The HDS Pegasus. The transporter of weapons or any other sort of cargo. With over seventeen kilometers of cubic space, was filled with the latest cargo bound for The Space station of Hisaol, far above the great city. The ships slowly moved forward, the creaks of the old armour slowly getting louder as the ship came to a slow stop, it would take another fourteen hours before they came to a halt but that was fine with most of them. There would be able to take in the views of the gas clouds far around the planet, along with the space stations of various companies.
The fourteen mile long ship was almost the size of a Groalsi Battleship, very much like the one her Captain, Obersturmbannführer Adolf Landers used to command. The man himself was a myth throughout the Cybran Merchant fleet, able to deliver goods from one side of the nation to the other in a matter of days. And with this new ship, the cargo could go in a matter of hours. He was claimed to be the best captain of a ship throughout the Cybran Nation but his days were back in the Waffen FS. He had kept his rank for a few years after but was at the stage were he couldn't care anymore.

*Aboard the transporter*

Adolf swallowed, kicking his legs up onto the command desk of the old robotic control unit of the old starship. His eyes watched the way the planets moved slowly but also had a keen eye on the Navy Vessels, coming out of the starport. There was this way, the feeling of loneliness aboard this ship but he had another person to talk to. But it was more of a computer than a person. Normally a small game of Cybran eight level chess would be in order, but this was a time were a game of chess was real. The Navy was already moving ships around in the local area but the warp engines were sitting as they were slowing down, unlike the Nazy.

The few other ships around the Star port were clearly civilian with name plates on the side of the ship, a lot like seafaring ships. But this was space, not on liquids. Adolf sniffed, watching the control screen closely but held his small control wheel as he turned down the brakes, getting to a suitable speed of which the spacecraft would come to a halt.

Military Resource Meeting,
Room 432,
Hisoal Building,
North side,
Griasfrask,
Casgrax II

"When do we move the new Sector system into effect in this area?" Admiral of the Battlefleet Reiter, Nicole Reinhardt snapped, staring out the window as she stood next the the dirty thing. It needed cleaned, as did some of the staff in this building; Well actually, in this room, a few could do with a shower, of blasting. She turned around in her smart light blue uniform, boots gleaming in the dim light room as she glanced around at each of the members at the table, "This is something we need to do now. We have these new Nations appearing at our door, and sooner or later, they will end up attacking us. We need to get Parliament to give us more funding for new fighters and battleships, as well as tanks and weapons. We have to do something now before that something happens."

She blinked, turning back around to look over the city of Griasfrask, her left hand twitching, a common thing for her when she was in a meeting like this. She had every reason it express her feelings to this Military board. It would then be taken up in the next mass Parliament, but that wouldn't matter if the enemy that was sitting at the Cybran Nation's boarders attacked. They would be forced to fight back with the full might of the Cybran Nation. Pulling her hair into the neat bun again, she swallowed, pointing to the computer screen showing simulations of any fighting that would take place, "We have sat here long ago talking about this and nothing has been done. We need to take it up in Parliament, understand?"

Admiral Therodore Starship nodded, putting his data sheet on the table. "The new sector system is being put into effect at the end of the month, Ma'am. There is a mass group of new Dreadnoughts being built, the Rhineland Class. They will have new weapons systems and weaponry as well as all the other things that we need to create a force of Dreadnoughts, but they will be deployed in the groups and Battlefleets they are needed in." The battle hardened Admiral stated as he rubbed his forehead. Sitting down in his seat, he looked at the other members of the board, whom, just simply nodded in agreement. His right hand moved down into his jacket pocket, pulling out a small box of tablets, for the sharp pain now hitting his head. The box was soon set on the table as he moved his hands to pull the metal tray out and popped a tablet into his mouth.

He swallowed the pill, watching the rest of the table carefully, “Unless the Waffen FS want to provide something to help the ever pending situation?” He eyes went straight to Supreme Commander Ingualt Rooseavet, sitting smartly in his black uniform, without saying a word throughout the meeting.

