Description

[pic] Image

Name: Cecil Brundowski

Nickname: Franky "Zappington" Watts

Age: 17

Side: Romeo's

Physical Description: Franky stands at a fairly tall 6' 2" with a toned build. He tries to stay in good shape, focusing on a lot of cardio work, but also lifts weights to keep him in fighting shape. He has thick brown hair that can easily cover his eyes, but he usually uses gel to style it into spikes to keep it out of his light blue eyes. Franky also has many piercings in his ears, nose, bottom lip, and a few less common ones such as a safety pin on the backs of his hands. He likes to keep metal on or around him when possible. Nothing changes when using his powers aside from a slight aura of electricity when its sufficiently built up.

Clothing: Franky tends to wear comfortable clothes, such as tank tops or open Hawaiian shirts to show off his muscles. He also tends to wear steel toed boots, loose and dark cargo pants with a chain belt. He also has a pair of gloves he particularly likes, fingerless leather gloves with metal studs over the knuckles. He also owns a lot of rings, which are simple steel rings which lack designs. He refers to them as his "knuckle busters".

Equipment: Stolen police riot baton, made of metal with a convenient leather loop on the handle so that it can hang at his waist when not in use. Franky calls it his "diplomacy stick"

Mutation(s): Electricity.

Franky is able to generate a lot of electricity from his body, able to then shoot it out at objects or people, or conduct it into specific areas of his body. The only downside to his power is that it puts a strain on his body, so using the ability too long or too much at once can cause his body to shut down on him or kill him. This is part of why he acts the way he does, and why he wears so much metal. Less effort to use his powers that way.

Background: Franky, then Cecil, was born to a very loving but uptight family. His father worked in a factory, making parts for transport trucks and 18 wheelers while his mother was a housewife, partaking in Avon sales to keep the family piggy bank cushioned. When Cecil was born his folks were very happy, up until the point when Cecil could walk and talk. It was around kindergarten that Cecil discovered music via music videos on television, and saw people dancing around and being bigger than life, which captivated the boy. He wanted to be that cool, that flashy and smooth, and so he spent the rest of his life trying to be the rockstar he envisioned himself to be. Elementary school was chock full of trips to the principle's office to explain why he felt the need to dance on the cafeteria tables, or to announce himself when he walked into the classroom. The problems only escalated as he grew, cultivating him into the fine specimen he was in high school.

He was a late bloomer compared to several of the other mutants, not developing his powers until a few days before his freshman year. His mother, as it turned out, was present in one of the cities affected by the chemical rain, which had stayed with her until Cecil's birth. It started off small, clothes clinging to him for no reason, feeling sick every time he took a shower, accidentally shocking people when he shook their hand or slapped them on the back. It wasn't until he got into a fist fight with a classmate his sophomore year that he realized he wasn't normal. He punched the guy square in the nose, not thinking twice about the ring the guy was wearing, when the impact resulted in a shower of sparks and the student's ring hand being nearly burnt to a crisp. This scared Cecil, a lot, and so he went straight home to his folks and tried to get some answers.

What he got instead was a call to the police, and subsequently to the men in dark suits that wanted very much to round up those affected by their super soldier drugs.

Alone and unsure of what his powers could do, Cecil spent the next year living on the streets, training himself and doing whatever odd jobs he could to make money, both for food and for the local tattoo shop for his piercings. When he felt he had a handle on his powers, he did the only logical thing with them. Superhero. Using his alias, Franky Watts, Cecil began to save innocent folks from muggers and the like on the streets, but was quick to give it up when he killed a guy that had a metal plate in his head who'd just stolen a woman's purse. Stealing several bottles of liquor from an ABC store that night, Cecil was drowning his guilt in Jack Daniels when a certain mutant found him, Romeo investigating rumors of a real life Thor, and offered him refuge. Cecil, now Franky, never looked back.

So begins...

As usual in the summer it was another hot and dry day out in the desert. Romeo didn't even want to think about what the temperature might be. It was hot enough that, from where he was standing atop the highest above ground part of the Complex, off in the distance he would see the air shimmering, forming mirages. It almost looked as if the city Romeo had grew up in was just a few short miles away, when in reality it was a few hours car ride north.

Over five years have passed since he has been back to that place, or seen his mother. The poor woman probably believes her only son is long dead by now. Maybe that is for the best. The Romeo she knew is dead and gone, and a new man has taken his place, has stepped up to become the leader of the mutants who dwell within the Compound as well as their protector. Most of those living in the compound believed that everything was fine, that the military was done hunting their kind down and that they were safe in their mole hill. Nothing could be further from the truth though. Everyday Romeo and a select few would keep watch, venturing out into the cities to keep an eye on things. Sometimes Romeo would receive a report that there was another mutant out there somewhere causing trouble, or just generally being noticed by society to the point where the authorities would be called in. It would be up to him to decide if the individual was safe to be brought to the Compound or not.

Romeo hated to admit it, but there had been a few people whom he decided weren't meant to be at the Compound. He hated it whenever it happened, as rare as it was. On occasion it had resulted in a fight to the death. There was a secret graveyard out in the desert, and he had been the one to dig each grave.

"Mirrors, could you let everyone know that it's time for a supply run?" Romeo asks, hearing light footsteps approaching from behind. "We'll leave Hunter in charge until I get back. Anyone who is interested in coming along should make their way to the main gate. Think you can handle that?"

"Sure thing Mister Margrave." Mirrors says with a salute before reaching into his shirt and taking out a fragment of a mirror about the size of his hand. After polishing it on his sleeve he clears his voice before looking into it and smiling.

