Introduction
The world itself is a mix of fantasy and sci-fi. The Mysticarans have a standing army, though most of their strength lies in the tribal militias, known as Tribal Forces. The Metargo, on the other hand, have a massive standing army, along with a central Air Force and Navy. The Benjlakki Repubic's military strength is distributed relatively evenly between its National Guard (militias) and main Armed Forces.
Government-wise, The Mysticaran Federation is a coalition of clans and tribes under a single banner, all represented in a massive Council, headed by a Chief Councilor. The Metargo Kingdom is a parliamentary democracy with a Prime Minister, King, Queen, and all that jazz you normally see in Europe. The Benjlakki Republic is a presidential democracy set up much like the United States, in some ways (complex judicial branch which interprets the law based on court cases, a bi-cameral Congress, and a large executive branch with a President, Vice President (the President's assistant), Cabinet (basically an advisory with multiple functions), and a whole bunch of bureaus that handle certain scenarios).
The Metargo and Mysticarans hardly ever get along due to stark contrasts in how magic and technology are used. Many Mysticarans consider the Metargo "a threat to the natural balance of our world." On the flip side, the Metargo call the Mysticarans "a reverse society who does not understand progress." The Benjlakki Republic takes a neutral stance on the dispute, even as the two other nations go to war against each other. Little did Benjlakk know that they will be drawn into war against them both, the fate of all three to be decided by the leaders and soldiers who partake in the conflict for whatever reason there is.

MILITARY UNITS AVAILABLE TO JOIN
Benjlakki Republic: 170th Mech Unit Division, Blue Eagle Company, Brown Wing Team
Leading Officer: Sergeant Zechariah Malachi (played by ZacharyTC)
Zechariah is a member of the Malachi family, whose lineage is one of military service to the Benjlakki Republic. Their fame comes from their achievements nothing short of legendary. Of course, hearing abut the horrors of war that came with the family tradition of military service, Zechariah has come to hate war and all the evils that come with it. The main reason he is a soldier-pilot is that he was drafted for the previous war between Benjlakk and Metargo. During that war, he made every effort not to kill his foes in battle. Eventually, he was able to achieve victory without kills frequently, earning himself the title, "Eagle of Mercy". Should you join Brown Team, expect him to get to know you on a first-name basis instead of using your military title.

Metargo Kingdom: 140th Mech Knights' Division, Grey Knight Company, Lion Team
Leading Officer: Sergeant Aaron Lextu (played by ZacharyTC)
Aaron, like Zechariah, comes from a legendary military lineage, the Lextus. Unlike Zechariah, though, he has embraced the family heritage with a deep fervor. His strong sense of justice (or, in this case, vengeance) drives him to excel at piloting and shooting enough to one day defeat his rival (Zechariah, that is) in a final showdown to determine who is the superior soldier. Of course, Aaron does not realize his rival never shared that mentality. Surely enough, the moment he realizes it will be the moment he starts having second thoughts on his quest to get even for the defeat he suffered at Zechariah's hands on more than one occasion. Should you join Lion team, a word of caution: he can have a bit of a temper, sometimes, especially when things do not go according to plan and/or a mission ends in failure. It is best to just let him rant and vent out his frustrations.

Princess (Sister of the Crown Prince; has a deep crush on Zechariah (she does not even know he is a Malachi)): Amaryllis Metargo (played by Thundera) (decision on inactive character: pending)
Amaryllis is kind of a black sheep of the Metargo family. She never approved of any war, preferring diplomacy and negotiation over fighting. This was actually how she accidentally met Zechariah, during a diplomatic trip to the Benjlakki region of Fertaninn, where most of Benjlakk's agricultural and solar technological research takes place. She ended up bumping into Zechariah along the way, whom was rather polite about it. From there, they had a conversation on their points of view on how foreign policy is being dealt, as well as exchanging knowledge on solar technology and agriculture. Once all that was said and done, they went on to discuss other topics, most of which were unrelated to what could happen on the political spectrum. That same private discussion was where romantic sparks began to fly between them. But, alas, they have not met in person, since, though they have, on occasion, kept in touch via the communication disks Zechariah personally crafted and tested. Little do they know, their next in-person encounter would be where they reveal to each other what they did not mention about themselves (him being a member of the prestigious Malachi family, and her the Princess of Metargo).

