Luna sighed and said "I would think the cure would have to come from something that ATE that plant safely, or a rival plant, but no... in fact, normal medicine can actually make it WORSE. They made it like that on purpose to stop traitors from healing the injured pokes." Sparky nodded sadly, looked outside their room, and node was no where to be seen, then added "I would try to get that chessene person, but It doesnt look like her helper is around right now"

*the plant caught fire, and a mysterious liquid came out of the plant, however, the ashes of the plant were mixed in* Luna looked at it and realized she was right "Sparky, Im not sure if you remember, but look..." The Liquid was a pink color. "This isnt the color of that poison stuff. This might just work..." She turned to the torchic and said "This will either make the pain worse, or cure it, but.. I need you to lather this stuff on our welts, as odd as that is." Sparky looked at her and winced "I dont like the idea of this, but you were their whipping favorite for some odd reason..." The last part he stated with some confusion.

Luna then realised the creature had no arms and prepared an area where they could soak in the liquid instead. They climbed in, poured the liquid in and... they looked at each other, and the welts were...gone. as if they were just illusions the whole time. the pain was gone too. The Liquid, after doing its job, simply evaporated, and a new plant of its species grew where the old one was. They stepped out and Sparky said "How did you remember that Luna?" He asked in amazement. Luna simply said "They always came back moaning in disgust anytime their fire-types burned those plants by accident. I saw this fire chicken...thing... and it just...hit me, I guess." Sparky just stared blankly at her, but simply said "Well, at least now we know the cure." He said with confidence. "We should make note of this somewhere."

"You can coutn on me to remember it!—...I think you should tell that to... um... Chessene." she continued, thoughtfully. Well, she may have been kind of puny and perhaps even a bit thick, but her heart was in the right place.
