; The image of a stoic Scatterran flicked to life, the hologram of the suited man appearing. The young man, Hykan by his stern visage, was adorned in a form-fitting suit; dress pants and a dark shirt covering the man until one eyed the seal of the Coalition government attached to his breast. As the silence drew over the foreign discussion, the clean-shaven image made one soft motion with his hand, before placing one in his pocket and holding the chest of his jacket with the other.
"Ladies and Gentlemen of the Terran Parliament and the recognized allies present, my name is Josef Regievko," He stopped a minute at that point; a token smile on his face, something that was fetchingly equal to his father, Ludvik's, face. Many would firstly recognize this man as his son, a young and spitting image of the one who would easily be 60 by this time. Soon, it would become obvious the message was recorded, as the synchronized movements of the image caused the hologram to look to the side for a moment.
"Unfortunately, at this time I'm only allowed to maintain recorded messages. Not enough time to spend on a physical connection at the moment -- I haven't been much concerned on the occurrences outside this nation's borders, but I've recently only learned of the newly elected government. I welcome all Terrans in this room to the ... wonderful world of government service." His grin accompanied a brief chuckle, and the image hardened as it focused towards Josef's head.

; Josef fiddled at the emblem sheepishly before turning back toward the camera. He eyed the fixture intently before the hologram flickered away to reveal a constellation of solid, hard features suspended in the vacuum of space; the spread of a planet looming in the background of the image.
"The newly christened capitol of the Coalition of Nations, of course, but to display that myself, as Prime Minister of the Coalition and the new government are committed to the safety of Coalition interests and it's allies beyond our little neck of the woods," The images increased in complexity to reveal the waiting fleet of starships, nearly two hundred clustered into precise formations, and revealed the largest ships throughout the fleet.
"These vessels were the last Old Government ships to recovered following the events of the past few months. Under protocol of this government's international policy, I will be showing the TNG that this planet will always have an ally within the Coalition; against anything." His voice resounded, showing a pair of the ships moving towards the station the message was filmed from.
"To support our interests for a strong Terra, and galaxy, the Military Apparatus is prepared to broker trade agreements directly with the Parliament of this new government -- to show the galaxy that there are friends here to help."

; The Coalition had responded with a single open message in return, the blank structure of the transmission pre-recorded with a subtle speech applicator by one of the numerous AI cores of the Coalition infrastructure. Presentable through several formats, the official emblem of the Scatterran Wings fluttered by before the audio transmission began.
"In response to those of Caprica; the situation in this region will have the possibility to become a contested issue both in the remnants of the legitimate Aschen government, the territories and locations held by the Scatterran-Coalition authority as well as numerous other groups of varying civility. On commission from the Prime Minister of this nation, the Coalition suggestions on the situation will formally follow the dispositions of this contacting party -- and who is this new government?"

; Through the intricate network of communications posts, a network of millions of low-maintenance stations to ease the distance of communicating, the Coalition had scrubbed the transmission through a lattice work of digital parsing before finally relaying it to the inner core of the new Coalition government, the Numadi Region of the Outer Empire.
"President fucking Roslin." Regievko muttered at himself before turning to the airscreen displaying the pathways and information of the exchange. Looking over to a man adorning a tailored suit, the young Prime Minister flicked his chin to a holographic display of a voice recorder.

"President Roslin of the Aschen Confederation, this is Josef Regievko on behalf of the United Coalition. Your suggesting a Coalition-backed military force mount an offensive within Aschen territory to remove fractional regimes from the region?"

; Josef crossed an arm over his chest to scratch under his chin as the Aschen spoke. The administration had been hardly concerned with many of the international situations, but it had become a possibility in the coming months that some problems would need to be addressed. Josef had cut a touring of the Outer Empire and a observation of the infrastructure short to now deal with these situations pressing on him. If the Aschen ended up as bad as the President was suggesting, the vital fuel-tap at Sol would become nothing but a heavily guarded target in an entire region of unstable conflict.

"Your considerations are entirely relevant, but there is still much more at stake -- from both ends. Hagan's name came up in several reviews, but I had had personal doubts of their validity until recently. The Coalition has maintained policies of preservation with foreign governments -- at this moment, the forces in the Local Region are ... few and far between, the Soviet Republics will certainly be observant of the movements; on top of that there are a good hundred billion Azricans with ordinance just ready for a spark. This government has resources to provide, what do you need?"