“I suppose it can happen, the Fourth FS fleet has just came out of repairs, the HDS Nichtjager will be ready and moved towards the border within a few days, the repairs are not fully complete and the ship needs a major uplift in terms of technology and weapon systems. There is not a lot I can do in order to speed this process up,” He paused for a second, his left hand wrapping around the icy cold glass of water. “I am willing to prepare the forty-eighth Waffen FS fleet into position, along with the One-thousand-and-fourth tank division onto the local battlestation, which I believe is also being upgraded in these times of peace, if the Peace goes on for much longer all the Military and fighting forces will be degraded. “

Rooseavet got to his feet sipping the glass of cold water, “Unless we prove that we still need this military force, we will be made redundant.” His eyes glanced over to Reinhardt before back down to the glass. He shook it around to mix the last of the ice and the water, “We could attack one of the smaller Nations in the outer systems of the galaxy. We could claim they attacked us, then we have the right to make a full scale invasion; yes?”

The lights flickered as another member spoke up, General Notterburg, “That would show them, but the other way to do this is by making explosions on the closest planets to parliament, then the Government will have to give up more supplies.”

“Why are we talking about this?” Snapped a younger military economist, Adolf Nighdale, “We have enough money and enough weaponry to force any nation to its knees. We would have enough money in three Cybran Years to update the forces we have. It is not all about numbers, and if it is, we would still win any battle. Our men and women are well trained and well equipped. We don’t need to add more money into the mass forces. All we have to do is pour it into research, which we can see going on around us right now. This planet is the most scientific planet within most of the Cybran Nation. It is all just a matter of updating the forces we have; yes?”

Reinhardt snapped around, nodding, “For once I think I have heard a good idea. The Navy needs to update and install new technology into the ships, not create wave after wave of new ships. The Rhineland class should be the last of the dreadnoughts that we build, even though we do have enough resources in the Industrial planets to build thousands more; do we not?” She smiled, rubbing his eyebrow as she moved forwards towards the table, watching the other members with a close eye. ‘This might work,’ she thought to herself, smirking. “Yes, I say it is time we done this.”

Rooseavet swallowed, “I will do the same with the Waffen FS, this should be very interesting to see the end result.”

Lillian listened, looking around the room. It was true, troubled times had descended on them from nowhere. Most didn't know, the citizenry wasn't entirely aware it was certain. Even if everyone was blindfolded, someone still had to turn on a light. Scribbling in her notebook, Lillian continued to listen.

Her dark uniform wasn't a reflection of these times, but a simple and humbling reminder to place duty and honor first. Lillian was always prim and neat, never fidgeting, always straight backed. Somehow she wasn't as much a tight wad as some. Still, truths had been spoken. Lillian crossed and recrossed her legs at the thought of war. Though war was good for the economy, that was about all it was good for. Nobody else seemed to think this way, which is why she supposed she was here. As the Senior MP of the Cybran High Council, her opinion was valued and respected. Though she sat quietly, under the radar with a poker face, Lillian's mind whirled.

So much weaponry... Lillian only nodded once, in acknowledgement not agreement, as the Admiral spoke. They were gearing up for war it seemed, was it all necessary? They were speaking of planted attacks, of true battle. Lillian frowned from where she was. They were at risk it was certain, but they did themselves no good by sticking themselves in the radar like they were planning on doing!

Suddenly, someone spoke up. A military economist? Speaking of updating and enhancing instead of expanding, research...Lillian nodded.

"Update, improve," Lillian folded her hands on the table before her, "A sound plan if any." She nodded, leaning back before continuing on.

"How is the citizenry receiving these movements?" Lillian asked the room. It was then Supreme Commander entered and crossed to her. She swallowed her surprise.

"Yes?"

