Hair Color/Length
Maiyu's hair is a rusty orange color that, depending on the light, will sometimes have a dark red tint to it. It's very long to the point where if she's not wearing it up in her usual twin tails it will fall around her calves, while her bangs form around her cheeks and lay over her forehead.

Eye Color
The same orange as her hair, however they turn a bright blood red occasionally. It most commonly occurs when she is seriously angered, in a very emotional state, or when she is using her abilities as a vampire. Of course she is fully capable of revealing the red color voluntarily as well.

Height
Maiyu is very short for her age, standing only 4'10" tall.

Weight
She has a very petite and small body, weighing 78lbs.

Nationality
Maiyu's mother gave birth to her in Japan.

Ethnicity
Though she was born in Japan, she is only Japanese on her mothers side, who wasn't full Japanese either. The majority of her family on her father's side come from England.

Scars
Due to her rapid healing abilities as a vampire, Maiyu's skin is perfectly clear and as smooth as fine silk.

Tattoos
There are no tattoos of any sort on Maiyu's body.

Birthmark(s)
Maiyu was born with two separate birthmarks. One is the mark of the renowned Rosengald family that appears only on the daughters. It's unmistakeably in the shape of a rose and about the size of a baseball, located on the upper right side of her stomach where her ribs are just below her chest. Her second birthmark has no particular shape, some saying it looks like a fish while others say a flower, and is only the size of a penny on the outside of her left ankle.

Piercings
Her ears were pierced as a child, however she rarely ever wears earrings. Aside from her ears she has no other piercings.

Oddities
As a vampire, Maiyu's canines are slightly pointed, however when her eyes are red her fangs become somewhat larger and more noticeable. They also become substantially sharper, making it easy to bite into practically anything, especially human flesh.

Fears
Fighting - Vampires are a species perfectly built for combat, and Maiyu has fought many times. However, no matter how many times she's had to fight another being she's always terrified of doing so. When she fights she does everything she can to block out this fear, but there is always a a part of her that just wants to run away and hide.
Worms - Insects and other creepy crawlies have never been a threat to Maiyu. She'd happily go digging for grubs or chase after flying bugs, but worms...worms. Now those are the minions of hell to her.
Killing - It's not killing in itself that's the problem, it's the fact that she can do it so easily with such little hesitation that frightens her.
Her Father - A man with no mercy for others, Maiyu being no exception. You could imagine how thrilled she was when she was given permission to attend school and not have to live at home anymore.

Skills/Talents
Combat Specialist - Being born into a pure-blood family, Maiyu has been taught how to fight since the day she could walk. She's never been seen using a weapon, instead using her knowledge of multiple hand-to-hand fighting styles when battling.
Deception - A natural born skill that all vampires possess in order to feed off humans. Maiyu will often use this skill unintentionally, though she also uses it deliberately whenever she needs to.

Sewing - Maiyu has pricked her finger on needles too many times to count, however she continued teaching herself until she was able to even make her own clothes.
Animal Bonding - It's almost as if animals of all kinds are drawn to Maiyu. She can take a feral cat and turn it into the sweetest ball of fluff just by spending a few hours with it. If she were a human she'd probably hit it off as famous animal trainer.

Powers
Agility/Strength - Vampire have the most incredibly agility out of all monsters. It's hard to believe how fast they can be on their feet, as well as the extraordinary physical strength that they posses.
Yōki Detection - To put it simply, by detecting the life force(Yōki) of other monsters, Maiyu can pinpoint where they are, sense the other monsters intentions and/or what attacks an enemy is going to use.
Rapid Healing - As a pure-blood, Maiyu has healing abilities unlike any other. Her wounds heal almost instantly, though that doesn't change the amount of pain she feels when being wounded. The healing process make take longer with more serious wounds and may also depend on which weapons have wounded her. More Info Here

