They are also known to go to huge parties and drink like crazy before hooking up with a cheerleader. Big pigs. They also seem to have a thing for getting in fights. But when they get in trouble there father who also went to that school and played football gets his child out of trouble so they can still be a star athlete. A few of them are in a long term relationship with their cheerleader girlfriend and they are the couple that everyone envies.

Cheerleaders

They are girls always girls unless you’re a guy on the cheerleading team then the girls will except you but also think that you are gay and you will probably get teased a lot by the jocks. The girl cheerleaders are normally popular unless you’re fat or ugly. The girls are never poor there either middle class or rich. They look down at everyone that is not as cool as them and they pretend to be friends with the preps even though they can't stand them. They along with the Jocks are known to go to parties and get drunk and hook up with jocks. Also cheerleaders normally wear cute stylish clothes on normal days and on football game days they were there cheerleading uniform to support the guys. They are also known to have short relationships with the jocks and preps but few have long term relationships.

They Look Like: Leven Rambin, kendall jenner, Nina Dobrev

They are known for being extremely snobby to other students flaunting their money. When around adults they have perfect manners. They are friends with the Jocks and Cheerleaders but are only friends with the. For the parties and they know that the jocks and cheerleaders are only friends with them for their money. They are considered popular but just about everyone in school wants to be them but also hates them. They also seem to get special treatment from the teachers because there 'mommies' and 'daddies' pay for ere special treatment. They also never get into trouble.
What They Look Like: Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Dianna Agron

Goths and Emos

Everyone thinks they cut themselves and no one every talks to them because they think they'll put a curse on them. They normally have black hair and wear dark clothes. They hang out in a group in the parking lot during lunch because no one goes out there but they bring umbrellas with claiming the light will hurt them. They also started a whole bunch of their own club but no one knows what they are about because no one will ever talk to them. They talk about stuff like how the world is horrible yet beautiful and how misunderstood they are. But honestly aren't bad people they just send a strange vibe that scares everyone off. They also tend to crash the jocks parties just for the fun of it.
What they look like: Taylor Momsen, amy lee, dita von teese

Hippies/ Free Spirts

They normally are not actual hippies but they parents and grandparents are. They wear boho style clothes, they are seen wearing vintage looking clothes too. People gossip that their favorite hobby is getting high which is true for some of them but not all of them. They are friends with just the normals at the school and sometimes hang out with them but not all the time. The jock, and cheerleaders sometimes talk to them, but e preps think they are insane. They are also really fun to party with, so there invited to the jocks and cheerleaders parties.

What They Look Like: Taylor Swift, Niall Horan, Isabelle Fuhrman

Wallflowers

In social situations, a wallflower is a shy or unpopular individual who doesn't socialize or participate in activities at social events. He or she may have other talents but usually does not express them in the presence of other individuals.

That's the textbook definition or a wallflower. There's more to them though. They are normal referred to as loners. They are lots of different types of people they are bold, they are smart, but they all have one thing in common they are different and are shunned for it. So they live there life watching from the sidelines. Some of them don't mind it some of them do.
What they look like: Emma Watson, Logan Leerman, Lucy Hale

Plotline

This roleplay is really plot less for right now. It is really just a stereotypical high school and you are allowed to create your own plot for your own character. But keep in mind thus roleplay is really based around school cliques. So popular, lame, ect. Try to act like it too, if you’re popular then you’re not going to hang out with wallflowers and vice versa. So that's all I've got for a plot but your own character can have their own plot to them. You also ,ay want to PM certain characters before the roleplay see if they want to be like ex best friends or something with your character, it will defiantly give you more to write about then.

