History
Tyler was born in a small town by one of Amara's beautiful coastal areas, and raised in a Imperialistic home. At age 13 he joined an Imperial Extremist group, and even assisted in terrorist attacks against the Republic. At age 17 his group was finally captured by Republic soldiers, though he only survived because Darius Ko'vash, saw a potential in him to become something greater then he was, and thus sentenced him to service in the Amarian Military. By age 24 Tyler had built a name for himself in the Amarian Marine Corp, and rose through the ranks to Colonel, where he was recruited into CODOS. Tyler has spent the rest of his military career in CODOS, rising to the rank of Commander, which is the equivalent to a Lieutenant General. Although, buried deep in his mind are the ideals of the Imperial Extremist.

So begins...

Darius listened to the Representatives as they spoke and turned to head to Cain, "I can assure you, if the DC puts boots on Terra it will be a humanitarian effort. We take a strong position against being the Aggressors in a conflict. This is mostly due to the fact in our home galaxy we are the dominate force, but that won't change just because a few stronger nations are now known to us." After speaking to Cain to then addressed the room again, "Once again the DC has yet to have dealings with the ones calling themselves Taiyou. Therefore, I should make it clear, despite our stance against being aggressors, we do not take lightly to threats, nor brute force." He sighed and leaned back into his chair folding his legs again, "And to our new Jelly-like friends, it seems as though you do not understand much of what is being said, this is a meeting to address the formation of Intergalactic Laws to protect each nation represented here today, and I certainly look forward to how future endeavors together."

As the situation unfolded around the Meeting encrypted messages were being passed from the DCSS Gauntlet to the DC's 9th Naval Fleet, without Darius' knowledge, whom have entered an area of space far enough away to remain undetected. One of these ships was the DC's pride and joy the DCSS Harbinger, which was currently under the command of the ODAS Commander Tyler Smith. "Commander," spoke the Helmsmen, "If we keep on this course we'll be out of communications range in 5 minutes." Tyler, who was dressed in his Combat Armor, rose from the Commanders chair, "Keep up ins comm range as best as possible. We can not risk using FTL Communication, would be rather easy for them to detect and find us." he said as he headed over to the sensors station to the right of the Commanders Chair, "What are the sensors reading in the area of the Meeting?" he asked leaning over to look at the screen, "Mostly, unknowns commander, but that's to be expected." Replied the Ensign of the station. After letting out a sigh Tyler returned to his chair, "Keep me posted." he said before sitting down.

The Taiyou delegation had been en-route to the meeting. Through the deployment of a single Sudden transport from the bowels of the ITN Nagato, two representatives of the Imperial Taiyou government had been dispatched with the group of Imperial Warriors to meet and speak with the delegation.

Inside the chambers where everyone was meeting would be met with a silence, before the door slid open and a single young male was seen standing in the doorway. He checked a small device worn on his wrist before he stepped through the door, behind him a group of young men, each wearing some kind of futuristic samurai like armor. The Man turned to his guards, before he nodded slightly, and the Guards turned to leave. He dusted himself off before he approached the delegation. Inquisitive brown eyes moving across the faces of each and every one of the delegates. His hands firmly clasped behind his back as his gaze focused on Cain.

"Silence yourself, we have no designs for Terra, nor do we fear your idle threats." The man said calmly, dismissing the man with a simple wave.

"I am Crown Prince Shimizu Gabriel Takayama, representing the Interests of the Taiyou Empire of Greater Niihama in light of my ailing father." He said, his voice tone neutral and almost stately.

"We've made our intentions clear, we desire the furthering of peace in this galaxy, in mutual accord for all nations involved. Be they small and weak, or strong and powerful." He said clearly. "But clearly a peace delegation does not stand on idle threats and bigotry, you judge us even before we make our intention clear." He said calmly.

He kept his gaze on Cain. "Terra is a pimple on the ass of this Galaxy, the Taiyou Empire is seeking out much more strategically benifical worlds, one where we won't have to contend with savages to secure." He said, letting his hands out from behind him.

"We've come to offer support in securing a Galactic alliance, and are willing to lay the framework for a Galactic council of all nations in this Galaxy."

The Pandorian Alliance listened to the others at the delegation, and then spoke themselves. Artemis looked at Cain, addressing him first. "You have our guarantee that we will not be looking to touch Terra. We have had no interest in Terra, and..." he began, only for Sarasha to speak up and interrupt him. "What Artemis is saying, is that we believe...". Artemis interrupted her now, telling her "Sarasha, that wold be rude to say. Please, let us not throw that around here". Sarasha looked at him, and said "This is a Peace Summit, and therefore, I would rather plain truth then shadowed words. You know I am right". With that, she turned to address Cain. "The Pandorian Alliance has believed Terra is a death trap, based on what we have heard and seen, though we do not mean offense by these words so please do not take them as such, and have never abused it nor have we been interested in it. However, if you truly mean what you say and you wish to make it better and help its people, perhaps we could provide some assistance. The Pandorian Alliance is no stranger to what abuse can do, and therefore we understand and appreciate your efforts".

