After a deadly sickness sweeps through a small city only a handful of survivors are left alive. They have been given special abilities, but now if they want to survive any longer they have to run.

Introduction

CLOSED FOR NOW

Three months ago Bellview was just another small city, just one of those places you pass by on the interstate without ever knowing about it, unless maybe you needed a cheap motel room for the night. It's so small there's no local collage, and really the only two things that keep it going are the hospital on the west side, and the three story mall on the east side. Nothing exciting ever happened to this city, no one was ever born here that grew up to be famous, but, for seemingly no reason at all, one day the government stepped in.

A series of odd circumstances lead to the government closing all roads leading in or out of Bellview, then quarantining the entire city on top of that. No one was told what was happening as men in military uniforms with gas masks lead them, with guns raised, out of their homes and apartments and into the streets, where they were then loaded up into military style vans. The vans delivered the civilians to the hospital, where they were placed in rooms where nurses and doctors, who also had their faces covered with protective masks, ran seemingly simple tests on them. Again, they were told nothing, and the one large group was split up into three smaller, more manageable ones. One group stayed at the hospital. One was sent to the mall, of all places, and the last...well, no one saw them again.

Over the next few hours everyone in the hospital began to show signs of some sort of sickness, presumably the flu, and within days so had those in the mall. Over the course of a couple of weeks, they were all dead. The only survivors in the entire city of Bellview were now being held in an unknown location, and the city was unofficially declared a deathtrap, and officially closed for business indefinitely.

What does this have to do with you? Well, that's simple. You are one of the Survivors, one of the dozen or so people who survived whatever swept through Bellview, and you have been locked up in an unknown location. Over the past two months, since the end of the city, the government has kept you in the dark. They've been running tests on you, keeping you in a semi-catatonic state while they do whatever it is they do. You know nothing about what's been going on, where you are, or what happened to the rest of the city.

You are a Survivor, but what is that exactly? What does it mean?
This means that you are special. That something about you kept you safe from the sickness that swept through Bellview, killing hundreds, and that you now have access to special abilities that no other human does. Mental and Physical energy. As a Survivor you have unlocked the ability to communicate with other Survivors with your mind alone, telepathy. And you have also gained the ability to create and send out energy based attacks, just like in the cartoons.

At first your mental, or psychic abilities are limited to telepathy between yourself and other Survivors, meaning that as long as you are near enough you can speak to others of your kind with your mind alone, and they can speak to you in the same way. As you learn to control this ability your powers will grow, and you may be able to do much more.

Your physical energy attacks are, at first, very weak. You'd be lucky to generate a blast powerful enough to knock someone off their feet, but as with the psychic abilities, they will grow and mature over time.

However, the is a price to this.
The more you use your abilities, the more of your humanity will be lost. If you constantly use anything but the basic abilities, or should you abuse or simply overuse your abilities, you will begin to take on a alien form, and eventually there will be nothing human about you, and you will turn your back on humanity and try to wipe it out...again.

Character Sheet-

Name: (your character's real name, first and last at least please)

Code Number: (each Survivor is branded with the letter of their last name and a 3 digit number)

Age: (age of your character)

Appearance: (what your character looks like, include physical description, no need for clothing as that will change soon. Add a pic if you want as well, but you have to describe them in words)

Personality: (always optional in my roleplays, you don't have to say anything here unless you want to)

Talents: (anything that might some in handle, like medical training, cooking skills, self defense, etc.)

Abilities: (three parts here, Psychic, Energy, and Unique)***
Psychic Abilities- (describe what psychic powers your character will develop over the course of the roleplay)
Energy Abilities- (describe what Energy powers your character will develop over the course of the roleplay)
Unique Abilities- (everyone gets 1 unique power, describe it here and tell if it is Energy or Psychic based)

Equipment: (at first you will have nothing, but as the roleplay goes you can pick up items and use this to keep track of them if you need to)

History: (we just need a basic history of your character, like what they did before all of this happened, if they lost anyone due to the sickness, even if they don't know it yet, and why they were in Bellview, also, if you want you can list what they plan to do after the escape)

Other: (anything else you'd like to add about your character can go here)

-=-=-=-

***When it comes to your unique ability it needs to be either Energy or Psychic based.
An example of a Psychic ability your character could have would any sort of elemental kinesis, such as pyrokinesis, creation and control of fire. If you need help here, or just need the name for the element in this form, feel free to ask.
An example of an Energy ability would be shaping the energy into, say, a shield or a weapon. Again, if you need help, please feel free to ask.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to voice them, either in the OOC or via PM, either way works. And please keep an eye on the OOC, as I will post updates and other such information there. As I mentioned earlier there are only around 12-15 Survivors, but I'd rather not have any more than 6 players, otherwise it might get a little confusing. Now, if you want to have more than one character, that's fine, just so long as you can handle it.
If something comes up and you need to drop out, that's okay, just please warn us.

