Context: Sci-Fi OC
Name: Thea Blumenthal
Sex: Female
Species: Human/Cyborg
Sexual Orientation: Not sure
Relationship Status: Single
Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius
Height: 5'9''
Weight: 244 lbs
Physical Condition: Excellent
Eye Colour: Brown

Personality

Thea is rather haughty, and can come across as such when she's not being anti-social. She does have a tendency to not actively seek the companionship of others, and will often spend quite some time in her house, working on things. She seems to live for technology.

Equipment

  • Thea has a plasma assault rifle as her weapon of choice. She has also been known to use a plasma shotgun on occasion. Both her weapons run on an internal power source, which depletes within say, ten seconds when using her weapons on full auto.
  • Thea has a jetpack on her back. It uses an internal fuel source that depletes within say, seven seconds, but recharges very quickly when not in use. Unfortunately this is the same fuel source her guns work on.
  • Thea generally carries around kits to build various kinds of miniature turrets which are generally meant for area security. There are different categories of turrets she can create, including but not limited to: a basic gun turret, a gatling gun turret, a rocket turret, a flamethrower turret, with detection areas of anywhere between 90 and 360 degrees depending on the turret.
  • Thea can also build automated attack drones, which generally are machines no bigger than a dog that fly around and do various things. They can be built to scout out areas, and even attack with various weaponry.
  • Thea can build a forcefield in either a wall or dome shape, which will stop ranged fire of any kind, but will not stop someone from walking through it. The shields will of course, break after an extended period of fire.
  • Lastly but not least, she can assemble a medical station that can, to a limited degree, heal those in it's direct proximity utilizing nanobot technology, and build a power station that can be set to provide power for all nearby robots, weapons, or otherwise. The power station also effects Thea's weapons and jetpack.
  • She does well with computers, pretty darn well.
  • Thea has a third robotic arm attached to her shoulder, which can fire a concentrated repair beam at nearby mechanics she has built. Sadly, it is very selective what this beam can fix outside what she herself has built.

History

Thea was created, literally in a test tube, as supposed to born. During the very late part of her creation, however, she was essentially kidnapped by a team of cyborg soldiers not all that unlike herself. It turns out that some of the fine tuning wasn't completed at the time of her release, namely brainwashing, perhaps a deliberate move on their part. Unfortunately, the team that rescued her did not make it out of the facility alive, being killed by the facility's heavy defenses while she was still attempting to wake up from stasis. However, it turns out their actual mission was to rescue her, so a woman that wasn't present on the mission, but was overseeing it, established an audio connection with Thea through which she managed to guide her out. There were of course, weapons and armor laying around. For a long time, Thea fought in a war where her skills were put to use against a dystopian government, the same government who had been attempting to brainwash her to use for their own purposes. Said government had most control over her world, and wanted more, but she was part of a resistance force dedicated to fighting for freedom. However, that's over now, and she now spends her days attempting to "retire".

So begins...

Jack Daniels woke up on the ship, and looked around. The ship had crashed, on some hostile world. He began making his way towards the door of the room he was in, but then, as soon as it opened, a Necromorph attacked. He shot it twice, one in each leg, so it began crawling, but he shot it 4 more times. He then looked, and saw more damage in the next room. He also found some stasis pods, and the power appeared to still be on. As he went over to the pod controls, he could hear more Necromorphs at the door, trying to break in. They would take awhile, but he was trapped inside. There were however several equipment lockers, likely for the others in the stasis pods, so he used the Emergency Release Activation on them, to open the pods. he needed the help. It was unlikely they were all full, but he had to hope someone might get into a stasis pod to stay alive. Jack was only alive because he had decided to test out his armor and make sure it still works.

Now, hopefully he could get out of here alive with whatever survivors were left. There could be more throughout the ship.

Thea Blumenthal grimaced as consciousness returned to her. The glow of plasma emanated from the more transparent portions of her equipment and she slowly got out of her stasis chamber, a resounding clank emitting from the boots of her rather skintight suit of light armor. Judging by the third mechanical arm jutting out of her back and over her shoulder one could presume she worked with technology or mechanics in some way. The first thing she did was skeptically take in Jack's figure.

Jack Daniels looked at Thea. Other then her, one other soldier also came out. But she was more interesting. Clearly an engineer. The robotic arm was different, he hasn't seen someone with that before. However, before he could actually access the other soldier, he heard something moving in the vents above him. A Necromorph jumped down out of the vents and onto the soldier, killing him, and then charged at Jack. Jack quickly shot it in the legs, and an arm, killing it.

"SO, you want the long story or the short one? Name is Jack by the way" he managed to get in, as more Necromorphs pounded on the one door out.

Thea cringed and drew back a bit as some sort of abomination attacked them. She seemed to mutter something under her breath and responded by pulling out what appeared to be a compact pulse rifle. The smaller rifle glowed dimly with plasma much like certain other areas of her body. She held it in a ready position and moved forward. "I don't need an explanation. We've crashed. We're surrounded by hostiles." she said with a slight air of confidence. Her voice was young and moderately feminine, but her tone suggested she had fought before and was at least moderately unimpressed.

Jack Daniels looked around, in case any more decided to come through the door, and then went over to the soldier. He picked up his Rifle, which shot compressed plasma shots, with an incendiary grenade launcher attached under it. He also took the ammo. "All right. Well, the only way out of this room is through that door. Which sounds like it has a shitload of enemies outside of it. Your an engineer, right? Are there any maintenance tunnels we can go through? Or some sort of large explosives? I doubt this grenade launcher will be enough to be effective".

