At the center of the galaxy, the gleaming towers of Coruscant symbolize the power and prosperity of Republic civilization—the result of thousands of years of progress and democracy. Coruscant has been capital of the Republic since its founding more than twenty thousand years ago. Home to the Supreme Chancellor and the Galactic Senate, Coruscant is the most politically prominent planet in the galaxy.
Protected by the legendary Jedi Order, Coruscant has always been the galaxy’s safest haven for law abiding citizens. All who would come in peace and partnership are welcome, and hundreds of alien species and star systems have come to be represented on Coruscant over time. These varied influences have made Coruscant the ultimate metropolis—a planet where anyone and everyone can find somewhere they belong.
Sitting at the zero point for hyperspace coordinates, Coruscant acts as the hub for all the galaxy’s trade routes. Though the city-world is without natural resources, it has long relied on member systems and allies to supply the raw goods for the population’s growth and prosperity. Though it has faced many difficulties in its long history, Coruscant has ever developed in a positive arc.
Despite the Republic’s initial losses in the Great War, the Jedi successfully repelled the Sith Empire’s attacks on the Core Worlds. Citizens believed they were safe on Coruscant, and for many, that led to an idyllic hope that the Republic would win the war. That hope was shattered when the Sith deceived the Republic’s leaders, sacked Coruscant, and destroyed the Jedi Temple.
Since the Treaty of Coruscant, the Senate has been forced to make difficult decisions on prioritizing the Republic’s resources. Focus has been put on shoring up defenses in the border worlds and rebuilding only the parts of Coruscant critical to governance and trade. Large parts of the city-world still remain in ruins, and many sectors have fallen under gang control.
Ultimately, the state of Coruscant is the state of the Republic—impressive and imperfect at the same time. Like the Republic as well, though, the strength of Coruscant lies not in its structures and systems, but in its people.

"Your mind tricks have no effect on me, jedi!".
Kayrani turned around, her saber meeting his. Using the Force, Kayrani pushed him back so she could breathe but he was upon her in an instant. His attacks were all backed by a deep hatred and a growing anger. Each blow hit harder then the last and it seemed as if he could go on forever. Kayrani remained calm and observant. "He's good...but...some of his swings are too wide..." She thought to herself as sweat poured down her head face. She saw an oppertunity and took it. She punched him in the gut as he raised his Saber high above his head then she hit him on the side of the head with the blunt side of her saber, knocking him to the ground. Kayrani then plunged her Saber into his chest but it instead met the hard floor. He rolled out of the way and got to his feet.
Kayrani looked to the side and motioned to one of the pillars. It detached itself and she then motioned towards him, sending it flying. He leaped high in the air and dodged it skill full. While he did this she charged him, but he landed and pointed at her with his free hand. She braced herself for a rough landing, expecting herself to be Pushed back or tossed at the wall but instead she received a rather delightful surprise. The Lightning hit her hard and held her in place. For the first time in a while Kayrani screamed.
"I want to see you beg! BEG!". The Sith Intensified the Lightning but Kayrani refused to give him the sick pleasure of hearing her scream. She gritted her teeth and held it in.
The pain was unbearable. If she had human eyes, she would have been crying a river by now and if she was any less of the person she was now, she would have begged for mercy.
Then it stopped and she dropped to the floor, smoke rising from her body. She could not believe she was alive but she knew if she didn't do something she'd die.
Kayrani managed to get herself to her feet and Pulled her Saber back to her. With a deep breath she resumed her defensive stance and said. "For your sake, I suggest you flee.". Her words were shaky and weak. Her foe grinned menacingly and readied his light saber. "I'm going to make you suffer before you die, Jedi.".

{ Master Cloudrunner}
A small Jedi starfighter busted outta Hyperspace over Coruscant. The small arrowhead shaped vessel detached it self form Its hyper drive ring witched drifted helplessly in space as the fighter zoomed toward the atmosphere carrying Jedi Master Jaden Cloudrunner of Alderon. as the ship approached. the planet Jaden looked at the massive city world that looked completely alien compared to the quite plan's of Alderon.
'' R-20, repeat the distress call that came from the council.'' The small dome headed droid responded with beeps and chirps. the replayed the message from
Master Jedrid.
Jaden nodded then pressed a few buttons releasing the controls of the vessel. " R-20 I'm takeing manuel control patch me though to the republic council. Encrypted channel priority-one.'' There was a chime signaling that the message was recording. " This is Jaden Cloudrunner responding to your distress. call I am currently in orbit over Coruscant. I await your signal for secure landing zone. Repeat this is Jaden Cloudrunner await your signal. standing by.''
With that Jaden set his ship in a gental orbit over corusant.

"This is an emergency broadcast to all Jedi that are within range, and are receiving this message. Those of you that don't know me, I am master Jedrid D' Angouleme, 3rd seat on the Jedi Council. I am seeking all members of the Jedi Order that are able to meet in the council building on Coruscant. The Sith have invaded the Jedi Temple, and we must proceed with caution. I repeat, all able Jedi must meet at the council building on Coruscant. You will be debriefed when I arrive on Coruscant. Jedrid out."

