Osborne was raised by his father's parents, Duke and Duchess of Kensington, a couple that could not go a day without erupting into an argument. The mansion was always strained with echoes of Osborne's grandparents voices, very nearly screaming. Before Osborne was twelve, his grandmother, the duchess, passed away of old age, leaving the building empty, cold, and quiet.

From that day on, the Duke of Kensington told stories of his youth to his grandson, engaging him in dreams of visiting that place sometime. The older Osborne grew, the more determined he had become. With the title of Marquess of Kensington, Osborne had many more opportunities than others and with his inherited wealth and acquired wealth, he was able to live out his life the way he wanted to. But with a cynical and morbid outlook on life, Osborne had become far more dark than a young man should naturally be.

When he was able to leave the home and travel, Osborne took over his grandfather's trading company, after many years of ruling it, an issue had suddenly arose. Ibarra Shipping co. had trespassed and were unwilling to leave Osborne's territory. With a brief battle of handicapping each others companies, Osborne made his first enemy, not only that, but he was required to return to London to take care of his grandfather sudden death. To acquire his inherited wealth, Osborne was required to find a wife and marry her to take over the titles. However, with his lifestyle, Osborne, soon after marrying a title-less girl with a small dowry and no immediate family, he soon murdered her in cold blood.

It was never quite discovered whatever happened to Osborne's wife, as far as the ton knows, the girl eloped to France with her lover. During those days, Osborne remembered his grandfather's only wish. For the land to belong to Ruthfords again.
