a character in “The Multiverse”, as played by Zab

Description

General Information:

Name: Dravor Lash
Class: Sorcerer
Age: 31
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Deity: Talos, The Destroyer, The Storm Lord

History:
Not much is known about the Sorcerer known as Dravor. Though he began his known history with Redacted, also known as 'The Warlock,' the two have been a force to be reckoned with ever since. He was first recorded being seen with this other man in the small town of West Harbor, where the two were adopted by Daeghun Farlong, a local elf, after mysterious events surrounding both of the two mages and their families. Ever since, Dravor has assisted the Warlock in a quest for power, out of loyalty to his close ally and out of knowledge of powerful spells and the like. He assisted the Warlock in forging the Sword of Gith, as well as helping the Warlock become a Spirit Eater. His arsenal of spells, though not as innately powerful as the Warlock's, are powerful in their own right, and Dravor's experience with close range combat is nothing to take lightly. The mage, under his cloak and hood, is clad in armor and wields a Greatsword with precision and strength.

Weapon:
Twilight:
Image
Twilight is a blade made out of the night's essence in itself. The weapon's bladed part is comprised solely of night itself; even during the day, the blade's face shows the night sky, which changes depending on where one looks at it from. The blade itself was pulled directly out of a Demon Lord's being himself. Fused to a bladed form, the blade has the ability to give off an electrical 'explosion' with each strike, sending bolts of lightning and sparks flying in random vectors. When in constant contact with a substance, it will constantly emit an electrical current based on the strength being put behind the blade.

Armor:

Above the rest of his attire, Dravor wears a simple black-grey cloak, which includes a hood that can cover his face entirely in the darkness it causes. The cloak arcs around to his front, having slots for both arms to pass through. From the waist down, the cloak splits into half circles that cover the outsides of his legs, which extend all the way to his ankles. The outer edges of the cloak are accented a deep, dark red, with some golden lines appearing every so often. vertically on the red outline.

From there, Dravor wears nothing on his head aside the cloak's hood. The rest of him, though, is quite the opposite.

Under the cloak, his entire body is essentially covered in heavy armor, sleek and form-fitting to allow his cloak over him. Though his right arm is covered by the cloak's sleeve, the left arm is entirely revealed, with much larger armor covering it, instead. Its purpose appears to be used for defensive purposes. The larger and bulkier armor on his left arm stops right before his left wrist, where an armored gauntlet takes over. The fingertips are exposed, while it is shown that, under the heavy left arm armor, there is a leather strap protecting his arm from the armor's touch. Dravor's boots are also heavily armored, starting from the knee downwards. These heavy boots are accompanied by lighter, but still heavily armored thigh armor, as well as sporting a rather flight-like design to them, as if their purpose was to take to the skies.

Dravor carries with him two amulets around his neck. One, a large, ornate, blue sapphire, and the other a crystal-like black gem.

Familiar:
Familiars are a Sorcerer's companion and friend, taking the form of an animal. Summoned by a bond between the two beings, the Sorcerer can summon or desummon the Familiar at will. Familiars gain a few bonuses to the Sorcerer when summoned.

Magic Missile:
Magic Missile creates shimmering projectiles of magical force that unerringly slam into a single selected target.

Level 2:

Darkness:

Gedlee's Electic Loop:
Gedlee's Electric Loop manifests a loop of electricity that flows through all creatures in the area of effect.

Gust of Wind:

Mirror Image creates eight illusions of the user, each one indistinguishable from the real caster.

Scorching Ray:
Scorching Ray blasts enemies with three fiery rays. The rays may all be fired at a single target or split between multiple targets in an area of effect.

Lightning Bolt:
Lightning Bolt creates a bolt of electricity that reaches 100 feet from the casters hands. The bolt begins at the caster's fingertips. The lightning bolt sets fire to combustibles and can pierce objects. It can melt metals with a low melting point, such as lead, gold, copper, silver, or bronze.

Maximize spells:
Acid Splash
Ray of Frost

Level 4:
Evard's Black Tentacles:
The caster fires a dark projectile the spews forth a field of thick, rubbery tentacles to rise from the ground. When one enters the 10-foot radius, it suffers attacks from these tentacles, each capable of doing blunt damage. If any tentacle attack hits a target, the target is paralyzed by the darkness that created the tentacles.

