Joshua Steele's Story
The Reverence II 'Clarity of Faith' was one of the newer class of her kind. The scars of battle adorned her hull as she slowly slipped into a spot above the Vankoryth location that the Divine Shadow had dispatched them too.
The engines gave off a deafening roar, and small shafts of sunlight peered through the clouds as they were disturbed by the hulking 34 kilometer long ship, which blocked out the sunlight over the Vankoryth territories by it's own right.
As the engines began to subside, a brilliant shaft of purple light began to shine from the bottom of the ship, followed by the deployment of a massive pre-fabricated FOB Platform, this circular walled structure with prefabricated buildings and defenses would come to rest on the ground, stabilizing the gravity in the area and allowing the Reverence to maintain it's position above the area.
Admiral Steele and a small team of Aschen infantrymen armed with Type 01 'Solaris' rifles descended along the shaft of light, Steele himself was equipped with a modified Solaris rifle, capable of automatic fire.
He surveyed the surroundings just a moment, and he signalled the men to follow.

The setting changes from Verinotte Hollow to Room of Reason
The meeting would be ripped asunder by the sound of thunder, the thundering of massive engines and the sudden darkening from a massive presence in the sky.
It was as if everything began to vibrate, from a massive presence in the skies. Though, with no natural light in the room, one would have to find a window to find out precisely what was going on.

The setting changes from Room of Reason to Verinotte Hollow
Joshua Steele chuckled, as he checked the microfusion cell in the Solaris rifle, before he slid the slide forward and locked the weapon into active.
"Very simple, we burn them." He said, checking the weapon one more time. "The LDA Says this is a faction of Vampires, which is why we're carrying these new Solaris rifles as opposed to the Disruptor rifles, I'd love to see what one of these things are capable of doing to a Vampire."

Joshua Steele settled his gaze on the woman before him before he held up a copy of the letter sent to Langara. "I am looking for a Casren Bistreo, you will direct me to them immediately, as it's a matter of national security." He said, nodding to the Soldiers that surrounded him, all of them clutching their Solaris rifles, one of them seen checking the sight and the scope of the weapon.
All of the weapons seemed to give off an unsettling hue of light in this otherwise darkened hollow.
Steele turned back to his men, and then he turned back to the prefabricated base, before he turned to Commander Adams.
"The Divine Shadow has given us very specific orders. We shouldn't trust these Xenos."

Joshua Steele nodded slightly. "Our Empire was contacted by you, we're responding to that initial contact." He said, handing the letter off.
"You understand that the Empire is... apprehensive in dealing with mutants and Xenos." He said, not moving far from those surrounding him, his soldiers, all of them watching their surroundings and waiting to engage any threats that emerge.

Joshua Steele turned to his Commander, and then back to the Soldiers. "Let's make this quick, the less time I spend around Xenos the better." Steele said flatly, as he threw his weapon on his back, as it was held up by a nylon strap.

The setting changes from Verinotte Hollow to Tauvyr Tavern
Joshua Steele came through the doors to the tavern with a neutral expression on his face. Flanking him on either side was his security contingent, each of them armed with Type 01 Solaris Mk I Rifles, specialized weapons designed specifically to combat vampires.
Steele huffed as he surveyed the inside of the Tavern, and he promptly shook his head. "This is not somewhere I choose to negotiate anything." He said, gesturing for his men to follow. "Let's find somewhere suitable and find out why we were contacted."