Sarasha then looked at the D.C., adding "Intergalactic Law is very important. The ones that were established before and before that have been disregarded or forgotten, and new ones must be places. Ones that will be written for all of time to see, ones that will not fade".

She allowed Artemis to speak then. Artemis shot her a look of disagreement concerning their opinion on Terra and what to say about it, but he understood what she believed and said. Still, he clearly disagreed with what she did, but left that behind them, in the interest of peace. He looked at the Taiyou Prince, responding to what he has said. "Cain's threat does not concern you if you mean you have no interest in Terra, so his 'idle threat' is something you should not fear as it does not apply to you, according to your words. And on that point, your words speak of peace and support, yet your action to bring a fleet and demanding instead of asking suggests something else. We mean no offense, we only speak this to you to make sure you are aware of this. We would be lying if we said we were flawless ourselves, for everything has a flaw".

He then changed his focus, saying "However, it is always good to hear intentions of peace. Everyone and everything changes and can change, the world does not just sit still. There is always motion. You have said that people here are judging you before you have declared your intention, so let us rectify that. Please, explain your intention and your reasons, so that everyone here can be enlightened by knowledge and perspective".

Meanwhile, on the Pandorian Fleet's massive capital ship, The Catricarch, a figure watched from an observation deck at the ships and the data. Another figure walked up behind him. "I was not aware you had arrived, Raylan. What are you doing here?" a voice spoke behind him. "What I always do. Protect, Observe, and Assist". The female came and stood next to him. "You just love quoting that don't you, but other then observing the fleets, what brings you here? A Pandorian Service of Intelligence Agent at a Peace Summit? Unless you came here to alert us to the Taiyou fleet and any possible danger, you have no reason to be here".

She then added "Was that transmission I just sent pointless? Or is there some other danger we should know about?" Raylan smiled at her, noting "You know I can't comment on our operations. And, perhaps it was a bit pointless, but I can not comment on the influence of such preparations". She looked at him, with a cautious look. "Well, I know your not here to jeopardize the meeting, but your pure presence worries me. You better not plan on leaving me to clean up whatever mess your operations have planned..."

"I can not comment on Operations, but you have no need to worry. You should keep your worries to the other fleets, as you are Captain of the Catricarch. I am simply observing, nothing more. Maybe a bit of reporting too...". The Captain looked at him, and said "Well, I know you won't answer this, but I will ask it anyways. Did you just lie to me right now, or was that actually the truth? I never know with you lot. And you still owe me that drink. Anyways, I wish you a good stay on the Catricarch, and hope good luck to you". With that, she left the Catricarch's Observation Room.

After listening to everyone Luke stood once again this time turning to the Terrans, "I can promise there will be no military moves on behalf of the SEC toward Terra so long as trade with those willing on the surface is allowed." Luke said firmly, "On an off the record not I am sick of all of this being about Terra and I must agree with the Taiyou representative you are but a spec in a galaxy full of life and this meeting is about things much bigger than one small planet." He said sternly.

"As for the formation of international laws I am in agreement on one condition, anything that is made into law today must be agreed upon by two thirds of the representatives here." He said.

"I have one final but very important question, who will lead this galatic council and more importantly who can we trust with this kind of power?" He asked sternly looking in the eye of everyone of the major representatives then to the cameras. "Because it is a lot of power for one person and evermore so for said leaders nation."

With that being said Luke took his seat once more, Now the seeds of distrust are placed let the tensions arise and hopefully just hopefully this meeting will fall apart so I can return other projects. He thought smugly.

A group of Terran reporters from Express News had set up along the wall. A Japanese looking woman with an English accent started her report, keeping her voice low enough to not interrupt the talks. "This is Azami Kuribayashi live at the UCON peace summit in deep space...", she said and continued on.

Murmuring started, issuing from nearly every seat. Einar stood and spoke quickly after Luke in an attempt to disarm what he viewed as an attempt at sabotage. He had wanted to sit on the sidelines of this summit to observe but at the same time could not leave the outcome to chance if there were those that wished this summit to fail. "I would beg the leaders present to consider this: There need not be a leader, only a speaker to maintain order when chaos reigns. This speaker could be elected by those council members nominated, elected, and representing their own people, organization, or government. Those council members hold their seats for a term and can be re-elected or removed should their people deem them worthy or wanting by a vote of no confidence by their peers or those they represent. If at all possible the number of members in this council should be odd. It is moot until a full accounting has been done for every party that needs to be represented and folly to argue over until nominations have been made."