RULES
Please write at least a paragraph per post
Romance is fine, just don't take it too far in the IC
Cursing, go for it
No god-moding, and I'll be deciding that by the way
That's about it really...

((For the sake of moving things along I'm going to do a time skip of like 5 minutes, just long enough for us to get some distance between us and the secret base))

There were alot more of them than Spike had thought there were at first. He hadn't actually counted, but on a guess he'd have said there were at least ten people in their group now, ten patients. Because no matter how you looked at them it was still a random assortment of people, all wearing simple, hospital-style clothing, and all currently sitting in the middle of the woods, in the middle of nowhere. It would probably seem funny to anyone else, but no one in the group seemed to be laughing. Alot of them had gotten wounded in the escape, but thankfully they were all still alive, and it seemed the majority of them had at least the very basic of medical teaching.

"I'll be fine, I've got no major wounds, just the drugs still in my system and a few cuts and pokes, that's all," Spike says to the woman with the prayer beads. He was sure he had heard the names of at least some of the group, but his head was still a bit fuzzy, "I think some of us have been shot, worry about them first, alright?"

Once this is said he rips off the sleeves of his hospital gown, then starts tearing them into strips and goes over to the man who had gotten shot a few times, the one with a hole straight through his left hand. While finishing up with making the bandages he hears someone ask if anyone had a clue as to where they were, and if they could get their hands on some normal clothing, but because he wasn't sure who had said it, he spoke in general.

"I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't remember much, and I certainly don't have a clue as to where we are exactly," Spike says to everyone, then moves over to the man with the hole in his hand, "Here, let me take a look at that. I'm no doctor, but I got two years of training in," then to everyone, in a louder voice again, "Assuming we don't have a map of any kind, maybe we should just all move in one direction. We'll find a town of some sort eventually...right?" He was just talking really, trying to keep calm as he waited for the man, Hideaki was his name, but Spike didn't know it yet, to let him look the hand over. If he agreed then Spike would bandage up whatever wounds he could as best he could with the materials at hand, then move to help someone else.

Arthur had barely managed to keep up when they were running. Since the curving bullets, everything seemed to move in a confused blur to him. The bullets had curved, people had been yelling, someone had directed some form of condescending remark towards him, and than he had been pushed towards the window. At that moment, he remembered feeling lightheaded from hyperventilation and nauseous from the strange feeling in his chest. It was like something in his rib cage was slowly expanding, compressing his heart and lungs while expanding his rib case beyond it's limits.

However, the most physical wound he had was a simple one. A bullet had grazed his upper left arm, but it had done barely more than a scratch - which was certainly not an understatement. He was just glad they had a moment to rest, lungs feeling as if he had taken a deep breath of something toxic. Looking around at all the people, he noticed how many of them there were. Even as the feeling of faintness and lightheadedness remained, he counted the people. Ten people. Then people had been trapped just like he had.

Wheezing, he closed his eyes, slowly regaining his breath. Arthur had been born with weak lungs and many medical problems had stemmed from it, but hopefully it wouldn't slow him down too often for too long, especially now. He listened as someone spoke, it sounded like the man that he had assisted back in the facility, so he assumed it was. The more he thought about it, the more bizarre the situation was. He felt guilty, wishing he could help, but his medical knowledge extended barely past the normal, every day band-aid - And some of these wounds seemed to need a bit more than a band-aid. As the man finished speaking, he just nodded. Surely it wouldn't be too hard to find a place, America was pretty densely populated, wasn't it? They would reach somewhere eventually. At least he hoped so, he hadn't lived in America for a very long time at all, really. Just a year, give or take a month or two or something of the sort.

"What about what happened back there?" he spoke very softly, opening his eyes slightly to be able to see the people around him. "Those...Strange things that happened?" He trailed off a bit, noticing the heavy atmosphere. Forcing a smile, he tried to lighten the mood - even just slightly. "B-But besides that... We're all alive! T-That's certainly jolly good!" he said, sheepishly. "It's a good thing we m-managed to escape that little ballyhoo back there, isn't it? Bloody hell!" He laughed in a manner that was hesitant and sheepish, laughter slowly fading off as he realized how much of an idiot he had made everyone think he was. He hoped that he was understandable, his speech was breathy and gaspish (His stammering didn't help), which probably made him look even more of an idiot. His timidness and awkwardness certainly tended to be a bit of a Social handicap. "U-Um... Can i help in any way...?" he offered quietly afterward, he didn't want to be completely useless.