The setting changes from Tauvyr Tavern to Cursed Wood
The Reverence continued to silently loom above the Cursed wood. Her AI was the first to pick up the strange transmission, on what was supposed to be the transmission frequency of a lost ship. The AI analyzed the signal in a split second and picked up the strange magical qualities piggybacking on the signal itself.
The AI paused and considered for a moment, before the magical essences were scrubbed and the transmission was blocked.
"The Transmission lacked a verification code, I've also detected an unknown magical anomaly within the transmission itself." She reported to Admiral Steele via a subspace communication directly into his headset.
"Audio has been quarantined and isolated for sampling with the AI Banks and under analysis."
Steele nodded and grasped his communication relay. "Analyze the signal and find it's origins. Something's not right here." He said calmly, a strange intuition tugging at his senses.
"Keep the signal isolated and contained within the AI Banks."
Thankfully, thanks to the speedy intervention of the Ship's AI and strange unknown cosmic forces, the strange audio never reached the ears of any human or Aschen, but contained within the tomb of the ship's AI banks, a potential death stopped in it's tracks by an intuitive AI.

Joshua Steele brought his gaze up to Casren as his guards checked their Solaris rifles, and Admiral Steele placed a thick file folder on the table.
"Why is it you contacted us?" He said, sliding the letter over to the other, and gesturing to it.
"Typically we don't do business with the unclean unless it's for good reason."

Casren takes a sip from his glass of wine before sliding the other one over to Admiral Steele. "You know I honestly forgot I had sent that note to you guys. How silly of me." He sits comfortably in the bar stool next to the admiral.
Joshua Steele looked to the note, then back to Casren. "I'm here for business, not pleasantries. This is a waste of my time." He said, standing up and turning to his men. "I have a garrison to run." He said, gesturing for them to escort him out. "I'll be in touch if you have something actually worth my time."
Viper pushed the door open to the tavern and looked around. The she she noticed the guards. Ok well that uniform doesn't look Terran.She thought trying to reassure herself and praying that they were not part of the TNG. She idly placed a hand on her plasma pistol as she crossed the room to take a seat at the counter. She didn't like this place too many supernatural in this city for her likes but it was a much better hideaway than Wing City.
His smug cat would have belonged better on a cat "Oh don't be like that Admiral! I would never dream of wasting your time! It's just that I find Business before pleasure to be so BORING, that I try to combine the two. Please, please have a seat!"

Joshua Steele was sitting at his desk within the dimply lit Admiral's quarters. He was silently awaiting Derek to transfer over to his vessel, a folder on his desk as he went over the information detailed by a number of CPF Personnel on what happened several nights prior.

Joshua Steele looked up to Derek a moment, and brought his hand to his chest in a salute. "I worship his shadow." He said, looking up to the doorway a moment, and then back down to Derek.
"Our Guests should be joining us shortly, I have chairs for everyone, as you can see.. Put yourself at ease and sit." He said calmly, though clearly not amused.

Joshua Steele stopped a moment, before he slowly turned back to the man. Of course his uniform wasn't in the least terran. In fact it was Aschen. With it's dark blue finish, trimmed with gold buttons and gold piping. The weapons were also clearly Aschen, and also clearly designed to fight Vampires.
He turned to Casren. "Very well.. But I won't be having a drink, I choose to stay sober."

Joshua Steele cleared his throat. "Since we're all here, we probably all understand why we're here." He said, straightening the papers before him and clearing his throat, gesturing to close the door behind them, which closed with a crystalline chime.
"Mr. Adams it's come to my attention you were arrested for disorderly conduct roughly a week ago for a bar fight." He said, bringing his eyes to the other officer. "Conduct unbecoming of an officer of this empire!" He said, raising his voice, standing up and pounding his fist on the desk.

Joshua Steele nodded slightly. "Very well, I'm assessing ten demerits to your file for conduct unbecoming of an officer." He said, stroking his pen on the file, before he turned to Casey.
"Your officer committed a far more serious offense... Chief Foster" Steele said, slightly trailing off.

Joshua Steele cleared his throat. "We're talking about an international incident, a blatant violation of the Armistice. Your officer arrested an officer of this fleet, without informing the CPF, without immediately informing the Imperial Consulate, and furthermore, without informing his chain of command. That is the makings of an international incident." He said, leaning forward and narrowing his eyes at the Officer.
"Or even Casus Bellum." He said, turning back to Casey. "But I'm willing to.. overlook this oversight of international law. If you properly discipline your officer."