The Compound was a huge, mostly underground complex that covered something like five miles cubed. There was a small portion above ground made to look like a natural rock formation, but the rest was below ground. The structure was made of stone and metal and there were tunnels and tubes and machines everywhere, supplying fresh air, electricity, clean water, and of course several entry and exit point for everyone. The main entrance as well as all the other entry points were all kept hidden by a powerful psychic who had decided to live among the mutants, so you could only find the openings if you knew where to look. Throughout the Compound there are a series of mirrors set up in corners and on walls, all so that Mirrors can use them to communicate messages throughout the structure.

"Attention all fellow mutants! This is your humble messenger Mirrors speaking, on behalf of our leader, Mister Margrave!" Mirrors face would have appeared in all the mirrors by now, his voice echoing out from them as he speaks. "It's time for the monthly supply run, and he is looking for volunteers! Anyone who is interested should report to the main entrance at once! That is all, have a great day!" By the time Mirrors ends the announcement and he turns around Romeo is gone. With his healing factor, leaping from the top of the structure to make his way back inside to wait for the others was a simple act, despite the three hundred foot drop. "I hate it when he does that..."

Fran would step out in the hot desert, even when far as roll onto her back and lie on the simmering ground while putting her lance to the side of her, watching heat waves yet she was rather from sweating, she was enjoying it as she hand her hands on the back of her head and sighed, her snake like eyes glittered as a reflective surface for the sun to bounce from. All the while as she laid on the sandy, barren ground with some mounts of uneven earth, sand flying away from the orange ground as a humid burst of air passed her, covering her slightly with a dusting of the sand, not that she cared and she would exhale long and deep of the air she had not smelt in a couple of centuries and she would grin.

''Nevada, mother, it is nice to be home again.....hot as ever, the way I like it.'' She would close her eyes for a time listening out to familiar sounds, the cracking of previous wet ground at the hot sun swallowed up all the moisture it had, vultures flying ahead, squawking, it echoed far in this empty space of the world. The breeze sizzled slightly as it touched the hot ground, the sound of shuffling as desert creatures moved around on or under the ground. The trotting sounds of the desert bighorn sheep and the clashing of their horns as they battled for a mate. The singing of the mountain bluebird and the slow shallow breathing of the desert tortoise. Yes, Fran missed this place.

That was when she heard the parting for ground around her and she opened her eyes and she watched as scorpions surrounded her and she would smile allowing them to crawl on her and she even picked some up. The were known for high venomous stings but Fran was immune and besides they wouldn't stink her, ultimately they would protect her as she would protected them, a intense bond between them had already grown.

She'd then flick her hand and they would crawl of her as she slowly got up, bending over to grab her lance from the hot ground and sheathe it by looping it into her kimono and leather strap for it and she would look far with a frown, the scorpions on and around her feet. ''I wonder....are they still looking for me after all this time?'' She would then sniff the air and the scent of others fell under her nose. Her blue snake eyes lit up, changing into gold. ''Nevada...mother...are you homing others since I was gone?'' He would grin, the scorpions parting from the front of her and she started to walk in the direction to the people she could smell...

''I am coming for you....I will kill you...'' She'd hiss out coldly, even liked the thought of killing them, making them disappear from Nevada, her mother...

Fran had a bond with the Nevada desert, she called it her mother as it was where the facility was when she was created and first gained consciousness. Her creators made a dome when she was a child to play in with the desert conditions since she was hot in temperature and needed to keep that way or she would get ill or worse, die. But unfortunately the way the scientists taught her things, treated her and cared for her made her the predator she was today and when she broke from their leash she only got more in tuned with the predator in her...

So she was protective of her 'mother' so she was going to find these people, see them, understand them then kill them....and enjoy it..

Jamison Brook

It was a long night for Jamison Brook. However, this wasn’t anything new. The girl never got any sleep, no matter how hard she tried, sleeping was just not natural for someone like her. Half the night, she was tossing and turning in her bed and the other half, she was up with a massive migraine. One could tell it was another sleepless night for Jamie, considering the dark shadows beneath her eyes. They were darker shades than the night before. What was this, day four without sleep? Or was it five? To her, the days just meshed together and it made it difficult for her to keep track of time. And now, as she continued to stare at herself in the mirror, she could tell the day was just going to be the same as before. Oh, was it really supply run day, already?

She covered her ears immediately at the sound of Mirrors who spoke through the glassy instruments throughout the compound. No one knew that it bothered her that much, and no one else knew that it caused the poor girl to fall to her knees and squeeze her eyes shut as tightly as she could manage. “Mmn…” She murmured, squeezing the palms of her hands over her ears. She hated, hated that form of communication.

She stared at the mirror, which sat in the corner of the room. It wasn’t her bedroom, no, but it was one of the small spaces that she could find some sort of peace and quiet. Her head didn’t hurt too bad. She just had to keep telling herself that, in order to believe it. Should she head out with the others? Would it be too much? No, she should. In fact, she planned on it. Anything to get away from Mirror’s echoing persistence.

“Aye aye capitan.” She purred, her voice soft and delegate as she squeezed herself through the doorway. It must have been some compartment for storage, but it was never used. She liked it for its petite and quaint look.

Jamison fixed the beaning atop her head and made her way to the Main Gate, or, what she liked to call it, “Gate to Hell.” She was there almost instantly. No, she didn’t fly or teleported, but she wasn’t too far from the entrance anyway. And there, she waited, with her usual water bottle and aspirin in hand.

