Introduction
There are peaple who can tranform into aniamls, and they been in hiding untill one day, one of the falls in love with a human, and soon have a child with them. Ever since that day, they lived alongside humans, but were still hated. The creatures now attend the same school with humans, although they are often bullied. They all came together, and were all living in the same town. They quickly became freinds, although there were still tensions bettween some animals. Full-breeds are very rare, and there are only four known to be alive.

“Very violent are we” Tina said to Garrand with a raised eyebrow. Kicking someone in the face wasn’t a common thing to see. However, Tina didn’t comment of it anymore. After all, who was she to judge? Tina had liked the reaction she had gotten from the group. At least they knew how to take a joke, she hoped. They seemed to enjoy her humor, but she wasn’t really sure. One moment they could be laughing, the next they could be chasing her down the street. Tina didn’t worry about it. Instead, she went back on her receipt search. It didn’t take her long to pull out the receipt. Luckily for her, Garrand had already pulled out his wallet. Tina listened to him speak, but shook her head in response.
“How can someone ruin a good thing?” she said to herself. She had never met anyone who would spike coffee. She’s known people who spiked soda or juice, but never coffee. It just seemed strange. Her gaze slowly looked up at the orange haired male and then at the one hundred dollar bill in his hand. Tina couldn’t believe her eyes. Was he actually paying for coffee using a one hundred dollar bill? She couldn’t even remember the last time she had seen one of those in the café.
“I can’t break that” she said calmly. Then she held up to receipt for him to see.
“The coffee only cost twenty five dollars. I don’t carry that type of change on me. I don’t think I’m allowed to carry more than twenty dollars on me.” Tina slowly let her hand rest of the table. Garrand was very nice, but no meant no! Tina didn’t say that though. She just let a small smile appear on her face, and answered his question.
“Maybe a glass of water then” she said with a defeated sigh.
“Quick question” she said to Garrand. Tina slipped her hand in her pocket and pulled out a pack of Blacks.
“Can you smoke in here?” she said as she shook her pack.

Lucian leaned back in his chair looking at the empty classroom wondering if he showed up to class way to early or something… the sound of doms voice broke him out of his trance “So what did you do over the summer?” Lucian scratched his chin looking up at the ceiling, the music was filling it and it was pretty, he wondered if they could hear them since they were only about 10 feet away, but then again it didn’t matter did it?
“Stayed up late, woke up early and dragged my lazy body to football camp, then dragged it back to watch movies and sleep a little more. Watched some movies, just been lazy I guess, what about you dom?” Lucian was staring at the white board, he was paying only half attention really, and Dom droned on about his exciting life of drinking and smoking which sounded to Lucian more like work than fun. Dom talked again about the animal folk to which Lucian rolled his eyes “Don’t know why you have that weird fetish…”
Dom gave a small innocent shrug with his smirk on his face “hey they are kinda hot, don’t know why you don’t like em” Lucian closed his eye and spoke his voice bouncing of the walls “Its not that I don’t like them, I don’t care one way or the other about them. I’m just not attracted to them…”
Dom rolled his eyes, and crossed his arms “your not attracted to anyone, girls, or the half-breeds. Come on there has to be one half-breed you think is cute” Lucian leaned back in his chair and honestly thought about it turning it around in his mind “I like Sandra Bullock so I do like someone… also the girl who plays Bella in twilight… though iv only seen New Moon truthfully but she’s kinda cute, animal folk…” his burrows furred in thought “Well I suppose the bat girl over there is cute, I don’t like fur but she doesn’t have any just the wings and I don’t mind those to much; see I don’t hate everyone” to this comment Dom laughed and Lucian changed the subject to something he knew Dom and all teen guys cant resist talking about it seemed: Call of Duty.