Characters

Right away I will be excepting 5 boys and 5 girls which may be reserved. Once I get the 5 girls and 5 boys in I will accept more characters boy or girl. But I must have the original 10 characters in first. Reservations last 48 hours too.
Also every character will either be in one of those groups or a new student there is no she/he is in no group because it doesn't work like that.
Also under the group there in is the suggestions for what they look like. You don't have to use that face claim, you can choose other ones or choose someone that is not famous at all. Just make sure you have pictures of it.
For reservations say that you want a boy or girl what clique there in the Jocks, Wallflowers, ect. Then write if you'll be using one of my suggested FC claims so we don't get multiple people using the same face claim. Oh and please use the word please in your reservations, it's polite. :D

Other

You can call me youloveme? You can call me anything that can be used to shorten my name or you can call me my real names nickname which is Ash. Which everyone you choose, but just make sure that when you want to talk to me in the OCC you address me with one of those so I know your speaking to me.

Oh and make sure you read the rules there really quite important.

Toggle Rules

Rules

Note: I really am truly sorry for the longness of these but they are important so you must read them. There is more than you would expect on there.

1 Right away I am accepting 5 boys and5 girls in which ever group you choose to make them in, then after that I will accept either gender but I wanted to make sure we had equal genders to start with.
2 You may reserve one of the 10 original characters I'm accepting and reservations last 24 hours, are there all submitted you do not need to reserve anymore because I will be accepting unlimited characters.
3 If you want to reserve one of the original 10 you may reserve just a girl, just a guy, a girl and a guy, or a guy and a guy. And the reason that I say that is because roleplays usually lack guys and I don't want that to happen here.
4 You definitely want to read everything especially the Character part because it tells you how to reserve. Also the reservation password is your favorite type of ice cream, mine is Cookie Dough. :D
5 When making the character you are to use the character sheet but you may mix it up and make it prettier to your liking. But remember that the better written and long it is, the more likely I am to accept it.
6 This roleplay it literate/ semi-literate to I do expect good sized posts. I'm putting a word limit on it too, you must have at least 300 words per post no less but I will except more. If you do not meet the requirements then I will send you a PM either saying to add more to your last post or to make your ect post longer.
7 I'm also happy to see you long post writers, and if we have lots of those in this roleplay then I expect people that barely write 300 words to make their posts long to match the longer post writers. So be prepared for that.
8 In your posts I want your character name in big writing at the top. Is that clear? Oh and part UNO of the character sheet password is Wallflowers
9 As for your posts I want every detail of your characters life from how there feeling to what they see in every detail, I want to feel like your character when reading it.
10 I'm actually snagging 2 female and a male for this roleplay but I’m only taking a female and a male right away. I just thought I should clarify that in the rule right now just so you guys know. The second part of the character sheet password is: Shall
11 In the OCC there will be no fighting or any of that such but I do want you to keep the OCC active with little chats on the characters and such.
12 I will have a character relation thread up are we get 3 characters submitted and as more characters join you will be reminded to add on to that. I find writing those so interesting too. :D
13 There will be unlimited joining after the ten are accepted and there is never a point in time when you can't join I will just keep accepting characters.
14 Also follow the general rules, my word is law, keep it PG-13, Moderate Swearing, No god moods, ect.
15 My last rule in my book is the most important and it is: HAVE FUN :D I created this roleplay to have fun and I want you all to have fun too. And the last part of the character sheet password is: Unite.

"We live in a world full of wonderful, magnificent things, some bigger than the whole world, universe combined because they evolved over a myriad number of years. The world is also full of hatred, hatred that can only be made from a myriad number if years. So I you took a jar and put bright yellow sand at the bottom and dull gray at the top and leave it there, long enough for you to forget its meaning then you look at let's say 100 years from now, which sand do you stare at? Which on catches your eye? Or would you look at the median? Well April would have stared at the median, where the sands meet and they become entwined, specks of both sands together as unity. Then she would glance away because she was not the type of person to ponder on the past, she lived in the present, she has no future, she lived her little forever. I'll never forget her."
Violet closed her book then sneaked a look at the clock hanging from her wall, she had an old fashioned one she didn't own an alarm clock. It was 3 am and she had spent the whole night finishing that book. "Ohh," said Violet realizing she would be a zombie the next day. She set the book called "What The Emptiness IsTelling Me " by some author she had never come across before.
The book was about a girl, Lara, and she has a best friend April. April went missing when they where 15. Lara searched for her, police searched for her, it seemed as though everyone was searching for the one person, April. Well eventually like every unresolved missing case, they police quiet searching, like somehow April was unimportant which was thought by Lara. So for 10 years Lara refuses to give up on April, she continues to spread her days searching, never really growing up or falling in love because she's so focused on what has happened. Then one day they find April, 10 goddamned y ears later, dead. It's then that Lara realizes that she'll never forget April but she has to let go.