He continued on with but a slight pause. "All those that wish to be represented and offer assistance in this project should make themselves known. King Josiah Liwave of the Mezzadrate Empire and Artemis and Sarasha of the Pandorian Alliance have spoken wisely and in support of this project. Glaob Nuurk of the Forners seems willing to dedicate and share their love of music and forn. UCON was kind enough to host this meeting and thus we can assume they have interest in it. Darius Ko'Vash of the Democratic Coalition has spoken well in support of this summit and its goals. Even Luke Sullen of the Zar...", he said, paused and reviewed the information. "... I mean the Sullen Enterprises Confederacy has provided valuable input. My good friend, Cain of Terra represents the welfare of Terra and her people as no others have stood among those present." He motioned to all. "He is aware as much as you all are that Terra is an insignificant speck in the grand scheme of things. At the same time he is as aware as are all of you that it is the conflict currently taking place on Terra, in SOL, among a number of great powers that caused the need for this summit. It is not my intent to make Terra the primary topic."

He then turned to Crown Prince Shimizu Gabriel Takayama. "We are honored by your presence Crown Prince of the Taiyou. I am sure that the people of Terra and its government will be relieved to hear that the declaration of war upon them will soon be lifted or already has been. Does your presence here mean that you have interest in the formation of this council or in the project being proposed? You have just said that you wish for the furthering of peace in this galaxy. This would be a brilliant step in that direction." The touch pad continued to beep in a low tone, not audible but to those very close to Cain and him. If Takayama gave a negative then the only other reason for his presence had to deal with the capture of the Aschen leadership and the Aschen surrender. It would likely cause problems if they sought custody of the prisoners of war. Einar returned to his seat.

Sarasha watched Luke. Her psychic power of Empathy made her feel a sort of distrust from Luke. Though, she could not accurately place what that meant exactly. Empathy was an already shaky power, and pregnancy did not help it at all. She couldn't tell if it was distrust towards him, comming from him towards someone or everyone, or if he wanted to cause distrust in everyone here. Though, she found it hard to believe, though she knew it was certainly possible and likely, that someone would want to prevent this peace and co-operation, so she assumed it was just some faulty perception, maybe towards something he said, or him at something someone else said. Either way, she thought adding her view might help clarify things.

"I agree, there should be no leader of a council, for that defeats the point of a council. We should have an equal number of representatives from each nation, and create a council to decide things. In this project of such a large scale, one person should not have all the power. If we are to make laws and guidelines for all of those involved, then all of those involved should have fair and equal representation. We can not afford to have distrust grow among us, and allow a threat to such peace".

She looked back at Luke, hopping that the distrust he felt or someone felt towards him would dissipate. Artemis meanwhile looked at Einar. "To add onto what you have said, we can not just put one planet over all of them. There are other planets that have their problems and people too. On our Homeworld, we still must deal with the treacherous wildlife and plant life, which like us, have evolved from a planet in which faced several challenges for survival. Antongrad has recently had a visit from a Wyrm. Misrana has had its troubles as well. While we should provide support to Terra, help it become something better, we can not turn our backs of all of the other planets and troubles. Who are we to declear one planet and it's people more important then another? All of the worlds deserve help when they need it".

With that, he sat down, and let others speak their minds on this as well.

Finally Josiah raised himself once more, "I suppose I best be blunt and tell you why the forming of this alliance is necessary I am surprised to see such support for this, and I hope this shows good tidings. The goal of this alliance are two things, one we shall work on a document of Intergalactic Laws inspired by Terran document of the past it shall not be a replacement of those laws but instead a continuation of said document. The final goal is a neutral platform Christian-ed Eulogy Bastion it shall be a huge..." hold on I shall show you a model our scientists have formed.

He would place a small pod like device down and press a button as a 3D model of Eulogy Bastion would show up:
Image

"Here it is gentleman and ladies the true goal of all this a place where all nations can gather and speak on important matters and no danger for either to take part in these talks. Each nation shall be represented by an Ambassador and have a suite assigned to them, each nation shall something to the construction of this thus it shall be the work of peace and friendship. Of course there is risks, I understand them, but it's time to bring the wars back to neutral zones, many of you I know have done questionable things. I of course am unpopular with my own council of families because of my race, rumors are all we have."

