Thea is an ex-soldier engineer. She is highly skilled in her craft, and enjoys the engineering aspect long after her tenure ended
Thea is rather haughty, and can come across as such when she's not being anti-social. She does have a tendency to not actively seek the companionship of others, and will often spend quite some time in her house, working on things. She seems to live for technology.
Thea was created, literally in a test tube, as supposed to born. During the very late part of her creation, however, she was essentially kidnapped by a team of cyborg soldiers not all that unlike herself. It turns out that some of the fine tuning wasn't completed at the time of her release, namely brainwashing, perhaps a deliberate move on their part. Unfortunately, the team that rescued her did not make it out of the facility alive, being killed by the facility's heavy defenses while she was still attempting to wake up from stasis. However, it turns out their actual mission was to rescue her, so a woman that wasn't present on the mission, but was overseeing it, established an audio connection with Thea through which she managed to guide her out. There were of course, weapons and armor laying around. For a long time, Thea fought in a war where her skills were put to use against a dystopian government, the same government who had been attempting to brainwash her to use for their own purposes. Said government had most control over her world, and wanted more, but she was part of a resistance force dedicated to fighting for freedom. However, that's over now, and she now spends her days attempting to "retire".
commanded Stark.Initiate sensor recalibration and move to sustain orbit theta. Signal to surface upon confirmation.
replied the navigation officer as the fleet instantaneously acknowledged the flagship's relayed signals.Roger that. Moving to orbit theta,
...and initializing continuous calibration sequence zero niner gamma. All systems reporting nominal.
inquired Stark as he rose from the captain's char. He wanted to be certain there were no mistakes made with this operation, or the blemish on his record would forever mar what would be an otherwise flawless career. The glint of light in his eye might have been a reflection of the dawn rising over Terra, or perhaps a glimpse of his aspirations, but no… no. He was not one to let his mind wander.Confirm systems nominal, ensign?
Aye, commander. The Oijanen, Hentogaira, and Akhrad all report systems nominal.
he chided in return, folding his hands behind his back. The smirk erupted into a smile, as it had been far too long since he'd had the pleasure of Arcus' amusing personality.I couldn't wait any longer for a vacation, you know.
came the curt response as the transmission terminated. Not much needed to be said, everyone knew what needed to be done. The hardest part of the journey was over, and now they waited....and a good vacation it will be. Welcome back, Stark. Arcus out.
Break formation. Hirodu to exit point echo delta and detachment gamma to Lagrange Luna Two. Broadcast emergency rendezvous point lambda six to the fleet, and instruct them to enter defensive pattern echo bravo. Reinforcement points for escort group Caladbolg Lagrange Sol four and five; and make sure they confirm those orders. All stations ready, we've got a rough ride ahead.
he asked inquisitively. Is everything okay out there? Do you need a terrestrial assist?
he opined, wondering if his cohorts thought the same. What's this, another Gundam?
he said, before grabbing his coat from the rack and departing for the docking bay.Very well. I'll tell the others.