Ashley is one of the last of the group to appear because she is one of the slowest of the group of escaped at the current time, but this seemed to be that she was lucky in being so slow right now, because all of her hindrances to escape have been take care of without her having to do anything besides walking out of the facility with the help of Lillyan.
In fact Ashley even managed to steal some medical supplies(two syrines, an IV pack of saline solution and an IV pack of adrenaline) which she stores in the pockets of her hospital dress.
Moreover thanks to the fact that she had no hindrances on he way out her physical appearance does not show any wounds.
During the walking time between the facility and the little group outside she was not saying much but her a mental conversation with the strange voice inside of her head.
"Damn this was all so boring..I have hoped for you to do something useful ...." the voice says sounding really dissapointed and bored.
"Well sorry for not going crazy there and killing people....but hey I at least stole some stuff so calm down will you?" Ashley answered in a way that almost sounding like a defensive argument.
"Well true....but I expect more of you....I hope you will start entertaining me soon" the voice said rather bored.
"Yeah right ...maybe later" Ashley answered slightly annoyed.

As soon as she reaches the others, with Lillyans help ,the voice fades and she drops on the ground,in a sitting position, like a sack of potatoes.
After doing that, she takes the Iv pack of saline she stole earlier and, because of a lack of proper tools, she takes it in her mouth and bites it open - Of course as that happens, a bit of the liquid drops on her dress making it a bit wet - and, unfortunately, slightly increases the fabric's transparency.
After opening the IV pack she drinks it all at once, thinking that it would probably eradicate the effects of the sedative and propable other drugs, as well as helping with her feeling of soreness she has all over her body.

In the moment she finished drinking the liquid she looks around the little group, while remaining in her sitting position.
She does not really wonder about the number of the ex-prisoners since its not unusual for test subjects to be in rather small numbers, but still have to be large enough to have a certain level of empirical value.
While her thoughts trail off a bit in the methods of empirical tests and their values to todays level of science, she hears and sees a man who seems to be trying his hardest to cheer everyone up a bit, even so he seems to fail quite miserably at doing so.

While she sees that she thinks "Oh man, this is just to adorable....and dumb at the same time."
Seconds after thinking that she forces herself to stand up again(the IV pack does not work so fast^^) and walks over to the man.
As soon as she stands right before the man she looks into his eyes while smiling a bit.
After doing that for a few seconds she says rather silently to the man
"You know, you don't have to force yourself to make everyone feel better, besides after such a physical and mental shock it might be best for everyone to just try to comprehend everything that happened."
She says this while assuming that the side effects of the drugs and of the new powers would be similiar for everyone in the group.

Arthur closed his eyes for a moment, waiting for someone to answer how he could assist one of the others. His mind raced, trying to think about what might have happened before to get him where he was now. Why on earth was he in that facility in the first place? Did this always happen in America? Suddenly, he found himself yearning to return to England or Ireland, just to be somewhere familiar again. England, where he had lived most of his life. Ireland, where the vast expanses of land stretched out like a blanket of beauty, everending. The timid man felt a sudden pang of sadness thinking about it. 'You know, you don't have to force yourself to make everyone feel better, besides after such a physical and mental shock, it might be best for everyone to just try to comprehend everything that happened.'.

Arthur hesitated a bit before answering in a very quiet voice. "W-Well... The air just feels so heavy... It's easier to think when troubles don't cloud your mind... A-At least... I find it easier..." he paused, coughing. "Sorry," he apologized, shyly. As he glanced up, he realized the woman speaking to him was rather attractive. She had black hair and sharp, piercing eyes. When he noticed the slight transparency of her dress, he reddened in a flustered manner and looked away.

Forcing another smile, he spoke again, just as quietly as before - just barely above a whisper. "W-Well... Hopefully, i'll be able to help someone. I'm not a medic by any means, but i'd like to be helpful in this situation."

As soon as the man starts answerering Ashley thinks to herself
Hm he seems to not be used to talk to women.. or to a lot of persons. And why is he sorry,or why is he looking away?. Oh well...this somehow makes me wanna tease him....
While she thinks that the voice inside of her head comes back and says to her You should tease him that would be funny^^
After Ashley really thinks about that for a moment she says while still smiling a little
"Well do not get me wrong I just wanted to make your life a bit easier and I am sure you can do something which none of can as good as you so the time will come when people will ask for you help. Do you mind if I ask why you are apoligising for. Oh and where are my manors I am Ashley Alice Blackswell the third but its alright if you want to give me some kind of nickname or call me Ashley or Alice or something like that."