Grabbing him by the shoulder for a moment, Aaron shouted, "Private Scipio!"
Kyle turned around and smiled. โHey, there, Sergeant! Howโd your talk with May go?โ
โNone of your concern, Kyle! Get rid of that bottle!โ
โOkay!โ Kyle handed the vodka to the woman he was previously speaking to.
Aaron pointed to Kyleโs chest angrily. โAnd button up your shirt, for the thousandth time, already! Youโre lucky your skills keep you on the Lion Team!โ
โOkay, okay! Chill! Sheesh!โ
Once Kyle buttoned up his shirt, He and Aaron went on with escorting Alejandrina and Laevis back to the shuttle. The two men met shortly before a nuclear meltdown happened in their hometown. Neither one fully recovered emotionally from that incident, even if they would not show it.
-----
Gracchus saw the glint of mischief in Oriana's eyes as she had him look in the direction of the children who were about to hide. He restrained from laughter as long as possible while she spoke as if distressed. He found it rather hilarious that she would pull such a prank.
"I never know when they will pop out to get me Gracchus it's awful and they're just so sneaky and then... They force me to play tag and sing." She managed to make herself sound desperate which only increased the giggling she heard from the alley way.
She winked and stood up before walking over to a nearby garbage can to throw away her receipt and napkin from the pastry she'd eaten. But before she even turned around several kids rushed out of the alley and tackled her to the ground screaming, "WE GOT YOU!" Oriana acted shocked but she could not help but grin and kneel messing up a kids hair. "It appears you have you little rats." She smirked and the kids all giggled and chattered excitedly asking Oriana questions including one about the location of the mechanical arm. Oriana blinked and pointed over at Gracchus who still had the detachable limb. "I decided to take it off for awhile so I could do THIS!" She pounced on one of the kids and tickled there stomach with her nub of an arm causing them to laugh and squirm before Oriana went in for the kill blowing up her cheeks full of air and then blowing the air into the child's stomach not only causing riotous laughter but a rather interesting noise.
She scooped up the young girl and flopped her over her shoulder while standing allowing the kids to run about. "Now settle down you little rodents... Kids meet Gracchus... Gracchus meet my ambushers." The kids all stared up at Gracchus and watched him with wide eyes full of fascination of course they began shooting questions off right away, the girl Oriana had on her shoulder turned around to perch on the blue haired girls shoulder before asking, "Are big sister Ori's best friend?" This prompted Oriana to blush having had her cutesy nick name to be revealed to the world.
Gracchus waved at the children while they were talking excitedly. Of course, when he heard Oriana being called Ori and saw her blush because of it, it made him smile a bit more. "Ori, huh? That's a cute nickname." Inside, he was laughing at how Oriana and the children were having so much fun. It was amusing.
Walking up to her, still holding the mechanical arm, in one hand, the elf hugged her with the arm with had his free hand. Of course, the children let out a sound of disgust at the mushy stuff and looked the other direction. When he let go, he said to her, "There's nothing to be embarrassed about."
Every now and then she would glance back at the King and the princess just to make sure that they were following. There was no way she could lose them because if she did then her ass would be on the line because of her carelessness. Her eyes scanned the area around them as they made their way to the shuttle when she thought that she may have been walking a little too fast she slowed down slightly just so that they could catch up if it was needed.
Clarissa jumped slightly when she heard Benjamin's voice behind her. Clearing her throat to recollect herself she turned towards him and smiled gently at him. "I decided to just go for a temporary fly you know? Plus I was a little tired of just standing around like a third wheel." She walked over to him, stopping a few feet away from him. She giggled softly when he started like talking about how he didn't want to follow her because he didn't want to seem like a stalker or something. With a roll of her eyes she glanced from him to the weapons he was holding and then back to him. It wasn't until he had explained the reason that he had the weapons when she nodded to show that she understood.
"So, what is keeping you in town, since the convention is over with?" A cough escaped her lips and she thought about an excuse. "Um well," She paused then shrugged. "Between you and me I have something I need to get done before I leave." Right now she could only hope that this was all she had to say and that he didn't more of an explanation. "Would you possibly be sticking around here longer?" She asked, wondering if he was just here for business and was about to leave or if he actually lived here.