The King took a deep breath, "For the sake of non-conflict if you don't wish to be represented then leave now, if you are being represented then I am sorry to say we must know the truth. No crimes will be charged here today, think of today as a blank slate, I know this is risky but I am trying to make you all understand that we must look to new ways to handle our grievances, Mezzadrate should stop hiding for one thing. I am trying to conduct a new era. If the League of Non-Aligned Worlds is to survive we will need to be honest with one another."

Darius inclined his head as Sarasha Einar and Josiah, he knew all to well the risks. After all, he himself, sat on a council, and knew the challenges it would face, "Forming, and maintaining a Council is not an easy task, but a necessary one. The Democratic Coalition is run by a council and has been for many years, therefore we know the risks involved and the challenges it will present. In short we must not waver under pressure nor falter from this path if the League is to success." He spoke to the room despite his eyes focused more on Luke, almost as if he could sense that he was up to something. "Also, to add to representative Sarasha's statement about helping other worlds, the DC has a humanitarian force willing and able to help as many worlds as they can. Of course, aid from other nations will be needed to insure no planet is left out. In addition, we can even supply planets and nations with alternative power supplies that pose less risk to both planet and person. We would also be inclined to give the same power supplies in support of the station." With that final statement Darius sat down folding his legs again.

On board the DCSS Harbinger, Tyler and the crew received one last report from the Gauntlet. "Commander, the Gauntlet reports all good, seems the meeting is coming to a close as we speak." Said the communications technician as he turned to face Tyler, "Good, hold position here. I'm sure Prime Minister Ko'vash would like to know we're here." Tyler said as he turned to face the CIC of the bridge.

: We're just here to deliver vegetables !
: So long as trade is free, we should have no problem with all that you already said, yes ?
: There comes a time when everyone will be together. We're willing to support the future, but not by expenses or force. Accessibility will be a strength! Communication and trade will be indispensable tools!
"Whurr jerst hurr tor dulurvah vurgturbals!" Glaorb Nuurk glorbled. The gelatinous being was harried with the pace of conversation, his delegates memorizing everything for sure, imprinting the audio waves to vibe back later. Despite this backup method of communication, Glaorb wished the wavelengths would stretch.

"Salong a Trade is Free," He pronounced those last three words very carefully and clearly, "We sh'av nooooproblom wit aaaaaall dahyu alreasaisai yeas?" Glaorb aimed his dark obsidian eyes around the room. "Ther hums a time wen ebriwon illy together. Wooleye support tha future, o nobye expense o force. Assessiblibliblih illy a trenth! Luke listened to the representatives speak and then he himself stood again. "I am in agreement with the projects plans and I second the motion for a leaderless council." He said as he looked around the room, "In addition I offer to supply staff and can send construction crews to assist in the process." He said, he decided it would be a botch job to try and crush this conference and with the promise of a clean slate he could push aside any genocide charges that might have arisen against him. (Out of MV Rp... Luke Ordered the use of chemical weapons against a planetary population.) Maybe he could even gain some allies out of this conference.

"On another note the SEC has a variety of items open for purchase, I am after all a salesman, if anyone is interested I will be around after the meeting." He said with a business like smile.

Then something crossed his mind, maybe it was a bet it was after all a dangerous ploy. He turned to the UCON representative. " But back to a more important matter, If the slates are being cleaned what would that mean for the Divine Shadow?" He asked, "Would he be freed or are his charges a private matter? It also appears that the Aschen Reps have been arrested. No yes they may have done bad things in the past but if we are to be equal and really work with a clean slate I am asking that they be released and allowed to attend if they so wish." He knew he was risking angering other representatives but he wanted to make a point here, if this "clean slate policy was to be upheld there could be no loopholes no exceptions. "So we can retain this policy or we can revoke it and then we will have to begin holding trials and I know many here would be more than happy with the clean slate policy." He said there was fire in his eyes, and once it got going he could become a force to be reckoned with.

The jelly creatures listened as another representative spoke. They personally had no strife with anyone as intergalactic traders. The Aschen were great customers, unless those planets weren't Aschen planets, in which case they had a lot of records to rewrite. Just thinking about the potential accounting and records mistake was beginning to congeal Glaorb, so he simply stopped letting this vibe heat his jelly.

Gently they hummed and jiggled in agreement with Luke. Though they felt the energy practically spilling off of Luke, he was literally heated, this was not what swayed the gelatinous beings. A clean slate was a clean slate, and the Aschen were customers aside. If they were going to make rules everyone should have to follow them. Equals. Communitradion was crucial.

AHSC 'Aurora'
Aurora Class Battleship

Mollem silently waited as everything seemed to fall into place. He stared out the window of the ship towards the larger Coalition fleet playing out before him. He didn't say anything, nor did he give any orders. It seemed he didn't have a plan. Raphael on the other hand sat there silently, before he turned his head to Kianna, and then he looked to Mollem, and he shook his head.