April twitched still on top of the bookshelf as her ultrasonic hearing activated automatically at the word 'bat'. She drowned out all sounds from her mind and tuned in on that one sentence, tilting her head. "--bat girl over there is cute" April squeaked. People normally found her annoying or scary being a bat..not 'cute'. People who were furry or had animal ears and a tail similar to her new friend Renai were the cute ones. She hugged her knees and buried her head, squeaking once more. She glanced at her classmate who called her cute then returned to burrying her head as her wings perked up then dropped down. "I don't have a cute tail and soft furry ears.." she muttered to herself, staring behind her at her small black thick wings. She buried her head again and sighed. Her wings perking up then dropping down once more. She brought her head up for a short period of time to clap at Renai's lovely playing with a smile, then dropped her head onto her knees trying to avoid looking at the other classmate.

Renai was just finishing up the song when she caught April mumbling something. Her hearing was pretty good but she had been in the music to much and had missed whatever April had said. However, she was able to pick up on the girls gloom. Renai had absolutely no idea what was wrong, and was a little worried if she had perhaps done something. "umm...April" she spoke softly to the girl sitting on top of the shelf. "Is...something bothering you?" Her ears twitched slightly as she tried to remember anything that could have cause April to look as she did.

Lucian turned his head, something squeaked.. he looked around the classroom totally confused, Dom tapped his shoulder, "Oui, luke whats wrong?" Lucian turned back "you didnt hear the squeak? It was loud.." Dom rose his eyebrow "Dude.. it was nothing"
Lucian shrugged and they talked some more, but he heard the squeak again and turned in his chair, looking at the girl with the wings... it had to be her, he was sure of it "See again, I think shes making it." Dom rolled his eyes "Sure, thats the reason your looking at her. Go say hi" Lucian was torn at the moment between telling Dom thats not it, but than he gets teased and it goes into a full circle, so with a tired sigh Lucian stood up and walked over his hands in his pocket. April looked down from the shelf at her friend Renai. She shook her head. "I'm..okay" she said with a slight smile whilst hugging her knees tightly, trying to convince her friend and herself at the same time. She went back to burrying her head until she heard a male voice below. "Hi, im Lucian. Looks like we have the same class, its nice to meet you."
April squeaked as her wings reacted to the voice by wrapping around her protectively in an instant. Her black hat falling off her head onto the floor. Is the human speaking to me..? She bobbed her head up to look down. "I'm..April....hi" she said softly as her wings slowly returned to flapping behind her back. She hugged her knees tighter. "Nice to meet you too" The tip of her wing moved to point at Renai. "And she is my friend Renai.. who is your friend?" April said uncomfortably. Wasn't he avoiding us halfbreeds a moment ago.. April was glad she was up on the shelf. It gave her a better sense of security.

Renai was still worried about her friend but her thoughts were interrupted by one of the boys who had entered the room. Sometime while she had been practicing her music he had walked over to join them and was introducing himself to them. April squealed again which further confused Renai. Renai reached down to pick up April's hat though.
Truthfully Renai was really trying to remain pretty small. It was hard enough talking to April... she really didn't want another person just yet. When April introduced herself though Renai was forced to come out a little bit. She tried to say something but could barely even manage some semblance of a smile.

Lucian was unsure how to act, they seemed afraid? was that the word he was looking for? It didnt make much sense to him as he wasn't going to bite, that required a lot of effort, and the staggering amount of sexual harassment charges definitely wasn't worth it.

I guess humans get uncomfortable around us halfbreeds too? It looks like that.. she thought as Lucian scratched his head. April tilted her head at the human. Lucian watched with interest as she flew... flew, he didn't know she could do that. Wings yes, but flying no. He would be lying if he said he wasnt relieved that at least April didn't hate him, would defiantly make class not as awkward. Lucian laughed at her comment at pretending they didn't exist cause truthfully... he had done that and had originally planed on doing that funny how life punches you in the face like that..