Then Violet fell asleep. She dreamt of she was in the middle of the desert smoking a cigarette then for some reason she just drops it aflame and all. The desert begins to road up into flames. All around her flames flicker and she just talks a seat un the hot sand as the flames eat her up.

Violet jolted up the the sound of her mother knocking on the door, Violets voice mumbled, "Im awake, possibly." Then she fell back into bed.

After awhile she finally arose. She striped out of her clothes then rinsed herself in the shower. Violets thoughts roared to life most because, what else was she to do? Showering honestly took no effort. Then she remembered something a teacher said in just her young years, maybe second grade. He said: "You think best while laying in bed or taking bath." She didn't remember why, but it had now just stricken Violet that maybe he was a perv.
Violet finished her shower and clothed herself in some jeggings which are just very tight skinny jeans because they where made out of legging material but resembled jeans. 'Like me,". Violet thought. Then she slipped into a baby blue blouse with a Peter Pan collar. "Hmm.." she hummed. Then she slipped on a golden bracelet that was twin golden chains twisted around each other. Then also plopped a pair of diamond stud earrings into her ears.

Next was make up and hair, she thought that it was unfair and sexist that girls where expected to have to spend forever on there hair and make up to be consists red pretty by others while guys didn't. So she just attempted with the result of failing to detangle her messy mess some may refer to as hair. So taking an elastic form her messy bathroom counter she swooped her hair in the pony tailing in one swift moment. Then instead of spending 3 hours on make up she just pinched her cheeks and smiled a goofy smile. "Eh who cares?" She asked her mirror as if it would answer.

Before leaving her room she packed up her a enrage durable school. Ad with the essentials, her Biology book which she cared nothing about, her Trig book, some paintings from her art class, and then a stack of books.
She placed each book in her bag, which she would book the books in her Locke once she got to school. The books?
- The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath
- The Catcher in the Rye by Jerome David Salinger
- It's Kind Of A Funny Story by Ned Vizzini
- The Blood Of The Lamb by Peter De Vries
- Every Day by David Levithan
- Infinite Jest by David Foster(Which has over 1000 pages)

Then she zips up her backpack which let me tell you it wasn't even kinda easy. Then Violet quickly looks at herself in the mirror even though its so covered in clippings of pictures from Vogue magazine because they have cool pictures in there, she couldn't even see her face.

Then Violet grabbed her bag and raced down stairs. Her mom was reading this medical school book since she was going back to college to become the type of persons handles ex rays. "How's the book?" Asked Violet. "Interminable." Said her mom with a sigh. "I just really want to be done with schooling."
"Well that's nice too bad schooling is inevitable," replied Violet. Her mother stared off into space but nodded anyways.

"So thought of the day?" questioned Violet. Ever since they moved to Califorina her mother started doing a though of the day. Just any thought.
"'Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.' Said who?" questioned her mother?
Violet rolled her eyed remembering Remember Me the movie, the movie that her mother was in love with. "Gandhi."
"Means?" Her mother shot out another question.
" My first thought is that it means that even if the insignificantness of what we do might want to hold us because well it won't matter if 5 minutes to a hundred years we must do it it anyways because if it everyone does it won't it make it significant?" Her mother just nodded so Violet continued, "But if you want me to wane it down a bit so that it is more of a smaller effect then I also think that it means that on life we all have a role and yes they will Be insignificant on the grand scene of things but that does not mean that we neglect our duties as humans because we feel it will now matter." Violet had drained herself of every idea on the topic and was now sick of talking about it. She had to quickly add though, "That would all be true but I don't believe in quotes." Her mother rolled her eyes then referred to Violet as intelligent. "You don't say!" Violet commented on the intelligent comment. Even before she could roll her eyes at her she ran out the door bag in tow. She ran to her Jeep Wrangler Sahara from 1980. 33 years old her car car was. It was a bit of a boy car, well at least in the cheerleaders option, but honestly Violet loved it. The top was on today though, do the the fact that she didn't want to freeze her ass off.
The thing about Violet is wherever in her personal space whether it be her locker, her room, and even her car are covered in books. She had books piled in the back seat and in the shotgun seat she has about 10 books piled there all of them she had read except '13 Reasons Why' by Jay Asher (I'm not sure if that is the right author I just said his name my memory)' Violet picked it up whole driving and set it on her lap, telling herself that she would read it.