The Supreme Commander swallowed, holding his head, "The Civilians, always a point for the Cybran High Council to stop our plans." He snapped, looking up at Lillian. Was there a point in having a member of the High Council here? Yes; she may be a member but to him that didn't mean anything. He was military leader, one that was not meant to be held back by a High Council Member. His eyes glanced to the rest of the military leaders, as well as the economist and Alexander Wulan - another member of the High Council. Rooseavet himself knew that they would probably try and tell the High Council to pay them off, something none of them wanted. "The Civilians receive enough money as it is, starting a war would boost the fecking economy."

Reinhardt looked over at him, "Ingualt, please." She leaned back against the wall, hoping for some reason to get him out the room. "What was that you were talking about the other day? A mass space station? Other Nations?"

She swallowed, holding her leather gloved hands together, "I'm sure there was something you said about other nations and some peace conference?"

"What? You want to trade with other Nations? We can not do that." Rooseavet snapped, "You were there yourself with the encounters with that small ship. You took it to that battlestation. Where was the logic in that?"

Alexander Wulan sighed, looking over at Lillian, "The point in us being here?"

"Peace conference?" Lillian chirped up.

It was all fine and dandy that they wanted to play defense and weapon. She saw no real harm in that, and let them spend their money where they would. However, turning down an opportunity for a peace conference why even a grunt would see the benefits!

"A peace conference would be the wisest of options, as well as this military upgrade and other defensive re positioning of," She waved a hand, meaning to say all the words she didn't know how to say. Lillian looked from Alexander to Roosavet, keeping her gaze steady.

Rooseavet swallowed, looking over at her, "It is far too late to get a small cruiser across into another galaxy, to go to this. I don't want us to turn up late with just a singer cruiser to show us off. We will look like complete idiots. No, I could try and get trade with the people of Mezz but we do not have an understand of how the people in the other galaxies work, which is why I'm not willing to send anything over until we have a trade link with the people of the system of Mezz. Even trying to deploy forces from the Battlestation Raven Herz would reach it far too late."

Alexander nodded carefully, "I see your point, but that does not mean we could show up with the finest ships in the whole Navy. It does not matter if you are late to appear at a meeting, we could receive an understanding and set up trade links with the other Nations." He smiled softly, lifting his bottle of water to his lips.

The Military Economist nodded, "That would create a way of giving away far outdated weapons to another Nation, in return for resources to upgrade the Military power that we already have. The Civilians would be able to work and maybe go on holidays outside the Nation's borders."

General Notterburg, the old man that he was shook his head in disbelief, "You are willing to create alliances with Nations that could just use us? Look at the wars with the Aeon and UEF, we did something about that before, creating alliances. They failed."

Obersturmführer Adolf Feynman swallowed, watching the others calmly with his eyes fixed calmly on the prize, his veins on his right hand stuck out while they did not on his left hand. The thick recycled air blasted through the vents with a sweet light smell, one that the engineers must have put into the systems only within the last few hours. His cobalt eyes glancing between the other members of the senior Waffen FS detachment to the Battlefleet Hydra sat down at the conference table, with the hologram of the ships slowly moving carefully. His eyes were sharp and pin point, against his pale skin, almost as white as chalk. His cap was hung up on the coat hanger, above his coat, and the black uniform that he was wore was pressed and ready for anything, with a mass use of Starch to keep the single creases fresh.

The piece of chewing gum was getting painful to chew on, with no taste in the thing at all. He grunted, slowly stepping over the the bin and spat the piece into the empty bin. He was aware he was being watched by the others as he cracked his fingers after standing to his full height. His boots clicked, as he turned around, waiting for the meeting to stand as he held his head closely into his hand.

Four months before the Chemias attack,
Military Exercise in the Casgrax System.

HDS Citadel,
4 AU away from Casgrax IV

"Sir, HDS Fireblade is readying to start the exercise, they estimate around fifteen minutes before we can start. The fleet is ready." The Commander of the Comms told the Admiral. He looked over at the Admiral, his bionic eye glazing with a red glare while the Admiral just nodded simply. "Your orders?"

