Somehwere on this damned earth

Lance's scouter detected that the lifeforms were still alive, he'd simply missed. He hid around the corner, watching as a Redhead shouted at a group of kids. He radio'd the Squad, and also sent in some helicopters to drop them off. He stepped into the room, hiding in the shadows. He took out his tracking device ad was ready to throw it, but he thought of something, he turned it in his hands, so that it only showed the location to him. He then threw it, so that it landed suarely into the brunettes pocket. He then shouted out in a menacing tone: "I suggest you run now, little birdies, or the big bad wolves will get you. just make sure you don't lead them back to your nest, mkay?" With that, he went back outside, watching as the group of Choppers landed, spewing out Soldiers. He smirked.

William watched as the Soldier stood, he moaned launching himself at William. He dodged, firing his pistol and kicking it into the fridge. He slammed the door shut. He took the vial and put it into the machine, it automatically created copies. William laughed, he now had three copies. He walked to the door, turned off the lights and closed the door.

Laney watched patiently as Diana read her section from the book. She was going to make a comment, but Alice was suddenly speaking like she was crazed. And... she was their mentor? Who the hell was making up these rules? She mentally groaned, and was once more going to say something before she was cut off by more yells. She stiffened at this one, though. A warning? "Who's there?" she called in a strong, annoyed voice. She was tired of all this crap, and being little miss clutz didn't appear to be getting her frustration through. "Only minutes before she had woken in the middle of some strange forest, and now she was being told that she was some chosen one with abilities that made her special. "Come back here!" she yelled as she heard him leave. But as she took a step after him, the shaking of soldiers landing to the ground knocked both her legs through the ground. She found her hips and down stuck in the ground, presumable ghost-like as the book had said. "Only me," she grunted, and strained to pull herself back up.

Matthew looked at the Chaos that ensued as everyone was shocked, surprised, scared, wowed, amazed, and going through the floor. He went in order. "In definitely is insane shit. And total wicked epicness. I would like to know if i need blood to survive though...." he wondered, and the book then said "Well, kind of. You need blood or Expensive wine. Expensive wine has the same properties as blood that vampires need to survive. So keep a bottle of Chteau Margaux or something like that around and you will be good.". "Ok thats slightly weird..." he noted.

He then looked to Laney. Ok, look is the wrong word. More of a Scowl. Anyways, Matthew simply said "I am still me and Jenson is still her. Nothing has changed there, and nothing needs to....". Clearly, she had went somewhere she should not have. He then looked to Alice. "You just were not fast enough, and the book said it cant answer everything if that makes you feel better...." he noted. He then added "Also unlike you, this book cant move on its own". Then he looked to Diana. "Honestly, iv thrown my creepy emotion out the window already. I'm officially open to anything at the moment, hell, even the existence of Santa Clause". (and somewhere, he was put on the Nice list... XD). He then saw Laney go through the floor, and then manage to pull herself out. He also heard the soldiers. "I suggest we run down the passageway away from the people shooting at us!" he noted, putting the book under one arm and his hand going back to hold Jenson's with the others.

Lance turned, looking at the girl who was stuck in the ground. He ran to her, and pulled her up, he made sure to mask his face, but at least half of his face showed. He pulled her up, passing her another tracking device, we'll keep in touch. He made sure to cover the Templars insignia on his shoulder. He turned after pulling her up and pushed her towards the exit, he then turned and ran towards the entrance. "Don't go in there yet". Suddenly he pulled out a rocket launcher and fired, so that it blocked the entrance, and the kids were safe for now.

William was shocked to see Lance in handcuffs, he decided to see what was going on. He followed, as Lance was lead to the court -like room. He was called to the stand. William sat down. He decided to watch the events unfold, and as they did, he grimaced.

Lance was taken to the Archon chamber, where he was mentally, physically and verbally berated. William stood in the background, watching.

Later, Lance and William were allowed to talk. William sat, a puzzled expression on his face. There were no cameras, so they could say anything they wanted. William looked at Lance. "Why..".
"It's nearly time, isn't it, Will?"
"Yes, the formula is complete, you should have some.".
William rolled at vial across the table, Lance grabbed it, slipping it into his pocket. He didn't doubt Williams ability, but he wanted to know. "What does it do?"
"It temporarily kills the user, but resurrects them with... certain abilities".
Lance looked at him, wondering. "How many?"
"Just three"
"You know they'll kill you right... Even after all you've done for them. The Templars don't play games. I should know".
Lance looked down, averting his eyes. William looked at him, wanting to be nice, but wanting to not let Lance down.

