Just a thief...
Midnight is very quiet, and doesn't trust others often. Despite the fact that she doesn't like trusting others, she hates being on her own. She tries to give people a chance because of this, but doesn't usually stay anywhere long. The only time she'd be willing to approach someone would have bee if they were hurt. She is very easily frightened, and will not hesitate to run and hide. She often accounts her survival to being able to hide whenever necessary, and being able to run rather quickly. Sometimes, however, her curiosity gets the best of her, and she will sit and watch events and people from a distance. Midnight isn't much of a fighter...actually, she can't really fight. She allows her lack of strength to block her, and hasn't bothered trying to build it up; even if she hit as hard as she could, you might not even feel it. She only has speed, and a small figure she can fit into small areas to get away and hide where she can't be reached.
Midnight carries around a small bag. Inside, she only has one of her old favorite books - an old collection of children's fairy tales - that she reads from time to time, the most recent photo taken of her with her family, an old compass her brother used to use, a small piece of blanket, and a few items for first-aid. She keeps a small knife at her hip, though this is usually used for cutting food rather than enemies.
She grew up in a small family, with only her parents and older brother. She used to tag around after her brother all the time, refusing to be on her own, ignoring him complaining about her being clingy. when the house was raided, she could only hide herself away, trying to ignore the fact that her family was still out there. She left as soon as she found an opening, but came to hate the fact that she couldn't help. Despite this, she never bothered trying to fight; only hiding, and still hates herself for it. As she left, she took her bag, which already had her book and photo in it, and took her brother's old compass and knife, using the knife to cut a piece of the blanket from her parents bed. She has been on her own, wandering around, since.
