Ackley had been in the cab for about a half hour now, after getting off the plane in LAX. He had gotten to see some of California, although it probably wasn't near as pretty as other parts were. They finally entered Santa Monica though, and Ackley got jumpy. Their house was in Santa Monica so it couldn't be too long. Soon, he'd even be able to see the ocean. He hadn't been so excited for anything until today. First reason was that he was let on this show. Every time he watched the show, he wanted to apply more. It looked like such a fun experience, and he was ready to have some fun. The second reason was that he'd finally be able to hopefully start his acting career in Hollywood.

"My name is Ackley. I am twenty two and I'm from Brooklyn, New York," said Ackley in a monotone voice.

When they finally arrived to their house, Ackley's face lit up even more. The house was amazing. He had expected a great house, but this was even better than what he had guessed. Plus, it was right on the beach: something he had hoped for but didn't completely expect. He pulled out his bags from the trunk and moved into the house, hoping that he was one of the first there so he'd have a good pick of rooms.

The inside of the house was really nice. He had already found a home movie theatre, steam room and pool table. There was one bedroom on the ground floor that had three beds inside. It also had it's own bathroom. He walked upstairs and saw one bedroom with two beds and a balcony, and another two/three? bed bedroom with a balcony. The two bedrooms shared a bathroom.

"Although I want a two bed bedroom over a three, I like the idea of a bathroom shared by three as apposed to four/five."

Ackley ran back downstairs and put his stuff on the bed closest to the bathroom and farthest from the huge windows. He then walked back out to the living room to wait for more to arrive.

Kate was sat lounged in the passenger seat of her eldest brother's car. Her shades sat on the bridge of her nose, the reflection of the bushes from the side of the freeway ran across the lenses. Kate had been to Santa Monica before, but only to visit the Santa Monica pier with her friends during her high school days, long before she moved out to her apartment back in Huntington Beach. She answered her brother's questions of, 'would I need to kick anyones ass, especially the guys?' Kate rolled her eyes, the small smile on her face, revealing her pearly whites.

"My name is Kate, I am twenty two years old and I come from Huntington Beach, California," the brunette said with a small smirk to match her dulcet voice.

Bentley was then helping Kate unload her numerous bags from the backseat of the car, embracing his little sister before saying their goodbyes. Then she turned to the house, she's never been in a house this HUGE. This house was the kind that people would pay ridiculous money for down in Huntington. Kate slung her purse over her shoulder, tugging along a rolling suitcase with a smaller bag sitting and leaning against the handle railing. She made her way to the front door, slowly opening it to see the amazing house for the first time inside. Her face brightened with a small smile, shouting a 'Hello' incase someone else made it to the building before her. Kate shut the door behind her, hearing it make a small click as it closed.

Kate made it alittle quick to go upstairs to see a bedroom with a bed on each opposite sides of the room. She chose the bed closest to the window, throwing the suitcase on the comforter along with her purse and smaller suitcase before heading back downstairs. She pulled her shades up to see a man lounging in the living room, "Hi, I'm Kate."

"I'll just say this, as soon as I walked into this house I was like, "some idiot better not ruin this experience for me."

The weather was warm outside and Angel loved this. She loved the sun and its' rays warming her skin. She was listening to her I-Pod in the cab that was taking her to the house in Santa Monica. Admiring the sights, she recalled some parts of downtown LA. Although quite poor, she had travelled a lot with modeling and had seen most of USA and even a part of Europe. But her goal was to become someone important, someone that could make a change, and for that she needed finaincial support, and that's why she was in this show.

The cab pulled outside a big, fancy house. Angel taking her bags took into the view, and with a smile plastered on her face, she entered the house. She had her hair loose, was wearing a simple black top, shorts and high heels. If you didin't know her Angel looked rich.

"Hi. I'm Angel from Tallahassee,FL." she used a simple, yet a tad bit sensual voice to the camera.

She looked a bit arround the house and decided to choose the bedroom downstaired because it was at easy access. When she walked back in the livingroom, a girl and a guy were in there as well.

"Hello" she offered them a warm smile. "I'm Angel"

As Nash sat in the cab he looked out. The only other places in his life he had been too other than his home state was Alaska and Washington. Alaska was pretty despite the winter months. It wasn’t often he had gone to the beach except for that one time in Washington. A part of him was hoping that this would turn out as well as he thought it would. Once the cab stopped he handed him some money before getting out. He went to the trunk and pulled out the black suitcase and duffel bag. He was dressed in a pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. Sneakers were on his feet.