While saying this she thinks that should make him feel a little better at least towards me...
As soon as she says this the voice in her head starts talking once again my my aren't you the nice little lady again who her parents taught to be like?....can't you think for your own once in your life..?
Ashley replies I can not help the way I was raised now,can I?...besides what are you?... some kind of side effect of drugs?.....some kind of manual to use my powers?...
The voice answers in a laughing tone curious aren't we? but well you are right and you are wrong at the same time...now have fun solving this I will leave you alone for a while.

Hideaki remained laying on the ground until a man came up to him and started talking. He seemed to be somewhat of a leader type. He was certainly acting like a voice of reason. He took a piece of his clothing and wrapped it around Hideaki's wounded hand. After this Hideaki layed back and rested his head on his good hand. The pain went away for most part on its own. Also probably the work of the voice in his head. "We should get a fire started, if were gonna stay here." He noticed that the other man was walking away to help the others with their injuries. "Hey. I think you forgot my leg." Hideaki pointed to it arrogently, and rather ungratefully. "Find something sharp, preferably metal like a knife to dig the damn bullet out, before I get infected. Then get a fire started, heat up whatever you got to get the bullet out, and push it against the hole to seal it up." He then turned to a girl, who was talking to herself. He had no right to judge sence he was doing the same thing earlier. He noticed that she managed to snag some supplies from wherever they were at before she escaped. She then went off to socialize with another person who was trying to lighten the mood for them. "Hey you. Girl. Got any alocohol or anything? If I am infected, I'll need something to clean it out." He then turned his attention to the male she was talking with. "If you can't help medically, maybe you should go gather some firewood, or find some food maybe? If you can, find something that we can use as weapons. Perhaps your someone whos better suited at killing, like me. You don't look like the type, but then again. Looks can be decieving. After I can move again, I plan on going hunting for some meat. "I'm not the type for helping others, unless it suits me at the time. Especially with wounds." Hideaki then layed his head back to rest. This time it was on both hands. The pain had completely vanished from his hand. His leg, still ached a little however.

"That wasen't very nice. You wont make very many friends that way. Your not very good with first impressions, are you? Hehehehe." Hideaki's eyebrows twitched at the sound of the voice in his head. "Shut the hell up. I don't want to hear it from some damn voice in my head. Go lecture someone else, Mr. Pain in the ass voice." Hideaki once again tried to relax before the voice interrupted again. "Now now. Is that any way to thank someone who just saved your life? Then again, I had a little too much fun doing it. Hehehehe.", "Don't wanna hear it!" Hideaki said in an almost yell. "By the way. I don't remember being this bloody. Just what the hell did you do?" He took one of his hands out from under his head to examine the amount of blood on his fist. "What can I say? I just couldn't help myself. I've never known what its like to have a body before.", "That reminds me. Why the hell did you give me my body back, while you were running? My leg hurt twice as much when you did that." The voice didn't respond for a few seconds, which made Hideaki wonder if it was ignoring him. "...He-", "I'm not sure. Maybe theres a time limit to how long I can control your body. I planned on killing these other humans and taking what they had before giving it back to you. Just a few more seconds, and I would have ripped all their heads right off their bodies. I personally don't trust them. Hehehehe." Hideaki was surprised to find that the voice couldn't control his body as long as he wanted. He was so surprised that he didn't notice the part about killing everyone else. He did however, hear the part about not trusting them. Surely they would eventually wonder why he was covered in so much blood. There was definately too much for it to be all his. Not to mention that he tipped them off that he was more of a type to kill. 'I can't stay with these guys much longer. They'll figure out that I killed those guards back there soon enough, even if it was really this guy. They'll consider me a threat and try to kill me, while I'm weak. Once I've healed my leg, I'll ditch these guys. But will I have enough time?' He thought to himself while looking in he direction of the girl he had ordered before. 'Could she have seen me? I don't remember seeing her go through the window. She even had time to get those supplies, she surely saw me. But why hasen't she said anything by now... Could she be scared? Or maybe she didn't see me.', "Hehehehe. How pitiful of you. You don't trust these people any more then I do, do you Hideaki? Your scared, aren't you? I can feel your ambition. You want to escape as soon as possible. But if you let me take over again, I can take care of them right now. Your fear will go away." Hideaki tensed at the voice's words,. He immideatly sat up, causing a jolt of pain to shoot through his leg. "Gah!" He yelled out as he grabbed his leg, as his eyes opened wide, and his teeth gritted against each other. He was incredibly paranoid, and the voice could sence it. He could sence a few weird looks at him, as he did this. They'd definately figure it out soon. When they did, he was as good as dead. At least thats what he thought. He considered letting the voice take over one more time. He opened his mouth to reply to it. "But... If you let me take over now, it'll be all the easier for me take over later against your will. I can probably control you longer too. Eventually, there wont be anything left of you. Soon I will be the new Hideaki Seitan. HAHAHAHA!" Hideaki paused in his responce. He couldn't trust the voice either. Never before had he been so afraid of being by himself. He didn't care about others for the most part, and did things his own way. For once he truely feared being... Alone.