Hobbies
Training - Honing her combat skills and abilities as a vampire has always been a very large part of Maiyu's life. She trains every day, practicing in her spare and well away from school to avoid damaging property or hurting any passer-by's.
Key Chains - Maiyu absolutely loves any kind of key chain as long as it's colorful and considers it cute. She not only collects them but also enjoys making her own and will hand them out to those she takes a liking to as a token of her friendship.
Eating - It's unbelievable how such a tiny girl can eat so much. Maiyu's like a bottomless pit. As long as it tastes good, she'll eat it and will definitely help herself to seconds and then thirds. She also seems to be constantly snacking on things and carries candy and other sweets around in her pockets and bag to much on whenever she's bored.

Weaknesses
Water - This is considers a vampire's greatest weakness. Because water has many purifying properties, if a vampire is doused in it or a drop simply lands on their skin it is no different than being shocked with an electric current and it weakens their Yōki flow.
Impulsive - Maiyu rarely thinks things through before she does or says something. This leads her to get into trouble a lot, more particularly when it comes to fighting other monsters. Though she may deeply fear fighting, her desperation to prove her strength results in her challenging anyone who questions her resolve or abilities.
Blessed Silver - The next thing on the list that vampires should avoid. Being wounded by silver can be very painful as well as lethal to vampires depending on the depth of the wound and whether or not the vampire is given time to heal.
Sentiment - Maiyu has a habit of becoming very attached to things. This includes charms, stuffed animals, and especially other beings whom she considers friends. She can be terribly reckless if something precious to her is being threatened, doing anything to protect what is dear to her no matter how frightened she is.

Strengths
Determined - Maiyu has no shortage of determination. Once she makes up her mind to do something there is little change she'll change it and doesn't believe "giving up" is the answer to anything.
Companionship - Having friends around truly does make Maiyu feel more confident and braver. There's no doubt that she'll do her very best if she has those important to her cheering her on.
Focusing - Sure, when she first starts off fighting she can be rather sloppy and rough, however once she's got the hang of it she can become surprisingly concentrated and will actually begin to focus on what she needs to do. This also includes when she's trying something new such as cooking or dancing, ect.

Flaws
Little-man Syndrome - There is not a day that goes by that doesn't consist of Maiyu being mistaken for an elementary schooler. She can become very annoyed by anyone who brings up her height.
Stubborn - Maiyu doesn't like to admit that she's wrong even if she is. She doesn't apologize when it comes to little things, convincing herself that it wasn't her fault and that the other person or party should be the one to apologize instead.
Nosey - Not really the best at minding her own business, once Maiyu gets curious about something she won't stop perusing it until all of her questions are answered. A lot of times she ends up getting into others personal things which, not surprising, usually tends to lead others to get angry and annoyed with her persistence.

Race
Maiyu is a member of the feared Vampire race.

Ranking
S-Class

Personality
Vampires are often considered a distant and mysterious race, one who hides in shadows and will destroy anything that gets in their way. Maiyu, on the other hand, is incredibly social and not the least bit mysterious. She's very open to others, at least when it doesn't have to do with her family, and not afraid to announce her presence to the world. She can be awfully loud and enjoys talking, always in the search of new friends. For someone who's be isolated most of her life, it's surprising how friendly and outgoing she can be. However she also has a habit of trying to hard to be friends with people, sometimes coming off as a nuisance to those not looking for company. There is also the fact that she's always trying to be in charge.

Maiyu likes to think of herself as a leader, even though she clearly isn't, and to most people it looks more like she's searching more for subordinates rather than actual friends. This, however, isn't the case at all. To those who have put up with her "I'm the boss here" attitude, they'd find that Maiyu is actually a very loyal and protective friend. She can become attached to someone just from talking to them once, and once she's taken a liking to you there is no stopping her from trying to become friends with you. It really is amazing how persistent she can be once she's decided on something.

