OOC: As a note, moving rp into break with a timeskip. You are still free to carry on with what you are doing at present, just divide your post as I have below until the present affairs are wrapped up. Also please make sure that if with more than one author, that wait till all authors involved post before you do, thank you. Any questions or anything, let me know.Katie Wildman "Yeah, I guess you're right...I bet you get it", Katie heard Willow say, followed by a giggle. That was the second person today who had expressed their thoughts about her winning the crown, first Peter and now Willow, Matt was certainly going to support her if he truly cared for his 'dear sister' as he says. Being Homecoming Queen was certainly something to get hype about, as it was something she truly wanted to make her final year that extra special, yet there was something niggling at the back of her mind as to whether Homecoming was all that would make this special, the scene between her and Peter replaying in her mind over and over again, asking herself if he liked her. Well, he probably did like her like the other guys in school for how kind she was, but she was thinking a more personal likeness.
As much as she loved Jodie, she certainly was one to get straight to the point, "And who do you plan on bring to the prom? You said you're 'not sure about who you want to go with', that implies that you're thinking of someone...Well multiple someones...", leaning back in her chair as if demanding her answer. Heat rose to her cheeks, accepting the reality of the situation that it probably was Peter who she wanted to take, "Not multiple someones, just one, but reason I'm not so sure is if the one is 'the one'. Running for Homecoming Queen is so much easier than all this...", afterall, make one mistake and it could ruin everything and she did not want that. She had to be sure first.
Hearing Willow excuse herself, Katie turned to the door to see Jakob in the window, such causing a thin smile on her face before turning back around. Willow knew who she wanted and it seemed by the fact he had come to her that things would probably work out between them, but the thing was, it was Jakob's coming here that would trigger such events off, but what of Peter. Having only Jodie to console with, Katie turned to her, "I just haven't had much time around other guys, as you know what Matthew is like. Today though, some guy stole Willow's diary so I went to get it for her, but the guy got nasty and tried to get his bud to grab the diary back off me, so I kicked him away and then the guy pushed me. Peter was there to save me from my fall and stopped the fight, and when I gave him a hug to say thank you, he hugged me back. Not sure how it is back in England but some guys don't like being hugged for so long, for image and all that, so it got me thinking", filling Jodie in so that she could probably ease her thoughts.
After giving her the juicy details, she took himself back to that moment. Sure she had a jock for a brother, but even with Matthew towards his sister, there was that firm protective hold she could feel, but who would of thought a jock would be gentle as Peter was, keeping in mind how others feel towards him with his sarcasm, like the one he used with Jace. Surely that too was something, as she turned to Jodie again after writing a few things down for her work before continuing, "I'm not sure what to do, thinking I could talk to him more to find out, but what do I say? and what with Matthew over my shoulder....maybe you can keep Matthew occupied?". Besides, knowing Jodie is there, Matthew can't watch her and Jodie at the same time.........
[Timeskip: Break]
With class over and with Jodie accepting her proposal to keep Matthew busy, Katie felt it was time for her to be free for once. This year would certainly be special, especially now she had Jodie and would be even more if she was Homecoming Queen and if Peter was with her. Giving a hug to both Jodie and Willow before she departed, she began her hunt for Peter. He wasn’t one for socialising as much, such was evident when she called him over to them this morning as he spoke about the football game. Katie respected rules and all that, but when it came to encouraging someone and knowing they can do it, rules was second, hence why she had a great belief that the team can do it and that she would be rooting for them.
It was then that she saw Peter leaning against a wall in solitude. For a jock, for someone on the school football team, surely it was not right for him to be on his own. Being the angel that she was, or what people feel she was, Katie went over to him, ”Hey Peter!”, saying such with enthusiasm with a slight tap on his shoulder on her part. What she didn’t expect was to startle him and make him jump, such causing a small laugh to erupt before biting her lips to stop herself, ”Sorry!”, her baby-blue eyes looking up to him to show how apologetic she was, ”I didn’t mean to make you jump”, using her silence to work out what to say next.
Matthew Wildman Checking her pulse, he could feel it beating faster and faster, clearly the result of a shock to the system after almost falling. Matt had every confidence she'd be alright though, Hollyn was a fighter, just needed a bit of rest is all. Hollyn seemed to find the situation amusing in her giggle, no doubt thinking about the humorous of side of her falling, though Matt was glad that she hadn't, as despite how humorous it may sound, it would be quite embarrasing and she'd be turning into a cherry. Hollyn may not be his sister, but Matt would watch out for her best interests to be a good friend, as well as generally looking out for her like other girls if they are not respected. It was why he was protective over Katie as he wanted to keep her safe while he could, oblivious or ignorant to the fact that he took his brotherly duties far too seriously that he was slightly squeezing the butterfly's wings, but the butterfly had to fly at some point.
Matt certainly was not the stereotypical jock of being 'out there', as he was more considerate with how much a big softie he was on the inside, in contrast to his big muscles and strong appearance on the outside. He politely nodded with a thin smile to Allison who waved at him, not wishing to draw attention to himself to wave back, as this was class at the end of the day, such that Scooter's arrival with his vast bubble of energy was making it questionable if it was class at all. Hopefully My Aylmer would start soon as he set his projector up, since Matt was concerned about his studies as failing would certainly make his parents mad and would also make himself mad.