As per usual, when most were just getting out of bed or, if they were early birds, just finishing breakfast Franky was doing his morning grooming ritual. A little beat boxing accompanied the application of a little gel, bouncing to the rhythm of his own funky beat as he got his hair spiked just the way he wanted it. It took half an hour each morning to perform this ritual, a sacrifice he made gladly to the gods so that they may pave the way towards the fame and glory he was obviously destined for. Already dressed for success in black cargo pants and steel toe biker boots, the rock star had nothing else to do to get ready for the day aside from throw on a shirt, which he did with his usual flair. He tossed a black leather jacket into the air, forgoing a shirt today, and punched his arm through the right sleeve, smirking at his accuracy. As per usual, no one witnessed his skill. Once he was dressed and ready to get on with the day, the sound of Mirrors stopped him in his tracks with an announcement about a supply run.

Franky sparked with excitement.

"Another chance to go on tour? Most excellent" He said, grinning widely as he grabbed his riot baton, sticking it in a holster he'd made for it, as well as his knuckle busters and shoved them into his pockets. With his gear collected and his hair perfect, the man bolted out of the door, still beat boxing and throwing in the occasional spin for style as he made his way to the main gate. Franky loved supply runs, or any excuse to leave the compound for any length of time. He thought his personality too big to be cooped up indoors all the time, even if the compound was large, and treasured each chance he got to show the world who he was.

"Woah, don't even think about leaving without the superstar of the team!" He said with a giant grin on his face, no longer beat boxing when he got close, but he was still bobbing about, dancing now to the beat within his soul. He did this as quietly as he could, however, knowing Jamison, Jamie as he liked to call her, had a tendency towards insomnia. "Still no luck catching Z's Jamie? You know you're always welcome to hit the gym with me anytime. That ought to have you falling asleep as soon as your head hits the pillow" Franky said, still smiling as he looked at Jamison. Seeing the bags under her eyes had made up Franky's mind to hit up a convenience store while they were out for some sleeping pills or some headache powder. He may be a rock star, but that didn't mean he could just ignore a fellow mutant's problems.

"Hey Romeo, we got any time to spare for some personal supply gathering? I'm running low on gel and cokes. I can't be fresh if I lose my fizz you know" He said, laughing at his joke. Someone had to.

“Oh you know, any chance to get out of this jailhouse, is a chance to take.” Jamie answered, hearing her name before she turned to face her friend, Franky. She looked him over before she rolled her eyes. Him and that damn musical loving spirit he had. She could never be so excited as he was, though she tried every once in awhile. Yeah she was tired, and the fact he pointed it out made her bow her head slightly. Catching Zs, as he put it, was not an easy task. Jamison stretched her arms above her head before she subconsciencely slipped her thumbs into the loop of her jeans. Her eyes settled on Franky’s for a moment and then off into the distance. She tried not to scare the others, mind control was a powerful gift and she didn’t abuse it. Not at all. “Frank, what’s this about the gym?”

It certainly caught her attention. She hadn’t tried to exercise, she was fit, really fit but she never tried to exercise to sleep. She looked up at the boy and narrowed her eyes slightly. “God you make me feel short.” She muttered, crinkling her nose. She wasn’t that short but some of the boys just seemed taller than her. She didn’t really like it though. She kind of felt small compared to the bunch of them.

“How are you so…awake?” She asked, pressing her finger against his forehead. “And…loud.” She sighed softly, cracking her neck slightly. She smiled faintly.

She laughed now, just barely at his joke. She shook her head. "Oh come on, the fizz ain't so bad without the gel."

Stepping into the cool, if stale air of the Compound was like walking out of an oven and straight into a freezer. Of course the temperature difference wasn't really that great. The temperature near the exits was always kept just ten degrees cooler than what it was outside, and the deeper into the place you went the cooler it got. Some of the lowest levels were so cold you had to wear a coat. Even if it was only ten degrees cooler, it felt better to Romeo.

It didn't take very long for his fellow mutants to begin showing up. Supply runs were popular, something that needed to be done and happened only once a month, but that allowed those who were of a more sociable nature to go out into the world. The group size was always kept to ten or less, including either Romeo or Hunter and the driver. Everyone called the driver, well, Driver. No one knew what his name was, save for Romeo. He was a normal human who would come out to lend the mutants a hand. He drove the truck they took into town to get supplies but he also was a bit of a handy man, fixing things around the Compound. He was one of a very select handful of humans who were allowed to know about the Compound.

It would be a few minutes before Driver showed up, so Romeo decides to let everyone mingle until then. The Compound was a huge place after all, and not everyone got to see each other every day.

Jameson was the first one there, seeming to simply appear as if she had walked through the wall. From the look of things she hadn't been sleeping well, and her head was hurting. Water was a common thing for anyone going outside to have with them, but the aspirin not so much. "We're heading out to Belhart City." Romeo answers Felix's question when he arrives. "It's the closest one, and since we're not looking for anything special this time I thought it would be a good choice." It was only a short time after this that Christine made her appearance, with Romeo shaking his head. "Last one so far, but I believe I can hear the resident rockstar making his way here."

While Franky had quieted down the closer he got to the group, Romeo had excellent hearing and was able to hear him up until the point he actually stopped beat boxing. The young man was new here compared to some of the other residents of the Compound, but he seemed to have adjusted well enough. "I'm sure we can make a pit stop or two on the way." He says with a small smile. As the group gathered and began to talk among themselves he fell silent. It wouldn't be long now until Driver arrived.

Fran would be getting close to the scents of the people, their scent's getting stronger when they stepped out from somewhere walking with scorpions behind her she heard a vehicle, it was heavy, as the desert floor vibrated slightly as it drove fast, the scorpions backed off as she flicked her hand to tell them to do so and a calculated grin appeared.

''Nothing says welcome home but a nice snack..'' She'd almost sing out in happiness as she unsheathed her lance from her back and held the center firmly then her birthmark and snake like eyes glowed red as she burst into flames, even hotter in temperature than the desert and she began to run...fast...