Discreetly his hand played across the crystalline structure of the console, and then he moved over to the central command chair, and he sat down in it. But of course he didn't make it look like he was planning anything, simply he sat.

Kianna returned Raphael's glance but said nothing. It would seem the fiery woman had resigned to Mollem's decision - regardless of his sobriety being well in question at this point. Mollem had already been showing signs of a downward spiral when she had spoken to him on Lamos, and the betrayal of the Pegasus Project had no doubt done little for the man's convictions. She grit her teeth and looked away as she awaited their arrival.

Mollem had it on his face. He had left little to the imagination when it came to his feelings. He simply stood there with a look of resignation on his face. Raphael on the other hand, let his fingers play across the controls at the command chair, eyes still on his father as the bridge window lit up, a series of yellow spherical missile like objects buzzed towards the Coalition fleet. Dozens turned to hundreds as they spread out and moved towards the Coalition fleet, each drone packing the explosive power of a nuclear warhead, with a superheated energy field allowing it to burrow through shields and armor alike. The Drones would move to the Coalition fleet, swarming them and buzzing about while broadcasting a powerful jamming field to throw communications into disarray. Several of the drones broke off and began to home in on FTL Inhibitors while Raphael pulled the ship back.

Kianna glanced between Raphael and Mollem, the brief indecision staying her for only a moment before she grabbed the disruptor pistol from Mollem's hand and leveled it on Raphael. "Get away from the console," she bit out through grit teeth as she stepped towards him.

I intervened in your death, to give you the opportunity to fix everything you screwed up, and give you a new outlook on eternity. Your lies, and your actions, have doomed a people. If it wasn't for you, the idea of the Empire would have fizzled out. You kept him going, you egged him on.

They were Marlene's words which left them greatly subject to suspicion, but there had been validity to them. Kianna had displayed quite well a penchant for provoking Mollem to stand firm when he might have otherwise walked away from it all. If it was her words that were keeping Mollem's vision of the Empire alive, then perhaps the intervention of the alterans had not been to the aim of salvaging the Empire at all.

"Recall the drones, and get away from the console," she repeated, her voice a low growl.

Raphael silently stared at Kianna, the pistol, and then his eye eyes moved to the console. "Put down the weapon." He demanded, then he shot his hand out and he used his abilities to wrench the pistol from her grip.

He then threw a lever forward, and the ship lurched towards the Coalition fleet, before it was engulfed in a hyperspace wormhole not unlike the Bifrost wormhole.

Raphael leaned back and he stared at Mollem. "Someone had to make the decision, to keep this Empire, to keep us alive. I did not come back to this world, to die again at the hands of the Coalition.." He said flatly. Mollem simply stood there saying nothing as Kianna and Raphael argued.

With the ship safely in Hyperspace, he stared at Kianna, then he stared at Mollem. "We're going to see this through to the end. It's not over yet." He said, setting the weapon down. "The war will not end on their terms, it will end on our terms. Those other nations on that station. All potential allies in this fight now that they have seen Coalition aggression."

Kianna narrowed her eyes upon Raphael but offered no words as she simply turned and stalked out of the command room.

Shimizu remained silent as he surveyed and listened to the others in the room. He tapped his slender fingers on his side before he nodded. "I am sure a Blank Slate is agreeable, in light of hostilities with the Aschen. It can be my pleasure in the spirit of cooperation here that I will endeavor to terminate hostilities with them, and approach reform through more peaceful methods." Shimizu said, turning to Cain and the Varden representative. "I will even go a step further and offer aid in light of the bomb that was detonated on their planet, and the riots that plague their home worlds." He said, turning to the rest of the delegations. "Terra is no longer the Center of the Galaxy, this alliance must make efforts to ensure peace and a clean slate across all worlds. I would hope the Coalition is willing to come to the same discussion out of the possibility of being alienated from the rest of the Nations here."

One of the Taiyou soldiers whispered in Shimizu's ear, and the Taiyou prince nodded.

"It seems the Aschen have bowed out." He said calmly, whispering in Taiyou to his adjutant.

Hearing all this, Josiah responded in turn, "My, my I am so happy we can unite here and speak of peace in such obvious crops of aggression. I shall address you all. Of course many are concerned with the deal of Ambassadors and I shall be forthwith, each Nation shall be represented an Ambassador, the Ambassadors shall speak for the Nation on the station and have a suite or attache. Their can be non-political entities on the station, as they would likely to pursue more agreements and further their business, but Eulogy Bastion will not have any Corporations have ambassadors, in the extreme case that a Corporation has gotten control of a planet or nation, they will be expected to enter the agreement but the person chosen as Ambassador must have zero corporate ties. This platform will accept all people, I won't lie, but the Ambassadors and the Crew will have the most power if an Ambassador requests this person or group will be removed. This is all to show the nation that no matter how small you seem in the scheme of things, your opinion matters." with that he paused and nodded before continuing, "If the Aschen wish to be here or wish to make contact with the League their past crimes are considered done, I will caution that I am an ally of the UCON so while I say a clean slate it does not mean we trust you any more. A clean slate is a chance to prove yourself a worthy member of this agreement. This is merely just the first of these meetings, there shall be many more."