This doesn't just apply to making friends, though. Maiyu is always determined to do whatever she sets her mind on. Giving up isn't an option for her, so she'll keep trying over and over until she gets it right. She's never backed down from anything, this including any form of confrontation, trying something new or if she's given a dare to prove herself. Of course this is also one of the reason's she can't hold onto friends for very long. Her stubbornness keeps her from admitting her mistakes and she hates apologizing because that makes her feel like she's lost. She beats herself up plenty mentally, but that isn't enough to make her admit defeat, though she may do so if she's desperate enough. It's rare for Maiyu to push her pride aside, though, so it would take a lot, and I mean a lot, for her to actually be the first to step up and admit her faults.

Now Maiyu is most often cheerful and confident, spreading that confidence around like butter on toast, but she's also easily put down. She may not show it, but anytime someone berates her on her height in a serious way or does something with the intention of hurting her, it usually works. Because of the way she was raised, she's very used to others disliking her and saying rude things, but that doesn't make it any less hurtful. She's learned how to cover up any of those negative emotions, her powers of deception making it easy to deceive others into believing she's not phased by any such thing. Her deception has become sort of defense mechanism over the years. Whenever she's asked a question that she's uncomfortable with, she'll respond in a second with a most believable lie without even thinking about it.

Dominant Emotion
If someone where to spend some time with Maiyu they would soon figure out that her determination trumps all.

Danger Level
Maiyu has had lots of training to control any vampiric cravings or emotions that may cause her to lose control of herself. In that sense, her neutral danger level would probably be around 3 or 4 with the slight risk of her accidentally breaking a desk or a door if she's become frustrated. However, if put in a situation where she has to fight, her danger level raises to a definite 10 against whomever she's fighting.

Opinions
Her opinion on humans is a bit complicated. Part of her despises the fact that humans could be so cruel to her kind, especially those in the human folklore books who would hunt vampires and other monsters for a living. However there is also the envy that she feels for the way humans are allowed to live, somewhat wishing she could be a human herself, though never speaking such blasphemous words aloud around other monsters. She's truthfully quite curious about the human realm and would love the chance to go out and explore it herself.

Average grade
Though Maiyu claims to love school, she's not exactly a straight-A student and most often get's C's in her classes.

Keepsakes
The matching wooden accessories that Maiyu uses to tie up her twin tails were made by hand by her mother. She owns similar accessories in different colors, however she is most often seen wearing the wooden ones and is very protective of them.

History
The Rosengald family is one of the most respected families in the vampire world, a family of incredibly strong pure-bloods, or more often called "Shinso" by other vampires. The Rosengald name has been alive for many generations, being passed on son after son. However when a child was born to one of the maids of the Rosengald mansion, the resemblance to the head of the house was uncanny. It wasn't long before it was discovered that the maid, a Dhampire born of a human and a vampire, had given birth to the first daughter of the Rosengald family in a long line of sons, this being Maiyuri herself. However this endeavor was nothing to be celebrated, and Maiyu's mother was soon banished and Maiyu was raised by the other housekeepers.

Her father was a very cold and distant man, someone Maiyu has only seen a few times in her life and has only spoken to once or twice, however it only took one encounter to learn that he had no intention of considering Maiyu to be anything other than a pawn. After all, he already had a son who would carry on the name. What use would he have with a daughter? On the other hand, her half brother was very kind and treated Maiyu just like any brother would, always there to encourage her in her training and give her praise on her achievements. She was given lessons by the other housekeepers, which is where she picked up sewing, and did everything she could to gain the acceptance. Many of the other vampire who would visit to talk with her father would often give her cold stares, but there were a few who were also friendly and Maiyu was always happy to see them.

As Maiyu grew older her training gradually became much more intense and it was quite clear that her purpose here was to fight, but there was a constant fear of battle that always pulled at her chest even if she was only training. Just sparring with other vampires was terrifying to her, and she couldn't understand why she was being pushed so hard to learn how to fight in the first place. That is until she was patrolling the many acres of the Rosengald estates and was attacked by another family of vampires. In that moment her fear took over at the sight of being ambushed and she was too easily beaten down. She very well might have died had her brother not intervened, though she would quickly take his place now if given the chance. Her brother saved her life, but lost his in the process.