Renai quietly handed back April's hat. She wasn't trying to be rude... just... she was a little shy. Renai was still a little shocked that April could fly. It made sense with her wings but the fact she had gotten onto the bookshelf at first didn't quite click in her mind until she got off. Renai had been listening to the conversation but when it reached the part about this being April's first time meeting a human, Renai cringed. She actually had to shut her eyes and concentrate on getting the memories out of her head, she actually felt a jab of animosity to April over that comment. She quickly tried to shut the memories out and get back to the present. "umm.... Hi Lucian" she said quietly not sure what else to say. "I'm... I'm sorry, It's...difficult for me to talk to others. I... I... I just wanted you to know... it's me, not you" She was still kinda half hiding behind her desk but she needed to say that...

"Thankyou" April said smiling at Renai, placing the cap back on her head before giving Lucian a side glance. She chuckled as he tilted his head too. I think that's a friendly gesture..copying. She blinked after he spoke "But the thing is.. I have seen humans before.." She turned to face him then looked down, tapping her bottom lip with her index finger trying to think of the right words to explain. "But I haven't met any as in 'talked' to any..no. Most humans keep away from me.. I don't think they like bats all that much, is that true?" she asked with a saddened look then shrugged. "No matter, that all changed today. I met some!" she exclaimed with a big grin returning, putting her fingers in peace signs. She tipped her hat down a bit more and turned to Renai noticing she was half hiding behind her desk. April sat down on the floor beside her friend's chair hoping Renai would gain some confidence with her by her side. She placed her finger on the floor and started moving it around as if trying to draw a picture. She looked back up at Lucian. "Hey your friend looks lonely by himself..aren't you going to invite him over or..?" she asked, tilting her head again.

Lucian was caught off guard by he question of bats, and he honestly thought about it, but his thoughts were stopped by her saying it was no matter so he shrugged it off. He turned to glance at Dom who was giving him a thumbs up expression and Lucian sighed "Yea..." He wasnt sure he wanted to, Dom was.. brunt and had a thing for animal folk, but he couldnt really say that, she was so excited.
So with a nod he smiled and waved Dom over who wasted no time in scrambling over. Dom had a happy go lucky smile on his face and waved to the two animal folk "Hi, I love meeting new half-breeds." he looked over at April and winked "and your the first one, lucians ever called cute in this school."

Something clicked in the back of Renai's mind, a little something she had forgotten with the arrival of the other students over the course of the last 30 minutes or so. It even made her laugh at loud. She quickly stifled the laugh though and her cheeks turned rosy red embarrassed to have done such a thing. "You guys were looking for the right classroom" she giggled again. "Your in the wrong place... This is an empty classroom I use to practice in." Renai felt weird, she felt light and well... happy. She couldn't even remember the last time she laughed. Henry was right, coming here would be good for her if it could make her feel... happy. She was still giggling a little as she placed her cello back in the box and stood up to leave. "I'll take you guys to the right room....if you want"

"The school seems huge..got lost a fair few times" she said in deep thought answering Lucian's question. "How do you find the academy?" she asked, tilting her head. She paused slightly embarrased after what Dom said. "Definitely would have noticed huh?" April asked, wearing a nervous smile. "Gosh..I didn't know I stuck out that much.." she said softly, rubbing the back of her head. "I'm guessing i'm the only 'batty' one around here..? How awkward.." she stated her thought out loud. April stopped rubbing her head and blinked turning at hearing Renai giggle. "You're in the wrong place... this is an empty classroom I use to practice in." "Oh...right" April said, tapping her chin. I got so carried away following the music.. April stopped getting lost in her own thoughts and smiled seeing Renai continue giggling as she put away her cello. She seems happy.. maybe she's not as shy as before. "I'll take you guys to the right room....if you want" Renai offered. April grinned widely. "Lead the way" she said joyfully, clapping her hands together with glee.