----
Saul made sure Amaryllis was with him as the two of them followed May to the shuttle. All seemed calm, yet neither he nor anyone else suspect something was up elsewhere in town. Once in the shuttle, Saul sat down next to his daughter and waited. "Aaron should be here soon with your mother and brother."
----
Benjamin shrugged. after being asked if he was sticking around. "I'll be here a while. Brown Wing Team is here for patrol, well, was here for patrol, but we're pretty much going to have some r&r, now that the patrols are done." Laughing a little, he said, "R&R is a military term for 'Rest and Relaxation'. It has been a busy day, and there is nothing going on that warrants the Benjlakki Military's attention that I know of."
----
Zechariah managed to knock out his attacker after some hard fighting. The assassin did not make it easy, at all. It is too bad all the commotion caused most people to come upstairs and gawk at it. Good thing I had my solar-powered pistols set to stun, otherwise something could have gotten killed if one of them came when it was still happening. then again, Someone could have gotten killed, anyway, since this assassin's rifle was definitely set to kill. Picking up the comm device on the man's belt, he activated it and went through the vocal messages to see one of interest.
Making sure everyone else left, he played it. What was played back sent a chill up the Eagle of Mercy's spine, for Amaryllis' sake. He was targeted because a suitor hired the assassin to kill whoever kissed the princess of Metargo! There was no telling what other extreme measures the man would take, but one thing was clear: Zechariah was not about to let Amaryllis' life be a living hell. Action had to be taken.
As such, he used a communication device he had on person for military calls, then said to Saul, "Your Majesty, this is Zechariah Malachi. An assassin hired by a Metargo noble named Carlson Hendrik made an attempt on... a soldier's life, and is now under my custody. That client of the assassin is now wanted for involvement in the black market and attempted murder."
----
Saul heard what Zechariah said via communication's device and nodded. "I understand. I shall have Sir Carlson sent over to your military headquarters, immediately."
After sending a typed message to Carlson regarding the matter, Saul spoke to amaryllis with, "Well, it looks like it may be one less man you need to worry about. I have a feeling I know why he did that, and who to, but I digress."
((Hmmm... Amaryllis' first clue that Saul actually knows what's going on between Amaryllis and Zechariah, and is secretly cheering them on, methinks.))
She nodded to her father at the mention of her family, it felt like she hadn't seen them for ages but she'd only been out a few hours well maybe a few more at the most. Her father's next sentance caught the young princess of guard and she was too quick to defend herself and counter him. "What's that meant to mean Father?" she asked with all the due respect but it was mostly shadowed by her defensive behaviour. She was silently worring though, if her father knew how would he react? Would he be angry? Would he hurt Zechariah? The thought of any of those things made her cringe and she could only hope that he'd accept if he did know or carry on blissful ignorance of the matter.
Choosing to end the conversation there she turned her defensive frown into a tight smile and innocently chimed "I wonder how Mother's day was...and Laevis." She was actually curious about how their days had been not that she could find out before they were here but it was the easiest way to divert the conversation she'd almost helped create.
Saul looked on at his daughter in confusion. Was she trying to act like he did not know? Did she not trust him? Perhaps it was due to how many Metargo still held a grudge against Zecahriah for defeating one of their finest men several times. Whatever the reason for Amaryllis' defensiveness, Saul chose not to press the matter further. He luaaghed at the thought of Alejandrina and Laevis. "I'm sure your mother is still upset about not being at the conference. You know how much she can stress herself out. It's been like that when she was pregnant with you, and after Laevis was conceived. She would always try to do more than physically allowed, health-wise. I've grown used to that, to a degree. As for Laevis, well, I can only assume he is bottling up anger at something, like he always does."
-----
Gracchus nodded when Oriana said she needed the arm and watched as it was reattached. The children just made him laugh with their enthusiastic demeanor. The elf laughed at being called 'wild boy', this time, and nodded to say he was coming. Walking next to her, he took in the detail of the city while keeping up and staying by her side.