The ship came out of hyperspace on the far side of Coruscant, and stopped in orbit. Jedrid started to receive the message that Jaden had played to the council for landing. Jedrid didn't wait for Coruscant to send him any message. He took the ship out of autopilot and maneuvered the ship down toward the planet service. Jedrid had a mission that he was going to accomplish. He didn't know the results of what was going on in the temple all he knew is that he needed to get there, and fast.
Jedrid took the ship to as close a landing zone to the council building as he could. He landed the ship and opened the hatch. The Sith were waiting for them there though. As soon as the hatch came open the Jedi that were in the ship didn't wait for word from Jedrid. They shot out of the ship one by one, and came clashing saber to saber with any Sith that was in range. Jedrid slowly came to the hatch of the ship and descended the metal plank. A young Sith with a cocksure attitude came in quickly to take out Jedrid. Without hesitation the Jedi Master's saber went straight to his hand, and with a series of twirls in front of him he confused the young Sith and plunged the saber deep into the young ones chest.
Jedrid let the body of the Sith fall to the floor slowly, and once his body was on the floor he bent down and used his hand to close the Sith's eyes. Jedrid never enjoyed killing. Jedrid started for the entrance of the council building. He needed to check on the council and the supreme chancellor. The 20 of the Jedi that came off of the ship were locked in saber duels. Some of them were even dealing with 2 Sith at a time. Members of the old republic were standing guard to not let anyone into the building. The Sith had not touched the council building as far as Jedrid could tell, but there was a disturbance in the force that he didn't like one bit.
Jedrid was let into the council building along with 2 of his Jedi Knights. He headed directly into the supreme chancellor's chamber and negotiation by the Jedi and the Republic started immediately with the Chancellor begging the Jedi to aid them all.
Jedrid just frowned, "Supreme Chancellor the Jedi are always in the affairs of the Republic as peace keepers. The Sith have started a war that they will surely win unless we can have peace. Why in the world would peace talks with the Sith even happen? Your quest to be allies with the Sith will never happen. The Sith wish to control, and the Council will not approve of this." The Chancellor looked at the Jedi Master and then stood from the chair that he had been sitting in, "The Sith have promised peace as long as we cooperate with them..." Jedrid interrupted the Chancellor abruptly, "Yes, and did the senate know that the Sith have invaded the Jedi Temple here on Coruscant?"
The Chancellor looked at the Jedi Master and just shook his head. The Mon Calamari Chancellor was a coward, and would take any means out of a war, but this time he didn't have a choice. "Then the time for war has come. I am going to enact all military power to the Jedi. I want the Sith eradicated." The Chancellor ended. "The Jedi can only protect, we cannot be generals in a war. That would go against everything that the Jedi stand for. We are peace keepers, not warlords. Master Jedrid stood from his seat, and headed to the door. "I must meet with the rest of the council on this Chancellor, you ask a lot of the Jedi, and we don't know if we can fight a war for you."
Jedrid headed back down the hall to the place that he told all the Jedi to meet him. It was a massive chamber in the council building meant for all the members of the Republic to come and have all their meetings. Jedrid took a seat in one of the booths that were there and just waited. He was going to give all the Jedi that got the message a day before he set out for the Temple. Where the Sith were gaining ground. The temple has now been fully overrun, and Jedrid must act quickly if they are going to salvage the temple.

A rather large group of younglings ran into the room, they were led by 3 Padawans and Jedi Knight she knew as Kalik, easy pickings for this Sith Warrior. They all paused when they saw the two of them, one of the Padawans even drawing his saber.
The Sith grinned and pushed Kayrani, slamming her against the wall and charged at the group. Kayrani managed to recover quickly and Pulled him in, The Force tossing him like a rag doll back at her. (She had to step to the side or he would have slammed into her)
"Kalik, the Children! GO!" she shouted in the most commanding tone she could muster, she was in great pain. Kalik nodded and told her. "May the Force be with you.".
They ran down the corridor and took a sharp left, if one was not familiar with the temple they would have not known their was a door right there and they would have believed they phased right through the wall.
The sith got up, furious at what she had done. "What a kill joy you are...Where were we?".
They went at one another, meeting at the half way mark. Their light sabers crashed into one another and their they remained for what seemed an eternity. Then Kayrani pushed him back and began her assault. Her attacks were graceful but quick and each one had been mastered to the point that she could do them with immense confidence. Every so often he would attempt to get on the offensive but Kayrani gave him no such chance.
He was exceptionally skilled and avoided receiving any kind of injuries from her saber, which caused their engagement to be prolonged and Kayrani was getting to the point that she could not ignore her own aching injuries. She gambled and let him get the offensive, he took it eagerly. He attacked her, using fancy swings and spins to attempt to throw her off. Had she been a Padawan this would have made her very nervous but she remained calm and collected. His theatrics left him open and after he did a series of acrobatic jumps and spins, Kayrani managed to land a hit on his hand.
The purple saber dropped on the ground and so did the Sith. He his right arm at the wrist, staring at where his hand once was and then at the actual hand which still gripped the light saber.
The Sith cursed at her then retrieved his saber with his left hand. Kayrani leaped over him and landed behind him then she turned around, just as he got up, her light saber found it's way into the side of his chest. Kayrani closed her eyes, the cut was deep. The body dropped moments after. "So blinded by rage...". she muttered. "Poor fool.". Her saber was aimed at his neck now for she had moved in to see if he was still alive. He wasn't.
Kayrani remained where she was. Staring at the body. Thinking. Not about her kill. He was dead and while that was an unfortunate mishap, he kinda deserved it. She was thinking about what to do next. Should she carry out her search and possibly run into even stronger Siths and maybe die OR she could ensure Kalik and his group made it to safety. Taking into account how long she had been fighting with the Sith, she made her decision. Kayrani pressed the button on her light saber and placed the hilt at her side then ran down the hall and went the same way the others had gone earlier.