Lance: Mommy, who's that weird man in Black?
Lance's Mother: That's a nice man from the Templars, here to take you away.
Agent.T: Yes, I am from the Templars. Go sit in the lougeroom, or go pack your stuff.
Lance: Mkay..

UPSTAIRS

Lance: Socks, action figures, music, PSP...
Mother: NO, DON'T DO IT NAAAAA-
*GUNSHOTS*
Agent T walks up the stairs, grabs Lance and the suitcase, and drags him out the door.

END FLASHBACK

Lance looked at William. "I suggest you leave soon. They might kill you, when they learn about.... this".

With that, he stood and left. They walked to the elevator, and Lance said goodbye.
"You know Will, you should come with me, our mission is over, you could leave. We've got all of the Information The Organization needs". William shook his head. "I need to finish the other agents, then I can leave".

Lance looked at him, some form of sadness in his eyes. He hugged Will, his only true friend. He put his hand on his shoulder and took off his glasses, He smiled. "Good luck then, just don't die on me then..." He turned stepping into the elevator. He smirked. He looked at William once again.

Little did he know, this would be the last time that he saw the 'real' William for a very long time....

Lance was back at the passageway, no soldiers would even come here now, he took out a grenade and tossed it. When the smoke cleared he followed the new path, following the tracking beacon. He turned the corner and shouted out again. "I know you're here little birdies, you should stop hiding. I'm here to talk".

Chris was walking through the forest,hunting for the kids.He wanted to prove he was better than that android Epsilon.He always remained hidden,but he had no luck with finding the children.Until...he heard voices-child voices.He went to the direction of the voices but saw that it was a brother and a sister [probably] with their parents.

-what the fuck are they doing here?- he though to himself but decided not to show himself and went to search for his targets elsewhere.

Lance turned, sensing something. He walked towards the forest, he pulled out his pistol. He was still wearing his scouter. He switched to thermal mode. He located someone moving around stealthily. He wondered who it was. Maybe the Assassin, Chris. They both shared a similar dislike of Epsilon. Darn that robot. Hopefully he'd be able to eradicate it. He threw a paper plane at Chris, it hit him in the side. He radio'd the Archon, asking a lot of questions. He sat down. He was extremely tired. He closed his eyes. Reality and fiction blurred, then he fell away from all of it.

Chris felt the plane.He saw lance.He walked out into Lance's sight.
"'Hello Lance,fancy seeing you here...you are after the targets too?''he asked him.He was not so happy since Lance could track him in stealth mode.It always took him down.

"Let's go!" Jenson nearly yelled, already taking off in the direction of the unkown darkness, she had no idea where she was heading but her new powers led her to the left, making her way to an opening not far from where they were. She was still golding onto Matthew's hand for dear life and hoped that she had found the right way out of this place. She didn't want anyone to get hurt, especially her boyfriend.

Lance looked at Chris, smirking. "Yes, I'm after them. I've also found them. They're in this cave here. And if you're wondering why I'm not going to kill them, let's just say..-". Lance pulled off the Templar badge, throwing it to the ground.

He looked up at Chris. "You'd be wise to do the same, the Templars don't play games anymore...."

(I just woke up, so my post will obviously suck >_< )

Chris first disagreed to Lance,but after a few minutes he realized-they are just kids.But he did not cut off his templar badge.
"I will keep it-so i could be able to spy on the Templars.But only until they realize about my treachery.I think we could lead Epsilon into a trap.You could hide the kids elsewhere and i would lead him into this cave-then we could finish him.''he said to Lance.

Lance grinned at Chris, picking up his badge. He decided Chris was right. He smirked.

"We've only been talking five minutes and I already kinda like you" Also, I will need help to extract a friend of mine, William Cortaina, the head scientist. I fear that you may be assigned to kill him. He will probably be able to help us destroy Epsilon".

Lance stood, putting his hand out for Chris to shake it.

He shook Lance's hand.
"Ok,then what are we waiting for-let's go"he said to Lance.

