Sonny Pegasus's Story

"Are you lost?"

Briar looked up from the random bench he was sitting at to stare at the guy addressing him, allowing the large bubble he had blown to burst with an audible pop. "Hm? I don't think so. This is where the Duel Academy Admission Exams are taking place."

"Well you're in the wrong group. This bench is for our group." The other man continued.

Letting out a yawn, Briar shrugged the words off. "I came here alone. Not in a group..." Unless the man was referring to the group his name was placed in on the list. "Ah, you mean the other names next to mine on that list over there? Uh, there was a Colby something....Some kind of horse I think....and a Trisdale something....maybe..." To be honest, Briar hadn't really looked at the other names. He only cared that he was up after someone named "Colby". The rest of the names were really a blur. "And I don't remember the last one."

The man looked astounded to say the least. Thrusting a finger over his shoulder to indicate a few other students at a bench nearby, "You mean Truesdale and Pegasus," he stated, "that's them over there." As Briar got up and headed toward the people the guy indicated, he heard him mumble, "How does anyone not know who those two are?"

Approaching what was apparently his group's assigned bench, he sat next to the Truesdale guy who was indicated a moment ago. They appeared to already be engaged in conversation, so Briar just took his seat to watch the other students mill around.

So these guys are some kind of celebrities? He thought, thinking back to what the other kid had mumbled as he took the seat Briar had been occupying. This should be fun...

Allen turned around and looked at boy that had just sat down. Hmm, there must be something special about him. This aura feels like he's a pretty good duelist. I wonder.. Allen thought to himself as he addressed the boy. " hey there, I'm Allen. And you might be?" He said as his attention drifted from the boy to a duel that had actually begun between a black haired boy and someone who seemed like a teacher. His attention was beggining to dull as he realized the battle was not even in the least bit interesting.

Looking down he took out his scratch pad and began to scribble down some notes about the day so far.
Chronicles: Hey dad it's Allen. Just wanted to see how you and mom are doing. Oh and tell Max that I'll be waiting for him when he comes to visit with you guys. Oh an funny story, It just so happens that I ran into Pegasus's daughter Sonny. You know her, when you went to battle him and that was the first time we saw her. Well anyways, so far it's been a pretty crazy entrance exam. I haven't gone yet but I know that I'm going to do good. I also met some other duelists, they look strong but I hope my thoughts aren't playing tricks on me. Well anyways dad talk to you later love you.
Allen finished writing and put the scratch pad back in his pocket.

After the announcer had spoken, Sonny immediately took the lead. "Ladies first," she said. She drew her card and immediately activated a spell card, Toon Table of Contents, adding Toon World to her hand. She then paid 1000 lifepoints to activate the card she had just retrieved from her deck. After that, she activated her Scapegoat spell card, sacrificing the four tokens to summon two Blue Eyes Toon Dragons. And with that, she ended her turn.

The duelist in blue was by this time already quite panicky. He had never dueled against toons before and hardly knew their effects. He drew his card, placed two cards facedown and summoned his 7 Colored Fish in attack mode.

Sonny drew another card and special summoned her Toon Goblin Attack Force, as well as placing two cards facedown. She then paid a thousand lifepoints and attacked the instructor directly with both her Blue Eyes. He, however, had anticipated as much and activated his Negate Attack trap card. During his own turn he could do little more than switching 7 Colored Fish to defense position.

Sonny's relentless assault continued as she summoned her Toon Mermaid. She then paid 1500 lifepoints and attacked the instructor directly with Toon Goblin Attack Force and both Blue Eyes Toon Dragons, dealing a destructive 8300 damage to his lifepoints.

The dueling field deactivated as the instructor returned to his seat. He had never really had a chance. Sonny too left the dueling field, joining Hannah and Briar on the bench.