She would carve a flaming path behind her as she ran to the sound of what came clear to her, a truck, a heavy duty one at that and once it came to sight it only made her run fast, her fire even in the morning light was noticeable from after and she would come into view as the truck got closer to the group of people, as much as she wanted to turn to them the truck and the man inside was her first target but that didn't stop her to look at them with a grin as she leaped into the air engulfed in flames and ready her Lance and as she closed her distance to the moving truck she landed in front of the truck and in the way of Driver's sight making him swerve away from the path and come to a instant halt as she used her lance to hit the front of the truck to that the engine was destroyed as well as the casing around it making the truck flip forward which she jump from the front, looking at Driver as he panicked, bracing himself.

She would watch as the truck flipped onto it's back, Driver would put his arms to his face and as the truck slammed into the desert floor, crushing slightly the air bags came out and winded him..

After a moment of silence Driver slowly started to to crawl out, a gash on his head and cuts on his arms from the shattered glass of the front window blasting his way and he would groan, however the scent of blood made her grin further and she would approach the man her body no longer on fire though the path of fire still burned away.

Fran would throw her lance to the side and stand in front of Driver, he put his hands on her feet and she would bend over and pull him out, making him slide on the burning sand from the strength that also peeled skin from him, making him scream in pain and she would walk over to him then step over him to look at the others from miles apart and she would openly stomp on his back, a crack echoed, making her ears twitch but the sound that followed was Driver's scream of instant pain, even bringing a tear to his face, she had broken a rib or two. She just watched the others for a moment for their reaction but she was not done, no, she was just getting started as she picked him up from the collar and her fangs would retract as well as her black claws..

She would grin at Driver who's face was one of terror and she used her other clawed hand to force him to stretch his neck then she would plunge her fangs into his neck, drawing blood and she began to feed. Driver was defenseless and in agony and as much as he was trying to push her away it did nothing.

After a minute of two she finally stopped feeding from him, Driver was paled from the loss of blood and so weak to the point where he was no longer pushing her away, in fact he went limp. She would lick his neck then her lips and coldly drop him in the center of the sandy road. She would then walk to her Lance and sheathe it.

Now turning her attention to the others she was once again engulfed in flames, they dances around her arms, flames spat from the tips of her hair, bone grew from her ears and pointed them with spikes, small bone spikes appeared on just above her eyebrows, the tips of her black claws were orange from the heat of her flames and her birthmark and snake like eyes glowed red violently and she slowly started to close her distance with the group, leaving poor Driver behind her.

But she was not completely alone...scorpions came from the desert, big and small alike and on her lips was a daring grin...

Felix only half noticed Christine approaching, having already gotten accustomed to most of the mutants here. He didn't answer her question, mostly due to the fact that Frank arrived. He was not even close to getting used to Frank. Felix was more of an italian mobster than a rockstar.

He tuned out everything but Romeo's voice when Romeo spoke up, Felix seeing it as something important. Belhart... the name sounded somewhat familiar, but it mostly bounced in the back of his head with the millions of other names. His possibly diminishing memory was the reason he kept a small journal with him at all times. The journal held quite a bit of knowledge acquired by Felix himself. Luckily, it wasn't the only copy he had with him, but it was the most updated one. He planned on publishing it under one of his many names, later on of course. If he happened to die before he could, then someone from the compound could publish it for him, when this whole ordeal was over with.

Ah right, Belhart, that was what he was thinking of. He had an account in Belhart with money but he had no money on him, he'd have to make a withdrawal when he reached the city.

Wait... smoke, he smelled the bitterness and instantly went through a list of smokers in the compound. The list didn't help in the slightest, so he turned to where he thought the faint smell of smoke was coming from. Ahh, it was Christine, with a strange creature. No... wait, those things were called snakes, and they had something specific about them that he should probably remember.

He decided to not worry about the detail about snakes that he was forgetting and instead started walking outside, reaching the hot desert in a few seconds or so. He had gotten used to the temperature about 20 years ago and was no longer bothered by it or rather, he no longer cared.

Felix dropped the lolipop he had just opened after looking outside. He saw what appeared to be an overturned vehicle and a phoenix, not that he believed mythological creatures existed, but it shocked him nonetheless. He was luckily( or unluckily) the first person to exit as far as he could tell, which made him the first to see slightly shocking sight. "Romeo." He didn't raise his voice nor did he want to, he simply called out to get Romeo's attention. Felix walked forwards and calmly.

He wasn't particularly scared, but he wasn't stupid either. He couldn't take on the mutant, or phoenix as he dubbed the mutant, on his own without shifting and he'd probably end up getting hurt quite a bit. Felix pulled out a ciggar and a lighter, and stopped moving forward. He had given up smoking or so he thought, but bad habits were hard to break. Then again, smoking didn't really do anything to him, except for give him comfort.

Back to the situation. It seemed quite dire, and as if a fight would break out. One of the few trusted humans had just been killed, by an unidentified mutant nonetheless. He could recognize most of the people he'd met, and this was not one of them. He wasn't going to initiate a fight, he would wait and see what Romeo decided to do. Felix shifted his insides and put a skeleton around his most vulnerable body part. This shift didn't outwardly change his appearance, but it still cost him a bit of stamina and calories.

The slight laugh from Jamie caused Franky to smile, a more sincere one compared to his usual enthusiasm. He hadn't been in the compound a full year yet and he got the impression he annoyed quite a few people with his constant energy, particularly Jamie, and it did his heart good to see his bad jokes get even a sympathy chuckle out of her. He did a full twirl, balancing on his right heel, and shot a finger to the sky as soon as he stopped. Franky's way of quiet enthusiasm.