Three years have passed since the small battle that took place between rivaling vampire families, the Rosengald family coming on top, however the loss of her brother seemed to make the already cold head of the family even colder. It was obvious that the man blamed Maiyu for his son's death, not that she disagrees with him. She couldn't stand being at the mansion any longer, having too many things reminding her of her brother but also constantly having to hide away from her father's glares. After being granted permission to attend the academy she left at a moments notice.

At times like these, you're supposed to begin with some sort of boring monologue about who you are, what your past is, and how you ended up where you are at. But I'm not one of the cliched, idiotic people who decide to narrate their own life, nor am I the weak little girl who feels the need to gossip about everything that happens to me.

Ahem ... I suppose that maybe just this once I will, because you're probably wondering who I am and how I got here ... But I'm not elaborating on my life. It isn't that I'm embarrassed about it - it merely isn't any of your business.

I suppose I'll be as positively cliche as possible.

Hello! My name is Tresora Knighsing! My grades are phenomenal and I'm probably the best technical engineer you'll ever meet - and not to toot my own horn or anything, but I'm also a pretty good artist. For some reason - I doubt I'll ever understand why - my social worker decided to send me to this school, where I'll be staying both day and night for the next school year, and the only chances I'll have to get away are on holidays and breaks. Not that I really have anywhere to go. And God knows what kind of people attend school at an Academy so far out in no-where's-ville, so I'm pretty much screwed.

I'm currently on some slightly-battered-down old bus with a creepy old driver, and something really stinks. I think it's the guy in front of me.

Alright, that's enough of that. I'm done with this cheesiness ... So I bid you adieu!

Her hand wrung together in her lap. What exactly was she supposed to be doing right now? Her cell phone had lost service when they entered a long, dark tunnel that sent an eerie feeling through her body, and she had therefore lost her ability to access most of the games on it. Sora glared out the smudgy window of the transport bus, her teeth grinding together with annoyance. Every two seconds they would hit a bump, which would send her nearly a foot above her seat each time. When she'd land, it would jar her entire body and bruise her bottom.

When the clunker of a bus finally came to a stop outside of the surprisingly long tunnel, directly beside a cliff that met a red sea, her eyes fell on a scarecrow that was undeniably one of the creepiest things that she had ever seen in her entire life.

"Eh, you sure this is where you were headed, girly?"

Sora paused halfway down the steps and tossed a look back at the bus driver, who was seeming less of a creep every few minutes.

She turned her eyes to the sign beside the scarecrow, which clearly read 'Yokai Academy' on it, and was shaped into an arrow. It was pointing in the direction they had been driving in, and suggested that her route would take her through a dense forest and quite some time to reach the school. After a moment, she turned her gaze back to the driver.

"Yokai Academy?" she asked, slipping her hand into her duffle bag and removing a pamphlet that her worker had given her. In large letters across the top, it spelled 'YOKAI ACADEMY; SCHOOL FOR THE ESTRANGED'.

She glanced back up at him. "Well, it appears that that's where I'm headed. Why do you ask?"

He chuckled a bit, a slight glint in his eye, and the darkness of the laugh caused goosebumps to rise on her flesh. "Ah, no reason, girly. Hope you have fun. I'll be back next month ... In case you change your mind." With a slight shove, she went stumbling out of the bus, and rounded back to face it and give him the ass-chewing of his life - but the bus was already gone. Her hand lowered and her brows drew together, before she scowled and turned in the direction of the school.

"Strange driver ..." she mumbled, her brown shoes squishing slightly with each step. Her bag bounced against her thigh as she walked, and the path between the sign and the Academy was nearly as off as the bus driver.

Jeez, if this is what the path to the school is like, I can only imagine what the Academy itself is like ...