Taking a firm stance he went on, "Humanitarian efforts are what I hope for, and with the League forming we can reach out to others quicker, everyone will know what's taking place and no more will people be not privy to concerns. I agree Terra should not be the center of the Galaxy, I have no qualms with the planet, I simply feel having the station in Norma Arm will be better for all and Terra will get as much representation as it desires. The whole point of this is there is no center of this idea, it a circle of Nations who are United by our cause for Peace and Protection. I know many Nations are not represented here, I will welcome all..."

"Final point is thus, I propose fully agree with Leaderless Council, each delegate shall have the power of voting, 'Yes', 'No', 'Abstain' or Veto once, the power to veto will be handed out to all the Nations. I understand you probably feel this is risky, and I of course am of agreement on this, but by doing this we also give the smaller nations more power. They can choose to use that power and act on their concerns."

Now was the point he was most dreading, "People of Mezzadrate and other nations assembled I am King Josiah Liwave of the 21st Noble House and I have been considering something for a long time, with all this I have finally decided now is time. As of today I shall be the final King of Mezzadrate and citizens if you are watching listen well... I wish to remove the power the Noble Houses and I have, we shall become an actual Democracy and my second and most impressive piece of news is to do with the Democratic Coalition... as representative of Mezzadrate I ask to become part of your alliance, the only deal here is thus our agreement with UCON is still solid and if thus is the case then I shall accept... As for you my gooey friends, I am sure we can write out some trade agreements and we can all decide how members of the League work within trading imports and exports. But for now the focus is building the foundations."

Readying to take his seat once more, he ended, "As you can see I am dedicated to this project, so much so I shall make myself the ambassador for Mezzadrate. Any questions or have we reached what could be called an understanding? If this is the case, then I believe we shall all meet again a more neutral location perhaps and meanwhile our main focus is the efforts to help the nations suffering, if you can offer any words on this, that I suppose is the most pressing issue."

Darius took note of Josiah's statements and replied, "I am in agreement as well. A unified council where no one representative has more power then another, is exactly what is needed to make this work. I am also hesitant on the Veto, but understand it's necessity." He then paused and rose form his seat, "I would also like to request the formation of a News broadcast in which every nation represented by the League can gather information related to events that have already taken place, such as Humanitarian efforts and so forth. This will allow all to be up to date on events that affect the League and it's member nations, of course this will also report on the end results of meetings taking place both here and with the council." He paused again looking about trying to get an assessment of the responses from the other representatives, "In addition, I believe a vote should be called form each nation to elect a council representative immediately following the signing of this treaty, this will allow each nation the chance to choose their representative, with the exceptions of nations like the Taiyou over there." he then gestured to Shimizu, "I'm sure his people would elect him anyway, being he is currently their acting ruler." he meant no disrespect by this statement he was simply stating what he believed to be true. He then turned his attention to Josiah, "At last I must ask you, King Josiah. When you stated 'become part of' are you referring to becoming a member race of the Coalition? This is more for my personal clarification then anything else, I'm afraid I did not fully understand what you were suggesting, and I do apologize for that."

(Okay, my post has been deleted twice due to stupid reasons, and tagging is near impossible on an iPad. Sorry I can't tag everyone, but it's just so difficult and I don't have the patience anymore)

Sarasha looked at the people in the room as they talked, and was about to talk herself, but Hadaksha, who had stayed mostly silent during this whole thing, spoke first, in his deep, wise tone, hardened by age. "A clean slate is needed, for us to move on. Our new laws may contridict with things some nations have done in the past that was legal for them, and if we are to look towards the future, we must let go of the past. The Galaxy burns and suffers, and most if not all of us before now have been isolationists, war torn, or warring. And we do not exclude ourselves from this either. But no more! We must set aside our differences and distrust, and work towards something better. You all have come here not for Greed or Power, but for your nations and your people. You have come here for those who have suffered and those who are suffering! You have come for those who will suffer if this is not stopped. You have come for peace, for families, for friends and for loved ones. You have come because you recognize the fate we shall have if we continue on this path. People currently are murdered in their homes or taken by some corrupt Corperation, or some other horrible fate. Citizens of tyrant nations live in fear and brutality. We are here because we recognize this fact, and recognize the future needs to change. You may ask yourselves why I bring this up now, and the answer is simple. Strength. I see our Alliance being forged into a shield that can do all of this, and that is good, but it must be forged strong, and not weak. We must add all we can to strengthen this shield, or it will shatter against those who oppose it. That is why I say this now. Because now that the forging has begun, we must ensure it is forged with strength, with honor, and with wisdom. I say this because I believe together we can make all of our people better, as well as possibly the galaxy itself".

