Looking at a door, he winced. "I think this is it, I'm not sure. Let's just risk it, though." Konstantyn broke away from the arm linking and pushed himself against the door; mainly pushing his back against it as he moved his legs to try to push it.
Unfortunately for him, he get slipping, but afterwards it opened and he shyly walked inside to see if Mr. Tokage was in here. Quietly, he spoke. "Mr. Tokage? Are you in here?"
"Tokage-sensei?" She asked into the room.
Zetsunoko's smile widened he had found a partner, "I'm a gunblade, by the way. I hope that's alright." he heard from Akimi, Zetsunoko knew how to use a verity of weapons but the one of his preference was the sword, he felt most comfortable holding one and he could show off his skill with it also. "That's so cool!." Zetsunoko replied; "Uh, I know how you feel first encounters are quite strange though." Zetsunoko said. "So Akimi I hope you take good care of me as I will to you, I try to be the best meister I can." Zetsunoko said. Akimi couldn't help but blush a little when Zetsunoko called her weapon form cool. "Thanks!" she smiled.
All the smiling throughout the day had been making her cheeks hurt because she wasn't used to it. She couldn't remember smiling this much since she was a little girl out playing with her brothers. Akimi shook her head a little- those were memories she didn't want to replay. She blinked as Zetsunoko mentioned that he thought that first encounters were strange as well.
"Yeah, it's a little strange talking to people like this. And don't worry, I'll take good care of you! I'm a little better at fighting than I am at talking." she smiled again and pushed a strand of hair out of her face.Zetsunoko chuckled at her comment, "Well Akimi know that we have found our partners, I'd love to hear a little bit about yourself but time is rather short, I have to get to my home I told my little brother I would find a partner and head back soon; I'm still unsure of leaving him home alone.... Or would you prefer to come with me that way I could hear a little about yourself, we'd like to have you for dinner my brother likes guests." Zetsunoko said with his usual calm tone, ' But knowing my brother he must be training.... or slacking off....' Zetsunoko thought as he tilted a bit with his eyes closed. "I- uh. Yeah, I can come over for dinner. I don't exactly have anyone waiting for me to come home, so I'm free to stay out late like this." Akimi smiled for the first part, but it became slightly forced as she said the last bit.
She ran a hand through her fiery locks for what seemed like the hundredth time since she'd started talking to Zetsunoko and waved her other hand toward the stairs that led down to the city. "Shall we go, then?"
Without really waiting for an answer Akimi started walking, her right hand toying with the hem of her shirt as she went. Zetsunoko also started to walk leading her to a rather large Japanese style house, and a sign saying " Roentel Family Dojo (Closed) ". Zetsunoko smiled opening the sliding door "Welcome home Nii-sama." A what looked like a 12 year old girl said, 'Whats she doing here? Brother...' Zetsunoko thought, "Sorry to intrude, your brother is in the Dojo training if your wondering, I was just heading there to help him." she said, "Its okay," Zetsunoko said as she walked away, he then looked at Akimi "Shall we?" Zetsunoko said with a smile.Akimi stood awkwardly as Zetsunoko talked to what appeared to be a twelve-year-old girl. Akimi made a motion like a small wave, but the girl was already walking away, so she didn't notice. She turned to look at Zetsunoko as he spoke and gave him a slight nod.
"Yeah." she stood, waiting for him to lead the way since she didn't really know where she was going. "So, earlier I think you mentioned that you wanted to know more about me?" she toyed with a strand of her hair nervously as she waited for a response. "Yeah I'd like to know about more about you your my partner after all I gotta know your likings so I don't mess up, ehehe." Zetsunoko said and walked to the kitchen, "I hope you like stew and rice, that's today's menu. You can take a seat on the table there." Zetsunoko said pointing to the Japanese table, Zetsunoko then started preparations for making dinner after putting on a cooking apron, 'Its embarrassing but I usually do this.... I hope Akimi doesn't think I'm weird.' he thought. "Alright, then. Uh. What would you like to know?" She toyed with a strand of hair nervously as she waited for his response. "Stew and rice is wonderful." She nodded and sat down, watching him as he put on a cooking apron.
