Personality
Tends to put up the 'player' attitude with anyone he meets, it keeps it simple, it repels those who want something serious and attracts those who just want a fling. Underneath the player mask he hides a more serious character, one who never rests, he has the tendency to look at people like objects, are they armed? Can they fight? How do they move? Can I use them?
Shin likes to play chess and other strategic games, he also likes to read books about everything and nothing, he knows that knowledge is power and the fact that he is well read really attracts some women. Shin has a love for alcohol and smoking, not only because it makes him relax, but also because bars and places where they sell alcohol is a good way to meet women or other people. Shin loves his 'father' above all else and looks up to him as any son would. Shin also loves to just sit and watch people and see how they act and try to imagine what they think, what their pasts are and what they want in life.

History
Shin was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he got everything he pointed at, but was never really happy. When the other kids used to play outside Shin would be inside with several private teachers, he hated it, he could only gaze out at all the other children playing outside, having fun. Shin was a very quiet kid, he understood that he had to live up to his parents expectations. As he started to reach his teens he was already a well taught child, manners, etiquette had been beaten into him as a child. His father was a very strict man who treasured the family name over all else, which was why Shin in the end gave it up.
As Shin turned 16 he witnessed yet another one of his family's grand parties, rich and powerful people all over, but no one of them were real, they were always smiling and laughing, but Shin had learned from a young age that they were all fake. Despite this Shin continued to uphold his parent's wishes. His mother was of royal blood and thus acted like a queen, the downside was that she never once showed Shin that she loved him. She would often yell and scold Shin if he called her 'mom', he was going to use her title and name. Which caused Shin to look at his mother rather as a object rather than a person, in his eyes, he didn't have a mother.
But at one certain party he was introduced to a certain man, he was well dressed and well taught, but he wasn't afraid to say what he wanted, he would tell several women he didn't like people who hid behind a fake smile. Of course people got upset, but for some reason they never told him to leave. Shin was intrigued and finally mustered up the courage to talk to the man, from that conversation Shin's entire look on life changed.
On Shin's 18th birthday he was granted his wish, to live by himself and make something out of himself, he had completed college and had a degree in human psychology. The party went on, the people brought gifts, smiled and congratulated him. But in the end Shin stood all alone, it wasn't a party for him, it was a party to show how rich his family was. He hated his life and had thought about ending it several times, but at that moment the same man he had met when he was 16 came up to him. His clothing was completely different, he even wore a straw hat, his smirk plastered on his face, his stature and confidence baffled Shin. "Become my son, live without regrets and live each day to the fullest" he said stern. Shin had no idea how to react to such a proposal and before he could think of an answer he has answered, yes.
Thus began a new chapter in Shin's life, he was introduced to a new world, a world where people didn't hide behind masks. Of course Shin looked up to the man who had taken him under his wing and wanted to become like him. And as fate would have it, he got his wish in the end, he joined the same agency and started his training. A full year of endless training, strength training, stamina, mental and spiritual, after one year he was accepted to choose a program where he would put his skills to the test. Shin wanted to become a hunter, like his 'father', but his talent lied elsewhere. Shin became a 'Deceiver'. Not maybe the most popular branch, but by far the most dangerous and difficult. Shin was broken down mentally, he was to forget all he had ever learned about people, he needed to see them as objects, people could be seduced, bribed, tortured and killed for the greater cause or for the sake of the mission. All the missions were undercover and if they were caught, they would be killed, Shin quickly proved to be quite skilled in seducing women, gaining information and more. His first mission was supervised by his father, he had to seduce a female politician who stood on the wrong side in the agencies opinion. Shin used all he had been taught and completed his mission, he then witnessed his first murder. The woman wouldn't change sides and was thus 'replaced' with someone who would, Shin could only gaze at the woman whom he had seduced and slept with being killed. Her blood gushed out of her throat as an assassin killed her right in front of him, he then understood that people would kill and hurt others to get what they wanted. Shin then talked with his father who actually was regretting letting Shin join that branch. True that branch was looked down upon and despised, but there were so few who could do it, Shin decided there and then he would stick with it, he had been all his life in the limelight, he didn't fit in there, but maybe in the darkest pit of the world, he would figure out who he really was. Shin soon became the 'Deceiver' branch's greatest agent. Hiding behind a mask, behind enemy lines, all alone with no one to help him, he completed every mission he was given.
As Shin turned 23 he was approached by his father whom he hadn't seen in two years, about a new project, the agency was trying to create a super soldier. If Shin volunteered he could perhaps join another branch, his father wanted Shin to do this, in the two years he had been gone Shin had dove deep into the dark abyss of the underworld, he was a changed man. Shin gave his approval and thus began the transformation, the scientist forcefully implanted a healing factor into his body and almost caused Shin to die, it was later revealed that his father had given him some of his blood in the small chance that it would save him. With the healing factor in place Shin could be further experimented on, but before that could even begin the small amount of blood from his father went haywire.
The black blood invaded his body and changed him, he grew several inches and gained several pounds of muscle. This also almost led to his death as his heightened metabolism started to feed of his body, the scientist forced a tube down Shin's throat and had to feed his body through liquids. The whole ordeal took several months as Shin just lay there, his hair changed to a darker tone and his corner teeth grew slightly, his blue eyes turned into a darker blue with a black iris around it. His father demanded to know what was going on and soon got the answer, Shin was a distant relative, without his father's knowledge Shin was a descendant from his own bloodline, which was why he had been the only one to survive a blood transfusion between the two. Shin awoke during the night and ripped out the tube in his throat and all the wires connected to him, as he gazed into the mirror a completely different person stared back.
Shin had improved beyond what any human could ever dream of, he was stronger, faster and more durable, he had also gained heightened senses. He was put into a special group with other people like him, they formed a group which were called: Reapers.
Their missions were simple, but brutal, but Shin hadn't gone far from his previous position, he was the one who got the undercover jobs, the one who gained the intelligence needed to complete the mission. During the two years Shin was in that group he did many things which he isn't proud of, he encountered many people from around the world and even other species. Shin had been thankful for the training he had gone through, he had always been able to stay below the radar of any opposing groups, all of his missions were verbal only, not a single document existed of him. His father had also trained him in the art of staying low, he didn't use his real name, never used anything which could be traced, never did anything to stand out. It had all been perfect, until he was betrayed by someone in his own squad, they had been bought out and were now planning on taking out his entire squad, unfortunately those three were the most powerful ones. When Shin's father and some of the other hunters arrived on the battlefield it was already over. Corpses lay everywhere, ripped to pieces or blown to chunks of what used to be a person, some were barely alive, but they were few. It was clear that some other agency had barged in on the fight. Shin's father searched through the corpses and found Shin under a large man, Shin had done a suicide attack, being impaled through his chest to kill his opponent. He was still alive...
Shin awoke in a hospital bed with his father sitting there smoking, he was then told what had happened, it didn't matter to Shin, betrayal wasn't anything new, but he had to admit, he thought he could trust those guys. It was a hard learned lesson, but a lesson which stayed with him for a long time. When Shin had recovered he learned that his father had left the agency, he was ordered to bring him back at all costs, Shin accepted the mission, but after seeing how the agency treated the those who left he decided to leave himself. He used the mission as an excuse to leave and then went dark, he met with his father and they decided to just leave it at that, Shin went his own way, he turned into a mercenary which he thought suited him.
In present time Shin is busy doing work all over the world, he stays on earth rather than to travel the universe like his father, he goes from one woman to the other, never staying too long in the same place. Unlike the safe and protected home he had been raised in, he now lives in a warzone, always running and hiding, but unlike many people, Shin thinks it suits him...