Sarasha was just stunned at Hadaksha, and his words. While she herself could not find words, Artemis could, saying "Well spoken, Hadaksha, my good friend. Ki...Ambassador Josiah Liwave, it is a good man who gives up his own power to give it to the people. Though I hope that your people are ready to force such a thing themselves. It is a people who forces the creation of a Democracy, and your people must be ready to support and take part in such a thing. I wish you good luck, and good years".

Sarasha, who had finally found something close enough to words, simply started clapping a little, smiling. Artemis was impressed, but he did not clap as well. Mainly because, he can't really clap that well.

A strange ball of light faded and flashed it's way into view, with what looked like lightning arching out form it's core. As the light grew the arching lightning became more intense, and before long, the ball expanded in a bright flash of light. After the light faded two ships with Gold markings were left where the strange ball was. "Well, seems we've arrived Prime Minister." said the Helmsmen of the Frigate. "Good," responded Darius Ko'vash, "Start the scan..." he was interrupted, but the Sensor Tech, "Sir, I'm detecting more ships in the area. Scans show their weapons are powered down. No signs of hostility." Darius headed over to the sensors to see for himself. "Well, this should be interesting." he muttered to himself, "Open a comm link, I need to speak to Commander Smith." he said stand up straight and turning on his heels.

Meanwhile, on board the Carrier, "Commander, unidentified ships are also in the area, should we activate our shields?" Commander Smith, rose for his chair, folding his left arm behind his back, "Shields up, open a Comm Link to the Prime Ministers ship tell them to fall back behind us," he stared at the ships in the area for a moment, "Open a comm to those ships." he said taking a seat once again, "Comm open," said the Comm tech, "This is Commander Smith of the Amarian Republic, We are responding to a distress signal in the area, I'm assuming you have does so as well." he said resting his chin on the back of his right hand, "For security reason, I ask to identify yourselves."

Gro'chal sat silently at the helm of The Reaper's Vengeance. He expanded his consciousness like a fog across the asteroid field in a subtle scan. His mandibles twitched in the equivalent of a wicked smile. They were outnumbered, outgunned, and out-manned, but Gro'chal was confident in their success. The Naacani stroked the glossy black orb on the arm of his captain's seat. A blip on his consciousness drew his attention to the second group of ships that arrived.

"Psionics..." he furrowed his brow. "We will need to take them out quickly. All hands, go silent. Keep the beacon broadcasting. Let them come into our net. We will show them what it means to feel terror..."

The Reaper's Vengeance sat silent and dead - floating near the center of the drifting asteroid field. Only a brief flicker of electricity signaled any activity on the ship besides the garbled distress beacon that continued to be broadcasted.

"May- chzzzz -day! This is Medus-chzzz-earl. Trading vessel alpha-brav-chhzzzzz-tango-niner. Engine failure, life sup-chzzzz-ailing. Please send help. Don't kno-chzzzz-ong we can hold out."

The Kadosh Strike Team Leader prepared his men. "Alright people, we have to move fast and help where we can. Kyos?"

Lt. Kyos was the Pandorian Technical Officer of the strike team. As like all Pandorians, he had Psionic abilities. Kyos also had a knack for fixing things without seeminly using any parts, so he would be able to restore life support. One of the medical ships would establish an air link to provide oxygen so they would not suffocate, but the Pandorians would be using life systems anyways. This would, among other things, prevent the spread of any diseases.

The ships still remained on high alert, but support was authorized. Zebler Ryak told the teams to be careful, and all medical officers to be ready to help whoever they saw. The dropships shields remained up, and Ryak was still concerned about this distress signal. Something just seemed off. He told their ships to continue to run scans, visual and otherwise, for any damage that could have caused this, as well as the current activity of their weapons systems. He made sure the pilot was ready to bug out if needed.

He would still go to provide help, but he couldn't help but feel like there was a lack damage to the vessel. After all, they were stationary, or at least as stationary as one could be in space. And so close to a planet's trade routes? But it was Ryak's job to anticipate worst case scenario, and all this could and likely was just him being paranoid. However, that paranoia has kept him alive for many decades.