Ice Storm:
The caster summons a head-sized ball of ice from the sky. It then falls at a rapid pace towards an area, exploding upon contact with anything solid into a large ball of ice spikes and frostbite.

Phantasmal Killer:
Upon casting, a weave of shadow flows from the caster's hands, which then appears somewhere near the target as an image of massive horror, though the target only perceives something horrible, as they actually only see a cloud of smoke. Regardless of if it scares them or not, the target then takes a large amount of damage from the cloud's magic, acting like a strike from a scythe.

Wall of Fire:
The caster summons forth a wall of fire, as big as a man and 20 feet long. The fire persists for an entire minute, magic keeping the flames lit.

Maximize spells:
Burning Hands
Magic Missile

Level 5:
Arc of Lightning:
A shot of lightning flows forth from the caster's hands. The lightning targets and arcs towards on creature, then the caster mentally picks another, weaving magic to do so. Once the first spark hits, the lightning then stretches to the other target, impacting and dealing the same damage. A line of lightning connects the two, and anything near them or in between them is shocked by further lightning stretching out to hit them, as well.

Cone of Cold:
From the caster's palms, a blast of freezing-cold magic is shot form in a cone formation. Along with this chilling blast, ice spikes erupt from any walls or floors towards the direction of the cast. The area of effect is 30 feet away from the user.

Firebrand:
After casting, 20 masses of flames appear on the outer ring of a 20-foot radius. These flames target the nearest creature, moving towards them at a rapid pace. Upon impact, these balls of flame explode in a 10-foot radius.

Greater Fireburst:
Greater Fireburst explodes in a fury of flames around the user in a 10-foot radius, engulfing everything in searing flames. The caster is unharmed, however.

Maximize spells:
Gedlee's Electric Loop
Mirror Image

Level 6:
Chain Lightning:
Chain Lightning is fired as a shot of lightning from the caster's hands. From there, in a 30-foot radius, the lightning arcs out to hit all of the targets within that area. If there are more targets within 30 feet of the newest target, then they are hit, as well, and so on and so forth. The initial target takes massive damage, as well as damage from when the lightning leaves the body. Any other targets the lightning arcs to take half as much damage.

Disintegrate:
From the tip of the pointer finger, a ray of dark magic fires forth like a bullet. Upon contact with anything, the magic simply causes it to disintegrate into a fine dust. If the target is close to death, the entire being is reduced to dust.

MordenKainen's Sword:
A powerful blade is summoned forth, wielded by an invisible hand. The floating blade fights as a loyal ally, attacking foes of the caster.

Prismatic Spray:
In a cone emanating from the caster's hand, a 30-foot ray of lights and clouds of colors fires forth. Enemies hit are subject to a random effect, such as minor fire damage, moderate acid damage, severe lightning damage, inflicted with a fatal venom, paralyzed for 10 seconds, confused for 10 seconds, struck dead instantly, or petrified.

Maximize spells:
Evard's Black Tentacles
Ice Storm
Phantasmal Killer
Wall of Fire

Level 8:
Polar Ray:
A blast from the caster's fingertips comes in the form of a cold ray, though it is no ordinary cold. As if space itself warped into a ray of freezing temperatures far below zero, the cold coming from the ray is that of space itself, amplified by magic. The ray is not just freezing from the hit, but utterly devastating, the area hit by the ray effectively acting as if there had been a month-long snowstorm on the area of effect.

Premonition:
A very rare spell, Premonition gives the caster the ability to see into the near future by a good few seconds. The ability lasts an entire hour.

Sunburst:
The caster raises their hand into the air. From the spark of magic, a small ball of light falls from the sky, as if moving at a bullet's pace. Upon impact with the ground, an explosion of 50 feet occurs, causing damage as if the area was on the sun for a split second.