"I guess then it's official, Franky can't go flat" He said, smirking before putting an arm around Jamie, trying not to move her much. He didn't believe in personal space, especially with the people he liked, but he didn't want to exasperate the headache. "As for the gym... well, your mighty mind is running ten miles a minute and it keeps you awake, so why not fight fire with fire? If you can't make your mind go to sleep, work your body till you and your brain run out of juice. You get to sleep and your bod looks better for it. How can you lose with an idea like that?" He said, chuckling to himself. He kept his secret to being wide awake first thing in the morning to himself, partly because he didn't know if it was true or not, and partly because he liked the mystery of it. Needless to say, nothing gets your heart pumping like a few hundred volts in place of a cup of coffee. He doubted though it would have the same effect on Jamie.

"I suppose though if you wanted to trust stuffy old medical science, something Franky defies ten times before bed everyday by the by, we could see about picking up some pills and potions from somewhere while we're out. It's not as flashy as my idea, and it won't give you killer abs" He said, flexing for a moment while throwing open his leather jacket to show off his own physique, an attempt at credibility rather than at seduction, "but not everyone can be as electric as yours truly".

His tirade had caused him to ignore Felix exiting the compound, and he only just now realized that there were other people about. Having an audience caused him to smile, flexing again as sparks danced on his skin in order to give his muscles a light show. He loved being around people, and this was his way of saying hi to the group as a whole. Sharing his stardom with the others that they might reach for the same greatness as he.

While the others gathered and began to mingle Romeo takes a few steps back, then turns and makes his way over to the switch that controlled the main gate. From here he could open and close the gate, and there was an emergency switch beside it that would close and lock the gate down so that no one could get out or in without a key, which only he and Hunter had a copy of.

Flipping the switch the wall before him shudders, then slowly rises up, like a huge garage door. As it opens there is a whoosh of warm desert air and a bit of sand. Shielding his eyes for a moment he takes a step outside, and then freezes in place. Something didn't feel right out here. He wasn't sure what it could be, but as he stares off into the desert he begins to feel a slight rumbling that he knew should be Driver and his transport truck. But then the vibrations stopped, and in the distance he would hear metal crunching.

"This isn't good..." Romeo mutters under his breath, glancing back at the others, then back as Felix, who had been walking out ahead of him calls to him. "I see it. Stay back here with the others. Who or whatever that is, don't let them into the Compound, seal it off if you have to."

Romeo then proceeds to walk out into the late morning sun, his long coat billowing out beside him as a hot blast of air moves through. Reaching out to either side he clenches his fists, and spikes begin to rise up out of his flesh. They were about three inches long, sharp as needles, and pointed back towards him. It might look a bit like he had two large porcupines for arms, but these spikes were much more deadly. They couldn't be melted, and as long as he had blood in his veins he could replace them. With his healing factor he was a walking armory, and ready to face whatever it was hurtling towards his home.

Fran would see a figure starting to close in as she walked forward too, with each step she took, the other took back, her snake eyes looked at the figure and she grinned as first, she always liked fighting males then confusion surfaced as she looked at his arms, spikes decorating them like hooks on a fishing line.

She would stop waving her hand down at her feet, the scorpions disbursed away from her as she commanded and she tilted her head, she was now distracted, curious even and so she unsheathed her lance, spinning it above her head lit it up with flames.

She'd then sprint towards Romeo, fire left behind her like a hellish flaming road, her hair flowing in the humid air but she broke no sweat she'd then leap into the air and slam her lance against his spiked arms with great strength that is possible made him stumble. Her exterior was still in flames, her eyes red as well as the birth mark on her left upper arm, snake eyes looking into Romeo's.

A grin played on her bluish lips, she made quite an appearance..

''Mother didn't tell me about you, tell me....what are you? And who are those behind you?'' She'd demand but her voice was seductive no matter harsh her words, she would also put more force into her blow with her lance. ''Mother doesn't want you here.''

Seeing Jamie get worked up like she did before heading outside, Franky put aside his funky ways for the time being, wanting to see what the hubbub was about. No one that had gone outside had come back in, but Driver wasn't here yet. Normally not an odd thing, but the middle of the desert was an odd place to stand around and wait. Watching Christine stomp back in cemented the feeling that something was going on outside, and shortly after Jamie took off Franky made his way as well, though stopped just as he cleared the door. He watched as Fran took her first swing at Romeo, then grinned like an idiot. Finally, after training and playing around with his powers, the time was here. The stage was set, the lights high in the sky to make sure all could see, and there was plenty of standing room for the audience just begging to watch a stellar performance.

It was Showtime.

Franky took hold of his leather jacket and tossed it behind him, letting it hit the wall of the compound before he struck a pose, this one reminiscent of a kung fu stance though he knew no such thing, and he began to bounce on his feet again, bobbing to and fro as he got an eye full of his opponent. She was a mutant, much like most of those around, a fire user with great speed. This was going to be fun.

"Don't you guys worry about a thing. She may be hot under the collar but I'm electric dynamite, baby, I bring the thunder with a boom! Ain't no one messing with my entourage on Franky's watch!" He shouted, no longer caring about keeping his voice down before charging out, laughing from the excitement. He didn't know who this rising star was or why she wanted a fight, but she picked a bad duo to be swinging a metal stick at.