Thats when another one busted in. He shot a grenade into it, and it exploded, causing his limbs to go flying and burn. It was guaranteed to be dead. "And not to point out hte obvious, but we need to hurry and figure out what to do. That door is blocked, and the other one leads into a storage area with no way out..."

The concussive bow-wave of gravity crashed violently into the surrounding region as the escort fleet exited warp into the designated warp-in point over Terra. The fleet held formation around the transports as the increased intensity of the solar wind buffeted their shields, making sure to provide a stiff deterrence against any would-be threat.

Initiate sensor recalibration and move to sustain orbit theta. Signal to surface upon confirmation.
commanded Stark.

Roger that. Moving to orbit theta,
replied the navigation officer as the fleet instantaneously acknowledged the flagship's relayed signals.
...and initializing continuous calibration sequence zero niner gamma. All systems reporting nominal.

The Ark-class vessels the fleet was escorting were of a special breed; not only were they the successor to the extraordinarily well-decorated Providence-class, but Sol Enterprises had taken particular care to upfit their assets with the latest technologies developed by the trans-galactic powerhouse of Research and Design. Between the incredibly talented scientists working tirelessly on pushing the boundaries of science and the military experience of its preferential compositors, the Sol empire undeniably led the charge in setting the trends of innovation. These incredibly unique vessels—the fleet aside—were no exception.

Confirm systems nominal, ensign?
inquired Stark as he rose from the captain's char. He wanted to be certain there were no mistakes made with this operation, or the blemish on his record would forever mar what would be an otherwise flawless career. The glint of light in his eye might have been a reflection of the dawn rising over Terra, or perhaps a glimpse of his aspirations, but no… no. He was not one to let his mind wander.

Aye, commander. The Oijanen, Hentogaira, and Akhrad all report systems nominal.

This was not the ensign's first foray with the commander, and his awareness of the situation was acute. The two had been on the Kreios deployment before participating in the Luminaire contingent, and he had turned down his most recent promotion simply to protect the opportunity to work under Stark's command once more. His interpretation of Stark's inquiry was an anticipatory example of this, and the hint of a smile on Stark's face confirmed his pleasure.

Awfully prescient of you to stop by, Gaius.

The comms erupted with Arcus' greeting as he appeared on-screen. The backdrop was dark, but you could just make out the outline of the Wing City skyline as the rising sun illuminated it from behind.

I couldn't wait any longer for a vacation, you know.
he chided in return, folding his hands behind his back. The smirk erupted into a smile, as it had been far too long since he'd had the pleasure of Arcus' amusing personality.

...and a good vacation it will be. Welcome back, Stark. Arcus out.
came the curt response as the transmission terminated. Not much needed to be said, everyone knew what needed to be done. The hardest part of the journey was over, and now they waited.

Stark made his way towards the massive viewport at the front of the bridge and stared outward at the dead of space. The vibrant blue orb that hung nakedly in the dark was his sole focus; a precious thing to behold, and a reminder of the delicate nature of politics. He reflected on the impact his actions would have, and the gravity of the circumstances ahead. The future of the entire region—perhaps even this galaxy itself—hung in the balance between success and failure.

Break formation. Hirodu to exit point echo delta and detachment gamma to Lagrange Luna Two. Broadcast emergency rendezvous point lambda six to the fleet, and instruct them to enter defensive pattern echo bravo. Reinforcement points for escort group Caladbolg Lagrange Sol four and five; and make sure they confirm those orders. All stations ready, we've got a rough ride ahead.

The fleet was responsive; the Hirodu aligned to a distal point and vanished, a detachment of battlecruisers and frigates broke off and began making their way towards Terra's solitary moon, and the spherical formation transitioned into one that placed the combat vessels into the lanes of travel between the massive bodies of the system.

Stark wasn't entirely certain it would play out as Arcus had planned.

Is everything okay out there? Do you need a terrestrial assist?
he asked inquisitively.

Outside of orbit around the planet Terra.

A medium-sized ship, shaped like a triangle with a blunted end, moves slowly towards Terra and the space station above it. The shape and size of this ship may have been seen before, but this one in particular has never been witnessed by any Terran, or as a matter of fact, any species or beings besides the ones who had made it. If they were able to trace it's origins, then it would point to an unexplored area known generally as RA-619, and even more specifically the Glendathu system. The doesn't seem to be armed, and a scan for life would only turn up three humanoid beings.

The ship made no advances of any sort towards the planet or the station, and seemed to just be there. Watching. Peaceful, it seemed, and the crew had no intentions of attacking. But they were truly awestruck. In front of them was a culture, a sophisticated one, unseen to any of their people, and they didn't know how to feel about it. They were just awaiting orders at this point.

Jay Null shrugged and closed the comms. The traffic in the Terran orbital was bustling as usual, an economic boom brought on by the prolonged period of peace. Alas, he knew the endless waltz of history, and had work to do.

Tapping a few buttons on his console, he maneuvered down towards Wing City Spaceport, leaving a faint thruster trail in his wake.

What's this, another Gundam?

Meanwhile, a Gundam truly had breached the atmosphere and entered Terra's lower orbit, coming from Wing City. It was an old AEU-09 AEU Enact Space Type from long ago. As it ascended, it transformed into it's space-faring flight mode shape.

The name of the Gundam was Sol Senshi- and nobody was supposed to be operating it. It had been refurbished for unknown to the public purposes and locked down, hiding in plain sight in Wing City Spaceport.

Who was even operating it?

Whoever they were, they were certainly a criminal now.