"Thank you very much Matt", Hollyn said in response with a smile, which Matt was about to respond to until he felt her arms go around his neck, followed by a kiss on his cheek. As far as hugs are concerned, he is fairly used to them through Katie who usually gives him a hug round the waist to say thank you, hugging around the neck was different, seeing that the proximity was much closer, causing Matt curious what to think as the kiss stimulated him, his mind now buffering as he wondered how to react to it and what to make of it.
He had known Hollyn back when she first came to the school and have become good friends with her with the past few years they have been together so knew each other quite well. Unlike other girls, Hollyn was hardworking and was not the loud and showey type like others getting attention. Being protective as he was over Katie, Matt kept his distance from most since he wanted to make sure Katie was safe, so this was, to say the least, a new experience for him. As a result, he felt heat rise to his cheeks, as he then turned to Hollyn, only to see Damian leave over to Carolyne and Akira, such helping to bring out his smile. Not only that, but from reading Hollyn's lips, she was saying sorry so it might all just be a mistake and she mistook him for someone else. "Its okay...", widening his smile, "..and you're welcome, always happy to help".
The awkward moment had of course been lifted by Scooter's arrival as he then begun complimenting girls as he did, before then chatting at the back to get Allison's number which she gave out publically. Allison was certainly one of those showey-types with how loud she was. A total contrast to Hollyn who remained confident and quiet at his side. Matt simply let them get on with it, even if there was a time and a place for all this, so as soon as Mr Aylmer began the lecture, Matt's attention blocked out everyone else, though remaining vigilant with Hollyn incase she needed any help.

(OOC@Hollyn - Matt would come outside with you, where Hollyn/Greyson will reunite as you spoke about in chat)
(OOC@Jodie - Jodie's chance to unite with/mither Matt has arrived!)
Ted Baxter There is a saying that time flies when you are having fun, but time can also fly when you miss out on fun also. It had been a long ten years since Ted was last in town and much had changed. Much can happen in a matter of minutes, nevermind an hour or a day or week, month or year, but ten years is quite some time. Despite the space of time, Ted still remembered the days he used to have, how he used to be and especially the company he was with. Australia offered much of course, in particular surfing and hanging out with the guys on the beach. However, Australia was really for his parents, as he always felt an attachment to his old home, so even if it was for a few years, Ted expressed his wish to complete his studies back in America and then once he passed, he can then decide what he himself wanted to do.
Now back in town, Ted spent the first lesson getting acquainted with the place to set himself up, as well as a meeting with the Principal. He certainly couldn't wait to get out that office, but least he missed out on first period which meant less lessons for his first day which was not bad at all. However, there was one person in particular who he couldn't wait to see, so he asked reception under the pretense of him getting lost and unable to settle in, to ask about his dear friend Carolyne. Being tactful with his tongue, which of course was one use of one of the attractions Ted possesses, the receptionist told him she was in AP Calculus, giving him instructions how to get there.
Seeing her recent picture was certainly a shock, but surely they'd be a bigger shock for Carolyne as he now walked through the corridors to the Calculus room, hoping to meet her when she finishes class to go off to her break. Thanks to the picture, he had an image in mind of what she looked like now. It had been really sad those ten years ago when he had to depart from his friends, Carolyne being his closest and then there was Willow too who was always so reserved, which ironically is kind of the way Ted has turned out, within reason of course.
It was would probably look strange to all the students to see some random guy enter the school and give one of the female students a hug, though taking into account his youthful appearance, the bag over his shoulder to identify himself as a student, and Carolyne's acceptance would make it not seem so bad, just questionable as to who this unknown guy was. Such a time was fast approaching since the bell left and that, was when his eyes laid her. As if like a metal attracted to a magnet, Ted made his way towards her and immediately cuddling her without performance, before explaining himself with just a single word whispered into her ear, "Carebear...", as such would trigger Carolyne to know who he was since such was the nickname he gave her....
(OOC@Carolyne – Now for the reunion =])
Hope Turner What was the hype about the Turner sisters.....well.....see for yourself would be the answer, as Hope strolls into college. Sure walking in after first lesson would be seen as being late, but for Hope she did not have a lesson first so why bother come in and sitting around when she could sleep a little longer and have more time to pretty herself up for the day. She had a dark brown leather bag to match with her shorts and boots, while wearing a lighter brown for her top, such being her color to match with her hair and her eyes. Feeling a vibration from her phone, she slid her arm down to her pocket to pull out her phone before seeing the message from mother. Don't know why she texted her for when she knew all too well that she knew how to handle however, no doubt telling her to take it easy and make a good impression. Well, good impressions are Hope's forte, as she begun texting back on her phone as she drew nearer to the school entrance, diverting herself to a bench to sit down in.
(OOC - Leaving such pretty open since it is breaktime and she's only just arrived - @Faith - Taking it that she has PE first from her schedule, so Faith can rejoin her sister outside seeing that she has already begun unlike Hope)