Lillyan sat on the ground in the woods, with her legs crisscrossed, as everyone else was tending wounds and being attended to. She couldn't do much medically. She was a reporter, occasionally she wrote an article or two on people in the medical field, that's about as close she came to it. And then there was something about the way the guards ignored her back there, treating her as one of their own. She knew how she did it and didn't know how she did it at the same time. It was very... peculiar. But because of it she had managed to make it out virtually unscathed.

She heard the girl she had helped earlier, Ashley, she heard her mention her name to the man she was talking to. When the man mentioned something about not being able to treat injuries so well, she heard the one covered in blood, who was now making some rather strange facial expressions as if he was confused? Angry? Frustrated?... Anyways, she heard him mention something about getting firewood or finding food.

Just then, she heard something in her head again. A voice like something she had heard during the escape, when people were calling for help. Fragmented words like, afraid, can't trust, and most of all, kill. She shivered and looked around. She had began to realize this was because of something that had been done to all of them... something about being able to hear each others thoughts... But whose thoughts were these? They were creepy.

"That would probably be a good idea," she mentioned, shaking herself from her thoughts. She tapped her chin. "I think we're far enough away for now... And everyone needs some time to recover from their injuries and whatever junk they had us drugged up on in there." She pushed herself up off the ground. "Would anyone like to go with me?" She looked at the man who had first spoken up, the one who had been suggesting directions and a plan of action at first. Since he seemed to be the one taking action here. "If that's the best course to take, I mean... The staying here part."

After taking care of the wound the one man had taken to his hand, Spike began picking up fragmented voices, some real and some from within his own mind, but he was having trouble telling them apart, and so he tried to ignore both of them for the moment. "I didn't forget your leg kid," he responds to the one he had just treated, "I maybe only have two years under my belt, but I did learn how to tell what a gun shot wound looked like, and if the bullet were still inside, what needed to be done, but we don't exactly have a medical kit out here do we?"

Looking back at the man he saw that he was not sitting up, and wincing in pain, which told him it wasn't really as serious as he made it out to be. I mean, sure, he'd be shot in the leg, but people were walking around with bullets in them as they spoke...or at least he still hoped there were other people walking around, besides the men who had taken them captive. But he had the horrible idea in the back of his mind that there weren't nearly as many people as there had been.

You've really got no clue as to what's going on here, do you slick? the voice in his head asks of him, Think of it like this...man grew smart and made their own, physical weapons, right? Well, you've gotten smarter, like the rest of them, but you've got no physical weapons...
"You saying this is all in our head?" Spike asks himself in a low voice, taking in time in looking his arms over, trying to keep it so the others couldn't see him talking to himself, "Some mass hysteria?"
Now you're catching on. It's on the massive scale, but believe you mean, it sure as hell ain't no hysterical panic...this is real...

"That would probably be a good idea," he looks up and over to the girl who had just spoke. "I think we're far enough away for now... And everyone needs some time to recover from their injuries and whatever junk they had us drugged up on in there." She was getting to her feat now and looking his way. Did she think he was the leader? He hoped not... "If that's the best course to take, I mean... The staying here part." Was she asking him? Dammit.

Spike stands there a moment, wiping as much of the blood from his hands and onto his pants as possible, taking the time to try and think up the right words for what he wants to say. He had started getting used to giving and taking orders as a med student, but that had been years ago, and since then he'd just been doing his own thing.

"Look, this may sound arrogant, but take it however you like," Spike finally says, letting his eyes scan everyone, "I'm no leader, I'm just a guy who draws for a living...you can call me Spike...as I was saying, I'm no leader, I just speak my mind from time to time, I don't expect anyone to listen." He paused again, letting this sink in for a second, then he adds, "Now, my opinion is that we should take some time and rest," he then walks over to the woman who had talked of getting firewood and asked for help, "I'll go, there not much I can do here that anyone else can't handle. I doubt we need alot of wood, we don't want anyone seeing the fire..."

