. well, anyways, who is this lady behind you?" just as he was about to answer, all of a sudden, a pickup truck slammed into a tree not 30 feet away from them. As argus walks into the bar, he suddenly notices that he knows nobody here. he walks in silently, and sits on a stool next to the bartender. "hey.. uh... bartender." the man behind the counter looks at him. "yeah. uh, can i get a martini?" and the bartender nodded, and went to work.
argus looked around the bar. it was full of people. He had never seen so many people in one spot. when he lived out in the forest, he only saw signs of people and their wood chopping. Argus sighed, and waited for his martini to come.

Looked around the bar once again. he saw a man bleeding, and shook his head. This was a hell of a place. he just wanted to get his drink, maybe two more. he hoped nobody here recognized him, but he doubted it. he was new in this bar, and he wanted to get settled in. his drink finally came, he picked it up, and guzzled it down. he asked for another one, and the bartender just looked at him wide eyed. "you got some drinking skill there, sir." the bartender complimented. Argus asked for his drink again, and the man went to work again. he hoped nobody would find out of his identity.
The door to the bar suddenly flew open at the sound of a loud, which was a boot slamming the door open. A man stepped into the bar, and looked around, his eyes narrowed as he observed the patron's of the bar. He was here to drink, and forget shit he wanted forgotten.
"Time to get drunk off my ass" he said with a deep chuckle, and walked forward slowly, making his way to the bar counter, and sitting on a stool.
He looked around for a bartender, "Bartender! God damn it, guess I have to use that screen" he said with a groan and reached over to it, his big hands grabbing it and he scrolled down the screen. He then slammed in an order for a bottle of Whiskey, surprisingly not breaking the screen when he slammed his fist down on it.
"Time to get drunk off my ass" he said with a deep chuckle, and walked forward slowly, making his way to the bar counter, and sitting on a stool.

Argus lifted the bottle of Whiskey to his mouth when it arrived but then felt a claw touch his skin and he grabbed the knife that was in it's sheathe, on his pants. He then heard the noise and turned around, going to confront it with his blade.
But when he turned his body around, his eyes narrowed even more, "Son of a bitch, who the hell is there?" he asked out loud, he know he felt something touch him. He then turned back around and drank some of his Whiskey.

Argus just took another drink of his Whiskey bottle and mumbled about something involving ghosts and shit. He then put his rifle up on the bar counter, and started messing with it. "Damn rifle, you jam again, and it might get me killed" he said with a disgruntled tone. He then proceeded to adjust things on the clip.
Argus then felt something touch his shoulder, and he turned around quickly, his rifle in his hands. He aimed it around with an angry look on his face. "Whoever the fuck is doing that, stop it right now, before I shove this gun into your god damn face" he he said with a angered tone.
Argus looked around slowly, and then felt his gun get lifted out of his hands, but he held onto it, and aimed it around again. "Very fucking funny, show yourself asshole" he said with a calmer tone, and held onto the gun tightly.
Argus looked behind him slowly as he heard the growl and he raised his gun, as he saw the shade charging at him, and he fired about five rounds at it and did not move a muscle after. He coughed as he felt the shade faze through him and he looked around, his eyes narrowed, he stood up.
"What the fuck are you?" he asked out loud.

Argus gripped tightly onto his gun as he heard those words, but he kept his composure, "Shut the fuck up" he said with a snarl, his anger started to raise more. He was really getting sick of this shit, he had come into the bar to get drunk and had something fucking with him. He chuckled a little as he felt the cold surround him.
Argus leaned forward, getting close to Nightgaunt's face, and he stared into the shade's eyes, and shook his head. "You aren't worth a fucking second of my time you casper-like motherfucker" he said with a snarl back to the shade, pure hatred in his voice.
"I'm an entertaining mortal? Haha" he said with a chuckle, and rolled his eyes, "I'll get whatever the ghostbuster's used to kick your ass, or furthermore, just fill your body with bullets that are worth more than your body" he said with a wide grin. "I didn't know you were a dog? You want a bone? I got plenty of them, and wouldn't mind using one to make you run around in circles like a fucking mut" he said with a grin.
Argus just chuckled, shaking his head, "I know that they don't, just funny to get you a little angry" he said with a wide grin, and listened to what he said, "I would be dog food? Well, guess I'm lucky?" he asked with a still grinning mouth. "So who are you exactly a guard dog for?" he asked with a curious tone, and picked up his bottle of Whiskey, and drank some of it.
Argus nodded his head, and then looked around as Nightgaunt looked away, "Someone there?" he asked with a grin and rolled his eyes. "I'm Argus, I would say it's a pleasure to meet you Nightgaunt, but yeah..." he said with a chuckle.
"Ah, well, that's interesting" he said with a grin and rolled his eyes. "How often do you come here....".
Argus raised a brow and then chuckled, nodding his head. "Observation mission eh? Not much too observe here, it's pretty fucking boring" he said with a grin.