The thought of a guy wearing an apron like that didn't faze her, since she didn't really know what most people looked like when they cooked. Akimi got a little lost in thought as she waited for a response, trying to remember the last home-cooked meal she'd had, but she wasn't having any success in recalling it. "Well I'd like to know your hobbies like reading,cooking...sleeping? Things like that so I can get more familiar with you," Zetsunoko said finishing the stew and rice ' I know haw to wait a few minutes until its done.' he thought, " I'll tell you a bit about me so you'll feel a bit more comfortable, My full names Zetsunoko Roentel, I live here alone with my little brother, my hobbies include sleeping, meditating, and training with my brother and pupil." Zetsunoko said with a smile siting by the table."Well I'd like to know your hobbies like reading,cooking...sleeping? Things like that so I can get more familiar with you," Zetsunoko said finishing the stew and rice ' I know haw to wait a few minutes until its done.' he thought, " I'll tell you a bit about me so you'll feel a bit more comfortable, My full names Zetsunoko Roentel, I live here alone with my little brother, my hobbies include sleeping, meditating, and training with my brother and pupil." Zetsunoko said with a smile siting by the table. Akimi nodded. "Zetsunoko Roentel, huh? Alrighty then. I'm Akimi. I never really decided officially on my new last name, but I tend to go by Akimi Megame. I suppose my hobbies would be reading, drawing, writing, and fighting. I used to hide a lot, but that was more of... It was just a childhood thing." Akimi shifted her gaze to her lap. "I used to have two older half brothers, Angel and Kero. I haven't seen them in at least two years now and I don't think I ever will again."
She fidgeted in her seat. "I've heard that the only real way to get to know someone is by hearing about their childhood and stuff like that. You're my Meister, so I'd be willing to tell you about it if you want me to." she turned her hazel gaze back up to Zetsunoko, watching his face carefully. Her bright eyes were an open book, showing her apparent unease regarding the subject of her past.
Looking at her eyes Zetsunoko noticed the unease, "Well, that is a good way to get to know each other but its not that big of a deal." Zetsunoko said smelling the food was done he stood up placing the fire on the stew and rice on low, "Foods done," Zetsunoko said; only milliseconds after saying that a 12 year old boy appeared out of no where he was the spitting image of Zetsunoko a miniature some would say, "Foods done I heard right?" he said not noticing Akimi until looking at the table "Oh...." the boy said thinking for a moment "Ohh!! A guest!" he added giggling, Zetsunoko handed him a plate, his brother grabbed it and walked of to the Dojo Giggling and talking to himself. Zetsunoko then placed a plate for Akimi in front of her on the table and one for him, and a cup of green tea, "Do you like green tea or do you prefer water?" he said.
Akimi nodded, a small, tight-lipped smile finding its way to her face. Of course, she couldn't help the little smirk of a grin that appeared when the 12-year-old miniature version of Zetsunoko came in. The boy seemed very cheerful and Akimi could definitely tell that the two were brothers. She watched silently as the boy grabbed a plate of food and then left again. Looking up at Zetsunoko as he brought a plate over to her, she found herself studying his face. You can definitely tell he's a warrior. His spirit is hanging on his sleeve plain as day. Akimi blinked, stirring herself from her thoughts as her Meister asked her what she wanted to drink.
"Water, please." she waited quietly for him to come back, vaguely remembering that it was polite to wait for the host to sit down before the guests began eating.
"I take it that was your brother earlier?" a sliver of a smile appeared as she spoke, fond memories dwelling in the back of her mind for just that moment.
Zetsunoko poured a glass of cold water Akimi and a cup of green tea for himself, then sat down sat down on the table giving the glass to Akimi, "Yeah that's my little brother." Zetsunoko said with a smile taking a few bite from his food, his plate was nearly empty since he already had eaten earlier and he was still quite full.
Akimi smiled. "He looks a lot like you. Almost like a miniature."
As soon as she was done talking, Akimi was eating. She, as usual, ate rather fast and her food was gone within a minute.
"Thank you for the meal, by the way. It was very delicious." she commented before taking a drink of water. "It's been a long time since I've had anything like this." her hair was hanging in her face again, so she tucked it behind her ear, though some short rebellious strands returned to her face.
"So, are you looking forward to classes tomorrow? I wonder if we'll be in the same class and who our teacher will be."
And if I'm going to be able to scrape by and pass it. Akimi silently added.
"I'm very glad you like my cooking." Zetsunoko said with a grin, his mom was the one who taught him to cook but his mother is know traveling, and he doesn't even want to know about his father. "I am kinda looking forward but I'm lazy so its a bit of a drag studying. You want me to walk you home?" Zetsunoko said, 'I wouldn't like something happening to you.' he thought.