Lillyan shrugged her shoulders after the guy finished speaking up about leadership, although all she really wanted was someone else's opinion as to what they were all going to do. She didn't want to go off and get firewood and come back to find that everyone had packed up and moved on without her. It would probably be better not to have a defined leader anyways, since no one really knew each other and each other's abilities at that point. Right now it would be best for everyone to contribute what they could to helping the group escape.

"Sorry about putting you on the spot like that," she said to him after he volunteered to help find the firewood. She gave an apologetic smile. "As soon as I asked the question I could see you panic and realized I had asked the wrong person. You're probably right about people seeing the fire though, but maybe it would be a good idea to go walking around the area anyways. Cause I'm sure no one has a clue where we are. We could be in the woods behind someone's backyard for all we know."

The thought that they could be that close to real clothes, good food, and other living, breathing humans made Lillyan excited, until she realized there was still a possibility that that might not be the case. What if there were other towns like Bellview? Or, what if they had been right down from Bellview all along? She frowned and looked down at the ground for a moment before shaking the foreboding feeling away. "Anyways," she looked to Arthur, who had said something earlier about wanting to help. "Would you like to come as well then?"

Maybe they should all just get a move on to put as much distance between them and that place as possible. But she wasn't sure about the extent of some of their injuries and how heavily the drugs had affected them.

Arthur was quiet as the sound of voices buzzed around him for the most part, unable to pick up anything in particular. He glanced back up at the girl speaking to him before looking away once more, she was speaking to him - Straining, he listened. 'Well, do not get me wrong, I just wanted to make your life a bit easier and I am sure you can do something which none of can as good as you, so the time will come when people will ask for your help. Do you mind if I ask why you are apoligizing for. Oh- and where are my manners... I am Ashley Alice Blackswell the third, but its alright if you want to give me some kind of nickname, or call me Ashley or Alice, or something like that.'

"M-My name is Arthur... Arthur Love Valenstone..." he said, quietly, forgetting about her question about what he had been previously apologize for. "I don't mind what you call me, whatever you are happy with, i'll do my best to respond to. H-However, i have to remain skeptical about people asking me for help... I'm not particularly useful." His voice was practically inaudible at this point, trailing off near the end of his his sentence. His breath was more or less back to normal now and he felt much better than he had several minutes ago.

Than, he heard someone speak a bit more loudly than the others, and he looked over. There was a girl looking at him - Had she been speaking to him? "W-What, sorry..." He tried to remember and figure what she had said. If he remember alright, she had just asked if she wanted to come with them. They had been talking about firewood for a little bit, so he assumed that was what he was going to be gathering. "Y-Yes, i would love to come along." he said, standing up, although he took several steps away from the group. Standing up might draw attention to him, and he generally found too much attention to be suffocating and uncomfortable.

At this time he noticed that the wound from the bullet grazed his upper left arm had already clotted and wasn't bleeding much anymore - Most likely nothing to worry about now. He felt guilty when he saw that the wound has stopped bleeding, knowing that there were others who had been shot who were still probably in great pain - He had escaped with minor injuries. 'I wish i had more medical knowledge... he mentally lamented. 'Oh, bullocks.. However, he was glad that he could help with something! Even if it was gathering firewood or whatever he was about to do - His brain didn't seem to want to recover from the psychological shock enough to let him realize that things actually made sense around him.

Ashley keeps smiling until Arthur walks off.
While he is not walking of she hears a man say "Hey you. Girl. Got any alocohol or anything? If I am infected, I'll need something to clean it out."
As she hears that she feels kind of like a kid getting lectured by an adult which offends her quite a bit.
And another little mental conversation takes place in which the inner voice basically wants to damage the mans body even further and Ashley not agreeing with it.
After Arthur walks off she walks over to the man of who she thought that he lectured her.
She pulls out one of the syringes that she stole before and kneels down before the man putting the syringe on the ground.
Then she says "You know when you want someone to do you a favour or help you, you should not lecture others."

Then the inner voice comes back you know you do not have to help him.....
Jeez I know ...but I am just kind okay?
But is this really what you want? You know this is a new world now and you can become one of those who rule it...
Wait ...what are you talking about?
Hehe...I will show you you just watch and enjoy its something you want to do after all.