As she walked, her hand slipped into her bag. Her suitcases with her belongings, clothes, and necessities had already been delivered to the school and taken to her room ahead of time, due to her transfer being a month after school had begun. It would have been a waste of time for her to bring her suitcases with her. At least since they were delivered ahead of time, she only had to worry about putting away her clothes and other belongings. Her decorations had already been organized - her bed had been made with her blankets and pillows, her computers and technical equipment had been set up in a corner of her room (apparently the staff had been too afraid to fiddle with it, for fear of breaking something - at least, according to the secretary of the Headmaster, they were). Other random things had already been put up, also - such as her hanging beads that she had made for her closet to replace the door there, or her lamps that she had decorated.

Or so she had been told. With the way that things were looking, who was to say that she even had a decent room?

Sora huffed a sigh as she removed a small, portable computer from her bag. It was the size of an iPhone in the human world, but obviously was not of the same design. Flipping a button on the side, a hologram screen shot up above it, while a keypad glowed brightly on the actual screen of the computer. Despite her advanced technology, her computer refused to connect to any type of internet out at this 'school'.

It was like she had entered another universe.

Sighing, she moved her fingers quickly above the keypad, not actually coming into contact with it, but the letters entering despite so. The hologram suddenly snapped to six screens, and using her free hand, she began to quickly move the screens around, sliding her finger across each one and sending it flying to a new spot before her.

The next thing she knew she was hurling towards the ground.

Landing hard, Sora grimaced. Her new school uniform didn't really allow for her to attempt to catch herself - the skirt was far too short for her to do much else other than worry about her underwear flashing - and her one free hand clutched at it. She landed hard on the dirt, jarring her entire body and undoubtedly bruising her tailbone, and she hissed in pain. Her eyes immediately caught the culprit of her falling - an over-grown tree root that jutted up from the ground, directly in the middle of the path.

"Stupid tree," she muttered, flipping the small computer's switch and tucking it into her bag once more. Turning onto her side, she began to push herself up, before she collapsed gain, pain shooting through her ankle. Glancing down at it, she could see through the sock that it was already swelling, and she scowled once more.

"Just what I needed to top everything else off - a twisted ankle," she muttered dryly. She once again pushed herself to her feet - more slowly this time - and gingerly tested her weight on it. Pain immediately shot through her leg, and with a grimace, she began at a slow limp towards the school - which she had tripped directly in front of. The large gates were open and welcoming - which was odd. In fact, the entire school was odd. Several things contrasted with each other - the beautiful foliage inside of the gates battled with the Gothic design of the school's outside, while the bright sunlight warred against the darkness it emanated.

An overly-perky girl was the first person that she found herself across.

"Hi! Welcome to Yokai! My name is Oslin, and I'm a part of the Welcoming Committee!" she squealed, her hands grabbing Sora's and shaking them quickly up and down. Her entire arms were moving and her head nearly bobbed from the movement.

"I have to say, when I found out that we were getting a new student at this time of the year I was more than just surprised. But I was also excited!" she exclaimed.

Sora tore her hands back, taking a couple of steps away from the girl, grinding her teeth together due to the pain of her ankle.

"Two words: Don't. Touch." Her eyes were hard, her hand up in order to separate them. "I'll be perfectly fine on my own, thank you. I don't need an overly-perky, annoying little girl bothering me on my first day," she snapped. Adjusting her bag, she pushed around the girl, stalking - or as well as she could with her ankle - around a corner.

And directly into another body.

The force of the impact sent her stumbling backwards, and before she could catch herself on anything, she had landed on her bottom - again.

"Dammit ... Now the bruise is going to be even worse," she grimaced, rubbing at her bottom. She turned a glare up to the person who she had bumped into. "Hey! Watch where you're going, bub!" she seethed.