Finally she arrived at school, it was actually really early, 7:30 early but the school doors where open. Once inside Violet made her way to the library where she sat down to start her book.

Jakes house was three doors down from the only coffee shop in this little town. S every morning people trying to get coffee before work go past his white picket fence house, with a small little rose garden in the front of his house grown by his sister Natasha.
Inside was a sleeping young male boy named Jacob. He was sprawled across his bed limbs lying is all different directions. He awoke by his iPhone blaring some random loud ass song that he didn't know, mostly because his shut is alarm off before he could listen to any of it. Ten he looked at the time seven forty five which is fifteen minutes before school would start, but he strolls in late most days so it does not really matter.
Jake rolled around onto his back, groaned and stared up at the ceiling. He stared at the ceiling util his fell into a semi sleep for the next five minutes, though it felt like five seconds.

After a fight with himself about doing what's right and getting up or doing what he wants to do and sleep, plus a few knocks on his door from his mother Jake reluctantly got up and stumbled into the bathroom. He looked at his messy locks of hair and then just ran his hand through it. After that he just brushed his teeth. Jake then preceded to head back to his room.
Jakes locker pretty much consisted of just plain tee shirts and faded jeans. That was exactly what he wore today too, a navy blue short sleeved tee and a pair of faded jeans. He's style was nothing special, he really doesn't give a damn.
It took about 3 minutes total for him to get ready then he grabbed his faded moss green JansPort backpack that he had since he was in the sixth grade, and headed down stairs.

His sister Natasha was waiting for him to take her to school in his car. But first he got a piece of toast and put a fair amount of butter on it. He slowly began to it, which made his sister give him a pissed look. For which he held his hands up in serenader.
He quickly kissed his mother on the check and mumbled, "Bye," in her ear and walked out the door behind Natasha.

Jake entered his Ford truck that was made in the sixties and had more rust then is normal. The truck was a fire truck red. He slid into the drivers seat and Natasha slid into the passenger seat. The first thing she did when she enters the car was blare this pop bull shit that was probably sung by some candy colored hair girl who was as dumb as rock. He just rolled his eyes as she sang along. Which for the rest of ride Jake could have been happy beating his head against the window.

After a while they finally pulled into the parking lot of the high school. Natasha waved and jumped out of the car without really saying anything to him. "Bye to you too," mumbles Jake as he also got out of the car and started walking towards the school.

His locker was only about 3 down from the entrance of the school which really was quiet convenient. His locker was also a crimson red color, nothing really that appealing to look at. But once you opened his locker, you would see a big jumbo of things, nothing in ral order because Jake really has no means of organization.
He quickly grabbed just about every book in his locker and stuffed it into her bag which he was one strapping. He also navigated several pens and pencils from his locker and just dropped them loosely into the big pocket of his bags with his books.
After getting his bag ready he proceed to close his locker and just lean up against it will looking at his phone but not texting. It was in cool guy in a movie pose, which he did realize was lame so he got up and stood up straight.

The mansion was still cold. Not physically. The temperature was kept at a pleasant 72 degrees Fahrenheit, but it was cold all the same. The mansion had just been finished being built a few months ago. It was a symbol of wealth and influence, a house of someone who was self-conscious about his image and despite their wealth, was still seeking to prove himself better than the working class status which he had been born into by marrying a woman whose family was "old money" and still debated the merits of changing the family's surname to something less Irish-sounding.

