So begins...
Kakita Taminoko's Story
the doors parted, and a woman walked in, dressed in dark blue tinted yet lightweight armor berefitting a samurai-ko of some reknown. A pair of black katana were at her belt, and a silver and blue battlefan was in her left hand, she wore no helmet. Her bright green eyes stared out of a calm face. Her hair white as snow. She moved silent as a cat towards a place at the bar. "Sake" she said to the barkkep on duty as she placed a hand on the bartop.
Kakita Taminoko turned her gaze at the sound of a man spitting up a drink and then throwing said drink to the ground. With a death glare that could make even a Scorpion Spellcaster scared out of her wits, Taminoko took in the scene of Simone, the broken glass upon the floor, and the scent of Sake spilling into the floorboards. The Samurai-ko said nothing. Her gaze returned to the bar when her own drink arrived.
Kakita Taminoko watched as the barkeep brought out a second glass of Sake and set it before the short man. She took a sip of her own drink, her eyes on the other man, wondering how he would take to the drink he had requested. Apparently when Taminoko tried to pay for the her drink she was waved off. As if payment was not needed. It was slightly confusing. It was then that she heard the movement of a weapon. Her ears twitched as her eyes looked about.
made no move from her place at the bar as the Dwarf had several Sake before leaving. She was amazed such a stout man could drink so much, muchless hold it in. The Crane turned towards the bar, the on duty barkeeper, Marty, by his name tag, poured her a second Sake. And also took her order of a meal. By word of mouth apparently there was another Crane Clan member there in Wing City.

Kakita Taminoko felt eys on her, after a moment she set her cup down. two shots of Sake, strong stuff indeed. She turned then after being given a room key. Second floor. She moved away from the bar, ignoring the fight going on. her mind on how a sout man could drive seven shots of Sake and still stand.
Kakita Taminoko the door to the bar clacked open as if struck by the wind, a moment later the sounds of bloodshed were heard, another moment passed and a woman dressed in blue and silver armor, sans helmet with twin black Katana on her belt, entered the bar, she carred in one hand a bloodstained silver and blue battlefan. She headed for the bar. Once there she said to the on duty Keeper, "Sake"
Kakita Taminoko tok her place at the bar as her drink was brought forth. She found herself once more thinking about that Dwarf, and how he had managed to drink down seven shots of Sake. She heard the clatter of footsteps behind her and slowly took hold of her drink, and turned her gaze to the new arrival. Clearly by appearance alone Hayashi commanded respect. Even then the Crane Clan Duelist knew her place in front of such respect.
Kakita Taminoko smiled to herself as she heard Hayashi speak. he remined her too much of her fallen brother in law. She motioned towards Zach Randar for another glass of Sake. She watched Hayashi closely. He seemed a respectful man, an artisan perhap.
smiled, saying two words to Zach; "thank you." She too bowed ever so slightly as she took the glass from him. She turned back to watcjhing Hayashi, and when he spoke to her she mused to herself, He even sounds like Ashigo. her gaze then shifted momentarliy to Kyle as he entered. She turned back to Hayashi. He called himself Ichiro. That was Second Son's third son's name.
Kakita Taminoko saw the movement of glass hitting the floor, so near a good man. Great, and if taking on a dozen Ninja was not enough outside she had to deal with Shadowland creatures inside the place. She moved to place herself between Hayashi and the coming troubles, one hand firmly holding her glass of Sake, the other holding a bloodstained steel battlefan
Kakita Taminoko finally arrived between Hayashi and Randin Kaye, her blue tinted silvery armor held something of respect, and also something more... different, unnatural apparently. Yet she stood with something of honor between Hayashi and Randin. aimingto keep anything of harm to come to him. Something about her person alone, both blackseathed Katana at her hip, clearly a good ally to be had. White haired, clearly a samuraiko of some repute.
Kakita Taminoko kept within arms reach of Hayashi, mostly out of pure fate for all she knew. Hayashi sounded too much like her fallen brother in law, the father of Doji Kiriko, her adopted daughter, Kakita Ashigo. But when he mentioned yoral blood she wondered what that meant. Who did he mean of royal blood ?
Kakita Taminoko did not like the looks of things, and also noticed Kyle in combat with another. What had just happened ? beforel eaving, she handed something, her Sake glass, to one of the uniformed guards with Hayashi, clearly a message to him that they'd meet once more. The Kakita did not want a part of war. She had seen far too much of it just as a Duelist.

Kakita Taminoko moved only so far, staying within range of both Hayashi, but within range also of Kyle and Tabthia S Since she no longer carried her glass for Sake, she held only her now opened ste;lle silver and blue battlefan that was bloodstained. She watched the fight for a few moments, wondering if the man required help. Her gaze and full confusion were then caught in Parsons net of wanting attention. What the hell did he mean ?
Kakita Taminoko smiled as she watched Kyle handle himself. "Then it appears that you are too late, child" She said quitely, her green eyes took in the weapon. The Crane paid no heed to it after a moment. One hand went for a moment to the hilt of one of her Katana, but she only touched the hilt briefly before bringing it back to the battlefan in her other hand.
Kakita Taminoko smiled softly, she was not needed. She turned back towards Hayashi and Yukiko, the Crane was reminded from the woman of a Scorpion Courtior, she moved towards Hayashi's table
Kakita Taminoko watched the actions of hayashi, and Yukiko carefully. Things did not add up, the last Emporer that she knew of was actually the old man's wife. Empress Saiatiko, a good woman on the outside, but a venomus heart within. It was all the Crane could do save watching their beloved Rokugan fall to the vile Scorpion Clan. The Crane watched everyones movements carefully, ready to anything at a heartbeats notice
Kakita Taminoko watched the goings on between Randin, Hayashi, and Yukiko. When Yuriko spoke, and also moved her hands to halt movement beyond the Crane. Taminoko found herself inwardly thinking. Shadowlands magics ? She was slightly put off but the words they spoke, unable to comprehend the modernised Rokugani. She looked hard at Yukiko, she was indeed similar, or so the Crane at least first thought. But even then, old enemies did make habit of coming back, was that why she had come back ?
Kakita Taminoko smiled when both hayashi, and Yukiko sat down, She called to the barkeep on duty, the golden palomino anthro horseman tended and served food when asked for. he arrived at the table the three sat at. Took down one order for Sake, which was that of the Crane woman, then awaited her Majesty's request, and also His Honor, the General's drink request as well. What amused the Keeper of the bar was the langauge used when the White haired woman spoke. A very old, outdated, form of Japanese.
Marty nodded and wrote down the order, he also took down the Good Generals order and then scurried off to get the requested items.
Taminoko on the other hand was careful to not let her emotions show, invade this world ? Was somethiong going on she did not know of ? had time truly gone by so far that nothing of her world was left ?