; Josef turned over to the suited man, rolling his fingers slightly before turning back to the airscreen. His hand reached out and activated a mote of light from the projector. The image of the Apparatus insignia flared before the Prime Minister's specialized interface spurred to life.

"I'm not the one to plan, but the Military Council will certainly handle the situation as best they possibly can -- I'm not sure of how much the Senate will allow, but logistical and power supplies can be addressed. The Senate will begin a deliberate hearing, and until they reach a verdict will be the Coalition operational time; weeks or months. The marines are ready to jump in a minute, though."

; Josef Regievko nodded as an image of the Coalition fleet deployment across the galaxy blinked into existence; as Josef painted a trio of formations scattered throughout the Local Region and the farthest regions of the Colonial Sphere, he planted his hands together and turned to Minister Roehns.

"Without all the formal signatures, I do believe the Coalition Military Apparatus has been requisitioned as an expeditionary force. The trickle may start out slow, but with quick whits I'm sure the Council will manage a substantial force for deployment on Caprica. I'll provide the leading command of the expedition a complete political briefing as well."

; Josef Regievko studied a floating image as Roslin turned to one of her counterparts, before he drew a hand up to his mouth and called for the Roehns. As the stocky Hykan approached, the man looked away from one of the screens. The hologram displayed a graphed chart of the marine deployments, with a more than necessary portion of the Apparatus deployed along the Colonial Sphere and Local Region.

"Four divisions of marines by the time this goes off, ten more in waiting if things take too long. You'll need an entire fleet from the Navy to pull that much haul, but once the Aschen open the doors, the marines will know how to clean up the house." Roehns subtly hinted to Regievko by talking close to his shoulder, before the young Josef looked to the President.
"Any further inquiries can be handled via the same channels, and I see this as a point in history; for the past three decades these nations have been buckled to a broken mind. It's time for a change of policy."

; Josef looked over his shoulder at the desk as the hologram faded away, reaching for a wireless phone on it's receiver, he quickly pecked a number onto a display before addressing Roehns. He ran a hand through his hair and adjusted the cuff of his shirt.

"We're putting 2 million Coalition marines into the heart of the Aschen society, if this wasn't so ironic I would actually be humbled. The Senate will claw this to pieces, no matter which way it gets fed to them. Bernas -- " Regievko was silenced by the Hykan, walking to a window and observing the urban sprawl of Young Empyria and the capitol of the Coalition.
"The Senate will see a light, but how much we won't know. As acting Prime Mininster, it's your obligation to select the commanders of this expedition then -- you handle the Apparatus, and I will handle the Allies." He remarked before turning away for the door.

; High above the battlefield, the flight of escorting F/V-82 Reapers peeled away from an element of two MSC-45 Hurricanes. The ECW Hurricanes operated an intricate network of reconnaissance pods, radar attachments and targeting equipment.
"This is Eyeflight One One; you've got two stikis coming in fast, ground-team. Repeat, Calaban Contacts inbound with weaponry to bear. Those aircutters will go straight through the CASEVAC birds. You gotta' get them loaded now!"

On the ground, a marine Leopard IFV propped itself up against a irrigation canal and fired its main 125mm cannon, releasing a burst of wind and falling rain before dousing a nearby hillside with heavy weapons fire. As the squad of marines disembarked the vehicle, two of the soldiers hefted the heavy weapons of the QRF platoon, SM-10 Striker missile launchers equipped with close-proximity surface to air missiles.
"We've only got four of these so we gotta' make 'em count, give me telemetry on those inbounds -- Alpha-Two, designators up!"

; To the west, the two Cricket heavy VTOLs pushed up towards the mountains, their engines beginning to scream loudly as the two ODI platoons neared their immediate dropzone. The icy plateau nestled into the mountains nearly 3 kilometers above the highway overlooked the battlefield below; at a distance the crews of the Crickets could see the inbound Tauron aircraft on their sensors, the weather would provide some cover for the Crickets as they descended toward the drop zone.
"This is Outlaw Two Nine with coordinates ready for strike -- we've got four interceptors at 50 kilomikes. We only get once chance though, they're bingo on fuel." The ODI Lieutenant keyed into the battle communiques as soon as he touched foot on the snowy mountain ridge.

