There was an abrupt cyclone forming on top of a fountain. Morning glories started to form in the twister, their bright color shining in the moon light. First they formed into a parasol and then they moved on to the wielder, a short woman with an even shorter blue dress. When the woman was materialized, the morning glories and the cyclone disappeared.

Maamoon was now standing on the surface of the water in the fountain, at first staring at the moon, and then staring at the man before her. Her teleportation spell misfired, leading her to this garden instead of the forest. Maamoon sighed, wondering why she was making so many mistakes in the past few hours, today wasn't her day. She walked over to the man and sat in front of him, her blue parasol, decorated in morning glories, shielding her from the moon's light. She had to wait fifteen minutes before she could cast her spell again, and Maamoon decided to at least sit down and relax during that time.

Maamoon stared at the man who was standing up in front of her. He had a blue scarf around his neck, and though Maamoon could not understand why, she felt the need to touch it. Maamoon tried to suppress her desires but it kept growing stronger.

“Does this pretty lady have a name?” Maamoon bit her bottom lip in frustration. The man called her pretty, now she would have difficulty attacking him to get his scarf. "I am Maamoon. And where did you get that scarf, maa?"

Maamoon saw a little white bunny hop out of the bushes, and would have thought it was cute too if it was blue. The rabbit seemed to be clean and the fur wasn't ruffled, it probably belonged to someone. Maamoon outstretched her hand so the rabbit could come to her.

Maamoon saw a girl that was bleeding fall down to the floor. When her eyes locked on Maamoon cuddling the bunny, she began to bawl, tears pouring from her big eyes. She began to scream for help, and sadness quickly overwhelmed Maamoon's heart. Maamoon rushed to scribble down a heaven circle and it emerged on the grass. When Maamoon looked up, a monk was already tending to her wounds. Maamoon's blue lips lowered in a snarl, what a waste of magic. "Maaa.." Maamoon growled impatiently. The spell she casted was actually quite powerful, and it drained a considerable amount of her energy. With an aggravated sigh, Maamoon got up from her spot and was now face to face with the guy who introduced himself as 'Val'.

"Walk with me Val, I am interested in you." Maamoon lied, she actually had interest in his scarf. She offered her hand for him to hold it and walked away from the monk and girl, leaving her heaven circle on the floor, just in case.

"Ah, monk. That rabbit might belong to the girl." Maamoon said quietly, pointing to the rabbit she left on the floor. After taking a deep breath, she breathed out slowly. "Transporter."

“So Moon what brings you to this part of town?” A white circle appeared on the floor in front of Maamoon. Maamoon stepped on it while holding Val's hand, but not bringing her with him. " The same thing that's about to bring us to the other side of town. Magic." Maamoon smiled her eyes lifting from their lazy glare and showing her white teeth. If Val decided to come with her, they would immediately teleport.

“Well it appears that we avoided a fairly sticky situation. I have seen more than one little injured girl turn into a soul stealing succubus. Although I don’t think that would really worry you.” Val said to Maamoon. And he was right, Succubus were usually naked or almost naked, and they carried no valuables. They were walking, useless, wastes.

"What is Val short for? Or is that your real name?" Maamoon said, while walking on the concrete pathway through the large garden. She raised her hand and shielded Val from the moon light with her parasol, making it slightly awkward since her free hand was holding his, requiring for her to cross her arm over her chest. So instead, Maamoon handed the parasol to Val, so he could hold it for the two of them. "And tell me about yourself. I have plenty of time on maa hands."

“Val is short for Valentine. Though you can call me which ever you prefer.” Maamoon thought about it, she liked choices. She figured she would stick with Val for now. Valentine answered her question from before, and Maamoon listened while stopping to pick up a flower. “Well there is little to know really. I am just an ordinary person, living a fairly ordinary life. Though it appears you may have changed that now.”

“How about you Moon?” Maamoon shot up when she heard her name and dropped the flower. "Maa?" Realizing that Valentine had asked her a question, she tried to remember the last words he said.

"I'm a witch. Now mind your business." Maamoon angrily lifted her hand. It began to glow and pour out little snowflakes while a biting wind was circling her palm. Maamoon was about to touch his shoulder and freeze it, but suddenly, she remembered that she was prying into his life not too long ago. With that she lowered her hand and continued walking. "I mean, I'm just a harmless nobody..Can I touch your scarf?"

“If you tell me the truth I will let you touch my scarf.” Valentine offered, a trade of information for a simple desire. Maamoon snarled at Valentine, though he was taller than her, she felt the need to step on him. Now she really wanted to attack him and just keep the scarf for herself. What would he need it for anyway? Blue was best for her!

"Could we not just fight for your scarf?"

“Very well if you wish to fight for my scarf I will fight you. Though know this I would rather die than give it up.” Maamoon let go of Valentine's hands and jumped away. "Then you shall."

Maamoon held up her hand and her parasol materialized in it. A little tired from teleporting and releasing a potent heavens circle, she resorted to physical attacks. After transforming it, Maamoon now wielded a long barrel blue shotgun. Without hesistation, she fired and the knock back caused her to almost fall down. "Ma!" Maamoon shouted while regaining her footing.

Maamoon cursed when she saw that Valentine had already dodged her attack by ducking to the floor. No sooner had he hit the floor, was he charging right at her. He grabbed her waist and Maamoon thought that he was trying to attack her in some other way before she realized the surprise his physical touch held.

"Maaa!" Maamoon felt terrible jolts coming from her waist, where Valentine was grabbing her. She used her shotgun as leverage and pushed away from him, grasping her waist that was still tingling. "Ordinary guy maa ass! You give me that damned scarf Valentine!" Maamoon yelled, changing her shotgun in a blue shield. She wasn't going to get close to Valentine anymore.

