Appearance:
Shai is a mature appearing young woman, less in lines or aging of her face, and more in her eyes and the general air of wisdom about her. This comes from her upbringing as the daughter of a priestess, who taught her to stay composed always - in preparation for her becoming a priestess, as all religious men and women 'should' (in her mistress' opinion) maintain composure so as not to frighten the other members of the clan. Her hair is short and black in colour, though it was originally a sun-kissed brown, and she keeps it tied up in a clip for ease whilst flying. Her eyes give off a slight silver glow, and her skin is of average tone. Her clothing is that of a priestess, despite her ascension to the role of Na'vin.

Personality:
Shai is a calm and benevolent person, who rather than using her powers purely to fight in the war, also uses them to help with more everyday things, such as gathering wood and other materials with the use of her wind manipulation. She will not hesitate to help someone in need, and will show mercy on the battlefield - but is by no means hesitant in employing her powers to kill. She is very zealous, and believes in the righteousness of the war above all, due to her priestess upbringing.

- General athleticism, capable in hand-to-hand combat.
- Weapon/Mount Summon -- calling her staff or polearm to her in a bolt of lightning, and her mount to her via a whistle.

- Mount; a Pteraptor, a reptilian winged beast with vicious teeth in its extended snout that resembles that of raptors, and leathery wings that resemble pterodactyls (or 'rhamphorynchoid pterosaurs' according to dino), as well as long whip-like tails. They are the most agile creatures in the sky for their large size, but are positively useless on the ground. Named Syl.

Brief History:
Shai is the daughter of a priestess of the Sky Clan and a father from the Water Clan she never knew. Her mother used to tell her stories about how her father was a powerful warrior, who had come to the Sky Clan's home on the highest peaks of the mountain to join a warband striking deep into the Earth Clan's territory. Though the band returned triumphant, her father had already split from it to return to his clan, much to the pregnant priestess' dismay. Throughout her early life she was brought up with the full intent of being a priestess when she was of age, but the mark of Nai showed itself on her when she was but seven, directing her destiny to be one of the Na'vin.
Throughout her training, she always attempted to sneak off back to the temple and into her old classes - she didn't want to be a Na'vin, she wanted to be a priestess - but in time the combined efforts of her mother and her mentor convinced her that to fight as a Na'vin was to spread the message of Nai and enact her will, simply in a different way. Upon completing her training and becoming a fully fledged Na'vin, she took to wing and travelled between the villages of the Water and Air clans, inspiring them and giving them a figurehead that the other Na'vin did not provide to the people as a whole, only to the warriors. As such, she is the most well known of the Sky and Water Na'vin amongst the general populace of the clans, and spend a lot of her time traveling. She's been known to make trips even as far as Losenji to spread good will to outsiders there in the name of Nai.