After the little mental conversation ends Ashleys eyes turn into a dark red/black colour which look at the man who lies before her.
Then she lifts up her hand and says "But well this time I will be nice and help you."
The voice of Ashley sounds more seducing and slightly deeper then her original one.
Right after the she says this the bullet inside of the mans leg moves a bit around in the wound which must hurt a lot of course and then the bullet rips through the skin and a bit of flesh and flows staight into Ashleys palm while having a redish aura around it.
Then Ashleys eyes turn back to their original colour.
While Ashley thinks the hell was that ?
hehe... a glimpse of what you are able to do now...

For a moment, Jonah could experience everything... bullets whizzing past him, the screams of those that were falling pray to the sting of lead or batons, as well as the man running towards him from the window. It was all surreal and slowed down, even the pain from a bullet as it grazed his arm. Jonah turned from the force and shock and blasted the one responsible with a blast of energy from his right index finger. Everything that happened afterwards was a blur, as though time were catching up with itself after slowing down, and the next thing Jonah remembered was the gang of patients being in the woods trying to decide what to do now. It looked as though his cut arm had been tended to a bit, wrapped with a torn bit of his patient gown, but he still felt ungodly cold. He looked around at the others and let out a long sigh, his breath still visible as though it were a cold winters day.

"Thank you, whoever came back for me" He said, fog coming from his mouth with every word. He stood up, having been sitting in a trance ever since they stopped running, and tried walking around a bit. His arm was still sore, but the strength had returned to his legs and he had little trouble moving now, but decided to sit back down to conserve energy until whatever drug he'd been under wore off more, using a tree to rest his back upon. He watched and listened as others talked of going to retrieve firewood, and contemplated joining them but was nervous about venturing out into the woods with as little experience he's had being outside like this. He thought about what the layout of the woods might look like, and after a few moments a clear image of the camp came into his head, as though he were floating above everyone looking down at them. He could even see when people moved...

As well as himself leaning against a tree...

He looked at his hands and they seemed different, as though they were made of a smoke that maintained its shape. Jonah blinked a few times in surprise before floating about the camp trying to get people's attention, but his words fell upon deaf ears, and his hands phased through their flesh. In a panic Jonah closed his eyes and focused on returning to his own body, and when he opened his eyes again he saw the same things before the ghost episode occurred.

I bet I could figure our where we are like that... If I can do that on purpose again...

"Well, this is a lively bunch..." Spike says to himself, looking around at everyone to see if there are anymore volunteers. He notices one girl, he thought ht heard her calling herself Alice, or maybe Ashley, pull the slug out of the leg of the man who kept sounding like he was trying to boss everyone around. That made him smile. "So, Arthur and Lilly, right?" He asks, turning back to the two close to him, whom he would accompany into the woods to get some firewood, "I think we should head out, I don't see anyone else volunteering, and if they change their mind it's not like we'll be going too far...right?"

For some reason he got that feeling like the last one to join their group, the thin looking guy leaning up against a tree, would like to go with them, but to be honest he looked like he might be catching a cold, and he he was still moving as slowly as before it might not be a great idea. Though he wouldn't stop him from tagging along. He wasn't a leader type, and he didn't want to be. Whenever he was in charge something bad always happened...

Once everyone else was ready Spike walked with the little group off into the woods, making sure they moved away from the baddies back at the secret hellhole, as he was calling it now. It was hard to tell where they were just from the trees, partly because in this light he couldn't tell what kind they were, and partly because he had no reference point. For his comic cooks, if he needed to draw a forest he'd look at this little field guide his father had given him, which gave detailed descriptions of all sorts of trees and told where they could be found. Wish I still had that book...and a light of some sort, He thinks to himself as he begins to gather up the occasional dead branch here or there. whenever we do get to town, the first thing I want is some blank paper and a pencil, and maybe some colored pencils as well...this would make a hell of a story....

"So...um...anyone else notice anything...strange about themselves now?" Spike asks a few moments later, trying to clear his mind so he wouldn't think about the fact that he probably missed his last chance of making it big as a comic book artist.

