Introduction
There's a kingdom, obscured by trees and mountains, where they said magic things happen. That much is true. Now, they say the land is overrun with darkness and death and evil. This medieval fantasy world is inhabited by humans as the single race. All the fantasy creatures are there, though (unicorns, faeries, dragons, Ect). The Evil comes in the form of death and decay. Crops are dying, water turned foul, animals disappearing to escape the plague. Human life is at great risk. The cause: a witch in faraway lands, high in her tower. Allandria is intent on destroying the lands in order to create a sustainable dragon roost. In other words, the death of all living things within the lands. With these dragons, she will overtake the rest of the world. The witch is exceedingly powerful. The tower in which she resides is protected by a single shadowy dragon, whom is named Sethekk.
The Kingdom of Light is a trading center, and well known for it's hospitality. But now the gates are closing permanently. The king is desperate, and will do anything it takes to keep the city from falling into the plague's grasp. No knight or adventurer dares leave now. Hope is lost; who will save these people?
Some 'unlikely heroes' meet each other by chance, and find out that they share similar views. They want to kill the witch and destroy her base of magic, to end the threat of plague and death. But it's not as easy as that. They're poor, yet have certain skills that, together, make them a team.* Also, the creatures that roam the forests and land from the city to the tower are corrupt and bloodthirsty. Trees seek human blood. Glowing moss will devour you whole. Pretty flowers release a deadly puff of poison into your bloodstream. The group must escape the city, and find their way safely through the now deadly land, also voiding the plague. Will they be able to make it to the tower and end the witch, against all odds?

"You see, you poor poor elf, my Family has been at odds with your kind for generations. In order to build on some of the more fertile land, my family had to expel some of you out. Now, knowing the threat of your kind's potent arrows, my family enlisted corrupted druids to attack." He walked to a corner of the room, his eyes still focus on Elenie. "When we met, I was trolling around for anyone who would join me in answering the bounty on the Witch. When I saw the Elven archer, she had told me that her village was attacked and she was seeking the perpetrators. I only had to hint of the rumors of a supposedly malignant witch of the woods to insinuate her clan's attackers." Thanks to the suggestion drug, he had believed every word he had said, just in case the mage would try to discern the truth from his mind.

But he had also noticed that the alchemist had just injested something. He didn't like that.
"Hold your tongue, elf. Insulting the Queen will do you no good, especially here." He spoke with a dark tone, not openly revealing his irritation. Safir then addressed the rest of the party. "I'm not getting answers out of any of you.." he shook his head in mock disappointment and felt his anger slip away quietly. "Perhaps I won't, but the Queen can. She's requested that she speak with all of you. I shall not keep her waiting."
Of course not with them grasping their weapons, so they could kill him and be done with it. Keeping the weight off of his leg, he casted a complex spell that dealt with the mind - the desired affect was their "guests" following him passively. The spell should make their mind desire to follow him without harming themselves or him. The mage took a step back to see what would happen.

Alyss looked in shock at Alphonse. Was he..really? It made sense if he was, and even more so if he wasn't. But then it wasn't her business to interfere with another's family. She rubbed her neck, growing angry. Tension was high, and if she and her friends didn't comply then.. the mage could kill them all. And she was the only weaponless one.
"I didn't agree to see your Queen, I-" .. she stopped and thought. She'd better. Or they would all get hurt. It just made sense to go.. it was safer anyways.. they could run.. no. Running would only make him mad. They should just follow.. she took a step toward Safir, her eyes round.

Anyway it has to be said, I'm hoping Br'nard can have a decent battle scene here with the Witches Mage, as I'm not keen on the idea of simply being put to sleep and passively transported;
Just thought I should make that clear, I'd like Safir and Br'nard to be a good encounter and not simply over and done with in a few spells.
It also gives us the chance to post a great and memorable Battle before the others go on to fight the Witch.

Lurelle, sorry for holding up the rp. My semester started this week and what with work and all, I've been really busy and stressed. I've had like four hours sleep in the past two days and I don't understand any of my lectures :'(
So my posts will be a bit shorter and less regular than usual. Sorry about that. Also, if you need to skip my turn or take control of Safir to move the rp forward, you have my agreement.

Sorry I missed a chunk of the story, something came up, life does that, if anyone wants to hold it against me, tough.
But that said, I am glad to be here again and equally glad to see this Roleplay is still alive!
Point is I'm back now, and so is Br'nard, and he's heading into town, having missed the fight with the Demon he's pretty much at full strength and in no mood to get 'Pwned in a few hits' so I'm going to vote for the big fight scene as he'll most likely attack on sight, perhaps giving the wounded the chance they need to get clear.