-----
Once Zechariah was sure Carlson was arrested, he had Hanzi handcuffed and placed next to a wall before heading into the room where the distress calls were decoded. It was empty, yet the papers with the deciphered messages were on the desk. The Eagle of Mercy read them and his heart sank. People from both sides in the war have kidnapped Benjlakki civilians! We've got to rescue them! The headquarters in town nearest the street of the buildings where the hostages were held was the Naval one, so he connected to the emergency radios and made this announcement for everyone in that facility to hear:
This is Zechariah Malachi, from the 170th Mech Unit Division! Benjlakki civilians are being held captive in the abandoned buildings at Eagle Road! All available personnel are requested to assist members of the Blue Eagle Division's Brown Wing Team in rescuing them from suspected soldiers from foreign countries! We don't have much time! There is no telling how much more torture they can handle!
Once that message was made, he called for available for available Bornw Wing Team members to make their way to the coordinates he set on their radars, ordering everyone to set their weapons to stun. Zecahriah decided to head to the one on the eastern side of Eagle Road, solar-powered pistols in hand, and wait at the door for reinforcements and fellow Brown Wing Team members. As skilled he was at combat, he realized he could never handle a battle of this magnitude alone. There was no telling what surprises these organized kidnappers set.
-----
Benjamin was about to talk further when he heard Zechariah's orders for available Brown Wing Team members to head to the coordinates of either of two abandoned buildings, where civilians were being held hostage. He was torn between staying here and helping Clarissa and going to rescue the civilians. Of course, he knew one would have to take precedence over the other.
"I'll be here a while. Brown Wing Team is here for patrol, well, was here for patrol, but we're pretty much going to have some r&r, now that the patrols are done." He had said, laughing a little. She smiled then listened to what else he had to say, "R&R is a military term for 'Rest and Relaxation'. It has been a busy day, and there is nothing going on that warrants the Benjlakki Military's attention that I know of." She nodded, biting her lip for a moment. "Ah, ok then. I got it, at first I wasn't sure what you were talking about but now I got it." It wasn't until she noticed the facial expression which looked slightly torn between something after a mumbling sound on some kind of radio. "Do you need to go do something?" She asked softly. If he needed to do something then there was no sense in staying here talking to her because there was always a next time. It wasn't like she was just going to disappear forever.
"Mam, You can't go into combat!" He shouted then "I mean no offense." He added quickly.
Sandra looked over the captain and sighed. "I'm taking over this operation you need to stay here and set up patrols to go out there and make sure no one else gets kidnapped and secure the H.Q. I can handle myself." She said before entering the hover car with 3 other security officers not even giving the captain a chance to respond, she looked to the driver. "Drive!" She ordered as the Car and three hover bikes left the landing pad heading to the coordinates. She knew this was a ragtag taskforce but it would have to do.
As they drove she activated a commlink to Zechariah, "Sergeant Malachi, This is Admiral Lionel, I have a small taskforce with me and we are enroute to the location." She said.
"I'm sure she'll be pleased to hear about it all." She said with a reflective tint to her bright purple eyes. She didn't know anyone other then her father with purple eyes. Privately she cherished and loved her mysteriously coloured eyes but despite her pride she'd never brag or boast about such a thing after all She did nothing to earn them.
She could see Sectarian in the back of her mind and that familiar feeling of concern flooded back. Sectarian was a soldier and soldiers fight and fighting kills. Her wince was minimal but it warned Mary strongly to distract herself with something else, after all Zechariah was brave and experienced...he'll be fine.
She dismissed her worries as quickly as.she could before something else popped up in her bubble of thought and carefully kept a calm attitude and expression.
Meanwhile, Saul looked up to see Alejandrina. "Was everything all right, darling, other than a certain something about the conference I told you about which could have posed a problem?" Looking towards Laevis, he added, "And Laevis, how did you enjoy Justicra?"
-----
Benjamin heard what Clarissa asked, and finally made up his mind with some reluctance. "Yep, I do." Realizing he probably would not see her for a long time, he handed her a communications device and explained how to use it. "I'll keep in touch through that, okay?" Giving a smile, he ran off.
He knew from the radar that Zechariah was next to the building on the east side, so he went to the one on the western side. His squad and another from the Brown Wing Team accompanied him, soon after. Together, they went inside, storming through the first floor. It was not easy, though: sparks and flames flew every which way but loose. Only one kind of military would constantly apply such a style of combat. Mysticarans...