“哦,多麼美麗的花朵舞後,突然天空最亮的恆星是永遠太遙遠,然而,像個傻瓜,我跳,我到達,到達,直到我的手開始增長乏力。我就跑,直到我能'看不到的橋樑,我自己的家。有我失去了我的路,終於?經過這麼長時間?“

Mei-Lien looked up from the book she read and smiled slightly as she saw her school before her. Yokai Academy. What a wonderful place to be. It was her second year here and the two months seemed to have been going well for her. She had made herself a bit of a trouble reputation among some, but to others, she was royalty. She couldn't ask for more really.

She recalled when she had left to come to the school not too long ago. Her father had wished her luck and nothing more. As expected. Who cared about him anyway? A little 'I love you Mei-Lien' or 'Do well in your studies Mei-Lien' couldn't have hurt him, could it? He never was the type of guy to show emotions anyway. Neither was Mei-Lien. So it was understandable that she and him clashed slightly with no conflict. They were almost too identical.

Mei-Lien recalled the many suitcases she had brought when school stared. Why did she bring it, who knew. It seems that everywhere she went, she needed a whole closet with her. After all, half the bags was clothes, another two bags was hair products. And the others? Well her sword collection of course. However, she had taken the swords for a bit to get cleaned. Thankfully she had brought the bag with her today.

"WELCOME PRINCESS!"

She turned to see a group of four boys coming to greet her. It seems like everyday she was remembered and treated as she wanted. How beautiful!

"Well, good day to all of you. Hm. Would you all be a dear and help me with my collection? I just had them cleaned and it's a bit heavy. Not a problem for you strong boys hm?"

She could tell that the males were quite flattered by her words, which they should be. She had a way of words, appearance and even touch. She was sly but in a good way of course. She watched as the boys began to struggle to pick up the bag.

"Ahh! This things like a hundred pounds! Whats in this?"

She gasped as he dropped it making it up up. Inside, instead of clothes or shoes, was a small bundle of swords. Mei-Lien quickly went to the bag and placed them back inside.

"What are you doing!? Be careful with those! Their very important to me."

The boy pouted slightly while hearing her.

"I-Im so sorry princess. Ill do my best to be careful."

She sighed slightly. She was happy that none of them were injured. She was even more glad that they weren't dirty. She stood and dusted her uniform off before flipping her hair slightly.

"Lets just get these to my room, shall we?"

After using the males for labor of her benefit, she paused slightly while seeing a face she hadn't seen before. She had heard that a new face would be around school. Of course, Mei-Lien didn't worry about her steal any sort of spotlight. She couldn't help but giggle a bit while seeing her bump into someone. She was indeed a newbie. Mei-Lien could help but get a bit curious about her but she wasn't one to act on curiosity. She was more collected then that.

She found a nice bench to sit on and happily hummed while people watching. She would giggle hearing the usual greetings of the usual people and happy 'you look beautiful' phases. It was a normal for her and she loved it more then anything. There hadn't been a day in her life that she wasn't admired by someone. Even as a child, her mother felt special.

She slowly gripped at the watch around her neck. She had always wore her mother keepsake no matter where she went. It was something very important to her. Yet, she couldn't talk about her mother. Talking about how she existed not too long ago and soon died made her feel... well, feelings. She can't explain it but she hates having feelings. Feelings only get you hurt in the future. She sighed as she read her book quietly on the bench.

Dialogue ~ #E23500

There was a the sound of creaking. Not like the sound of a door on rusty hinges, or the sound of a boot stepping down onto a loose floor board. This was a snapping, creaking sound that echoed much further, followed by the immense sound of rustling and ending with a loud crash. This was the sound of a large tree that had been forcefully uprooted and knocked over, and it wasn't the only one to meet that fate.

The forest was a great place for training. It went on for miles, making it easy for Maiyu to find herself a quiet place to practice where there were no spectators or buildings to wreck. However, she always had to find a different place. Every time she pushed forward with her training a clearing would be made and there would be no trees left to practice on. Such was the power of a pure-blood vampire, capable of forming craters around her just from throwing a single full-blown kick into the ground. It could become quite frustrating sometimes, but there were plenty of trees around her and plenty of land that she hadn't touched yet.