"These Strikers won't bring down those shields ... if we can knock out all their escorts maybe they'll spook! Open up, Alpha-Two!" A Master Sergeant yelled over comms as a pair of high-velocity TGMs launched from two positions spread 30 meters apart along the road. The team of marines loaded another two Starstreak missiles into the launchers, before an element of four marines armed with close range Sacker missiles fired off their ordinance as well.
"They get any closer we might as well start shooting -- who said we didn't need to bring a MAAC?!" A Corporal yelled as he operated the MR-18H attached on a troop carrier, beginning to stitch arcs of bullets through the air as the Tauron aircraft grew larger on the horizon.
"Get that armor off the highway! Everybody get into cover, go go go! Infantry, disperse from the vehicles!"

; A marine Lieutenant ran along the roadway, shouting to the disembarked marines as the squad of marines farthest up the road readied another volley of Sacker M64s. The marines were all seated on the ground in preparation to fire. As the marines activated the K5H3 targeting modules, the Lieutenant crouched beside an fireteam as they launched a salvo of missiles, jumping from their launch vehicles and streaking toward their targets.
"This is Alpha-One; load up your smoke shells and pop 'em! If we can't knock 'em down, we can make it a bitch to hit us!" He said, pointing to a trio of locations ahead of the spearhead for the deployment of smoke grenades. The platoon of marines fired off a cluster of smoke grenades, detonating at 20 meters ahead of the spearhead and releasing a large stagnant blob of thick, sensor clogging smoke. The high-intensity nanodefoliant was slowly licked away by wind and the rain, but would provide nearly fifteen minutes of cover for the group.
"You, take an element and start moving up the road and get eyes on those tanks. We need that Aschen armor guns hot once those aircutters come overhead."

The Lieutenant of Outlaw Two Nine lifted the binoculars to his goggles, activating the IR designator and watching a small load bar at the bottom of the optical screen feed the information to the team of four Reaper interceptors closing in from the east.
"This is Outlaw Two Nine -- air superiority strike inbound at five." He said, turning away from the ridgeline and addressing the first squad of Jumpers.
"We're gonna' carve this mountainside up, we should be minutes behind these Tauron fighters. Let's find us a trail, follow it, and nab us some heads."

Aschen 3rd Armored; The first of the two High-velocity TGMs seared towards one of the Airfrigates, nailing it dead on and causing the craft to shudder as a brilliant white bubble of energy dispersed the thermal and kinetic energies released by the weapon launched against it, the second TGM nailed a viper, which darted across the second Airfrigate to take the hit, going up in a brilliant explosion and sending debris in all directions. The two PCF Airfrigates split up, both of them gaining altitude, with the first one leaving behind a thick trail of smoke from the direct hit that not even the shields could entirely stop. The Century however, was gaining altitude and climbing to the upper-atmosphere to deliver it's payload. The Myrmidon tanks were slowly churning back online, while one of the Lynx IFV's powered on it's storm-bringer AAA system, sending streaks of green light high into the skies, leaving trails of steam and hot air as the light seared into the cloud layer, the rythmic 'pop-pop-pop' of the rapidly superheated air echoing in the valley.

"We have approaching Tauron armor, we're trying to get our tanks online and moving forward." The Tank commander explained. "If we can get Infantry into the hills, and decent AAA Out into the roadways, we might stand a chance." He said, watching the arcs of bullets streak into the skies.

; Fastball Six Seven was the first F/V-82 pilot on the scene, with his wingman Fastball Six Six; the two Interceptors quickly pinged their aircraft on as the designating information came from the soldiers and crewmen down below.
"This is Fastball at hoks two-thousand, guns guns guns down there. Wait for the fireworks boys." He said, banking the Reaper downward and slamming the throttle open as the two interceptors dropped from altitude; in tandem, the fuselage mounted dual 68mm autocannons opened fire on the designated targets, alternating bursts between the two airfrigates for several cycles. The high-velocity shells roared into their target, capable of splitting shields and still having enough punch to scour armor, until a pair of Starstreak TGMs launched from the pylon hardpoints of Fastball Seven's wings.
"This is Fastball Six Six, eyes on enemy fast-movers." The second Reaper confirmed the smaller Tauron contacts before diving into a strike from above, attempting to hose one Viper with the four 14.7mm high-velocity guns.
"Guns guns guns! They're breaking out quick -- you can't give 'em an inch." Fastball Six Six broke his descent and pulled hard to the left, skimming the far ranges of the airfrigates close-in weaponry which could turn the Reaper into mulch.

"This is Alpha-Three, the smoke is keeping them off but it's only sooner or later that they'll score a hit!"