"Activate energy absorbers and follow me upstairs! Keep your eyes open for more spellcastors!"
With the first floor of perpetrators from Mysticara unconscious, Benjamin and the troops with him began their way upstairs. Heavy resistance was met, the spells getting tougher and tougher for the energy absorbers to handle. He could only hope it would be enough.
-----
Zechariah picked up the military commlink and said, "I'll be outside the door waiting for you, Sandra."
The Eagle of Mercy recognized the Admiral from the Battle of Southeastern Fertaninn during the previous war. He was grateful for her assistance during the battle, plus he could relate when it came to hating the parts were people killed each other. Of course, this was no time for small chatter with a friend.
One of the three squads from the Brown Wing Team arrived shortly before the armored car did. The Brown Wing Team squad with him was leaned up against the wall, ready for orders. Their weapons were set to stun, as instructed. Zechariah waited until Sandra and the officers were at the door with them before nodding and opening, going in first.
A laser blast hit him barely on the shoulder, knocking him down. He immediately got up and aimed his pistols at the shooters, knocking him unconscious. From there the gunfight began. The squad under his command stormed inside and began evading shots right and left, like Zecahriah began doing once he had his guard up to maximum. These guys are deadly. And those uniforms, they are definitely Metargo. Why would their King or Prime Minister order such a bold move, though?
Using hand signals she motioned for a stun grenade. the window was propped open just enough to lob one through. They were going to have to be quick with this and get on the roof fast or they could become pinned down. Taking a breath she pulled the pin and tossed the stun grenade through the window. Then she ran as it went off and jumped onto the roof. The roof she had expected to be deserted but there was a small hover car and a sniper team. She immediately raised her gun and took out the sniper team but then the Hovercar's small autocannon opened up and her arm was grazed as she dove for cove.
"I need a sticky charge!" She shouted but already knew the security officers possessed no such weapons. She was going to have to ponder a way through this before they were gunned down. But the other security officer was already on it. And had removed an emp grenade from his belt and tossed it at the hover cars cannon stunning it. "Rush it!" She shouted as she got up and charged for the vehicle firing at any enemy in sight as she recognized Metargo uniforms frowning. Well it appears the war found us after all.... She though glumly as they finally secured the roof. The moved to the roof access door and found it locked by a rusty looking padlock. She raised her rifle and shot the thing off before opening the door and firing down the stairs. She took return small arms fire one his her armor and she was thrust back onto the roof.
Sitting down next to him, she glanced over at him with a curious expression on her face. "So," She began, "Where did you find Kyle at?" She asked in an attempt to get him to even say something to her. She didn't want this just to be some kind of either awkward situation or boring situation where they both just sat there listening to the royal family talk amongst themselves. If it came down to that then she would just sit there if she really had to.
Clarissa sighed softly when he responded that he did in fact have something that was important that he needed to do. For some reason she was slightly disappointed that he couldn't stay longer so that they could talk. Some what she was half tempted to go find out what was going on but decided that she should just leave these humans and spell casters to their own business. It was none of her business what happened here so she might as well stay out of it.
The snowy white haired angel looked at Benjamin as he handed her a communication device and then explained how to use it. What in the world? She thought as she inspected the communication device. A soft snort escaped her lips, oh this was interesting. To people they would think that she was weird because she has only seen these things like once or twice but has only used one... well actually she couldn't remember the last time she has ever used one of these communication devices. "I'll keep in touch through that, okay?" He had given her a smile then just like that he ran off. Nodding in his direction she quickly returned her eyes to the communication device.
It was as though the entire time he had been talking about how to use the stupid device she had suddenly just tuned out. She was so lost on how to use the device that when she randomly started pressing buttons it made a loud beeping noise which startled her. "What the-" She sputtered, inspecting the device further. Finally after a while of just looking at the device all the information she really needed to know came back to her. A soft giggle escaped her lips, oh gosh she really was a piece of work some times. She searched for a spot to put the device but nothing came to mind so she just held it in her hands and started walking around without really knowing where on earth she was even going.
Amary looked at her family with a kind smile and greeted them with her typical tone of warmness. "Hello Mother, Laevis." She looked around the shuttle with a bored look in her eye as she silently wished she was back in town even with all the dramas she was likely to find there should she be in such an area.
