Description

In nature, it is said, there are no straight lines and Freida is a living, swaying example of that dogma. Everything about her is curves, from the arch of her small feet to the dip and swell of her waist and bust to the light cleft in her chin. Her cheeks and lips are full and her eyes a steely grey, though their effect is softened by a heavy frame of lashes and arced eyebrows that are forever quirked in knowing irony. Her hair is parted to one side and falls in coal-black permed waves about her face, brushing her shoulders. Favouring dresses that show off her near-cartoonish figure to its metaphorical and literal fullness, she has no trouble in attracting second glances but finds it a little tricky to blend in when necessary.

History

The youngest of five siblings, Freida grew up in relative poverty in South Carolina as the daughter of a tobacco farmer. When her rural upbringing could not contain her ambition any longer, she left school at the age of sixteen and, along with her older brother, moved to Atlanta where she flitted between jobs before eventually becoming embroiled in her brother's business, acting as a hostess at a local nightclub and generally oiling the wheels of necessary 'transactions'. Men (and one or two women), came and went but she was never the type to settle down, instead painstakingly building her way towards bigger and better things as she took control of more and more of her brother's business whilst he drank through his days. It was all going so well before a certain brother and sister from New Orleans came to town...