Shin's Story

walks in and sees the people in the bar, they tension in the bar was heavy as he opens the door and lets some hot air out, he then sighs as he put a chewing gum in his mouth. "My...I thought the bar was a place for meeting beautiful women, chatting with your friends and have a good time. Fighting is to be done on the battlefield" he points out with a sigh. He then closes the door and makes his way towards the bar. He sits down and smiled gently at the bar maid. "Hey, mind if I have some old Italian red wine?" he asks gently with a smile. He did get why some fought in a bar, it was just because they were too scared to actually go to a battlefield, he himself had never been in a fight in a bar. "While the men fight I take their women, so I ask you, who comes out on top of that?" he says to no one particular. He takes the red wine and sips from it gently, it was good wine.

"Why not?" he smiles. "She's good company, better than most of the women I've dated. It's good, dancing is a good way to meet women" he points out as he smiles, he then looks at all the wounded people and shakes his head. "This is a bar, not a hospital" he points out as he sips from his wine glass. "Now, the next lesson is nice talking. Tell her your name, smile and always look at her, not her body parts. Ask her name, now however...if she tells you her name then it's a jackpot, that means she wants to talk, but she can say no. That means: try harder or get lost. You have to read the mood, but that comes in time, by trying and failing" he smiles.

looks at Don with a smile. "Well...that also depends...Let's try asking" he says as he looks at Hellshine. "Excuse me, can you come over here?" he asks gently. He then continues to sip. "Don't expect women to like whiskey and such, that's rare and those women are bad to the bone. Not that it's a bad thing, sometimes a dominant woman is just what you need" he smiles as he pats Don on the head.

smiles at her. "I'm sorry, not right now, but I could use your help, that is if you could share your opinion with me. I was wondering, what kind of drink do you like? Or...if you don't drink, what do you think is the most desired drink among women?" he asks curious as he smiles at her gently. "You don't have to answer if you think my questions are too personal of course. And I'm sorry to take your time, it's just that, it's a little important" he smiles again.

nods in gratitude. "Thank you, my name is Shin, if you remember it after your shift is over that is" he laughs gently. "But tell me, what is your favourite drink? If I'm not too bold to ask" he says gently as he looks into her eyes for a few seconds, it wasn't that he was interested, but he couldn't like about him not being it either, Shin loved all beautiful women after all.