Wiping some sweat from her brow, she took in a breath and straightened herself up as another tree crashed into the dirt behind her. It was an unusual thing, sweat. After all what vampire was capable of sweating? In Maiyu's case, her mother was the daughter of a human, so despite her retaining the powers of a pure-blood there were still a few things that just seemed to be odd. At least, for a vampire.

"Alright!", she said loudly as she stretched her hands over her head. "That's enough for this morning. Don't wanna be late!" As if she could really be late. She could probably spend another twenty minutes in the forest, but she'd been there for a half hour now and was growing bored of kicking down trees.

Once Maiyu reached the school, which only took her a little under a minute to reach, she headed straight to the cafeteria. The breakfast she had before going into the forest just hadn't filled her up. Plus all that moving around made her hungry again. It's a shame she couldn't just eat anything she wanted off the menu, though. "Really, who came up with the idea of only taking one of each thing? I'm a growing girl!"

It didn't take her long to fill up her tray, probably because most of the students had moved out of her way after she got in line. Why? Likely due to the fact that Maiyu had revealed what race she was on the very first day of school, while a majority of other monsters usually kept their identity a secret. It was just a simple fact that there were quite a few monsters who feared vampires simply because of their abilities. Maiyu understood this, but to the outside eye it doesn't seem to bother her in the slightest. It did bother her a little of course, but there were also a few who didn't mind what she was.

Speaking of which, as Maiyu searched for a place to sit and eat she spotted a familiar figure slumped in the corner of the cafe. She smiled slightly and made her way over to the magician, stopping in front of him to enjoy the feeling of being able to look down at someone for once. "You smell like corn syrup. Don't you know what a bath is? You look sticky too."

Yuuki Kasai had to force himself to get out of bed. Like, really force himself. He was exhausted. Of course, he knew the consequences of staying up late to play videogames. Everyone knew those consequences. Unless, they had never stayed up late to play videogames before. The simple thought of living a life like that appalled the young otaku. Mentally, he weeped for the loss of videogaming for those poor unfortunate souls.

He still hadn't gotten out of bed. The boy groaned into his pillow, the sound muffled by the fluffiness of it. He always thought pillows looked like marshmallows. He knew they didn't taste like marshmallows though. He'd never make that same mistake twice. An involuntary shudder ran down his spine at the mere thought of when he had been stupid enough to bite into a pillow. Yuuki lifted up his head in aggravation, realizing he still hadn't gotten out of bed.

If he didn't get up soon, he'd miss breakfast and classes, and all the other stuff that should have mattered to him, but he just couldn't leave the comfort of his bed. Instead, Yuuki just laid there, staring at his headboard. Yokai Academy was much different than anywhere else he had ever been. He found it a little strange to see so many different kinds of people coexisting so harmoniously. It was enough to bring tears to his blue eyes.

And, it was a place with no humans! No humans at all! He relished in the thought of a human free environment. Such petty creatures humans were. So self-absorbed. So self-righteous. So self- Wow, all of those statements had "self" in them; shows how clever humans are. His hands brushed over the scar on his neck as he glared at the wooden headboard. The humans were the ones that took her from him. Yuuki sighed and flipped onto his back. All that hatred had made him hungry.

He forced himself out of bed and dressed. When he passed the mirror, he saw his frown. To be honest, he didn't look good with a frown. He pointed to his cheeks, forcing himself to smile. Ding! He nodded. She would want him to smile. She liked it when he smiled. His hands ventured into his bottom dresser drawer and he withdrew a large wrapped up object. He smiled softly at it, "Morning, sis."