He smirked as Chris shook his hand, and headed towards the Templars base.

Lance stared at the door, he decided that he'd sneak in. He pulled out his grappling hook and launched it up to the ledge, when he was there he kicked open the airvent and snuck in. When he was in, he radio'd Chris, who was somewhere, they'd planned to search the facility, then meet at the labs. Lance took out his knife, snuck up on a soldier, grabbed him and sliced his throat. "I love my job..."

William was working in the lab, when the soldiers came in. He turned around, curiosity in his eyes.

Sh*t

The first soldier, obviously the leader, spoke: "Cortaina, we need the vials, the ones behind you". William smirked as he realised that Lance was right. The Templars really didn't play games. He looked at the soldiers, and put his hand on his pistol. The second soldier lifted their gun, while the leader, held up their hand. "Cortaina, we NEED those vials, and they're ours, you were employed by the Templars, so you should give them the things you've been making.

"Never"

William backed up against the table, knocking a vial to the floor, the sound of shattering glass filled the room, followed immediately by rapid gunshots. The first soldier grabbed the second, verbally berating him. "YOU IDIOT, HE WAS THE HEAD SCIENTIST! HE WAS STILL USEFUL, AGH!" The soldier grabbed the remaining vials and fled, whilst the first crouched by WIlliam. "Damn, I'm really sorry, my partner is a bit stupid". The soldier took off their helmet to give William a kiss on the cheek, and in his deusion, Will realised three things.

1. The soldier was female.
2. It was Jessica, his sister.
3. He was dying.

William looked up at Jessica, slight anger in his eyes. Jess looked at him sorrowfully. "Sherry will be alright, she doesn't know what's in the complete necklace yet. So, are you going to hand over your part of the necklace?" William gripped the necklace he was wearing, he pulled it off, he gave it to Jess, and pushed her away. "You better stay away from the Templars, or I'll kill you myself...". Jess ran from the room, noticing the vial and syringe in Williams hand. William smiled, not a human smile, but a smile that was the very embellishment of anger and sorrow. He raised the syringe and stabbed himself in the Jugular, feeling the venom coarse through him. He'd always been slightly jealous of Lance, that assassin Chris and the prototype he'd worked on, Epsilon. Now, he'd be able to match them, and destroy the Templars, and the kids. He smiled his vampire smile, and his eyes closed.

Lance was still sneaking around the facility, when the lights flashed, the speakers announced that they were in code red. Lance was confused. A group of soldiers rand past him, one stopped and beckoned him to follow. When Lance turned the corner, he was met by a gruesome sight, truckloads of soldiers fighting a monstrosity, about 8 feet tall. He looked closer, realising who, or what, it was.

"William...."

He radio'd Chris, telling him to haul his sneaky litty a$$ to sector C-15. He looked back at William, who had seen him, he pulled out his pitsol, and realised that Will was going to charge him. Lance stood his ground, firing at the beast, it had grabbed a metal pipe and had thrown it at Lance, who had dodged it, and fired his gun. The beast let out a roar, which Lance figured were words. He figured out the following:

"Lance, for years I have been under your shadow, but now I can destroy everything the Templar throws at me, even Epsilon, who was like a child to me!"

Lance looked at Will, or, whatever it was, he was truly sorrowful, he didn't want to, but he had to kill WIlliam. "I'm so sorry Will, my friend.....".

"For the most part, we're pretty secure around here."

Robert began to look around, making sure none of the other passageway doors were breached.
After a few minutes, he came back to the group.
"Doesn't look like they've noticed this place yet. Wouldn't put it past them if they did, eventually, find this place."

Chris wasn't sneaking,everybody didn't yet knew about the betrayal of Chris.When he got news that it was code red he wante to tell Lance that he was getting out Lance suddenly gave a message to him.He ran to the sector to see an 8 feet tall monstrosity.He took out his pistol and started shooting at it but it was no use,it caused some damage-but not for long.He hid to get a good aim with his knives-he needed to hit either the neck or the head.it took him 4 seconds to finally succesfully keep track of his fast actions with 90% chance of him hitting the monster.
"Should i kill him?"Chris asked Lance still aiming at the monster with his knives and his pistol in his other (left) hand also aiming at it.
