Race: Human
Nationality: Lósényǔ
Place of Birth: Tianshi City

Skin Tone: Light tan
Eye Color: Yellow

Height: 5'11"

Appearance: Tal is a bit tall, with dark hair and an athletic build. Not much is known about Tal. With a rather androgynous appearance, doubled with the rugged cowl and various hats or face masks they wear, no one even knows Tal's gender. Some have been able to guess, but they were most likely wrong. A long cloak is usually found draping down their back. It is probably never the same one twice. Below their right eye is a tattoo. It is an old, traditional form of a Losenyu character. Tal wears tough boots that lace up to their knee and baggy pants and a baggier shirt that folds over.

-Pots, pans, herbs, flint and tinder, cured meat, food, maps

A stranger came into Gambit's. Not that it was an unusual occurrence, no. Strangers came into Gambit's all the time of every shape and walks of life. This one was barely any different. With a teal cloak over their shoulders and a black cowl hiding their face from the nose down, the tall figure walked toward the counter, glancing at the empty bar with sharp yellow eyes. A rugged, leather backpack sat upon their shoulders, and a hat, similar to a straw kasa, sat upon their head.

With a sigh, the weary traveler sat upon a stool, heavy boots shuffling on the ground. They stared at the touch-screen menu in confusion.

The cloaked traveler peered at the boy to their right, blinking those green eyes curiously. Some kind of suit enveloped him. What in the world was that? The figure rose their hand, sticking out a finger to point at them.

"Ah..."

What? Well, that was unexpected. To be called a woman. However, the figure did not mind so much past tilting their head to the side. "Nothing." they said. However, the traveler's eyes did not leave the man in the suit at all. How strange it was.

"What is...that?" They held out a hand, palm flat, and gestured to the whole suit. The voice of the figure was indistinguishable between a woman's and a man's.

The cloaked person raised a brow, which hid itself underneath the kasa. "Enviro suit?" they asked. Well, what was the deal with that? Was this another country that indulged in technology? That would not fare well for them. the traveler was more used to...other things. Simpler things.

The stranger blinked.

"I suppose." they answered, turning back to the touch-screen menu. Oh, how did you use one of these? Why did technology have to be such an ass to use?

With a sigh, they looked back to the young boy. "Your name?" Might as well pass the time with small talk.

They held out a hand. "Likewise. I am Tal." they said, eyes scrolling along Joeseph's face. "No need to pay. I just need to learn how to use these things. Mighty confusing. I just want a glass of water for now." They pulled an empty canteen from their bag and shook it.

Empty.

"Thank you," they said, shaking their hand with a strong, firm grip before watching the water slide to them. "Oh, delightful. I haven't had anything to drink in...quite a while. Traveling here took a little while."

They took the jug and, without a thought, uncapped it and began to down it.

"Oh, really? You must have some neat stories to tell," they said, wiping water from the edge of their mouth as it trickled down their chin. They tilted it over to pour the rest into the canteen. Precious, precious water.

"You travel Terra a lot?"

Tal seemed amused. "Really? That's quite unfortunate, but rather interesting. I've had quite a few risky encounters myself. Especially since coming to Terra. The most recent in the snowy peaks. There's some kind of... Sasquatch or something up there. I couldn't tell. I just ran as much as I could."

Tal was slightly taken aback, but more curious than ever as they saw the implants. "Might you be...a cyborg?" they asked, eyes darting from the arm to his face. "I've met only one before. A woman with a leg made of metal."

"Transformation?"

More questions, and that was because Tal was curious. This was the reason they traveled, of course. To meet new people. See new things. Learn about the various other worlds and the way in which they worked.

"Ah, I see." Human. Tal knew a bit about the human race, and was often confused to be one, they knew. They were not so different. That is why they were able to travel on Earth as long as they had and avoid any strange looks.

As Joseph disappeared, Tal looked around. "Very impressive."

"You could say that." replied Tal. "Though one is unique in your own way, despite implants, in my belief. It is the person, not the body, that gives someone their own special touch."

This, Tal had learned from immersing themselves in so many different cultures.

"Exactly," Tal said to Joseph. Underneath the cowl, they smiled. The lifting of their cheeks might have let Joseph know.

As someone else cam in, Tal turned their head to meet them, eyes blinking for a moment as they looked at the pistol. A hand disappeared within their cloak, reaching for a piece of paper with writing along it: a talisman.

Tal's eyes followed Ghoul's movements, the talisman tucked safely between the fingers of the wary traveler. A shielding charm. If it were possible to get it out before he shot even one round, then no bullet would enter Tal's body.

Turning back to Joseph after an unsettling silence, Tal sighed. "Where have you been to at all? You must have lots of stories to tell."

Tal lowered their head. "Yes, well, one never can be too cautious. I'm surprised you could tell by my demeanor." The traveler turned toward the counter, watching Joseph once more as he ordered.

So...ordering was actually simple. Tal raised a finger to tap something in. It worked.

Tal was absolutely amazed.

"All around, ah? Like?"

"Oh. I believe hell is the...Earthen underworld, yes?" asked Tal, nodding. "I heard it is terrifying. I have yet to be at an underworld before. I prefer the higher worlds, or the middle earth's. Caves, however...caves are rather interesting." they told Joseph. Green eyes came to his face as the gasmask slid off. Ah. So that was what he looked like.

Tal, however, was not so keen on drawing down the cowl.

"Sounds rather contradictory to the tales I have been told about that underworld," said Tal. Perhaps there were more earth's than first thought. Perhaps the earth he went to was a little less harsh than the others. Underworld lords were not usually the kindest.

"You do not like angels?"

Tal's eyes came down to the counter. How crude this kid was.

"I see." they responded, tone flat and apathetic. That seemed like a rather bad reason to kill someone. Even a divine being. Usually those were held in high place. Ah, but it seemed that Tal had stayed a bit long. The sun had sunk well below the horizon, and the traveler was weary. Incredibly so.

"I'm sorry, if you can excuse me, I'm going to rent out a hotel upstairs and lay myself to rest. It has been a goo month or so since I've slept in a bed." Tal tipped the kasa to Joseph, then walked off upstairs. "Thank you for the conversation. Really."

A stranger came into Gambit's from upstairs. Not that it was an unusual occurrence, no. Strangers came into Gambit's all the time of every shape and walks of life. This one was barely any different. With a teal cloak over their shoulders and a black cowl hiding their face from the nose down, the tall figure walked toward the counter, glancing at the bar with sharp yellow eyes.

Sitting down at the counter, Tal glanced at the touch-screen menu's again. Third day. Ugh. What was so wrong with a flesh-and-blood bartender? Lordy Lou.

Trying to figure it out one last time, Tal tapped the screen.

Oh.

Wait, wait, wait.

What did they just order?