As he caught up to Romeo and Fran, he whipped out his riot baton and flicked his wrist to fully extend it, smirking as he got close. "Baby, if you knew the level of superstar you were tangling with you'd be waving an autograph book in my face, not that stick. You must not know who I am, as sickening a thought as that is. Allow me to introduce myself" Franky said, this monologue being both an introduction as well as a warning for Romeo that sparks were about to fly. It wouldn't be very smooth for him to fry their leader trying to back him up. When Romeo wasn't clashing swords with the woman, Franky stomped the ground, began to beat box, and pointed the riot baton at Fran as sparks began to build up on his body, then moved into his club.

"Franky Special, Pyrotechnics!" He said, an unnecessary act for using his powers, as a bolt of lightning shot out towards the woman. The voltage wasn't enough to kill her, he couldn't pump out that much juice at once and stay on his feet, but it would get her attention and let her know what Franky was about.

As the new mutant begins to spring towards Romeo, spinning her weapon over her head and causing it to catch fire, he keeps the same steady pace, raising his arms up over his head when he sees the attack coming. The flames burnt the flesh of his arms and face, but that healed moments later. The combination of the force behind the blow and the head caused a few of the spikes on his arms to bend, and those he let fall away to land in the sand between the two of them.

"My name is Romeo Margrave, and those people back there are my family." Romeo says in a cold, harsh voice, staring back into Fran's eyes. The attack earlier had caused him to sink into the sand a bit, and the next push drives him back a little further. "I don't know who your mother is, but if she's telling you to try and harm me or my family, then lady, we've got a problem."

It was at about this time Romeo heard Franky approaching from behind him. He sighs in annoyance, knowing that no matter what he was to say the boy would want to join in on the fight. This was a bad idea no matter how you looked at it, since no one in the Compound had any idea what this mutant might be capable of, or if she was a mutant. After everything Romeo has seen over the last few years he wouldn't be surprised that there was something even odder than mutants in the world. His thoughts wouldn't change what was about to happen though.

Pushing back on the lance Romeo lean in a bit and whispers to the woman, "Fair warning, my family knows how to fight," before suddenly pulling away and leaping back.

As soon as he had put some distance between the two of them he lets all the spikes on his arms drop off into the sand. The metal was still hot and if he kept them attached they would continue to burn his flesh. Healing the burns was a simple matter, but he couldn't afford to waste the energy.

Jamie watched the scene unfold in front of her. Franky had joined in close to Romeo and the girl sighed heavily. Oh, she knew now this meant trouble. She kept the distance between her and the guys, but she could see the female in her line of vision as well. She wasn't going to use her powers, not yet, but she knew she would have to soon enough. She looked at Franky, then Romeo. She never got used to the spikes sticking out from his skin, it was difficult for her to understand if he had gone through pain during the process or not. Jamie was feeling better. Much better at that point. If she got close enough, she could control the mind of the woman, make her believe anything she wanted...but she wasn't close enough.

However, she was close enough to push the girl back, if she wanted. She had to wait, because as far as she knew, no one knew she was there. Jamie was crouched in the dirt, the beanie holding her hair in place as her fingers traced the dirt. The stones were light enough for her to pick up, but not heavy enough to do damage. She could lift Romeo off the ground, she had done it once...but he thought someone just pushed him. She had a connection with Romeo, stronger than most, she knew him the longest out of everyone.

She couldn't think about the bakery, not at that point. She shook her head and let out a sigh. Don't be stupid, Jamie. She thought, her eyes locking on the woman in front of her brothers. Jamie was flexible, stronger than most thought of her, and she liked that. She still continued to surprise people, another thing she liked.

Fran would grin as Romeo would speak, her snake eyes like rubies in colour and shine. She would openly smell Romeo, resting her fore head on his own, her hair swaying with the limited air that pasted, the light highlighting the red in her hair and she'd purr before speaking in a silver tongued manner. ''Mother is the air, harsh as it touches your skin, sand scratching at your face. Mother is the orange barren land, cracked and starved of water....Mother is Nevada.'' She'd explain her voice seductive in tone and whimsical as she adoringly described her mother, the desert they stood on.

As she fell Romeo's strength push back and grinned, she loved being challenged but as he suddenly leaped back and fell front slightly then she'd be shocked but Franky having to drop her Lance with a metallic tin like sound as it fell, it was a heavy from the sound of it and her snake eyes would dart to Franky, glowing a flash of gold as well as her birthmark on her left arm as suddenly her finger nails became large claws, the netting on her arm warmers would split open and small bone spikes decorated her forearms as well as just above her eyebrows then her eyes and birthmark would return to red as her flames only went more violent, the heat hotter than the desert itself.

She'd start to casually walk with her hips swaying flirtatiously as she continued to walk to Franky as he caught her attention now, shaking the shock off the burns on her palms and forearms from holding onto her weapon healed instantly and she'd bit her bottom lip. ''I am Fran, a full bred predator and someone that is going to put you in your place. You are to quick to impress others and this is your downfall...now I will test you.'' With her introduction done she would lick her lip, twisting her body away from Franky and started to back flips to him, the force and speed of them cracking the ground open and with the final back flip she'd push herself from the ground, causing the ground to crack and part open causing a vibration in the ground.

While in the air she'd twist her body back to Franky, her fiery, spiked arms and dangerously clawed hands stretched outwardly, she would even go as far as blow a kiss to Franky as she blasted two balls of fire at him before landing right behind him being a purring sound as she noticed Jamie from after, easily picking her out from the norm with her snake eyes...

A random mutant went to tell Mirrors what happened and a few seconds later almost everyone in the compound knew what was happening. Most didn't take it seriously, and Felix thanked them in his mind for that. If they didn't take it seriously, they hopefully wouldn't go outside to face the threat. At the very least, mostly all of the entrances were covered except for one, the main gate.