Amary twisted a band off her wrist and hauled her mass of long black hair up onto her head twirling it into a messy but regal bun near to the side of her head, little strands of shimmering black hair escaping more often then not. She was far from pleased with her attempt but she had never been good at the girly things like hair and make-up or even putting an outfit together could come off as a challenge for her but at least she had common sense on her side most of the time.
Wondering how there day had been and if it had been as pleasant as hers she waited patiently for their reply after her Father asked them such a question not bothering to ask it for herself after all- no one likes an echo. Bright eyed but bored Amaryllis listened to the ongoing conversation only commenting or opening her mouth when necessary as to save her the embarrassment of saying something stupid or earning a disappointed look when she said something that went unapproved.
Kyle huffed while shouting through the door, "I can hear you in there, Aaron!"
Aaron gave a glare while remarking with, "Hush! Just stay on task!"
Kyle was not even going to bother continuing the discussion. It was not appropriate, would not solve a thing, and would only give something else for Aaron to use in his rants towards him. Kyle did not quite have much in the way of expertise on etiquette, yet he knew when to quit talking during conversations where nothing could be achieved, at least most of the time.
----
Gracchus took in every detail and word that was said about each site. It all seemed exciting to him. The moment Oriana pointed out the museum was the moment his interest was peaked to the max. Of course, he realized everyone must have been tired, so he said, "I think we better rest before going in." His ears suddenly caught the sounds of vehicles hovering. He was mostly clueless about foreign technology, yet he knew what military-grade hovercraft sounded like. He immediately looked skyward to see armored vehicles everywhere. There had to have been some sort of emergency, that much was clear. "I wonder what all the commotion is that is causing your country's military to behave this way?"
----
The operation under Benjamin made progress, but not without the energy absorption shields coming close to burning out. Each wave got more difficult by the level. At last, after stiff opposition and difficult traps, he and the two squads with him got to the hallway which the door to their destination was. However, lightning began flying in the room from random locations, which came close to burning out all the absorption shields. Fortunately, nobody was mortally wounded.Only one Mysticaran soldier was there to confront them, that time. Because of running out of ammunition, however, the battle had to continue in melee. Sorry, Zech, but I don't see how I can avoid a fight to the death, at this point. Those were Benjamin's thoughts before he pulled out his military knife and charged towards this last opponent in the building.
----
Zechariah and the soldiers with him had some difficulty finding cover as they advanced up the building. One of them even went up with Sandra to assist with securing the roof and managed to throw a stun grenade down the stairs to clear the way. Eventaully, Zechariah managed to get the third floor, where the most resistance was met.
Meanwhile, the person that went up with Sandra and the four security officers stood beside the Admiral and asked, "Are you alright?"
-----
Meanwhile, Zechariah and the others in the building made a little bit of progress, yet it was not enough to break the stalemate, at the moment. Those were definitely elite Metargo troops Brown Wing Team was facing. Most of the shooting and return fire missed due to constant evasion. Were this to keep up for too long, there would be casualties suffered on Brown Wing's side. There fore, Zech gave the hand signal for Lewis to use his grenade bazooka to launch stun grenades towards the enemy's known locations. Surely enough, the grenades landed where they should have, because several of those same elite Metargo troops were knocked unconscious. Hopefully, that one move would clear the way for Sandra and the rest of the people doing the rescue in that particular building, given the location one of those stun grenades landed and blew up at.
-----
Benjamin was met with a well-timed block from the Mysticaran warrior, who held a short sword in his right hand. He did not even have time to react when he was kicked away by the same Mysticaran. This opponent is tough... Ben had to think on his toes if he were to live through it all. As his first part of the plan, he let him make the move, this time. from there, it was a hard-fought melee battle, each evading or blocking the other. Finally, the hand with the Mysticaran's sword was cut off, leaving Benjamin's squad free to rescue the people that were held hostage in his current location. He only hoped Zecahriah was not having too much trouble in that other building.
Clarissa slowly walked around, wondering where in the world she was walking. She stopped, talking to some random person, and asking them where she could go for a bite to eat. Usually she didn't eat very much, but while she was waiting for Benjamin to send her something on this little communication device. A device that she had no idea how to use and would probably just end up breaking some time because she messed up when using it. That was the only she was worried about was that she would accidentally break this communication device thing.
