Connor Gateworthy's Story

The streets of the Lower Levels were bustling with people of many backgrounds, it was a normal day in the Zanzarian Port. People trading illegal items, hiring assassination jobs or simply sitting back and relaxing in their "Home".
The slums were that uncivilized, that the smash of a window drew no eyes.

A strange man was thrown out of the window of a tavern, dressed in a black long coat. As he thumped on the ground, his body seemed to clatter as if metal was clanging together. The man's right eye was not normal, the pupil was not a solid circle, instead it was in a black X shape which stretched across the Iris; Before he could get up, another three men jumped out from the window. Two carried homemade melee weapons, the other held a hand gun, this guy seemed to be the leader due to his higher dress code and choice of weaponry.

"The fuck ya think yer doin'! Bitin' my daughter like that!" The big guy shouted at the man on the floor, holding the gun to his head.

"'ey. She was coming on to me, and I was hungry. It's natural that that would happen." The man replied in a cocky tone as he slowly raised from the ground.

"Why ya little-" BANG! The big guy pulled the trigger before he finished his own sentence; The bullet flew straight into the man's forehead, causing him to fall to the ground on his back.

"Let's get outta 'ere!" The big guy shouted, causing more armed people to leave the tavern, two of which carrying a female whose arm was bleeding heavily. They all left the scene.

The strange man's body was left on the ground, no blood seemed to leave his body. In fact, it seemed that his body did not contain blood. To some people who could see the life energy inside being, they would see that the man was still living. Although it was obvious, the bullet wound was healing up quickly and a few groans left his mouth.

Lunix saw the commotion. He saw a large man raise some sort of weapon to the lying ones head, and a explosion sounded. The big man ran away. That guy's still alive, but barely. Anyway who cares. Solix said. "No!, lets go help him!" Lunix replied, and he ran to the man's aid.

The man continued groaning, the bullet wound had already sealed and he was gradually regaining his strength. "Ergh. Dammit, doesn't that guy know that doing that would kill people?" He moaned to himself as he slowly pulled himself up, the people around him were acting as if nothing happened. Well of course, how many was it now? 6 times in the space of 3 days? Probably.
Wait, some guy is paying attention, dammit.

The man's pupil was still in the X shape, it had sensed the being running towards him and caused his body to have a natural reaction. He jumped up from sitting and held his hands under his long coat, behind his back, holding his machine pistols, ready to pull them out of their holsters. The movement had revealed the cause of the clanging metal on his body. There were ammunition clips, hundreds of them. They were strapped to belts which were wrapped around his torso, every movement gave a small clang of the ammunition clips banging together.

"Tryin' to mess wit' a man whose already down?"

Lunix Sees the man pull out weapons similar to the one he seen. "Um, if you plan to use those, I kindly suggest not to. I just came to see if you needed help." JUST STAB THE GUY! WILL YA LUNIX!Solix Shouted."No, I won't stab him. I don't like being killed. It's annoying." Lunix whispered back.

The guy was talking to himself... It's best to get out of this madness quickly. Oh wait, that law Lord Payemyndii made... He thought to himself, allowing him to smile and relax a little. Releasing his guns and pulling his arms out from behind his back.
He stood, slouching. His legs slightly bent and his back bent forward, his arms were left hanging down as if they had no life in them.
"My apologies, I always react to people running to be like that." He apologized, "Who are you?"

He raised his eyebrow at the fairly quick event taking place. This guy actually might prove useful to the clan. "Lunix and Solix. I'ma call ya both 'Insane bros'. Anywho, I'm Connor Gateworthy of the Payemyndii Clan."

Connor had completely opened up, he showed no interest about the condition thing. Instead he had already wondered next to the Insane bros and he put his arm over his shoulders. "Now, how 'bout we get a drink? I'm waitin' for a partner to get 'ere. But 'e is takin' 'is dang time."

"Genetics?" Connor suggests, interrupting the insane bros from their explanation. "I know some guy whose genetics causes their eye t' change. Oh, and my weapons? They just machine-pistols. My fortee" Connor was smiling, he was so relaxed that his right pupil had changed shape to become a black ring, instead of the normal solid black circle other humans possess.

"'ey, you 'eard of the Payemyndii Clan?"

"Payemyndii Clan? Not on Terra, that's fo sho. Back to where I came from." Solix quickly explained that his body had two souls, his and Lunix's, when he finished, Lunix appeared to him."Anyway, bet my glaive and chakrams ain't gon do crap here, so better get those whatchamacallits." He called them Machine-Pistols you ignorant drunkLunix told him. "Machine Pistols I mean."Also, You do want to join the Payemyndii clan, its useful to have Allies.Lunix as well said."Back to da clan, If ya implying me to join it, count us in."

This guy is happily joining the clan? Lord Payemyndii will be happy! Connor thought, he didn't really listen to the explanation. It wasn't important to him. "Well, me leader can equip ya wit' Machine Pistols. I will need to contact 'im. Lets 'ead off out of earshot." Connor pulled on the insane bros as he walked towards an alleyway, heading off to an abandoned room at the end of the alleyway.