Maximize spells:
Arc of Lightning
Cone of Cold
Firebrand
Greater Fireburst

Level 9:
Meteor Swarm:
A maximum-level spell, Meteor Swarm is one of the epitomes of spell feats. Meteor Swarm launches a series of 10 projectiles from the user's body in a wide arc, flying high up into the sky and then falling, all at a meteor's pace. These projectiles expand to the size of a man as they fall ever so quickly slamming down onto the ground, leaving a crater of fire and lava in their wake. The meteor also explodes violently in a 20-foot radius. The meteors all fall within a large, 60-foot radius at random locations.

Shapechange:
Shapechange allows the user to transform into various creatures. The creatures range from an axe-wielding Frost Giant, a sword-wielding Fire Giant, a horned devil with wings, a shadowy demon known as a Nightwalker, or a gigantic Iron Golem. Spells are still able to be cast when in these forms.

Summon Creature IX:
Summon Creature IX is the last in its series, able to summon large and tank-like creatures of elements and spirits. This final level summons forth the greatest of all elemental spirits, from a large tornado to a water elemental, a rapidly-changing flame elemental, or a mud-and-rock earth elemental. Each elemental is of the Ancient type, and each are immune to elemental control, as the spirits with the elements control them already.

Geas:
Geas, also known as 'Quest,' is a spell that causes the target creature to perform a task forcibly. The target is required to do the task, and will not stop until the task is completed. Removals or Breaks have no effect on Geas, and do not affect the target at all.

Etherealness:
This spell causes the user and any other body touching the user to become transported to the Ethereal Plane. This Plane is completely invisible to the Material Plane, but the Material Plane is visible inside the Ethereal. Though no action can be taken inside the Ethereal Plane that affects the Material one, any spells will still be allowed to be casted, though their effect will not apply to the Material Plane. This spell can last up to a maximum of 30 minutes.

Time Stop:
Time Stop effectively slows the flow of time for the user. Though everyone else appears to be stopped, it actually causes the user to move at an extremely fast pace. Though entities such as fire, gas, and the like can still hurt the user, the user cannot harm anyone while they are using Time Stop. This spell lasts for 15 seconds.

Prismatic Sphere:
Prismatic Sphere is an upgraded version of Prismatic Wall. Around the caster in a 10-foot radius, a large bubble appears in every direction around them, creating a perfect sphere. This sphere radiates light, and any normal enemy creature within 20 feet of the sphere is blinded for an entire hour. The sphere also appears to have colors flowing around inside of its walls. There are seven colors in total, each with their own side effects and dispels:
-Red: Prevents ranged attacks from penetrating, causes minor fire damage. Dispelled by ice damage.
-Orange: Prevents magical ranged attacks from penetrating, causes moderate acid damage. Dispelled by wind damage.
-Yellow: Stops poisons, gases, and petrification attacks, causes severe electric damage. Dispelled by disintegration.
-Green: Stops breath weapons, causes the target to become lethally poisoned. Dispelled by wall walking.
-Blue: Stops divine and mental attacks, causes target to turn to stone. Dispelled by multiple arcane damage.
-Indigo: Prevents spell damage and penetration, causes target to become insane. Dispelled by sun-based attacks.
-Violet: Destroys all energy and objects in contact with it, sends target to another Plane. Dispelled by Dispel magic.

All of the colors, if they are not dispelled beforehand, affect the target if they pass through it. Each one happens after the next, in order of the rainbow.

Gate:
Gate is a unique planar travelling spell which opens a portal to another realm. The caster can decide it's height and width, and can choose where to put both Gates. Gate cannot be used to travel somewhere in the same realm, only between realms. Any whom step through the portal is allowed through, as they do not need permission to do so. The Gate is only accessible through the front side; though both sides can see through the portal, only the front can allow entrance. Passing through the back just allows one to walk through the Gate to the front side of it. Gates are also a capturing method. When Gate is called forth, if a person or creature is selected, it will be pulled into the portal, willing or unwilling, when the Gate takes shape.

Soul Bind:
Soul Bind allows the caster to bind the soul of the recently deceased, at a limit of up to a minute. This spell traps the deceased's soul into a black gem. This action prevents the soul's original body from being resurrected or reanimated, be it from resurrect, animate dead, or even from miracles or wishes. The only way to release the soul is to smash the gem, at which the dead soul is freed, but not brought back to life.