"Fire!" A large blue flame enveloped Maamoon's palm, and then was shot out towards Valentine.

“You want my scarf yet you just attempted to destroy it?” Maamoon realized her mistake only when Valentine shouted it out to her. She cursed as she saw him approaching her again. Now transforming her shield back into a parasol, she started to run away. Barely making out words, she chanted an wind spell that was strong enough to send her several feet in the air.

"I hate you Valentine! Just give me the scarf! I'll pay you or do whatever you want!" Maamoon shouted below, most of her attacks involved attacking the general target, so she couldn't figure out a way to hurt him without damaging the scarf either. Maybe while she was floating in the air, could she catch her breath and think about one, but at the moment, she was at a standstill.

While caught up in thinking of a spell, Maamoon did not notice a rope like projectile aimed at her until it was too close to do anything about it. Maamoon saw the silver rope that was so doused in electrical energy that it was actually giving off sparks, and was immediately terrified. Just a small tap of the necklace sent her body into violent convulsions. Her teeth were clenched and tears were forming out of the corner of her eyes. And the pain was burning, it felt like white hot coals trying to force itself into her skin.

"Maa.." Maamoon cried weakly, the jolts seemed to go on forever, causing her to involuntarily twitch. Finally, it stopped, and so did Maamoon's magic. Maamoon was falling with her front facing the ground, so she could see Valentine running towards her through her tear-blurred vision. She also saw his scarf, trailing behind him, wonderfully. The scarf screamed her name, the blue color, the wonderful tatters at the end, the seemingly smooth texture, the scarf should have no owner but Maamoon. Realizing that most of her muscles were turned to mush, Maamoon stared at the hard floor with her solid blue eyes. Her parasol was falling after her, she had long let go when her hands lost feeling, but now Maamoon wished she had it in her possession.

"Teleport" Maamoon whispered, her eyes starting to close. Though she was throbbing in pain, she still had some magical energy in her, which did not require physical prowess. A large white circle appeared in the air, a few feet above the ground. Maamoon refused to let Valentine touch her again, and with the very last essence of magical energy, she coated herself with protective magic. If anyone tried to touch her, it would only burn them.

Maamoon woke up shaking, she had some residue jitters still wrecking her nerves. She was on the floor in the gardens, a little upset that her powers couldn't take her further away. She panicked, realizing her left hand was empty. She got up and looked for her parasol, which was right at her feet. Snatching it from the ground she shielded her face from the sunlight. When she tried to think about the scarf from last night, her whole body convulsed and she had a taste of the white hot pain from before.

Not yet wanting to get up, she stayed down on her side, staring at the rose bush. Using her most frequently executed spell, she chanted a simple 'Maamoon' and the roses turned into a dark blue.

Maamoon heard movement from behind her. A part of her wanted to just lay and rest, but she knew that she could never leave her back open. Quite lazily, Maamoon rolled to the other side of her body and spotted Valentine. When she saw his blue scarf trailing in the wind, her stomach turned. Maamoon shot up to her feet and ran to a bush with red roses (the bush with blue roses would be too sacred) to empty her stomach.

Maamoon came to the realization that her pain and memory of the scarf became synchronized, and though she would normally be heartbroken over the loss of such a wonderful scarf, she now detested it. She also wanted payback, now she was free to go all out on Valentine since she was fully recuperated and saved from the scarf's evil temptation.

But, Maamoon could not, it would be a waste. She wanted her magic to fulfill her material desires, not sate her profitless emotions. Vengeance didn't give her all the morning glories in the world, and vengeance surely will not waste her magic. And so, she wiped her mouth and stood up to her full height. With a pompous twirl of her parasol, she turned to face Valentine.

“Have you finally decided it wasn’t worth it to die for my scarf?”

Maamoon raised her left eyebrow at Valentine and at the same time raised her parasol. "Let me clarify Valentine." Maamoon raised her right hand and a blue aura trailed behind it. "Maamoon may die by the green fever and the wonderful blue..." She chanted, while tracing a giant blue heart in the air, "But Maamoon would never die by you." With that Maamoon made a blue arrow and shot it through her blue heart, both disappearing after the impact.

"Now, I have to bathe. Are you going to watch over the area while I jump into a lake?" Maamoon turned while heading towards Wing City Lake. She paused, a devious smile creeping on her lips. "Or would you rather bathe with Maamoon? I couldn't hurt you..Water conducts electricity..."

While slowly walking on the pathway, Maamoon noticed that Valentine decided to come with her.

“Maamoon you said something about a green fever. What exactly is that?” Valentine asked, as if he really didn't know.

"Green fever is money, maa. It is the best spell Maamoon could ask for. Though it shouldn't be green, of course. And what do you mean safely on land? You think Maamoon is too ugly to bathe with hmm?" Maamoon teased. Valentine called her pretty twice, so she did not feel as though he was ugly in his eyes. Valentine denied because he did not trust her, which made Maamoon giggle. She wouldn't trust herself either. But there's no reason to not try and pressure him anyway.

Maamoon sighed, Valentine was adamant about not getting in with her. But she was glad that he decided to stay. She enjoyed company, and though she loved her parasol, it did not talk back to her. She slid off her dress and boyshorts, shortly followed by her sandals. She walked over to Valentine and handed him her parasol so he could have some shade from the sun light.

"Here you go. Maa'll be out in a minute." Maamoon kissed the top of his head, a sneaky way to smell his blue hair. Maamoon did not desire hair, she had enough blue hair of her own, but Valentine's was such a lovely hue that she decided she would indulge in it, just for a second.