"Set up comms with Los Vantues and set up comms with each ship in the fleet. I want a display down in the map room of every ship and every commander. This operation is not something to be taken likely. I want all the dummies loaded before we start. I don't want live rounds to be fired until I say so. We must get the target before they get ours, simple." The Admiral smirked, standing up from the command throne before turning and walked off towards the map room, taking his headset with him. To him, this was just one big Military exercise testing the tactics of both Admirals and the ground forces before anything actually kicked off.

With a hiss the doors shut after the Admiral and the Commander nodded slowly, "Set that up. But I want the Carriers and Dreadnoughts to be ready before we go on the offensive. Which means get them ready now."

"Sir." Came the call over the comms officer of the ship, typing into the keyboard extremely quickly.

Map room.

The Admiral smiled softly, watching all the displays show the Commanders of each of the ships while the map table showed the board of play; Casgrax.

He rubbed his cleanly shaven face with a soft grin, "Are they ready yet?"

"Yes." came the reply from the commander from the HDS Drachen II.

"Start exercise. Move all units towards Casgrax III with a carrier and one dreadnought holding back. Hang out of sight for now while the planet's cannons get ready. Then we will go on the full attack. Have the carrier and the Dreadnought to start to look like it's a hive of activity. They'll never know what's hit them."

Just 1 day before the military exercise in the Casgrax system...
Eden
Coriault
Sinq Laison
Inaya II - High Planetary Orbit

"Eden Inhibitor Control this is CONCORD DED vessel CV117 requesting a straight shot to transmitted coordinates. I am sending the authorization codes.", the pilot transmitted as a bright yellow sun crested Inaya's horizon. Nearly a full minute passed before a reply came. "CV117 we are offlining system inhibitors on your route. Please standby.", the reply came. Another minute passed. "CV117 your window is open for 10 micron. Stay on course. Alloway.", replied Eden Inhibitor Control. "Alloway.", answered back the pilot as the Drift class corvette started to move.

He pressed his will to the ship and she aligned away from the planet. EGO, Environmental Guardian Online was busy running calculations and plotting possible problems with the route while the warp core spooled up. Metallic plates shifted across the ship's hull. Outside of the frigate that had yet to be destroyed on Terra this was one of the fastest ships that Ayenee or Eden could cough up. A warp field shimmered as the ship lurched forward and in a flash vanished from the pristine view of Inaya II's rising sun.

The pilot's eyes were closed. He was suspended in fluid and linked directly to the ship. Within his mind's eye he was watching a HUD as the ship's speed climbed at a blistering rate. Just how fast was the fastest ship of Ayenee? Light travels at a constant speed and in the vacuum of space. That speed is 299,792,458 meters per second. It takes the light of SOL about 8 minutes and 17 seconds to reach Terra just so you can fathom the impossible speed of CV117. By interstellar and especially intergalactic standards the speed of light is a snail's pace. The pilot's HUD did not display factors of warp. The pilot's HUD displayed AU, the distance between SOL and Terra per second and within the first minute the display was climbing over three hundred. An AU just so happened to be the same distance between Inaya II and her parent star. The number continued to climb. Just in that moment it surpassed 400 AU per second, nearly 199,602 times the speed of light. That is still the speed of a tortoise when forging across the vast distances of intergalactic space.

They had yet to make it out of the galaxy as the ship bored right through a star and then a jovian planet, a giant hot Jupitor like world dancing too close to its sun and being torn apart. Neither star, nor planet, nor ship felt the sting and failed to even notice. 'Prepare phase drive.', the pilot thought and the ship and EGO responded with readings and a count down across his HUD. 'Your corridor is still clear.', EGO relayed directly into his head. 'Drift.', the pilot thought and the ship, visible to those within the warp field faded and shimmered until their was nearly nothing left. The ship was scrapping the border of phase space between individual universes within the multiverse, the 5th dimension and accelerated to a speed that made the former impossible speed seem like a leisurely walk in a park. The ship rocketed into intergalactic space at a relative velocity of nearly 600 light years per second, 37,944,646.3 AU per second. It would still take slightly less than one day to reach the Casgrax system, which was just a bit more distant than 800,000 LY away.