"I imagine that studying is pretty boring. And I'll be fine, so unless you really want to come with me or something, you don't have to walk me home. I'm just staying up by the Academy. And, you know, us Weapons can look after ourselves, you know. Especially us 'horrible, sickly little gunblades'" she smirked at that last part.
"Anyway, thank you for dinner. It was very good. I suppose I should head toward home now, then. And I believe the door was... this way?" she moved a hand, gesturing lightly to the way they had come in. "Yeah, that way. Alright, then. Good night, unless you decide to follow me out." she stepped toward the door, "I suppose I'll see you in class tomorrow, then."
If I can find it. Akimi added in her thoughts.
"Hey I didn't say anything like that.... Take care Akimi, I'll see you tomorrow at school." Zetsunokko said seeing he off, "Know for clean up," Zetsunoko said lookign at the dishes "BRO INCOMING!!!" his little brother said Zetsunoko turned seeing a katana flung at him he stepped back grabbing the blade of the sword with two fingers, "Sorry, I got disarmed and it flew out." his brother said Zetsunoko just nodded finishing the dishes; He then took a bath and headed off to bed thinking of the long year ahead of him slowly drifting into a deep sleep.
Akimi smiled, but didn't respond. As Zetsunoko turned away to go do the dishes, she turned toward the door. As soon as she was outside, she sprinted back to the little two-room place that she supposed she was supposed to call home now. Heading inside, she took a quick bath, threw on her pajamas, and collapsed on her bed. She was asleep before her bed even hit the pillow.
Akimi grumbled at the alarm clock that was buzzing beside her, her arm flailing blindly as it tried to seek out the snooze button. Unsuccessful, she groaned and kicked her blanket off of her. Getting up, she quickly brushed her hair out, brushed her teeth, and washed her face. After grabbing something to eat, she got dressed. Wearing a black flare-sleeved with long sleeves, a short dark red skirt, Akimi glanced at herself in the mirror. Satisfied with how the outfit looked on her, she pulled on her boots. Pushing her red hair out of her face, she grabbed her bag and jogged out the door.
A minute later she was approaching Death Weapon Meister Academy, a dark red satchel bouncing against her hip. Heading inside, she paused at the bulletin board to find out what class she was in and with who. A ghost of a smile crossed her lips when she noticed that she was in a class with Zetsunoko. Had Death already planned everything out? She stood there for a few minutes, lost in a random thought.

He approached the school with a lazy stride, hands shoved into his pockets. He looked incredibly bored with the fancy school. What was his first class again? He wasn't sure. One couldn't really know if Adrian really didn't care, or if he was just trying not to show it just by looking at him. Ah, yes. That was right, he remembered now what he his first class was, if he recalled correctly. Adrian ran a hand through his silver hair and headed that way, not too sure if this would be a good experience or not, as his first class was with that crazy one...Shieki.
It wasn't like she was worried that she wouldn't find one,
Shikei stopped momentarily. Speaking of such, she was sure that she had met an individual that was supposedly attending the DWMA as well, and then classes or of so were mentioned, but then things went for some turn with very few questions answered. Her memory not the greatest of things, she didn't really recall much. He was pretty though; an ethereal appearance, that much she remembered. She forgot his name however her, despite introducing herself. Men like him shouldn't be so pretty. Women'll feel self-conscious about their own appearances. .. And no one likes such uproars.
Shikei found herself approaching a classroom that she was more or less sure if it was the one she was to attend first thing. The numbers were coming to her, more or less. It's Class 1, right? She stared at the sign overhead that stated as such. ".. My uchitel* is 'T'.. I think." She had assigned her room's instructor a name to remember as well, seeing as it would be rather rude to just assign the others with names, and merely remember the teacher. (Not like she would be able to, anyway.)
Shikei stared at the door before knocking on the door twice and then entered without wait for an answer. She looked over the room that already had several occupants as she walked further in. She then bowed lowly to the point she should've been bending over to just reach her toes, but her arms were straight to her sides as she quickly introduced herself, maintaining a monotone but polite voice, "Shikreyul Klemkiewicz. Nice to meet you." She quickly asserted herself to a straight position again from the presumptuous gesture. These were to be her classmates, so it would be more or less to be expected that she was to become familiar with them. She stilled as if in pause as she took in the appearance of the room and of the occupants in it.
((* uchitel - 'teacher' in Russian.))