Instant Summons:
By applying an Arcane Mark on a nonliving object, Instant Summons can be casted instantly. First, the Arcane Mark must be made on the object of choice. Then, an invisible magical word of power must be inscribed onto a sapphire gem. By speaking a certain word, or by smashing the gem, the object is instantly brought to the owner's hands. The word of power can only be spoken by the owner of the Arcane Mark. If someone has acquired the object beforehand, the object is not summoned to the caster, but the person who holds the object, and their location, is revealed to the caster, instead.
Summoned objects:
-Twilight

Wish:
Considered an ultimate spell, Wish is a spell to end all spells. Though it has quite a few restrictions, Wish allows the user to bend reality as they wish it. Wish allows casters to:
-Duplicate any spell
-Undo harmful spells, such as Insanity or Geas
-Create a nonmagical item
-Create a magical item, or add powers to such an item
-Increase the abilities of a creature permanently
-Cure injuries, both minor and severe
-Restore the dead, bringing back a destroyed body
-Revive the dead, bringing them back to life
-Transport multiple targets to any place or plane
-Undo a misfortune, effectively causing an action to redo itself

Maximize spells:
Chain Lightning
Disintegrate
Isaac's Greater Missile Storm

Another man would approach behind the first one. Though shrouded slightly by the building's inner design, something seemed, well, off. His skin was definitely Caucasian, but the upper half of his face seemed to be shrouded in some unnatural darkness, shielding his nose and up from sight. Even with advanced technology, his face would be indiscernible, as if that was his face, darkness included. A faint outline of a butler-esque moustache, however, could be seen. He bore a suit, plain and simple, with both of his hands behind his back. Grasping one hand with the other, he walked towards the other man's backside after moving out of a nearby doorway, moving to the other's left hand side. His head seemed to drift towards where the action was happening.

"Ah, it does seem that you are a bit too late to participate in the fun."

His voice was of an average quality, sounding at an age that placed him somewhere close to around 60 years of age. Though this more gruff voice, it would appear that his voice was being kept down lower, as if to only apply to the other man standing before him.

" I suppose that is just how things are....You think they'll tell us to leave? Perhaps we should involve ourselves? "

The man speaks to the new arrival with very little concern for privacy it would seem, his words quite capable of being heard by anyone within the vicinity. He casually raises his right hand, sliding it into his coat, withdrawing a cigar mere moments later from an inner pocket. Without even moving, He further addresses his apparent associate.

" Got a light? I seem to have left mine back at the office "

The older male figure would reach into his right pocket with his right hand. Grasping an object, his hand comes up and out of his pocket, revealing a silver lighter with a red-and-gold top. With a flick of his wrist, the lighter's top half opened up in the traditional way. Another flick of his thumb along the lighting wheel would cause the inner wick to light itself on fire. A slow hand moved the lighter's flame to the other's cigar, setting the tip of it alight.

Withdrawing his hand and flicking the lighter closed, the older man proceeded to put the lighter back within his right pocket, and he resumed his former position of his hands behind his back, one grasping the other.

"Well, that choice is up to you, yes? I doubt they could do anything you wouldn't want, anyway."

The Terran Guardians stormed onto the scene, gauss rifles trained at the forward as they searched for Carolina. Given that the Spartan had camouflaged herself to look just like the other marines, there was no way they could immediately tell the difference.

That said, Guardians DID have on-screen scouters that would allow them to track her energy-signature eventually. Carolina was safe for now, but not for long.

"Corner round the back!" they shouted, quickly storming out of the room.

As they left, a tall, broad man in a grey suit approached Warlock and Dravor Lash.

"Gentlemen," he implored them, "please, this is not a safe area. I insist you come with me away from all this chaos..." He smiled at them both before introducing himself. "Parliament Chairman Rubano Malijin of the Terran National Government, at your service." He bowed at the waist. "Please, follow me this way."

---

"Buckle in?!" Randin screamed. He was already holding on for dear life. How much worse could this ride get? "You need to pull over NOW!! You are performing some SERIOUS traffic violations!"