”I’m Nash, twenty-five, and from Cameron, North Carolina.” Nash said with a slight hint of an accent on the lina of Carolina.”

Nash walked into the house and after giving a quick look at the other rooms went back to the bedroom on the ground floor. He walked in and noticed the other two beds were claimed. He tossed the duffel on the bed closest to the window before putting his suitcase down in front of it. He walked back out to the living room. It was there he saw people. He started toward the living room.

Derek had been waiting impatiently in the cab to finally get to the house and was so relieved when he saw the house and they stopped. He had seen so many nice houses before then and every time, hoped that was where they were staying. This was one of the best he saw and they actually stopped. It was so surreal to him that he was actually a part of this.

"My name is Derek Kingser, I'm 23 and I'm from Chicago."

Derek took his bags and walked up to the front door, still amazed that he'd actually be staying here for the next two months. This would hopefully be the best summer of his life, if nobody messes around and screws it up for him. Derek was guessing he'd get along with the girls, but he had gotten so many rude looks and comments from other guys that didn't like gays, that Derek wasn't sure what would happen.

He opened the door to the house and walked into the foyer and the living room where there were now two men and two women. The women were both gorgeous and the guys weren't too bad themselves, but Derek assumed they were both straight. These types of shows never let on more than one minority of any kind on at a time, and Derek took care of both racial and sexual oreintation so they were good for that.

"Hey guys," he said smiling to the group. He pulled off his sunglasses and waved slightly. "I'm Derek."

"I am gay, and I'm not planning on hiding that from the roommates. I'm just a little wary on whether the guys can handle it or not. Maybe even the girls."

Layla wore her aviators, sitting in the cool cab and looking outside of the window, which was rolled down. The whoosh of the air made her hair flutter all around her face, which she was constantly pushing back. She was excited. This could be the adventure of a lifetime. Like something out of a dream. It still hadn't registered to her yet.

"Hi! I'm Layla Buscoe, I'm 21 and I'm from the lovely NYC." She said with a smile at the camera.

Once the cab stopped at the house, Layla looked outside with shiny, excited eyes. She quickly paid the driver and climbed out the car slowly, her eyes not leaving the house once. He grabbed her bags and set them next to her, and she quickly thanked him before he pulled off the curb. She finally tore her eyes off the house, a small smile on her face, before grabbing her bags and heading up to the place she'd be saying for the next two months. It still hadn't fully set in yet. And she was here.

Considering the fact that Layla was very friendly, she hoped she wouldn't have any enemies. But she knew it was bound to happen. Most times, her enemies were just girls that were jealous of her. She always was better friends with guys than girls. But that had started to change recently, and she hoped it would happen here, also. And as for her single status, she wasn't jumping at the idea of getting a boyfriend here. But if it happened, it happened. She wouldn't balk away from it.

As Layla approached the house, she quickly lifted her sunglasses off of her eyes and placed them ontop of her head, a smile on her face as she opened the door. She quietly closed it behind her, before turning around and seeing the people she was to be living with.

"Hi, I'm Layla." She said, a smile still on her face.

"I'm really excited about this! I'm a little nervous about sharing a room, because I do like my personal space, but I think I can live with it."

Caydence hugged her brother tight as she was about to board the plane. "I will miss you Ryan, I love you." She had promised to keep in touch with him as much as possible. She took a deep breath as she took her seat on the plane. She couldn't believe that she was on her way to LA. She had always dreamed of going to LA, being from the est coast and all.

"I'm Caydence Green, I'm 23 and I am from Atlantic City, New Jersey" She said to the camera with pep in her voice.

She finally arrived in LA and found her cab who was taking her to the house. She grabbed her bags and loaded them into the car. She was in total shock as she drove down the street. "This place is amazing." She said starring out the window. She looked up as the cab driver laughed at her comment. "First time huh?". Caydence blushed a little "Yeah, I guess I'm just a little...star struck so to say."

When the pulled up to the house Caydence started to get a little nervous. She had watched the show before but she still had no idea where this could go. She grabbed her bags and tipped the driver. "Thank you." She said as she turned to the house. As she walked in she could tell most everyone was already here. She looked at the crowd of people. "Hi, I'm Caydence." She said with a sweet smile.

