Pokemon League (Main Lobby)

115.75 INK

a part of The Multiverse, by Remæus.

The main lobby of the Pokemon League, it is a bustling place full of Trainers and their Pokemon. To the northwest, the Pokemon Center located within the building was positioned, with a fully ready staff. Right next to it was a small Poke Mart that sold almost every item ever. Straight ahead was an elevator that took passengers to either the offices, or the Challenger Hall for League Challenges. To the northeast, a Special Desk was there where one could access lost and found, see the latest news bulletins, as well as register to be a Trainer. In the western corner of the room, was couches and a television displaying Pokemon related programming. In the eastern corner, couches and a very official looking desk are positioned.

Scorpion01 holds sovereignty over Pokemon League (Main Lobby), giving them the ability to make limited changes.

"Hm. I think I'll be okay. Not a lot of girls your age have the strong back to carry someone like me," Titania huffed more out of being impressed. Jess would notice that the bed was big enough for two. "On the other hand, don't wanna get my oil clothes on the sheets. Maybe you should just go home and we'll finish this tomorrow." This was a subtle way of saying that she was going to change out.

"Unless you'd like to nurse me back to health, of course."

Jessica Stark seemed to be ready to answer this without much thought. "I used to help out back n' the ranch. Everything, y'name it..." she started in a slightly reminiscent tone. "M'folks liked t'joke that I did more work 'n them--Least I think they were jokin'..." she continued, apparently unsure about that last part. Finally, she addressed the all important question. "I'd hate t'leave a friend 'n distress..." she said, suggesting she wished to stay and help out. That or Titania had been too subtle.

"Yeah, sure, you can kick it with me if you want. Just gotta look after Nick on the weekends, I suppose, but you're gonna have to get yourself a job. Pension covers me, a growing girl like you, not so much." It was hard to determine whether Titania was referring to her severance pay from the League after quitting the Elites or Jessica's borrowed outfit.

As if to answer another unasked question: "Yeah, it feels like it fits a Gardevoir...because it does. Long story. Kinda relates to the one I told you in the cafe. Looks like we got time, though. Some things you're better off telling a good friend than a psychotherapist. You think you had a hard time with it, imagine what I went through!"

Jessica Stark tilted her head slightly. "Nick..?" she questioned, semi-ready to hear that this was the name of Titania's kid. "Don't worry 'bout me. I'll make due with what I can~" she continued in a rather enthusiastic tone. She seemed rather sure of herself. "It is rather snug..." she admitted as Titania went on, only to find herself being sucked into a story. "I've got all the time you need." she assured Titania, quite serious in tone. She was ready to hear more.

"Believe me, kid, you ain't heard nothin' yet." And so the sordid tale of Ahriman began, as only Titania could tell it because she lived through the nightmare and bore the brunt of it--in more ways than one.

Jessica Stark just sort of... quivered her lips as Titania finished her story. It all made.... no sense to her--At least the logistics made no sense, but she knew better than to accuse Titania of fibbing. She trusted this woman, and so she would take her word that it was all possible and real. "I--...I don't know what t'say." she admitted, more or less a tad overwhelmed.

"You could start with saying that you're glad it's over." And with that, Titania rolled over and pulled Jessica into a tight hug, crushing their busts against each other as the tears flowed. "I wouldn't wish what I went through on anyone. I would wish it on him, maybe, but he wouldn't have felt it like I did," she sobbed, going into full-on hysterics. Some salty tears would probably find their way into Jessica's outfit. Whatever. Friend in need here.

Jessica Stark felt a tad bad as Titania requested something she could've given from the start if she'd thought of it. It had just... blown her mind a tad. That was all. She wasn't trying to be rude! Before she could respond however she was distracted by Titania's movements, and was promptly pulled into a hug. Next thing she knew, they were having intimate contact again. From a boy, she probably would've been a bit freaked out, but despite the fact they'd already kissed she still felt like she could be open with Titania as far as sexuality went. Only girls here! No reason to be shy, right? Right? Shewrapped her arms around Titania, gently rubbing the other's back with the palms of her hands. "H-Hey... I'm sorry." she said, a concerned expression on her face. "You didn't deserve that..." she continued, her tone somewhat disheartened. She wasn't sure what to do, wans't sure how to help. I mean, really! Regardless of her good heart she simply wasn't the brightest mind around.

Well, a warm body, an open mind and a kind heart was all Titania really needed right now. "Th-th-thanks Jessica. I really needed to get that off of my chest." She returned the back rub out of instinct. "You're a good kid. Help yourself to whatever's in the fridge, I need to sleep after a good cry like that."

Jessica Stark smiled lightly, at least somewhat pleased with the results. "You're welcome..." she said in a sweetly gentle tone, hesitating a moment before continuing. "Thanks... That's what friends're for, right?" she asked.

A vortex of flame ignited in the rafters and swiftly dissipated. The wooden beams creaked as a short creature perched on them. Its long tail snaked along one of the beams and gripped tightly before he let his body fall. Glom's skin was deep red like fire. A thin coat of fur covered his lanky limbs. Two horns protruded from his forehead.

The imp landed on the ground with a thud. There was a sinister mischievous look in his eyes as he snapped his fingers. A poster materialized in his grip, which he promptly stuck to a nearby bulletin board before vanishing in a cloud of smoke.