That was Stephen's father. He was always striving for the money and status that he had sought since he was a young man, even as most people envied him for his wealth, success, and the fact that he married a pretty young heiress half his age. The house felt spiritually dead to Stephen, despite his mother's attempts at livening it up with the latest fads back in New York before deciding she'd much rather imitate the styles in California. His (adopted) brother was still in New York, being his dad's physical representative on Wall Street while his father ran things on the computer and tried to ingratiate himself with his mother's relatives.

At dawn, his alarm rang with the Adhan and he woke up before deciding to perform the salah this morning. Afterwards, he meditated on the different chakras coursing through his body and reminded himself how best to prevent them from being blocked before taking a shower and dressing. He chose one of his favorite outfits. It was sort of a dark version of a Buddhist robe with prayer beads around his neck and dark pants. Of course, he decided to wear a black T-shirt under it, ruining a little of the effect, but he wasn't sure how strict the school was with dress code and he decided it'd be best he didn't present his bare chest, Freedom of Religion/Expression or not.

Breakfast was a quiet affair. Don't get him wrong, his dad and his mom were there along with a few servants that he never grew used to, no matter the fact he grew up with them around. There was a lot of food, but simply chose a bowl of rice and vegetables along with an orange and some tea. His father looked at him over his steak and eggs in disapproval, but at least tried to give him a pleasant smile and make small talk this morning.

"This is one of the best high schools in the country and I hear it has a lot of your type. You'll fit in fine," he stated gruffly.

"Yeah, Dad. Thanks. I'm sure we moved here for a reason. I'm sorry for losing my temper earlier."

"It's fine. It's good you have a temper," his father grunted and that was that. It was the most civil conversation they had had in months, but issues bubbled just beneath the surface. Stephen wanted to ask him how long he would try to be something that he should never try to be. He wanted to ask if he bought some new cocaine since Stephen threw away the last batch. Instead, he finished eating and got up and kissed his mom on the cheek. She looked up from her cellphone and smiled at him.

"Bye, honey. Have fun at school. You should take the chauffeur. There's nothing like showing up on your first day of school in a limo."

"Yeah... Sure, Mom. Tell Mrs. Hamilton I've kept her in my prayers and meditations. Have fun at the spa."

"Oh, she thinks your phase is just darling!"

Stephen smiled at her one last time and left. He had no intention of taking the limousine. Instead, he slipped the driver a 20 to say he did today and grabbed his lunch. He had to walk about a half mile before he found a bus stop and took one to school. It was about 7:30 when he arrived, drawing stares from many of the students. He had meditated on the bus ride here and it had raised his spirits. He drew a strange picture, dressed like a monk, an old backpack emblazoned with Our Lady of Guadalupe on the back his grandmother over his shoulder, his school books along with a copy of the Bhagavad Gita among his school books. He ignored the stares and entered the building.

Yet another day of either hell or opportunity in the public school system, Ian noted. His alarm was blaring with Japanese rock and after a moment of laying in bed, he turned it off. He hated the clique system and his only solace was that the government hadn't gotten involved in it yet to make it even worse. He ran into the shower and thought about the people at school with a sigh. Would he try to talk to Mikaela today? He remembered her from elementary school. They were inseparable then until they slowly grew apart. Now, she was popular and he was decidedly not. He used to have fantasies that she's realize popular guys were jerks and would talk to him again, but then, he heard she was bi and that popped the bubble. Between him and one of the girls at school, he'd choose one of the girls himself. It was a uniquely nerdy experience that an image could be hot and at the same time make him hate himself more.

He finished showering and dressed himself neatly in a pair of jeans, shocks, and a t-shirt. He was going to go for a casual look today. He heard his mom shouting for him to come down for breakfast and he hurried down, telling himself over and over again that things would be great today. In anime, it was a nerd like him that was suddenly thrown into something exciting and life-changing, right? His mom had cooked pancakes, bacon, and eggs and he wolfed it down. It was a miracle his mom could cook like this and have time to work. Unlike most teenagers, he was closer to his parents. His dad didn't pressure him into being a doctor and he could tell his mom almost everything. When he was done, he hugged her.