"Christine, c" He was about to tell Christine to do something before he noticed that Jamie was beginning to leave. "Damn it," he didn't get a chance to warn Jamie before her leaving. He was not going to try to stop her, he couldn't do anything if she really wanted to go, but she could have at least stayed for a short briefing. He then watched with dismay as Frank left and decided that he would might as well let... no, not let, tell Christine that she could go. "You can go if you really want to, you are after all the most capable to deal with a fire-based mutant here." He didn't want to let her go and risk a mutant getting hurt, but he couldn't really do anything about the situation other than fight or let others do it for him.

"I'll stay at the main entrance, good luck." He ended with that and immediately left to go get a fire extinguisher. It took him a few minutes to find one, not that he really thought it would help. He only grabbed the extinguisher for the dry ice it undoubtedly held. He planned on using brain and brawn instead of simply attacking without a strategy. He didn't quite know if Christine had left or not, but he couldn't worry about that now. He instead went torwards the main entrance, waited a few seconds, went outside, then closed it. Anyone who wanted to go outside would have had their chance to leave by now.

He stood outside the main gate with a fire extinguisher on the ground next to him. He shifted into a more slender physique with a bone-like plating over his body. The shifting took quite a bit of energy from him, and he hadn't eaten after getting up. He hoped that he wouldn't have to fight at that instance, or he would be fighting sluggishly, even if he did know martial arts

Oh god damn it, the mutant was looking directly at Jamison. He couldn't just run over and help, even if he wanted to. He was too tired to do that, and he ended up thinking that the armor was probably a terrible idea. Oh god, he was an idiot.

Christine jumping in caused Franky's smile to grow wider, prompting him to strike another pose, this one more disco inspired with his finger pointed at the sky, but as soon as he snapped into position a bolt of lightning shot out of the finger, reaching for the sky. "You bring the heat, I'll bring the thunder. Heart of the storm baby" Franky said, excited now as he dashed forward flicked his baton at Fran again, upping the voltage this time. He had to be careful doing this, his heart-rate spiked each time he used his powers. His record during training was a million volts of power at once, but the heart attack that followed was far less impressive.

Regardless of whether or not the attack landed this time, Franky kept going, going now for hand to hand combat. He knew she'd kick his ass for doing this, but he was relying on his friends to keep his pulse going. That, and if she touched him she'd be shocked, made the risk worth it in his mind. Once he was close, he swung his baton for her sides, wanting to end the fight but not necessarily kill the woman. This could be a misunderstanding, and if so this woman had the right to figure her business out before things got too far. The blow would still come with electricity behind it, as much as his last blast. It didn't take as much effort to conduct as it did to project his power.

"Fran, even your name is two thirds away from greatness. This is a fight we don't got to have babe, not that its not going to be a blast. But we're all superstars here, right? Why not bask in the glory of our badass selves and let it be what it is?" Franky said, continuing to swing the baton about. He wasn't a trained martial artist, but he'd been in his share of street fights and knew how to swing a club. If the woman didn't back down, he might have to sacrifice his trip to town in order to keep the compound safe. Plus chicks dig battle scars.

Fran would block Franky's blows each shock weakened her but also pissed her off and so as he broke his force slight as he talked and attack at the same time she would frown, hissing, her fangs shown as he dodged his next attack. ''You talk too much.'' Was all she would say with a sigh of annoyance then she'd twist herself, her upper body turning away from Franky, her chin just missing the ground as she pulled in the foot that was in the air by now, turning to Franky's chest then she'd push it back out at Franky's chest, a satisfied grin appeared as her ears twitched to the sound of sizzling on Franky's chest, burning it but most importantly the sound of his diagram spasming as the force of the kick not once pushed him back but winded him.

She'd then pull her foot back in, and roll not away but around to the back of Christina, wrapping her arms across her chest, the wrists close to her neck, she squeezed the air from Christina's chest causing her to become suffocated and she would look at Franky as he would stumble back. ''Your over confidence will cause this girl great pain..'' She'd tell him as suddenly from light scars, much like slits on her wrists pushed out black scorpion tails with stingers on them, her crimson blood dripped on Christina's shoulders as the slits were forced open, only causing Fran a little discomfort. The stingers then jabbed into both of the sides of Christina's neck, around the area instantly swelled and went into a bluish red bruise like colour as she injected her venom into Christina's veins, the venom would smell like flowers unusually.

Christina would instantly feel burning, screaming in agony, as she went limp from being paralyzed Fran caught her instead of letting her to drop and she careful laid her down, moving her head so Christina's eyes were looking right at Franky, tearing rolling onto the dry, boiling lightly sanded barren ground. Christina's lips would go blue, matching Fran's natural tint to her own lips and she would turn to Franky and point at Christina. ''This is what you done. Deal with it.'' She would then burst into flames again, running away from Christina and Franky, leaping into the air to dodge any attempt of Romeo stopping her advance towards the compound.

She would finally set her eyes on Jamie, that was lying on her stomach, obviously watching her with curiosity, she would admit, she was charmed by the girl's some what awe over her so as she started to run as her, she smiled sweetly at her despite the face that her glowing red snake eyes were harsh and predatory.

But as she was getting closer to her another person got her attention and she stopped dead in her tracks, only a easy view away from Jamie, her flaming body dissipated as she set her eyes on Felix at first she tilted her head, obviously confused and she would take in his scent, sense familiarity between them that suddenly made her feel complete wanton. This actively panicked her as well as confuse her more.

She would start to pace back and forth, hissing, holding the sides of her face, stomping her foot that cracked the ground from the force. She would scratch at the sides of her face, drawing her own blood as she got more distressed and the lust heightened to a overwhelming extent that as her self inflicted wounds healed she started to growl in frustration turning to Felix sharpily, her blood on the sides of her face only showing the existence of her previous injuries and hr claws would be stained with the same blood.