XD Yeah prolly.
I'm not being too terribly creative today.... so I'm kinda reusing an archetype I used from a very old RP I did.... Similar human to halfbreed relations so I figure it could potentially work..... I don't know, I'm still going over my character and I still have to write her regardless. We'll see what pops out of my head for this..... So far it's looking kinda dark :D

Harry Dalwind:
Age: 62
Old navy Coot who after his 20 year service in the military left to join the police force. He has been the Police Chief for 6 years and under his command the police have never been more efficient and the crime rate so low. He has never been married, and never had a child, his work was his wife and his ship was his child, it was much the same after his retirement from the navy. Something broke in him on the night of Renai's rescue though. He had led such rescue operations before, they were horrible but not new to him. Still, something changed in the old man. He didn't know what to do with Renai and after a few months decided to adopt the small girl of 12. He's not the best at showing emotion but he does his best to raise the small girl with as much love as possible. He's still a little confounded as to why Renai is still such a small girl, but he supposes it must be genes.
Yeah... hehehe forgot to mention, Renai is small, doesn't look much older then an eight or nine year old. :D

Alright, Now that I can FINALLY post, I'd like to reserve a spot for a halfbreed. She's technically already half done (been for 2 days now >.<) I just need to type her up. Due to the time at the moment this will take place tomorrow sometime. This is just an FYI post.

In order from being in the "Gang" longest....
1. Vecelo - A no-nonsense man, and the founder of the gang. He's very serious, and very rarely plays around, but he's by all means, not a bad person. ?????

2. Reedar - One of Vecelo's best friends, and more importantly, a mute. The entire gang has never ever heard him say a word, not even Vecelo. (You've seen him.) Human.
3. Hatchet - A trick name, actually pronouced "A'Shey". He's a young and upcoming competitor in the boxing world, with a very good name for himself. He's very energetic and cocky. Human.

4. Harriet - Hatchet's younger sister, and also an aspiring fighter. However, she prefers Jui-Jitsu to boxing. Human.

5. Kurani - A highschool dropout whom's particularly good at racing motorcycles. She's won numerous street races by miles. Human.

6. Mordekai - Garrand's best friend, and a living tower. He stands at a massive seven foot tall, and weighs 330 lbs. He's easily referred to as a "Kitty Brick Wall", as his arms are as 'round as mellons. (You've already seen him) Full Blood.
7. Cesar - An old war veteran, out to make his name known again. He runs an underground fighting ring, and is concidered very wealthy...as well as one hell of a fighter himself. Human.

8. Androin - A stuck-up, hard headed dog half breed, whom really seemed to be along for the ride. He really doesn't stand out that much, other than the fact his name is... really wierd. Half-breed.

9. Ray - While he might not look it, he is actually a half blood, whom has undergone experimental surgery to rid himself of all his animal-like aspects. However, Garrand still tends to say he's "Got the chin of a hawk." (You've already seen him.) Half-breed.
10. Berreta - The second newest of the gang, Beretta is probably the prettiest member...However, if you told her that, she'd probably shoot you. She's an ace with guns of all kinds, and prefers "Glock" firearms. Human. (You've already seen her.)
11. Garrand - .... Duh?
And there you have it. All the people in the gang. By the way, the gang is titled "All Blood", by the all sorts of people inside it. Full, half and no blooded animal-people are more than welcome to join...but they have to pass the initiation. They have to do one of 5 things.
1. Out-drink Lyon - ...Probably the easiest of the tasks. Lyon gets drank under the table by Beretta, and she can't take more than a few shots.
2. Make Mordekai flinch - This is very hard. Probably the hardest. If you can make the man flinch by hitting him, you need a medal.
3. Arm Wrestle Reedar - You don't have to beat him. You just have to come out with an arm left.
4. Go a "Cannonizing" in Cezar's ring. Basically, beat up a bunch of random thugs. As many as you can before you get knocked down.
5. Convince Beretta to sleep with you. This one was really created to be a joke, but the guys agreed that if you could actually do it, then they'd let you in.

Just so you know I'm not pulling these guys out of thin air, I'm going to have a list of them on the OOC board shortly. They're only going to fill social roles, and probably not going to have any significant value to the Roleplay, honestly.

1.) Yeah sure you can be a drop out. it's not like this is going to take place only at school.
2.) it means they have tails, ears etc, with a mix of personality. so if you're a fox half-bred you'll be sneaky, sly, etc...
& you can also have the animal's senses. strong sense of hearing, smelling, etc.. ;P