Day of the exercise...
Casgrax System

A ship exited warp on grid with HDS Citadel and broadcasted a hail as metallic plates shifted around her hull. It was CV117. "This is CV117 requesting audience. We are diplomatic. Please accept this information packet transmitted on FTL channel 1010.1010.", the pilot relayed across commonly used channels. The one kilometer tall hull slowed to a stop as its engines spooled down.

HDS Citadel,
Map room

As the Admiral and his commanders pushed their fleet into their area they were tasked to defend, CV117 came out of the warp. The entire exercise stopped, after mere seconds, transmissions being made between all the ships. The weaponry on the planets kept warm just in case. The Admiral spoke into the transmission towards CV117, using the Channel used by all Cybran ships, which was off the commonly used channels. These were Cybrans. They had had no contact with the outside Multiverse away from their Galaxy. "Incoming ship, you are in a Cybran Military area of operation. We request your ID and for you to tell us why you are here. We will fire at will if this request is not accepted within the next fourteen minutes."

The transmission cut and the Admiral turned to the commanders linked into the map room. "This could prove interesting." He turned and looked onto the map board, where the ship was and where all the Cybran ships were.

Casgrax System
The HDS Citadel moved slowly towards CV117, the hundred mile long vessel slowly moved with a nimble movements using it's engines. It sat about the Northern area of Casgrax IV, like a protector while the fourteen mile tall vessel which was also around twenty miles wide stared at the ship. The entire fleet were changing from their training rounds to live ones, the laser batteries getting power from the ion engines.

The number of fighters launched was growing, mainly to protect from any threat that could come from this vessel. The Cybrans were unsure, and were ready to fight to protect this system and all the others around it. It was impossible for any ship using any dimension to get into the core systems without going through spot checks.

As they ships moved into their final vector points, the HDS Drachen II spoke up on a private channel to the HDS Citadel, "HDS Citadel, this is HDS Drachen II, we believe this new ship is using a different channel than any Cybran ship uses. "Requesting permission to hack systems and hunt for the channel? Drones are already ready to go."

"Copy that HDS Drachen II, permission granted. Find the channel."

The pilot repeated his transmission across commonly used channels. EGO picked up HDS Citadel's transmission and rebroadcast a third time across that channel. "Alloway. This is CV117 requesting audience. We are diplomatic. Please accept this information packet transmitted on FTL channel 1010.1010." FTL channels were extremely secure. Light glinted off the corvette hull as a few of its hull plates shifted around. The ship did not appear to take any hostile action.

The HDS Citadel watched the ship before the comms officer moved to the FTL channel that had been requested, the other Capital ship, HDS Gojira II pushed it's way over, transmissions going on private channels between all the ships and smaller fighters. The group bases were starting to calm down their weapons but a number of them had kept their weapons warm, younger commanders wanting to use the weapons.

The information packet contained general information about the Varden including the location of Ayenee and Eden but no specifics regarding their capability. A few minutes passed. "We are carrying a diplomatic envoy. May we dock?", the pilot transmitted. If the pilot was aware or cared about the numerous weapon systems ready to fire upon him he did not show concern.

The Cybran fighters went out to lead the pilot into the correct docking bay on board HDS Citadel. There was a massive of activity onboard the ship, Navy Marines, and Waffen FFS personnel ready with weapons when the lander came down. The Cybran High command had received the packet after it had been sent from HDS Citadel to the Cybran High command building for this sector of CNS.