"Wait Wait Wait. You did not see my brother just a few minutes ago?"Solix said in disbelief.I'll show myself again Lunix said. At that moment Lunix appeared, a Black shadow emanating purple light faintly. Solix grabbed Connor's arm "Look to my left. Think we are crazy now!?" SOLIX! DO NOT BE SO RUDE! NOW HE'S GONNA FIGHT US! Lunix scolded him

Lunix scolded him

Nigel strode down the street fidgeting with a piece of complex machinery in his paws. It was extraordinary how delicate and precise they where in their movements as they whirled and prodded over the odd bit of copper and steel that flashed in the darkness and the dreary artificial light. Most wouldn't be caught dead with something like that in their hands down there for fear of having it stolen from their fresh corpse but Nigel felt comfortable that most wouldn't dare pester one of his stature. He was, after all a lion. Most people learn from a very young age that lions are not to be taken lightly. Kings of the pridelands they were evolved to pounce and kill their prey with efficiancy and cold blooded fury. Of course.....that was his ancestors. Nigel wasn't coldblooded or furious. He was a humble mechanic.

Nigel froze at the sounds of discussion coming from a nearby alley. His tufted round ears turned like radar dishes toward the sound and he furrowed his brows. He knew the last thing he should do was investigate what was going on but part of him was worried. It.....sounded like someone was shouting down there. Nigel pocketed his mysterious device and jogged on towards the ally where Solix/Lunix and Connor where.

"Hey.....is everything alright down here?" He announced, making his presence known.

Solix looked over to the voice. Great. A lion. He summoned his glaive and pointed it at the lion.You are really doing this. Nevermind. It's dusk."Wait what?" Solix whispered. At that instant he collapsed and a few minutes later Lunix took control. He put the glaive away. "Hello there..."

"Like I said, it's some genetic thin'. It's amazin' what existence can throw at ya." Connor spoke, his attention grabbed by some kind of entity grabbing his cold, dead arm. "Is tha' magic? That's pretty cool, Insane Magician." Connor was amazed at the entity, he pulled his arm away and watched as the 'magic' disappeared again. "Anywho, dis ain't impor'ant at the moment. We need t' contact Lord Payemyndii."

Suddenly, a strange being appeared in the alleyway. Great someone is here, now it's gonna be hard to contact Lord Payemyndii. Unless... this guy would join.
"Yo" Connor raised his arm in a kind of wave at the lion. His body clattered again at the movements. "Watcha need?"

Nigel was taken aback by the events that occurred. The magic glaive that seemed to appear out of nowhere and the apparent collapse and revival of the man who'd wielded it. Then of course the appearance of the stranger in the hood and helmet whos question seemed completely out of place.


"What on earth is going on?" He asked slowly, his gaze going between the three. "I heard shouting....I thought that....someone was in trouble."

Cyprus studied the magic then spoke quietly, " I don't know who's magic this is other than mine or yourself's, and one thing's for sure, it's not mine." As he spoke a flame of dark energy coiled around his armored wrist and fingers. And then it disappeared.

Connor looked up at the strange person who had appeared, damn. This guy is tall. (? the way you posted, I can only assume that he is tall. Although, Connor always slouches and bends over so he would look upward at people anyway.) "may I be of assistance?" Why is this guy whispering? All of these people here are soo weird. Wait, Connor is a zombie who can't even talk right, he would fit in perfectly.
"Tha' depen's on wha' ya mean by 'assistance'." Connor first replied to the strange blackened skin man, his voice seemed cocky but also annoyed. He then faced the lion, "Shou'ing? Na na, we jus' 'aving a discussion and arr abou' t' make an impor'ant call t' my-" He moved his glance to the Insane magician and then looked back "-our, leader. No one in trouble."

"Pardon, But you still seem not to understand my condition."Lunix said. You idiot Solix. Why Won't you show?Lunix quietly scolded. At that moment, Solix appeared, Wispy, but otherwise intact. "You, Connor, are an idiot. Sure you may be immortal, but you are still an idiot!".Solix Snorted as he appeared. "Solix! You half-brained drunk! Be nice!"

"Condition? Wha' condition? As ye can see, I'm talkin' 'ere." Connor spoke with a slight sharpness of his voice, he was obviously annoyed with all of these people stopping him from calling his master with whom he is completely loyal/obsessed with.

Then, the other entity appeared again, ranting on about Connor being immortal. He didn't pay attention at all. "Idio'? Do ye wan' t' join or no'? I know I immor'al. Thanks for poin'in' tha' out." Again, he was being cocky. But more than usual, maybe all of the people around are causing him to subconsciously show off.

"Fine call yah master, if ya want ya undead freak!"Solix shouted angrily as he rushed toward Connor. "Solix Demorokali! Stop!" Lunix shouted, almost pleadingly. At that time, Solix got a bit over 2 meters away and they both convulsed in pain, collapsing, whilst a pale blue bond of energy connected them. Solix slowly started to walk to Lunix, and their pain stopped."Solix... You keep forgetting...you half-brained idiot...sorry Connor..." Lunix said, gasping.
