Legend the Torchic

Legend is a female torchic with a fiery often immature attitude, a somewhat large ego, and a fear of the dark.

Description

Legend is a torchic, a small bipedal bird pokemon without fully formed wings. Her general body color is that of light and dark orange feathers. Her defining features compared to others of her kind are her emerald green eyes, and the fact that she wears a somewhat ragged red towel as a cape.

Personality

Legend has a somewhat feisty attitude and an ever so slightly condescending disposition towards those who cannot "burn" things, Burn being defined vaguely. It could be fire, acid, or EVEN ice attacks, so long as they have some remote quality that could be described as "burning". Regardless of her negative qualities, Legend is not prone to evil and can be subdued pretty easily with... well... logic. If someone tries to subdue her with violence she may hold grudges or actively seek revenge on those who showed her up. She would make a good team member so long as the leader had her respect.

Equipment

Legend carries a somewhat ragged red towel tied around her neck like a cape. She occasionally also has food on her person, but otherwise doesn't carry much with her.

Powers
Legend's fire attacks become more powerful as she gets weaker and more desperate. Legend is also unusually agile, and becomes increasingly faster during physical exertion, including combat.

History

Legend has spent a marginal amount of time doing minor exploration work solo, attempting to make a name for herself. However, her semi-blindness in the dark, fear of the dark, and lack of strength to compensate for lack of a team prevented her from doing much of significance. She wound up having the tendency to hang around the entrances of dungeons contemplating going inside rather than actually doing so.

Sparky gave her a puzzled look "But what? Not like anything could stop you with courage like that. Least I would hope not" Luna then replied "Sparky, we dont even understand this acadamys mechanics fully yet, best not to cause any issues, lets just try to grow and improve so that one day maybe we can take them on..." they both winced in pain again. Sparky then replied "I...I can only hope that 'chessene' knows how to fix this..."

Legend the Torchic seemed slightly disappointed. She declined to comment on the result, but rather looked down at her talons as if in thought with a hint of guilt. She couldn't do anything about this, but it bothered her anyway. Why, when she grew up she'd fix /all/ the things, and nobody would stop her! ...If she ever grew up, that was.

Sparky and Luna seemed to be having a bit of a private conversation without the chicken... something about trying to figure out how to change forms or something, wasent possible to tell, then sparky asked "I saw a raichu when I first came in here. How did he become like that?" Luna nodded and added "Maybe if we could figure out how, we might stand better odds down the road."

Legend the Torchic tilted her head slightly before realizing what the two were talking about. "Oh! That's evolution!" she stated, proud of herself for knowing this little factoid. The khangaskan piped up as well. "Evolution is a part of growing up. It is not something that can be easily forced." she warned.

Sparky and Luna looked at each other, they seemed to understand that even if they could evolve, they wouldn't unless the other allowed. Sparky then replied "At least there's a barrier. I would hate to become something else by accident when It wasent wanted of me by Luna." Luna simply replied "Same, but for you sparky." It wasen't clear if it was love or not, but it at least looked like a great friendship if nothing else.

Legend the Torchic took notice of this, but wasn't sure what to think. Psh... love and stuff. Definitely not as glorious as storming a dungeon. The khangaskan spoke up once again after a brief moment however. "That's right... You never have to evolve if you don't want to." she assured them. "Is this all you needed..? Don't worry too much about the others. I'm sure they'll be fine..." she continued. Although it was dangerous, the revolution had put it's full weight against the problem. Surely that was enough, right?

Luna sighed and said "I would think the cure would have to come from something that ATE that plant safely, or a rival plant, but no... in fact, normal medicine can actually make it WORSE. They made it like that on purpose to stop traitors from healing the injured pokes." Sparky nodded sadly, looked outside their room, and node was no where to be seen, then added "I would try to get that chessene person, but It doesnt look like her helper is around right now"

Luna Said "Ok, If I remember correcly... they get the syrum from this bulb part, thats specifically what CANT burn." She chops it off carefully, puts it into a metal basen, then says "Breath your fire on the plant in here." Praying her theory is correct and the chick will co-operate
