Mithril Sword; A light and deadly weapon in the hands of Jellicle or otherwise. Forged over a fifteen year period the silvery white weapon was designed and made only for Griddlebone to use. It is perfectly balanced for single or two handed combat and very light and razor sharp.
Elderwood staff; a self carved weapon and walking stick that also denotes her post on the Wizards Council. Gridd can also use the staff as a offensive weapon with a sword spell to make it a dual bladed sword whe nthe need arises.

Description
So begins...
Griddlebone's Story
"It must be, as far as I am aware Munkus landed in some guys kitchen. No showy effects or anything." Gridd all but yelled back over the rainfall. She gave her friend a slightly 'you're drunk aren't you ?' look before hearing a very loud building up thunder, "Look out!" Giving a quick shove forwards she all but tackled Misto as something struck the sand where they had been standing like a small bomb and a sonic boom. Thankfully the spells soundwave merely dulled their hearing for a few heartbeats before it returned to normal. Seeing the thing poking out of the sand being a black color and also a staff she said simply, "I think its for you."
Misto was laying on the ground with Griddle over him."Well I thought you liked me but aren't we moving a little fast for the relationship?" He asked teasingly. Still enjoying what was happening. Before looking to suddenly see his staff sticking out of the ground."I dunno who heard me, but thanks to them I have my staff again! And for you for knocking me out of the way so I didn't die from when it hit."
"Well, Cori and Tanto do have a good lock on the magical energies and I think they knew you'd need it, but they don't have the skill or high enough power to make the transport spell. So they may have asked Charry to do it and then they sent it through." She said, then she looked 'down' at Misto who was under her as she had indeed tackled him out of the path of his own staff, "You're welcome" She said with a quick nuzzle to him before getting to her feet and helping him to his.
He stood up with her help and quickly kissed her cheek before moving over to his staff and holding it in his hands. A mix of lightning and fire swirled around him as if the staff was hello after being gone for a long time. Misto grinned."I missed you." He whispered to it.
A slender pawlike hand went to her cheek after Misto kissed her, her ears went a pale red in first confusion, then complete outright embarassment, her wet white furred paw then masked the faint smile that graced her face. This was crazy! Misto liked her ? Well... he is cute. She thought. No stupid keep yourself together! Gridd berated herself. Now is not the time to focus on love, first thing is first and that is survival. Gridd thought. She was still shy though at the suddeness of Misto's sudden kiss. Everlasting Cat only knew for sure, but if Misto ever started to hint at her third name..... Well.... I'll have to pledge to him first, Gridd thought. And with that thought she watched her friend as the rain started to let up and slowly taper off.
Misto looked over at Griddlebone and had a big grin on his lips. Walking over to her and stopping."I um...I gotta admit something to you." He stated to her. His tail moved down and his ears flattened a bit. Not in an angry way...more in an embarrassed way. Waiting for her to respond as he was suddenly avoiding eye contact with her.
It was how he spoke that got her undevided attention, emerald green eyes locked on him and saw that he was avoiding eye contact. That and he looked. embarrassed ? Uh oh. OK something was up. "Something wrong ?" She herself had something to admit to him, but then the way he was acting made her want him to tell his side of the story first. Depending on the story as he seemed a bit.... uh.... embarrassed over shy. She still had her hand on her cheek covering her mouth, a half smile was on her face hidden by her hand. She remembered when he first came to the 'Vale a few years before when they first met. She was, quite the eye candy as Tugger said. Though she showed zero interest in the leopard
"I've um...had a crush on you for the last few years now." He stated fairly quickly and semi-quietly. Attempting to hide behind his staff in case she decided to hit him. Having had it happen when he's revealed this kind of info before. He was seriously hoping she didn't hit him. And it was true. Not just the eye candy that Tugger said she was. He was more in love with her personality and kindness. At least, kindness to him.
For long heartbeats she was quiet. So Misto liked her, that was good, though he was shy about it, but there was something in his tone. "You have not changed a bit since the first day we met. UnlikeTugger......" Yeah, now she remembered, Misto didn't stare at her at the time, he was trying to keep his focus on the other Wizards whereas Tugger was pretty much drooling in her direction. Though she took no interest in the leopard tom at all and actually liked the slightly smaller black and white tuxedo tom that had come with him. Of course she had been dismissed and told to go back to her combat casting teacher and to return if required Which meant that she was unable to meet the staff weilding tuxedo tom until that evening after dinner.
Misto smiled and looked at her."You think so?" He asked softly. One of his ears perking up. His tail wrapping around his waist."I guess the question remains....do you feel the same way?" He almost whispered the question.
"That first time I saw you I saw a really good friend. Someone I could trust with my life. I still see that friend, Sometimes I see something more. But I still see that friend." She said with a nod. "The first time I heard your voice I liked you, then as a friend, and as the years went on I started thinking more on our friendship." She nodded again, and said simply, "Yes, I feel the same way. But I never voiced my feelings because I was afraid. I was afraid of two things, of how you may have reacted at the time, and also of the Wizards and how they viewed our friendship."
"Screw what they think of us. What matters is that we feel the same way for each other." He grinned. Hugging her tight, feeling more comfortable now."So....what would you say if I asked about your third name? Or is it too soon for that?" He said, still being quiet.
She hugged him just as tightly, a low purr resonating from her throat. "Maybe it is true then. Some of the lore keepers and older wizards spoke of a pair of powerful wizards fortold a long time ago." Roughly two thousand solars ago actually. When the last Seer was even around for that matter. "Maybe that's us....." The purring stopped and her tail swatted at him as she broke the hug for a moment, "on the topic of that, for the moment, be happy I came and not Demeter." She had a smile on her face as she hugged him again. Finally she could tell her feelings for her friend to her friend!
He chuckled a bit."So...." He closed his eyes for a bit as he used a spell to dry them off since they were still drenched in rain."What should we do now?"
Finally dry again, at least not staticy dry though. "For one thing I haven't eaten since the day before Deme pleaded with me to find you guys. I'm starving, I feel like I could eat a raptordeer whole." Gridd said softly then.
"I guess you could call it that." She said after a long moment of at first confusion that turned to understanding. It took a bit of doing though. She never expected Misto to be this forthcoming. She sighed, looking around she asked "So, where to ?" The only time she had been to town was when she found where they were living off Sol Avenue.
"Hmm...well...That is a good question." He was aloof most of the time. But for some reason Griddle had this effect on him, bringing out more of his more open nature. Maybe it was just he wanted to be honest with her. Honest about everything.
Her mouth opened, then closed, finally her brain worked, "How long were you and Munkus here again ?" Come to think about it how long was a day there anyhow ? Even with the rain tapiering off and the clouds clearing up that meant a few things. Which meant two things actually, the first was that not only was the sky clearing to see out into space, but she could also see the moon. "That's not our moon." She turned back to Misto, "Ok, depending on how long you two have been here already There has got to be somewhere that has a place to eat."
