Current Ship Status: 100% Across the Board, Cargo Bays 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 54 in use, Cloaking and Emission Negators Active
Current Objective: Delivery (Pick Up and Drop Off):
Avera Newton Rixy was currently monitoring everything from the bridge, looking out over it all. Although he had a mysterious and unquantifiable connection to the ship that let him control it with his mind, he liked being on the bridge and felt it was easier to utilize this way at times. Additionally, as he was traveling across a large area of space, he had brought the entire Amberclad out since it was the fastest and easiest method to utilize. So he decided to be on the bridge anyways. However, since he was picking people up today, instead of wearing the sleepwear he usually did when he just spent the entire day on the ship, he was wearing some casual clothes.
They had just warped into the area. He had the ship cloaked, not because he was afraid of it getting stolen. That wasn't even realistic to humor, because Avera could store the ship in an alternate dimension easily. He just did not want to get into trouble with people.
Defending fleets usually did not like it when an Ancient Super Dreadnaught appeared in the skies near them without prior notification, or even with prior notification for that matter. And he really wanted to avoid pissing off any of the local superpowers of the galaxy, or catching their attention even, so whenever the ship was out he almost always kept it in stealth.
"Well, since I am in the area, I guess I better get the shuttle and go to pick them up...maybe we should just make the whole trip in the shuttle. If they ask how the shuttle got here so fast, I suppose I could just make the excuse I was in the area".
Avera then went to the nearest shuttle bay, running through the ship without ever hitting into any of the obstacles, scattered cargo, or maintence drones that were in the way, showing he was quite familiar with this. Dotting through a variety of various crates and such he just never bothered to put away properly, or were from the time when he was imprisoned by scientists, he was able to successfully make it to the shuttle without hitting his head on anything. He used his link to prep it on his way, so the moment he entered he deployed out in the shuttle.
Now he just had to look for their beacon, land near it, and thus he could take them wherever they were paying him to take. Avera didn't much care, so long as they paid. Even if he was a person who had morals, he also needed to eat. And he couldn't just pickpocket everyone all the time, big jobs were important.
Thus even though he was a nice person, he did not shy away from jobs like smuggling and such, and occasionally a bit worse.
As he drew closer to his goal, Cole felt a prickling feeling on the back of his neck. Anxiousness...? He couldn't tell. Either way, he was ready regardless.
She could tell that her newest charge was ratrher eager to get to this SarTara woman. "She advises you to keep an even temper, Lord Mor is not one to be trifled with. He is after all, her Emperor" Did that make her an Empress ? Nope. Just one of his many underlings in the galaxy
Again, Kakita wasnt taking any chances, at least, too many chances at that point. Once at the vessel she simply stared without blinking, her yellow ringed eyes taking in the ship. For a curiur this will have to do she thought simply.Leaning on her lightsaberpike she simply observed the pilot carefully
Of course, Avera always made sure that everything remained in good condition. Not just the main vessel, but even the shuttle was kept in the best possible condition. The maintenance bots aboard did not joke around, they were extremely thorough at repairing everything. Avera had tested it himself, and it seemed they could even repair things not originally in their programming, without the blueprint. It was a bit mysterious, but Avera was already used to it.
As the shuttle landed and allowed people to board, Avera did not quite yet speak. His atmosphere was seemingly one of casualness and silliness, but to those with exceptional senses or with force abilities, they could probably sense the darkness, rage, and training inside of him. A bright, cheerful, and casual outside, but inside...was something far beyond what normal people could be used to.
After confirming if it was just them or if there was anyone else, he finally got around to asking. "This it? Or should I expect others that are late?"
"Hello, yes. We're on the search for a one Lord Mor. This lady behind me will reveal where this man is. I believe she will be the one to direct you." With that, he paid the price he needed to and leaned staring intently to him and spoke in a whisper. "I don't trust her, and you shouldn't either. The religion she follows is built on distrust and backstabbing to gain the upperhand...listen to what she says since she's our guide, but always be cautious. Even of me..."
After this Cole returned to his normal stance, and boarded the ship. If nothing else was needed from Kakita, then to Mor they were going!
She felt Coles eyes on her, but she ignored it, she was a Sith after all. Her walking stick was ornate, yet she held it close to her at all times as she spoke. dead red eyes stared at Rixy unblinking. Ready for anything. A sith never relaxed. and sometimes she learned that the hard way as she grew up.
He then closed the doors of the shuttle once they were in, and began flying back towards the main ship he had in stealth mode as he analyzed the crystal. It appeared the direct route they wanted would take them through a nest of black holes. If it wasn't for the fact his ship was able to manipulate and isolate its gravity zones, it would probably take an extra day or two, but thankfully he had the Amberclad. However, it definently meant he had to use the Amberclad. Well, since he could control the ship directly from himself, it was fine.
"It looks like it will take about a day, provided nothing unexpected happens" he said as the shuttle suddenly docked with something they could not see. In fact, the shuttle itself was no longer visible. But as Avera got up and opened the door, revealing they were now in a hanger, the ship already showed signs of preparing to move forward towards the objective.
On an unrelated side note, the hanger looked like it was incredibly advanced, yet also old, and was massive in scale with all sorts of other craft inside, locked up and secured. There were also plenty of automated drones maintaining and working on everything, but paid the visitors no mind. Incidentally, to avoid people getting too lost, Avera had already locked most of the doors, which limited the areas they had access to but also prevented them from getting anywhere they shouldn't, and where they might get lost.
"Now all we have to hope is that nothing bothersome happens...well, if its something I can just blast out of the way, it will be fine".
"A day...? That's impressive. Me and my companions before, it'd be a day's worth of travel to get from one town to another on-foot."
He mused this out loud to the other, yet trailed off to silence once more. He figured while the journey that this...thing...was doing happened, he'd be able to rest for a bit. Prepare himself. After all, once this was done, he needed to return to Wing City. And do his business there.
"Maintain our position. I feel as if Destiny will soon be upon us!"
Mor simply watched as his men went to work awaiting for something to arrive at the edge of the system.