"See ya, mom," he murmured.

"Have a good day, love. Call us if you're going to spend time with your friends today," she told him. He smiled slightly. His mom had more faith in his social skills than he did. He nodded and walked out the front door and slid into his car. It was an old Dodge model, but well-taken care of. He was there early and managed to get a good parking spot. He spotted a familiar face.

"Is that... Jacob?" he asked someone, eying the guy in the monk get-up. They shook their head.

"No, man. I just saw Jacob arrive right before him. It's weird. They're like twins or something."

"The odds... Are astronomical."

Mikaela laid still asleep in her bed with her blankets wrapped around her body incasing her in a cocoon of warmth. The sound of tiny feet running through the halls followed by small barking could be heard throughout the mansion. As her bedroom door was swung open all Mikaela could here was the sound of her little sister Isabella. "Kale! Kale! Kale! Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP!", the little girl yelled as she pulled herself up onto Mikaela's bed and started jumping up and down. Mikaela groaned and mumbled as she slowly opened her eyes to see her sister enjoying herself as she bounced up and down on her bed. "Izzy!" she said pulling herself up in her bed "Parada con el remote. I'm up." Saying the last two words with a yawn Isabella obeyed her older sister flopping down on the bed which made Mikaela laugh.

At the side of her bed Stelena was still barking as she leaped up and down on her hind legs not big enough to be able to jump up. Unwrapping herself she swung her legs over the side of her bed and bent down to pick up her dog. Placing the pomeranian on her bed with her sister Mikaela got up out of bed and walked over to her to the vanity that was in her room. Looking at her reflection she sighed "God I look terribly in the morning" she said thinking aloud as the sound of small giggles could be heard in the background.

Turning to her sister who was in the middle of rubbing Stelena belly Mikaela asked "Where are mom and dad?". Still petting the dog Isabella looked at her sister and shrugged her shoulders "There not home." Mikaela figured they either worked late and hadn't made home yet or they had left early. Her parents both worked in the medical field which met working long hours and besides that they owned multiple private clinics all over California which meant they always had some work that needed to be done. That enough left Mikaela, Isabella and the house of servants to themselves. As a child Mikaela figured probably one of the reasons she was so awful was being she was acting out to get their attention. While she had come to terms with her parents absent and tried her best not to hold it against them she wanted to make sure Isabella never felt the same way she felt when she will little. Which was why she did her best to give the little girl all the attention she needed and deserved.

"I love your outfit today! Did you pick it out yourself?" Mikaela said as she walked to the other side of the room where her closet was located. Sliding open the door she walked inside and started searching around for an outfit to wear to school. "Yeah! I picked it out and Mrs. Garcia dressed me." Isabella said as she too walked into the closet with the dog at her side. Mikaela's closet was gigantic and while she wasn't that organized when it came to most things when it came to closet it always had to look perfect. Of course because of how many outfits she tried on just to find the right one whenever she left her room in the morning her closet was a mess but by the time she got home everything was always back in it's place thanks to the wonderful workers that she couldn't be anymore thankful for.

"What do you think about this?" she asked Isabella showing her a red valentino dress. The little girl shook her head "Isn't that a little much just for school?" the girl asked making Mikaela giggle as she placed the dress back. "Alright so what are we doing for breakfast?" she said knowing the young girl hadn't eaten yet as she always waited for her sister to eat breakfast. Isabella shrugged "Whatcha making?" Mikaela looked at her sister "I'm not making anything. As long as it takes me to get ready you know I won't have time to do that." She could hear her sister sighed but ignored it as she took down a pair of jeans with rips in them. "Eggs," Isabella said following behind her sister as she walked over to her tops section of her closet "Sunny side up, scrabbled, over easy .." Isabella thought about for a moment "Pouched" the girl said watching Mikaela decide on a top.