Ackley counted the heads, as new people began to enter. There were now seven of them, so they were all here. For some reason there were only seven beds in the house instead of eight like usual. There was one less guy this year, which was fine with Ackley. He liked girls more than guys as friends for the most part anyways. He kept quiet and stayed on the couch as they all introduced themselves and shook hands.

"I like to study the people before I fully introduce myself. Their looks, clothes, personality...shoe size." Ackley smiled slightly, seeing the reaction of some of the cameramen to what he just said.

Once he was done looking over everyone, probably creeping out a couple of them, he stood up and said, "I'm Ackley." He then left the group and went to the kitchen humming quietly to himself. "Anyone thirsty?" he asked, trying to be polite. Ackley needed to make a good impression on these people so they could get used to him before he showed his full personality. It could sometimes scare people off from ever wanting to befriend him.

He looked through the fridge. All he could see for now were water bottles and Monster energy drinks. Apparently this season was sponsered by Monster was what Ackley thought. Otherwise there would be tape or something over the logo. He pulled out a Monster: M-80 and waited to see if anyone else wanted a drink.

Kate looked around as the others began to come in, exchanging smiles and 'hello's, introducing themselves. She mentally counted everyone in the room, everyone was here.. Although she only stampeded to her room to claim her bed, not even going around to see the others. Kate walked over to the couches, sitting down with her arm rested on the arm, legs crossed. Then her attention drew over to Ackley, watching him walk out of the room. Kate then looked over at all the others, she noticed more girls than guys? Looks like she's gonna be having fun for the next three months.

"I really hope that since there's more girls than guys in the house, nothing gets too chaotic. Which I know it will so what was the point in saying that?" Kate confessed, ending it with a small giggle.

"Anyone thirsty?" Ackley's voice echoed from the kitchen, getting up from the couch to walk into the next room. Ackley was grazing through the fridge as she walked over, "so what are we stocked up on?" She made her way around him, looking herself what was sitting on the refridgerator shelves. Water bottles and Monsters?? There seemed to be more Monsters than the waters themselves, she didn't really enjoy the taste of energy drinks to begin with. "Scratch that, I think I'll just stick to the LifeWater that I brought along with me. Thank you though Ackley," She admitted.

Kate isn't exactly the instant bestfriend person, kind of took alittle more than just saying a few small things then becoming buddies. No no. She walked out to the backyard, her eyes catching the pool that seemed to stretch out to the other end of the Santa Monica home. Kate then walked back in, "If you wanna hang in the back with me, you are more than welcome to." She addressed to everyone as Kate went back up the stairs, rummaging through her suitcase until she found her swimsuit. Kate changed in the bathroom, tossing her clothes to her bed before walking back downstairs, making her way out to the back to lounge in a poolchair, sunglasses over her eyes.

Derek greeted everyone, and then took his bags. He still hadn't found a room, but from the looks of it, he didn't have much of a choice. Derek noticed that Layla still had her bags as well, and he thought he might as well room with a girl if he could. "Hey. Layla right?" He walked torwards the stairs to lead to the second floor. "We should room together," he said, motioning for her to follow.

"I'd definitely rather like to room with a girl. If I roomed with a guy, he'd end up getting weirded out at some point when he found out I was gay. I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. And Layla looks like my kind of girl," said Derek giggling a bit.

He walked up to the second floor and found an empty room with two beds. He layed his bags on the bed closest to the balcony doors and windows. It overlooked the beach, and it was a good view. Once he set his bags down, he went out on to the balcony to look out to the beach as the sun was beginning to set. He looked down and noticed Kate was swimming. "Ooh, I could use a swim," he said quietly to himself.

Derek went back inside and changed into his swimsuit quickly and went out to the backyard where Kate was wading through the pool alone. "Mind if I swim with you?" he asked, but not really waiting for an answer. Instead, he jumped in and began to paddle around. The water was nice and cool, but not too cold. It was perfect.

People were coming and coming in the house, until it was full. Angel kept a smile on her face, being polite and trying to remember all their names.

"I didin't come here to get into a fight. I came here to have fun and win."

After everyone was there, while some were making conversations or others getting drinks, she walked to her room-to-be and quickly changed into a swimsuite. She put a robe and sunglases on and walked to the pool. A guy and a girl were already there.

"Looks like you guys beat me to it." she said smiling, taking her robe of and swiftly getting in the pool.

Nash followed Ackely to the kitchen. He saw the waters and Monsters in the fridge.

