Powers/abilities/Training: Laney is the ''ghost''. Though she is not physically dead or see-through, she can faze through solid surfaces as if they weren't there. For those who are weak minded or have spiritually weak forces, she has the ability to possess them, though when she does this she cannot speak. Along with this, she has the ability to move objects with her mind. The only issue with this ability is that her emotions can trigger it, and things can... get out of hand.

Personality: When someone speaks of Laney they speak about someone who is strong, but weak. She stands for what she believes in, and fights for what's right, but she feels she's small and pathetic, and therefore doesn't bring out her full potential. She's someone you can trust with your secrets and, surprisingly, your life. During her down-days, she can be rather quiet and impassive, blocking out most of her emotions. But even when she conceals what she is feeling, you can always read it from her eyes. Laney is frightened with the thought of love, though this might fall back on the fact that all her relationships are only because the guy wants her for her looks. She is kind and loving, but also has that dark side that she can show.

Equipment: The only thing she really has is her purse, but inside there is a wonder of things. Most of the things are normal: a cellphone, an ipod, a wallet with plenty of cash, some sticky notes, several pens, and some makeup just in case. Other than these items, she also has a pocket knife, bandaids and ointment, and chargers for her cell and ipod. If you get rid of her purse, the only other thing she has is her drawing pad.

Normal Talents: Laney grew up doing several different things, but most of them had to do with the stage. She had done ballet/hiphop dancing since she was two, drama since the age of five, and singing since she was eight. She loves to draw and is very talented. Despite this very girlish life, she is a black-belt in karate, but only because her father is a police man.

Appearance: Standing at 5'4'' and weighing 105, Laney might just be the smallest of the group. She's skinny, moving towards slender, and has good muscle structure. She holds delicate bronzed skin, since she's part Italian. Her hair is a medium brown that's cut into nice layers to shape her stunning green eyes, which are a bright green, framed by her dark, long lashes. She has high cheekbones and a heart-shaped face that is often flushed in embarasment. Her smile is white, her lips a nice peachy-pink, fitting her personality almost perfectly.

Age: 15

Relationship: She likes a particular someone, but he's interested in another, she thinks. [will specify later]

Weapons: Though most people her age wouldn't carry around a weapon, Laney happens to carry her pocket-knife. This is only because of her father, a police man, and his want to keep her safe.

Anything else: Laney's mother died from cancer when she was seven, and ever since she's been very close to her dad. It's very hard for her not to be with him, and she spends many days just quiet and impassive. She also has insomnia, so it's often hard for her to sleep.

Feelings on the others:

Matthew-- She's a little wary of him, both because of his fangs and because of his looks. She's a little distant towards him, just because she doesn't know what she'd do if he, for one reason or another, bit her. Laney's family has an odd blood condition that makes their blood much less salty and more sweet; this may be the major reason for the way she acts around him. She also finds him slightly attractive, which frightens her even more

Jenson-- Laney isn't a fan of Jenson, even though she doesn't know her personally. She finds it mildly annoying that she and Matt are together. As for the couple's relationship, she believes it will fall apart, not because of dying love, but because of the history of werewolves and vampires.

Diana-- The first impression was alright. She finds Diana interesting, but she doesn't think they'll ever be fantastic friends [then again, she hates really getting close to anyone]. She likes the way Diana is brave, but doesn't like all the noise she makes [refering back to waking up to the girl screaming].