With a small sigh, he swung the object over his shoulder like it was a backpack. To him, it was much more important. Without another word, he threw open his door, grinning at the hall. He stepped out of his room and made his way to the cafeteria. It was crowded as usual. He stacked up his plate, scanning the crowd for a place to sit. A somewhat familiar orange haired head stood out among the crowd and he walked up without a second thought. She was talking to someone else. "Hey, Maiyu. Mind if I sit with you?"

Oh for Christ's sake - the girl was balling her eyes out! Was she seriously reacting so intensely to only a couple of words? The girl definitely didn't have very thick skin. At all.

Rolling her eyes, she shoved her pride down and swallowed her anger. Why waste it on a baby like this girl?

"Shut the Hell up, Oslin," she drawled out rudely. "You need to mind your own damn business and stay out of other's. You never know what you might find - and what you might find may scar you for life," she snapped. "So scram, Barbie," she added.

Oslin paled, tears appearing in her own eyes, before she turned and fled from the scene. Tresora bothered not to follow her with her eyes - she knew she wouldn't return.

Turning her eyes back to the balling, pink-haired girl before her, she let out a slightly-irritated breath. "Calm down. I'm really not that scary," she muttered with an eye roll. She adjusted her weight a bit, reaching forward to rub at her injured ankle. "You don't need to cry over it. I'm not going to yell, so stop being a baby. Besides, you don't even know me, so it really shouldn't matter so much to you. You need to grow thicker skin, caro," she nodded, pointing a finger in the girl's direction.

Her eyes fell on the boy who was approaching, and her reaction to his voice and his hand nearing her was immediate and intense - and completely uncontrollable.

Her muscles tensed and burned. A sheer sheen of sweat appeared on her skin, a nervous tingling began in her stomach, and her heart hammered in her chest. Her fingers clenched and curled inwards, her lips pressing together tightly in the same moment. Before she could stop herself, her hand had snapped out and slapped the boy's away, and she had scuttled backwards. For anyone who didn't realize that she did this in fear, they would undoubtedly laugh and find the movement to be hilarious and a joke.

Turning her face away as quickly as possible, she stumbled up to a standing position, most of her weight on the one side of her body so as to avoid collapsing to her knees.

"Thanks for the offer of help, but I'll pass. You can go ahead and comfort cotton-candy-rainstorm here," she waved her hand at the pink fluffball of a girl before her, "And I'm going to finish looking for my dorm and the head office so I can get my paperwork." With that, she hurried away, flipping out her holocomputer in an attempt to look busy and not nearly as frazzled as she felt.

She wasn't really paying attention to the computer, at least not as much so as she looked to be, and her fingers flew across the hologram screen as she limped.

It wasn't until she smelled food that she realized how hungry she was. After spending the past two and a half days hopping from plane to plane, bus to bus, and car to car, she hadn't eaten well nor much at all. Her stomach growled as the delicious smell of cinnamon rolls reach her nostrils, and she paused in her step, her head tilting back a bit to get better access at the yummy smell of cinnamon.

"I might as well grab some food before I finish looking for the office," she muttered, tucking the tiny computer into a small pocket on her bag.

Sora pushed through the doors to the cafeteria and strode inside. It didn't take long for several of the conversations to lull at the sight of a new student at this time of the year - especially one who held herself with the confidence of someone who cared naught for any type of judgement from her peers.

Acting as though she didn't notice the change of atmosphere at her entrance, she strode to the food area of the cafeteria, plucking up a small plate with a cinnamon roll, an apple, a bagel, and a bottle of orange juice, she quickly paid for the food. Immediately she made her way over to the nearest window and, tossing her bag onto the sill, she easily joined it, leaning back against the wall and removing a similar device to her holocomputer, but instead it projected from a far smaller electronic - it was her Black Hole Computer, and the projection above it was only one, yet far more visible and clear than the other projections. Taking a bite out of her cinnamon roll, she lounged backwards, slipping into a slightly relaxed mood, her free hand absently rubbing at her scarred neck, the frequent ache and burn that appeared in it slowly beginning to arise.
