I was thinking of making a Faerie, I just wanted to check if they had any abilities? Such as controlling nature or the ability to transform into nature?

For the most part, the main things that have really advanced are computers (touch screens, projectors, etc), phones, weapons (which includes lasers up until the economy crashes so they just last through the war), the space program, things like that.

Yes. Fairies can do pretty much anything involved with plants above the ground as long as it's for the best

If you decide on human, you'll probably use more weapons. There will probably still be some advanced weapons left behind from the war, so you'll have that sort of variety. Angels depend on mostly magic (which can be blocked using specific signs), but they don't have as many limits as far as traveling goes