looks at Don and slaps him on the back playfully. "Hey...We didn't come here to get me a girl, but yeah, you could put it that way, but...In my defence she wasn't...um...delicate enough. I don't like women who drink a whole bottle of vodka" he says truthfully. "I'm more into the other barmaid who was here the other day, she was something I could see myself on top of" he smiles.

follows Don and shakes his head. "Hey, they are either loose or just stuck up, the women who are worth looking at are either married, which doesn't stop me or something else. I'm telling you, the age of women are over, here comes the prudes!" Shin said back as he sat down with Don by the bar. "And hey, I started dating long before you could even shoot straight. I'm just saying...women aren't women anymore, they are girls with mental issues, if I had know this would happen I would have frozen down a harem" he laughs gently. "Give me some bourbon please" he says simply.

looks around. "Someone worth looking at huh? You got a mirror?" he jokes lightly. "Besides...women are like delicate flowers, no one is the same, so why smell the same flower for the rest of your life when you have an entire garden to smell at?" he explains as he sips from his drink. "What about you? You don't have a girlfriend either! You shouldn't judge me" he points out as he looks offended.

laughs as he slaps the counter hard. "You sly brat, you're actually offending me while making it sound cool, but I always washed off, except a few times when I didn't have time, but that only happened..." he thinks about it. "Six times!" he defended while looking away. "Hey, let's have a contest, um...it has to be a funny one, it's our night out after all. Hey, let's make a deal, we compete on who gets a woman and the one who looses has to...um...I got it! The one who looses has to drink Jintei's her mixture" he smiles.

smiles, but then turns shocked as Don runs off to a beautiful woman. "Damn, I can't loose. Last time I had to drink that I spent hours in the toilet!" he says as he thinks back with pain. "That sneaky little devil" he growls as he looks around. "Damn, there are no women here..." he says as he slams his head on the counter. Then he hears Don being rejected and sighs relieved. "Thank god...I have to call it off..."

freezes. "Oh no... I have to go! Behave yourself, don't do anything stupid" he says as he runs out off the bar and calls his chopper with his phone and runs into the dark towards the fields where the chopper usually lands.

walks in and shakes his head smiling. "You shouldn't drink that much" he points out as he helps Don up and carries him over to the bar and puts him in a chair as he laughs gently. "And yes, I saw her, she was beautiful, but you should be more careful about women, she would have eaten you alive" he points out as he sits down and looks around. "I see a lot of potential now" he smiles as he orders a glass of whiskey. "So...what are you going to do now that you've been promoted to a desk job?" he asks curious.

walks in and shakes his head smiling. "You shouldn't drink that much" he points out as he helps Don up and carries him over to the bar and puts him in a chair as he laughs gently. "And yes, I saw her, she was beautiful, but you should be more careful about women, she would have eaten you alive" he points out as he sits down and looks around. "I see a lot of potential now" he smiles as he orders a glass of whiskey. "So...what are you going to do now that you've been promoted to a desk job?" he asks curious.

laughs gently as he holds Don close. "Yeah, I know, don't tell your old man or he's going to kill me" he laughs as he pushes Don away and sips his drink. "Man...I should take you home, but since this is a celebration of your promotion. I'll let it slide" he smiles as he looks around, many people had seemed to vanish. He liked it..."Peace and quiet" he sighs pleased.

laughs gently and holds his hand up and excuses him. "Sorry, he just got promoted, he needs to let out some steam" he says kindly as he sips from his drink. "Your father loves you, he was like a father to me as well. He's like the pillar we all hang onto aren't we? When things are bad we turn to him and he makes it better. That's the kind of man Jintei is..." he says as he holds his glass up and takes a large swig. "I don't know where I would be without him" he says truthfully.

"Hey, that was mean" he says. "But most likely yes" he laughs as he holds his hands in front of his face. "I'm never drinking with you again Don, I'm getting drunk as well. You should try drinking your old man under the table, not a good idea" he points out as he smiles. "I have never been so drunk or had such a hangover since that night, he was in fine shape. Me? Not so good" he admits.

sits by the bar and smiles to himself, he knew Don wouldn't wake up with a hangover due to his advanced healing, but still. He sipped from his glass of whiskey and looked around with a curious look. He wanted to talk to someone, just talk be it male of female. His work was so distracting, he needed some time off. He sighs as he looks at his glass of whiskey and sips from it, he was bored, which wasn't such a good thing.

stood up and walks over to Alexa and sits down with her. "You want to know about Jintei?" he asks curious. He had heard her asking about him yesterday, this of course interested him deeply. "I can get him here if you want" he says truthfully as he looks at her with a smile. "But you have to do something for me then" he says serious.

looks at her with a smile, he then ruffles her hair and smiles. "You promise to smile to me the next time we meet" he says as he stands up and calls a number. "It's me, you have to get to Gambit's bar, it's important" he simply says as he hangs up and looks at Alexa with a gentle smile and leans in and kisses her forehead. "He's coming princess, just you hang in there" he says as he walks out off the bar and heads towards a limousine, the sjy turns dark as a dark flame arises from the ground and Jintei stands there.