Kyle, on the other hand, silently chuckled. He has seen Aaron at bars and other places enough times to know what was going on. Under normal circumstances, due to anger built up in him, initially at the meltdown in their hometown, he would have shouted, by that point. However, that would easily be averted whenever Aaron was around someone he had a particular liking to. Of course, Aaron would always be slow to admit it, even to himself.
-----
Benjamin knew Zechariah would be plenty angry if he were to let the Mysticaran officer he defeated die to excessive bleeding from losing the hand which held the sword. That being the only reason, aside from the fact the man was needed for an interrogation, the older of the Malachi brothers tended to the injury and stopped the bleeding by using a med kit. He remembered he gave Clarissa a comm device to communicate with and began calling her.
Once he knew the two were connected, Benjamin smiled (there was a camera installed to have people connected displayed in holograms) prior to saying, "Sorry for the abrupt leave. Some Mysticaran idiots thought they could get away with violating our neutrality when they kidnapped some of Benjlakk's citizens for knowledge on military-grade things. I'll bet Zechariah is handling Metargo soldiers in that other building we received a distress call from. Knowing Zech, he's not going to be slicing off anyone's hands, preferring fist and foot should he run out of ammo."
"This is Sandra hostages are secure." She said as she began to kneel down and untie the hostages. "It's alright it's over now." She mutted softly to a sobbing child. Sandra noticed now a body next to the girl not a combatant, who the soldiers must have shot. She picked up the child and walked down stairs. The security team had finally met up with the commandos and the building was clear. "We're gonig to need a medevac Two of my team are down." Sandra commed to Naval Command through her commlink.
"Took a bunch of shots to the limbs, but I'm fine."
"That's good to hear." Zechariah turned his attention to Sandra. "So, we once again meet up to confront Metargo soldiers? I'd say 'just like old times', but I'd rather forget those." His eyes turned sideways. "Although, I'm betting Aaron and I are going to have a 'rematch', as he would put it. The way he talks of war makes my blood boil. I just hope I do not end up killing him, if it comes down to a mech unit dogfight with him."
-----
Gracchus loved the attitude fronm Oriana, every last bit. Once it was decided to head to the museum, his eyes lit up a little. He loved it all, from the artifacts dating back countless years, to the mecha exhibits. There was one in particular which sparked more of his interest than the others, however: that of two large mech units, one that was obviously Benjlakki, the other of Metargo design. The images and dialogue told in vivid detail of the encounters between Zechariah and Aaron, legendary mech pilots from the Metargo Invasion of Fertaninn.
"Wow! Those two really had a rivalry going, huh?"
Clarissa was walking and holding the communication device close to her chest when all of a sudden Benjamin started to call her on the communication device. She sputtered, confused about what was happening as she held out the device and looked at it. "Oh my goodness," she whispered as she looked at it. Before she knew it Benjamin's face was visible on this holographic projection. Her face showed a mixture of her being both surprised and confusion about what had just happened and why she could see his face on this things when they weren't even near each other. When he apologized for leaving so fast and explained why he did so she kind of just shrugged. "Don't worry about it," she told him gently then sighed softly. "Is everyone okay though? No one was hurt?" She asked curiously.
Slowly her hands moved slightly, tipping the communication device to the side slightly before she repositioned it so it wasn't tipped over any more. "I'm sorry, but who is Zechariah again?" asked Clarissa. Right now between him talking and what this communication device was doing she was absolutely lost in what was going on. Her confusion was obvious, and she didn't know what to say because there he was doing all this action stuff while she was just well walking around doing pretty much nothing useful.
Catrina hated how even though her gun was just set to stun that she had possibly stunned someone with it. She muttered several apologize under her breath about how she was sorry for stunning them and hoped that they would be okay. Slowly she lifted her head, stopping her apologize as soon as she neared Zechariah. Her eyes went from him to Sandra whom he was talking to about something that she wasn't quite sure about. Nibbling on her bottom lip she stood near Zechariah as he talked to Sandra and while she looked around. At the moment she wasn't quite sure what to do, but she was sure he would give her something to do soon.