"Commodore Huras, a new grouping of ships entering the system. Located to our relative upwards-right. Response?"

"Leave weapons on stand-by, shield diminished to one-third power at moment. Accelerate to combat speed at five percent thrust. Prepare three Hronathi drop-ships for possible boarding action," she responded to the Electronic Operations lieutenant. Opening her mind once again to the psych-net, scan-images of the two new contacts sifting through the other information into her mind. A most interesting day this was. Not only was her battle group assigned to the escort of the explorer to the recently discovered planet- Vertiga, if translations were correct- but now she was initiating first contact with two, possibly three, factions as of yet unknown to C'ran. Reflecting inwards upon this, she found herself giddy with excitement at the prospect of being able to meet an 'alien' personally. The Avari and Grecians were too familiar to be exotic anymore and no other nations existed among the currently explored stars.

Leaning forward in her lev-chair, Huras initiated a task unit-wide vote, receiving responses back from most within the first seven seconds as information streamed itself directly to the minds of the recipients. Overwhelmingly in favor of continuing contact and dispatching the drop-ships to the distress beacon. Closing the massive link to thousands upon thousands of intellects, the echo of life in her head faded away, surge of knowledge bleeding out of her memory.

Vidovher-Seer Algotha, report on detections of signatures psychic or psionic in nature? Hurasthought over a link to the aforementioned person, head of her ship's preternatural detachment.

Dormant abilities in newest group. Psionics confirmed in original grouping, psychics as of yet unknown. Unnatural signature from distress source, cause unknown. Feedback from area possible explanation. Recommend detaching defensive psio-coven and battle sorcerer with boarding units.

I concur with that assessment, Algotha. Arrange immediately.

The Light Bringer scuttled forward under the low-power thrust engines, closing the distance between the C'ran vessels and the apparently-wounded ship cautiously. Bustle filled the small hanger of the Fast Attack Ship as two squads of Expeditionary Infantry and the psio-coven boarded their respective drop-ships, arranging their power-armored bodies inside the confines of the small vessels. Each normal soldier came equipped with a V-type melee module, weapon-mounted sonic close-quarters weapon, and shoulder-mounted plasma caster. While the V-type module was generally too large for effective use inside the generally cramped hallways of a spaceship, the added hitting power would ensure effective elimination of any threat.

Engines hummed quietly as the small transports awaited clearance to proceed with boarding operations as the Fast Attack Ship closed in on the distressed vessel, slowing to begin maneuvers through the asteroid field. Fragments of stone slid off the shields of the C'ran vessel, shunted aside. Activating reverse thrusters, the ship decelerated quickly, coming to a halt still a fair distance from the stranded starship. The other two Orison FASs moved into a covering position, ready to unleash salvos of covering fire should any hostilities begin. Once again, a psychic message, along with a radio counterpart this time, was beamed towards the Pandorian and Amarian vessels, requesting identification.

On board the carrier, Tyler was sitting in the captains chair, his eyes locked on the vessel adrift in the asteroid field. Unknown to him, his hand was stroking the arm of the chair in the same manner as Gro'chal Deathwearer. "Raise shields to 60 percent max, and open hanger doors." he said, not even taking his eyes off the ship. "Another one of you feelings Commander?" Asked one of the ensigns on the bridge. "Yeah, you could call it that," he replied, "Contact the Prime Ministers ship, have him take a Jump ship back to the fleet, put them on stand by as well. We don't need the Prime Minister getting caught up in a fight." As the transports for the C'ran, and Pandorian Alliance approached the vessel, Tyler's feeling grew more ill by the minute.

"Well, if Tyler wants me to leave, then I guess I must," Said Darius Ko'vash, to the Helmsmen as he relied Tyler's request. "However, should anything interesting happen I will be with the fleet when it jumps." He sighed as he left the bridge heading for the transport he arrived on, "What a waste." he said after boarding the Jump ship, and departed the area.

Back aboard the Carrier, "Commander, incoming message, text only," said the comm tech, "Their requesting identification." Tyler shifted his head to the left as he replied, "Respond, 5th Amarian fleet, on an escort mission. Nothing more." He deepened his focus on the vessel, "Scan the vessel, I want to know what it's in distress." he said to his sensor tech. "Commander, scans of the vessel show minimum power out-put, it's possible their power supply is damage," said the sensor tech, "But?" said Tyler as he stayed focused on it. "But, the scans are inconclusive, too much interference from the Asteroid field." replied the sensor tech. This only made Tyler focus harder, his thoughts racing, as unclear images flashed in his head. "Why were they in an asteroid field?" he asked himself, "navigating an asteroid field isn't easy, I don't care who you are." The images in his head flashed faster causing a mild headache.