The corvette allowed itself to be guided and turned sideways from its previous vertical orientation before deploying landing gear. This ship was small compared to the ship in which it docked but still huge compared to a single man. Time passed after it sat down and surely the bay would begin to fill with military personnel. In time a circular section detached itself from the underbelly of the craft and descended to the deck. Upon this railed circular device stood five figures. Four of the figures were in some type of power armor, their faces hidden behind helmets. Two of the armor individuals had a female shape. They did carry weapons but those weapons were not in their hands. The last man was in a military uniform.

Once the circular pad touched down on the deck they disembarked. Subtle movements of the two men and two women behind the uniformed man spoke to the fact that they were taking in their surroundings. "Alloway", the man said as he raised his right hand, palm out, at chest level.

The Admiral watched the five figures come down from the railed circular device. The Waffen FFS stock troops stood there in their own form of power armour, standing them at at least eight feet tall. The Admiral is in combat uniform, a black and grey digital pattern. He had his beret on, watching the figures while the Waffen FFS marines went to move forwards. He held his hand to the left, stopping them. "Nein, noch nicht. Wir warten, bis sie mit dem, was sie wollen, zu kommen."

"Aber Sir ... Wir müssen sie nach Waffen zu überprüfen." One spoked with a metallic groan because of his metal voice box.

"Sie können in einem zweiten zu tun." He snapped at them before walking forwards slowly.

For someone who had not spoken the language before this moment and didn't even know what it was called, Arlan did the best he could. EGO assisted him. "Grüße. Wir haben Waffen, aber wenn wir sie nutzen wollten wir bereits getan haben", he said very slowly. "Ich frage mich, ob ich das richtig verstanden habe...", he commented to himself before looking over his shoulder to his left and right. One of the women in the power armor glanced at him and returned to slowly looking about the docking bay. "Gut genug?", Arlan said as his eyes returned to the man who walked slowly in their direction.

"Ja, übergeben Sie bitte Ihre Waffen, bevor Sie näher zu kommen. Meine Freunde hier würden Sie töten, wenn sie die Waffen zu sehen, weshalb für die Sicherheit würden Sie ihnen am besten die Übergabe oder sie sie wieder auf unserem Schiff. Wir werden dir nicht wehtun." The Admiral smiled, looking at the FFS shock troops.

Arlan turned away from the Admiral and motioned with his hands to his own people. "Faigh ar ais ar an long mo chairde. Beidh mé ag labhairt leo ina n-aonar. Más rud é in aghaidh an seans nach féidir liom a thabhairt ar ais a fhios agat cad atá le déanamh", he said. The people in the power armor seemed to hesitate. "Beidh mé go breá. Geallaim duit", he spoke to them again.

They bowed slightly and clenched their right fists before pressing them to their hearts and returning to the pad. The pad then took off and rejoined the ship they had previously disembarked from. Admiral Arlan turned back to the Cybran Admiral. "Wie ich gesagt hatte, wenn wir uns, Ihnen zu schaden wollten wir bereits getan haben, aber wir werden dies tun, wenn es Sie fühlen sich wohler. Ich heiße Admiral Aaric Arlan ein Varden. Ich bin gekommen, um erste Kontakte zu knüpfen. Wir hoffen, dass dies ein friedliches Treffen", he said and then raised his hands to turn slowly. "Ich mit mir trage keine Waffe, die ich mir vorstellen kann entwaffnet warden", he stated before he lowered his arms.

The Cybran Admiral nodded and smiled softly, offering a hand, "Admiral Lindemann, Leiter der Militär diesem Cybrans Übung. Willkommen auf der Cybran Nation. Wir haben keinen Kontakt mit anderen Personen außerhalb dieser Galaxie für Millionen von Jahren. Wir kamen einst von einem Planeten weit weg. Wir haben noch nie ging zurück." He smiled.

The FFS commander walked over in his power armour, looking at the Admirals and saluted the Cybran, "Sir, wir haben die andere Flotte wollte wissen, was los ist."