"I'm Nash by the way." Nash said as he introduced himself before he was going to ask for anything.

"I'd take one of those Monsters please." Nash said.

"My mom taught me right. Always mind your manners though I'm not sure how that will work out as time goes on."

Nash wasn't interested in much else except for maybe getting to know some of the housemates who haven't gone out for a swim. Nash wasn't interested in that right now. He might do that at some point later but right now that was the last thing on Nash's mind. He didn't want to seem like he was hovering so he backed up until he was standing in the entrance of the kitchen.

Layla smiled when Derek approached her. She was usually a smiley, chill person. But then again, she could be a vixen in a second. Layla had mutiple personalities, but usually stuck with her main bubbly one. It made people attracted to her.

"Yeah, we should! It's Derek, right?" Layla asked, raising one thin eyebrow.

"Derek seems nice! I'm glad someone wants to room with me, because if he hadn't asked, I'd probably still be standing downstairs in the entrance, looking for a roomie."

Layla walked into the room, looking around and smiling again slightly. She saw Derek take the bed next to the balcony. Layla wasn't very picky, and she almost always went with whatever. She took the other bed, pushing her suitcases underneath it and setting her two bags ontop of it. She heard Derek mumble that she could go for a swim, and Layla decided she could use one, also. She dug around in her largest bag, until she found her silver string bikini. She smiled as she picked it out, before grabbing her grey towel and heading to the bathroom.

Once she came back out, changed in her bathing suit, she pulled her hair out of the quick bun that she had placed it in, letting it fall loosely down her shoulders and to her mid back. It was a soft wavy caramel color, and Layla shook it out before placing the black scrunchie on her wrist. She tossed the towel over her shoulder, before digging through her bag once more, finding her reflective aviators. She placed them on the top of her head, before heading downstairs and out the back door with everyone else. She noticed that there were already three people in the pool, so Layla set her towel down on a chair, before pulling her sunglasses over her light eyes and going in the pool, careful not to get too close to anyone too soon.

((Oh yeah since this is a reality show type rp, bleep out profane words that would usually be bleeped out on tv. Haha, its nbd but I thought I'd let you guys know :P))

Ackley tossed a Monster to Nash, and then moved to his own, uncapping it and then took a long drink of it. Something about energy drinks made him sick to his stomach, and he didn't even know why he took one. It was mainly because he needed to get some type of drink in his throat because he hadn't had any sort of drink since he was on the plane. "Oh sh*t, that's gross," said Ackley, wiping off his mouth at the taste.

He dumped the rest out in the sink and then walked out into the living room, deciding what he should do first. He kind of wanted to swim, but decided against it. He wasn't one to follow and even though it wasn't important, he decided he'd go to something by himself and if anyone wanted to join him, he was fine with it.

"Yeah, we're definitely going shopping tomorrow for some better food," he said and then left. He went out to the back and waved to the people in the pool and then noticed that there was also a basketball court. There was also a rack with six basketballs on it. Did they think that they would need that many balls? Ackley shrugged and went to the rack and took one and began to shoot hoops.

"I'm not the best at basketball or anything, but I still think it's fun."

Derek began to wade around the cool water as two more girls joined in with him and Kate. He also saw Ackley wander off to the opposite side of the yard to play basketball. He seemed like he enjoyed being apart from people, or he was just a bit strange, which was always fine with Derek. He shrugged and payed his attention to the girls in the pool with them.

"Why am I the only guy in the pool? These women are hot, and the only guy with them in the pool is gay. Okay?"

"So, where are you girls from?" he asked, wading around calmly, and nearing closer to them. "I'm from Chicago. I'm studying architecture," he said, deciding to start it off since he was asking.

((Short :P))

Nash caught the Monster. He normally didn’t drink energy drinks but it was one of those things he would get used to. He wasn’t used to them but he would deal. He thought he was going to follow everyone out. First he stopped by his room. He pulled his shirt off and tossed it on the bed. He also grabbed the sunglasses and sunscreen from his bag. He walked outside. He sat down in the chair. He set the Monster on the concrete as he pulled his sunglasses on.

”I don’t go swimming that often. It’s not that I can’t swim I just don’t. At least not yet. Maybe when I get more comfortable with the people in this house.”

Nash then started to apply the sunscreen. He worked so it was a thorough job. No need to get sunburned. Once finished he leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes. He didn’t have that much going for him. He wanted to observe first and see how others thought about him first.
