Legend the Torchic

Legend is a female torchic with a fiery often immature attitude, a somewhat large ego, and a fear of the dark.

Description

Legend is a torchic, a small bipedal bird pokemon without fully formed wings. Her general body color is that of light and dark orange feathers. Her defining features compared to others of her kind are her emerald green eyes, and the fact that she wears a somewhat ragged red towel as a cape.

Personality

Legend has a somewhat feisty attitude and an ever so slightly condescending disposition towards those who cannot "burn" things, Burn being defined vaguely. It could be fire, acid, or EVEN ice attacks, so long as they have some remote quality that could be described as "burning". Regardless of her negative qualities, Legend is not prone to evil and can be subdued pretty easily with... well... logic. If someone tries to subdue her with violence she may hold grudges or actively seek revenge on those who showed her up. She would make a good team member so long as the leader had her respect.

Equipment

Legend carries a somewhat ragged red towel tied around her neck like a cape. She occasionally also has food on her person, but otherwise doesn't carry much with her.

Powers
Legend's fire attacks become more powerful as she gets weaker and more desperate. Legend is also unusually agile, and becomes increasingly faster during physical exertion, including combat.

History

Legend has spent a marginal amount of time doing minor exploration work solo, attempting to make a name for herself. However, her semi-blindness in the dark, fear of the dark, and lack of strength to compensate for lack of a team prevented her from doing much of significance. She wound up having the tendency to hang around the entrances of dungeons contemplating going inside rather than actually doing so.

Sparky procced to explain what went down at team chain. It wasent fond memorys... Luna chimed in from time to time with other useful info. They attempted to keep their cool, but remembering their parents... just made them sad. Luna then said "I can...attempt to...read the note. Doubt it will be accurate."

Legend the Torchic looked around for a moment before spotting what appeared to be a kangaskhan not too far off. She abruptly set off for the mothering pokemon. "Hey! Hey, can you read? she asked, trying to get the other pokemon's attention. She was soon succesful, and the much larger pokemon slowly made her way over.

Legend the Torchic The khangaskhan read the note out loud in a slightly sluggish voice. "Please take care of these children—My children until my return. I've departed to Nightward Caverns on a rescue mission." the khangaskhan said, quirking her brow. "...Sheesh. Nightward caverns is no place for a mother." she commented quietly before handing the note back to Luna. Legend appeared unfazed.

Luna and Sparky traded glances... they heard of this place before... Sparky was in shock "Oh no... thats not good." Luna whimpered in worry, but looked around, she saw a familiar plant. She sniffed it, smelled one of sparkys welts, then said "This plant... comes from that area. They... make their poison out of it..." She backed away from the plant and hissed at it, even though it couldn't react.

Sparky looked at Legend and explained more about how the torture worked "You see, team chain doesnt just use 9'tailed whips... they are coated in a syrum that when it gets in your body... the scars dont heal... and it just feels like you are still being whipped... Even when we rest, the pain never stops." They both cringe in major pain. Luna replied "I...would assume there was a cure... for if a poke proved strong enough... the pain could stop... but we do not know it." The pain hit them again, it never surrendered its foul grip.

Legend the Torchic The khangaskan seemed slightly perplexed. "I'm afraid not..." she responded. "Perhaps it would be best to ask Chessene. She may be able to help." she continued in a helpless tone. Legend had other plans. "I say we go find Team Chain and /make/ them give us the cure, butt kicking style!" she said with adorable confidence. The khagaskan wasnn't amused, and ust sort of silently declined to comment.
