The smaller city is known all over Terra for their delicious export Gruul*. Gruelle is constructed of archaic buildings that have seen better days. The wind whips here constantly, perhaps a reason the facades are so weathered and the people so sparse. Nothing here is painted, just bald stone and raw material. In the mornings everything is drenched with dew. Fog settles down often and mixes with the smoke coming from the hearth fires. All in all, Gruelle on the surface seems like a miserable place to live, a location tourists would probably never stop by.

Beneath the harsh exterior of the town toils a robust culture of food and alcohol. Of course the people of Gruelle indulge in their prize export, just not before the eyes of foreigners. Gloating, as well as fanciful dress, is considered extremely unbecoming. The people of Gruelle quite like the humble and quieter life. Never here will you hear songs being shouted from the rooftops, or lovers strolling in public hand in hand. Most socialization is done in front of the hearth at home, or in the caves harvesting darberries. The majority of the people of Gruelle work in the caves or at the Gruul Winery, working with the darberries and procuring delicious drink to send around Terra.
* Gruul is a premium wine made from darberries, a very small berry which grows in clusters in the caves along the Bald Stretch.
The reason they are called darberries is they only grow in the dark, an unusual trait for anything biological. If exposed to sunlight before ripening, darberries become sugarless and mealy.

The small town of Gruelle sits in the side of the cliffs. A city of people who are painfully modest in public. Behind doors, however, the warm culture of this rock face city flourishes. Known for their tart, alcoholic export, branded Gruul.

Linus Trucidabunt pulled into the small long term parking lot. He paid the automated machine for a week, taking the slip it printed and stuffing it in his pocket. He could pay more remotely if he had to, later. For now it was time for a drink. Also, to meet up with the contact.

Finn Harra hopped off of the bike after parking it in the main lot. He gave a nod to the woman with him, heading straight for the Gruul Winery. Sol was setting quick - he didn't have time to waste. He didn't want time to waste.
Carmen Dellevon undid the wrappings she had made of her dress and shawl, reassembling into a booted beauty. She shot Finn a glance and hustled after him. It was beginning to get chilly. Carmen pulled her shawl tight.

The woman he was escorting was wanted, and he was beginning to feel cheated. Linus didn't want to cause alarm so he hesitated to send a text to the Luxxor people. Asking them for more money didn't seem the move. They were more likely to cut ties or put a hit on his head than admit they were involved in anything that jeopardized their little family over there.