She would then start running at Felix, growling in frustration to the point that is was a raged scream as she ran at him extremely fast showing how fat she really could go if she wanted something that bad enough and the closer she got the more lustful she got making her frustration and confusion kick up a notch...

Felix watched Christine transform and... literally eat flames. That was a strange sight, but not one that shocked him quite a bit. What did shock him, pun intended, was Franky getting in so close to fight. It was quite ironic, Fran and Frank fighting, quite ironic indeed.

That's when he noticed that the mutant actually seemed to be getting angrier, and this slapped Felix's smile right off of his face. He should have jumped in right there and then, but he couldn't. He was still fatigued and he was slowly regaining his energy through burning calories. He probably should have saved his calories for later, but he had to get into the action as soon as he could.

The kick to Frank's chest made him cringe and start having pure unadulterated rage boil up inside him. The organic armor he had put over himself weighed him down, but getting rid of it would make him pass out then and there. A false hope creeped up on him when he saw Fran back away from Frank, but this hope was utterly crushed after he saw what Fran did to Christina. He should have never let Christina go, he shouldn't have let any of them go. He watched in agony as Fran injected what was probably posion into Christina. Felix felt slight relief at Fran laying Christina down, but not much.

He noticed where she was going next; to Jamie. He tried moving his body, and managed to start regaining most of his energy, but he still couldn't fight. A few more seconds, that was all he needed. He was once again filled with relief when Fran stopped going towards Jamison and went towards him instead.

Something was wrong, but he couldn't quite wrap his head around it until Fran came closer. He didn't think anything of the self-infliction, other than the fact that it was probably a territorial sort of thing.

His body finally responded to his commands when she started running and adrenaline filled his veins. He felt rage and something else bubbling up, but he couldn't really worry about that at the moment. He quickly picked up the fire extinguisher, cut a hole in it, and threw it at the floor. He wanted to aim for her, but he wasn't used to the weight of his armor.

He decided to simply run in and fight, it was all he could do, but he didn't fight barbarously. He began by doing something that would cause quite a bit of pain to him and tear up his nice clothes, sending tendrils out from his back. He could only muster four at the time, which he used in conjunction with his hands to attack sluggishly from six directions. He didn't have high hopes and he was quite frankly, tired from burning too much calories.

Fran would turn to the snake that suddenly leap at her, fangs retracted and what seemed like she was going to slap it away she actually caught it, smiling and put it down before she stumbled back her calm self fading away only to turn to Felix, her eyes flashed a brighter red to the point that when she continue to run, even in the light of the hot day a line of red flowed from them.

She'd leap up, dodging the sad attempt to attack her with the fire extinguisher with ease and as her and Felix were about to about to collide she crouch dodging the black tendrils, lifting Felix from his feet up with such force that she would of broke one of his kneecaps just by her shoulder slamming into it then lodging it up as she lifted from the ground into the air and with another push by putting her long slender legs on Felix's chest she had successfully attempted to jump further into the sky by using Felix's armored chest cavity as a spring board only it was no spring board and the sides of his ribs would fracture from the force.

As she flew up like a phoenix, reaching the cooler air, looking down at Felix like the moment was slowly down as he instead plummeted to the ground, she only smiled with liking to the injuries she gave him and one of seductive nature. As Felix fell at a alarming speed and force, his tendrils spiraled up to her and she crossed her arms onto her chest only to wave them back out like a flap of wings but instead of wings a wall of flames rumbled towards the tendrils burning them, making some boil then explode as others burnt to charcoal, the force of the fire making their compacted and stiffened form break away into ash.

She would then start plummeting down as she sharped her form to that she would catch up to Felix flying straight through the wall of fire as he fell from the height. In catching up to him, she'd grab hold of him from the front of his armor, her feet on his chest only confirming that yes, as they fell from this height she was going to focus the pressure of the fall on his armored chest.

But during this fast falling moment she'd look into his eyes, her hair waving around frantically as was his, hers was dark brown with highlights of red while his was red all over. Her snake eyes, glowing ever crimson blinked and she would put her lips to his neck lick it then kiss it and as she parted away then slam of his chest would come, cracking the sides of his ribs from a fracture to a break, making the armor sink into his chest a little, his blood would be sprayed onto her face and down to her chest.

The ground around them had also sunk harshly, broken apart with this suddenly abuse, making a vibration and a audible cross between a thump and a metallic crashing sound that echoed. She would just stand on his chest still holding on his now broken armored chest then she'd split her legs apart and sit on top of Felix, her eyes never leaving his but her flames around her died down and her birthmark and eyes stopped glowing red but golden and a grin appeared, showing her fangs.

She'd now put her hands on Felix's throat and instead of start strangling him she slowly dug her claws into the sides of his neck all the while tilting her head with the unnerving grin of enjoyment over her blueish red lips. She'd feel his blood run through her fingers and around his head, causing two small puddles at both sides of him that slowly connected into one then she'd slice up, her starting point the deepest where as when she continued from the sides of his neck to the front of his neck the clawing lightened and she brings her lips to his neck and laps at the blood all the while parting the armor from chest and clawing into it...slowly, again starting deep then lightened up as she reached his stomach.

She would lap his blood up a little more then look at his chest and a small laugh came from her before she suddenly rested the side of her face on his badly sliced open chest, only adding the blood collection around them both only it was solely Felix's blood that ran into the cracks of the some what ditch creating a pool of blood around them but spreading out like delicate twigs on a tree branch. She would as this time have her hands on his stomach, resting herself on him as she felt his heart beat she gave out a small laughter once more...