Hideaki looked over at the girl who walked over to him with dialated eyes, and growled at her savagely before she got to him. She brought a syringe filled with something. Poisen perhaps? He wouldn't let her. He almost reached his arm out to push her away, until she said, "You know when you want someone to do you a favour or help you, you should not lecture others." He continued growling at her like a frightened animal, but calmed down a bit, as she placed the syringe on the ground. All of a sudden her eyes turned dark-red, and the bullet shot out of his leg, which sent a jolt of pain through it. He yelled out while grasping it as she then took the bullet that was embedded in it, in her hand. Surprisingly only small trickles of blood oozed out of the wound, which should be gapping by now. The pain went away almost instantly, after she took the bullet out, and Hide got on his knees. She looked dumbfounded afterwards, as if she wasen't aware of what she was doing. He held out a fist in the air, in a punching position, while grasping his other hand on her hospital clothes so she couldn't escape. Before he could swing, the voice called out to him again. "Now now Hideaki. Theres no need to hit the poor girl. She was only trying to help. After all. Your not the only one with a voice in their head, controlling their actions. If your going to punish someone, then punish her voice. Oh wait. You can't! HAHAHAHA!" Life went back into Hideaki's eyes, as he came back into reality. He was about to punch this girl, but wasen't entirely sure why. The voice that had forced him into a state of insanity and paranoia, had just pushed him out of it with just one sentence. He let go of the girl and went back to his resting position. He was too tired to think about anything right now. "Shouldn't you apologize for almost smashing her face in? Then again, I wouldn't have. Hehehehe." There was a small silence after that sentence. Hide was trying his hardest to ignore the voice. "Hide.... Hide." A familiar voice appeared in Hideaki's head, as he once again sat up. "R-Roady?!" He looked out into space in disbelief. "Thats right Hide. Its me, Roady. We've been waiting for you. All of us. How long are you going to keep us waiting?" Roady's voice gradually escalated into the voices' as he talked. "Hehehehe. Just messing with ya. I just couldn't help it. I can access your memories, and use them against you. Seeing how you so easily fell for my trap earlier, it wouldn't too hard to drive you over the edge. That makes it all the easier to control your body later." Hideaki looked into the same direction with an irritated expression. He quickly went back to his resting position. No way in hell was he going to fall for the voices' traps ever again. He heard most of the group going to collect firewood. That was good. Less people to annoy him, while hes trying to sleep. After a while, he dozed off while hearing final words from the voice. "Sleep tight Hide. I'll need my little vessel to be well rested and healthy. Hehehehe."

Ashley snaps out of her thoughts as she notices that the man she was treating grabbed her hospital cloth and looks like he is about to punsh as only her eyes widen a bit in disbelieve.
Before she could do anything besides that the man lets go of her and looks like he is about to sleep.
The now pretty confused Ashley sighs and takes the syringe she put on the ground before, which was filled an antiseptic, and holds it over the mans leg wound.
Then she presses the liquid out of the syringe so that it does not get injected in the leg but rather drops from centimetres above the leg on the leg after the syringe is like half empty she stops doing that and stands up, putting the syringe back in her pocket.
As she does that the voice in her head comes back
My, aren't we kind today. What do you think will come of that kindness? This man was about to punch you after all.
Well we will just have to say.
Fine by me..by the way you just aknowledged my as a person by saying we^^.
Oh well...maybe I am getting shizophrenic who knows..^^.
Yeah who knows.

After the little mental conversation Ashley looks around rather bored while thinking hm....know...where could I go research everything in peace.....hm....going back to that place is not an option either....and since I do not know where we are I guess i can not go back to the hospital I worked in as well...hm...I guess I will join the little exploration team..

After saying this Ashley tries to spot Arthur which wanted to join the firewood searching team.
And after a few seconds of looking around she spots him and walks over to little group.

'Well, this is a lively bunch...' Arthur was quiet, fidgeting. 'So, Arthur and Lilly, right?' Arthur just nodded a bit. "Yes, sir." he replied. "Arthur Love Valenstone..." Arthur introduced himself for the third time. Some of the people here seemed strange to him, out of place, eccentric. 'I think we should head out, I don't see anyone else volunteering, and if they change their mind it's not like we'll be going too far...right?' The half brit nodded. "I suppose not..." he replied, quietly, smiling a bit. He felt sager in their little group - He just didn't know the others wells enough to actually be comfortable.

Arthur followed Spike into the woods, looking around at the area around him. He could occasionally see a birch, but other than that, he didn't recognize the types of trees around him. He walked somewhat slowly, hugging himself. In the back of his mind, a little hope that he would awaken from this nightmare and be able to enjoy himself in the music room remained. Perhaps he would awaken and he would be able to sing and play an Irish song while his parents and siblings danced - Like they used to since he was young.

'So...um...anyone else notice anything... strange about themselves now?'

The question caught the musician off guard. "Well..." he started. "Not really strange about myself... Or, i haven't noticed... Maybe there is something about the magnetic field around his area - Bullets don't usually behave as they did back... There... As well as the strange things that happened back there..." he started, fidgeting. The air around him was humid, and it was a kind of cold humidity - Not unpleasant, but strange. It was the kind of humidity that he used to feel often in the air of Ireland and England before and after a rain - Oh, how he loved and missed the rain...