"Can't" Puma said over the loud roaring of her motor, "No brakes!" She tore down the road towards the highway at just under 300KMH. She took a turn on two wheels and nearly plowed clean into a office building had she not taken the left at 73rd street and hit the open manhole and in a heartbeat was barrelrolling down East 73rd Street towards the highway as behind them a massive explosion occured as a MAC round plowed into the pavement. "Hopefully I'll be seeing Lopez in one piece." Puma mumbled as she zoomed down the street

Carolina noticed the Marines with their weapons as they began searching the rooms in the area. She paid no heed to the new comers however. Her primary goal was to get Endless Summer and get out. But someone had to fuck up the plan and delay her. Which resulted in the completely stunned up marines standing and laying around in the hall.

'Agent Carolina, I must inform you of the chances of getting out of here unnoticed by these underprepared soldiers are decreasing at a rate of .98 with every passing minute. The scanners they possess track unknown energy sources.' Endless summer said through her internal helmet comm network

'So what else is new ? Odds ?' Carolina asked. Thankful that her armor was soundpoofed unless she wanted to speak to the other soldiers.

'Exactly 61 percent chance of being descovered by one of these marines. Even while using the Terran Battlenet, the chance is not fully decreased.' Endless Summer replied

'Using the battlenet, can that increase our chances of not being descovered ?' Carolina asked.

'In the battlenet there are orders for certain groups, they are heavily encrpyted. It may take some time to get through them. Through the Battlenet I may be able to mask our energy signature as an offical Terran energy source for their power armor.' Endless Summer said.

'Just tell me what the odds are when you're done' Carolina grumbled. She acted like one of the Marine soldiers as they checked the rooms carefully.

'Done, chances of being discovered have been lowered, our chances of being undiscovered have increased from 38 to 71 percent. Orders are jumbled for these marines. Something of a bomb set up within this building complex.' Endless Summer was a busy AI.

'Drop a NAV for me, I can disengage it. Maybe even warp it out with the teleport grenades.' Carolina said, a second later the NAV point appeared on her HUD. Perfect. Along with a countdown timer.

'Done. I have also included a countdown timer. The make and construction of the explosive device is unknown, yet it is very perimitive. I suggest teleporting the device into space, or a open area, or deep within the sea if possible.' Endless Summer was running calculations of what could occur should something go wrong.

'Not enough time to dunk it in the sea; I can however teleport it out. Until then, lets act the part of one of their soldiers.' Carolina loved it when she got to act like she was part of her enemies team. In recovering Endless Summer, those that delayed her became her tempoary enemies. They got in the way. But none of them were killed off. Just, frozen in place.

Sizing up the chairman, The Warlock simply nods his head casually, bringing his cigar up and to his lips a mere moment later. Puffing out some of the smoke, The warlock looks around one final time then back to the Chairman.

" Agreed, The rank-and-file can take care of things here. Forgive me, I've forgotten my manners. You may call me Alistair Smith. "

With that, The Warlock simply awaits to be lead elsewhere, uncaring of whether or not the Chairman would be aware of his covers status in society. This alias was a renowned capitalist, one with a questionable yet effective code of ethics when it came to business. As he waits, The Warlock steals a quick gaze at Carolina in her disguised form, an amused, spine chilling grin forming upon his face for only a brief moment. As he looks away, he ponders internally at the hilarity of the situation unfolding.

The frozen marines had begun to thaw, and the battalion was now headed towards the Office of the Prime Minister to look for a non-existent bomb. Of course, the TNG military frequency had an AI of its own, one that would eventually be able to detect the faulty orders and trace it back to its origin. Carolina, perhaps, did not have as much time as she thought she did.

Rubano, meanwhile, was leading his guests safetly down the grand hallways of the Government Center.

"You must forgive the attacks, Mr. Smith," he said, "Terra is quite an oddity of a planet, as you doubtless know. Super Saiyan showdowns and massive battle-royales are the norm, I'm afraid. We try and keep order as best we can." He looked to Warlock. "If you do not mind me asking, what are you doing here in the Government Center? Perhaps there is something I can assist you with?"
