History
Halo grew up in a loving family, full of truly extraordinary people. But it all came crashing to a halt, when they were killed for their hereditary talents, when Halo was just a teen, leaving him and his twin a s the only survivors. The man found a living afterwards selling himself, and soon ended up hooked to drugs.
Once an aspiring musician, the talented guitarist decided he refused to end up refuse, and instead began to deal drugs, rather than be just another user. This being his sole income, the 20 year old, remained addicted, and though he was good, and his market wide, he didn't spend the extra money he made, choosing to live in the slums still, despite his increase in financial situation.
What was the point of leaving after all? His philosophy had changed from a happy innocent, to that of life sucks and then you die.
So begins...
Halo Zhang's Story
Halo Zhang entered the bar and took a seat at the counter immediately ordering the strongest drink he could think of. His pupils were suspiciously dilated, but he walked steady enough, so was confident no one would notice right off the bat something was wrong.
Halo Zhang glanced up at Hitachi and raised an eyebrow at the man who had set next to him. Interesting. He had a guest. "Hey." He said in greeting, sipping at his drink. The man made a slight face at the scent, but dealt with it. It wasn't that bad, jsut a different, less sweet, brand than he was used to.
Halo Zhang raised an eyebrow. "What's up?" He asked, before thinking to introduce himself. "The name is Halo by the way. and I'm not angel." He had that retort too many times to count. He hated it. Passionately.
Halo Zhang grinned slightly. "Good. I try not to." As if the leather and fishnet didn't make that perfectly clear. He looked more like he was about to go clubbing than he did like any type of angel.
Halo Zhang grinned and nodded, pulling up a sleeve and revealing the needle marks. He didn't need to say more. "Bad habits are addictive. Addictions are good." That much, he was quite convinced of, despite other's opinions.
Halo Zhang shrugged. "Better than being compeltely sober. That's what turly sucks. Then everything is...grey. Now, it's colorful, and bright." The addict smiled slightly. "Beautiful."
Halo Zhang grinned slightly. "But colorful and amazing! It's not always blurry." He had nothign to the not real part. It was true. "Besides, who wants it alway, real, huh? Real is boring, bland."
Halo Zhang snorted. 'You've done it, and you're still satisifed with the dreary sober world. Yeah. Which is why you smoke and drink.: Liar. Halo was growing unimpressed stedily. Great.
Halo Zhang raised an eyebrow. "The climb? Yeah, that's one of the best parts of the high. And heh." He looked pleased to have found another addict. "You'll have to come voer to my place sometime. We have everything."
Halo Zhang shrugged. "So learn. I'll even give you few hits for the night." that was an extraordinarily generous offer. Amazingly so. But Halo could afford it, easily. He sold the stuff after all.
Halo Zhang grinned. "I could, but you'd up naked pretty quickly." He pointed out, amused. "You'd play nice enough then, I'm sure." He was being coarse, that was for sure, but really, this was far too tempting right now.
Halo Zhang shrugged, "Hey. Gotta have something going for me." He said with a cocky grin. "Dealing only just pays my many many bills." Plus a lot, actually, but that didn't matter.
Halo Zhang thought. "I deal. I...have sex." He thought for a moment and shrugged. "I watch TV?" He offered up. Yeah. He didn't have much of a live.
Halo Zhang shrugged. "Why be special. They kill special people." He pointed out. He kept that side of him deeply hidden. Very very deeply hidden.
Halo Zhang snorted. "Yeah. I live in the slums. If you stick out, you get shot. doesn't matter if it's noticed. No one's gonna say anything." He shrugged. "It's your own fault for not keeping a low profile." He had lsot family that way. He knew.
Halo Zhang nodded. "Have fun being a sheep." He told him mockingly, knowing the other thought of him as one. Yep. a sheep, hiding from the world and following the crowd. For safety, if nothing else.
Halo Zhang laughed. "Spot? What spot! From where I'm sittign Hitachi, you look the same as everyone else on the street. skiiny, drugged up, drunk, and suffering.