"I'll let the kitchen know what were eating. Since your already dressed you can walk Stelena." Isabella smiled "Come on Stelena!" the girl said running out of the closet with the dog yapping at her heels. It took Mikaela about twenty minutes to finish picking out the rest of her outfit accessories and all. Placing her clothes on her bed she walked over to the intercom system that was on the wall by the door, pressing the button for the kitchen she spoke "Morning guys! Today for breakfast were going with poached eggs. With bacon .... make it canadian and let's go with some toasted english muffins and don't forget the hollandaise sauce." Turning away for a moment as she quickly turned back around "Oh, and to drink orange juice for Izzy and let me get a strawberry and banana smoothie," pausing for a moment she thought if there was something she was forgetting "thank you" she added lastly.

Between showering, doing her hair, makeup and finally gathering up all her things for school it took her a little over an hour to be done and ready for school. Glancing at the alarm clock on her end table it read 6:49 am which for her was good timing. As she exited her room the house maids entered, she greeted them as she walked by and headed down the spiral marble staircase. Walking into the dining room Isabella was sitting at the table coloring and off to the side of the room Stelena was eating her gourmet dog food. The table was in the middle of being set when Mikaela entered, turning to one of the family's servants she said "Do me a favor and bring my car around we're gonna need to get going as soon as we're done eating. Also can you get me my laptop I left it upstairs." the man who's name she couldn't recall at the moment nodded "Yes Ms.Chandler."

Taking a seat next to her sister the man returned moments later with her laptop in his hands. Placing it down in front of her she smiled "Thank you" she said as she opened and turned on her luvaglio laptop. She multitasked as she ate, drank, checked and updated all of her social profiles. Once both her and Isabella was done the workers started doing their job of clearing the table as the sisters left their home goodbye after saying to Stelena and those they passed on their way out the door. Isabella ran over to Mikaela's blue bmw m6 convertible and got into the backseat. Getting into her car Mikaela placed her bag on in the passenger seat next to her and started adjusting her mirrors "Izzy do you have your seatbelt on?" she asked putting on her own as a means of setting a good example. "Yes Kale" Isabella said as the sound her seatbelt clicked, "Top down!" she shouted excitedly. Mikaela laughed "As you wish" she said pressing the button that made the car roof go down. Turning on the radio Mikaela drove pass the gates that closed off her home to the outside world and made her way to Isabella's school.

From Isabella's school to the high school was about a twenty minute drive and as she got to the student parking lot she parked in her usual spot. Getting out of the car she found three of her fellow squad members awaiting her arrival. Checking her phone as she walked over to them she saw that it was 7:51 am which meant she wasn't late. "Hey girls!" she said as they began to all greeted and hug each other. "Has Paige gotten here yet?" she asked as they shook their heads "Are we waiting for her?" Mikaela thought about for a moment "No I guess we can go. Well just save her a seat in class," she said as she lead the way through the doors and into the school.

It's hardly the crack of dawn, but a young woman is walking up the beach, sand sticking to wet toes, with a surfboard held in her right arm and a towel wrapped around her left. From the wet look of her hair and the bathing suit she's wearing, one may draw the conclusion that she has just come out of the ocean. The sun still hangs dangerously low in the sky, barely giving off enough light for her to see completely, but she hadn't needed too much light to surf. She can feel the water and hear the waves, and that's all the girl needs, having basically grown up on the beach for the entirety of her life. It helps that her house is near the ocean, only a block or two away, and that her mother owns a snack stand on the boardwalk, giving her a place to drop her stuff and such. And there, nestled behind a crate of napkins, her stuff sits: just a little backpack with a water bottle in it, and a longboard propped next to it. There are no shoes waiting for Indigo, and none on her feet. She prefers to go bare foot when possible, because shoes have such a pinching and ultimately disconnected feeling. They just make her feel constrained, so even when she does wear shoes, the girl generally sticks to flip flops and sandals.

Of course, skating, walking, and running barefoot has created callouses on her feet, but the girl doesn't mind. She's never been the sort to worry about things like rough skin or having perfect hair- in fact, the idea of those things being important bewilders her slightly. All the same, she observes the trait in others and attempts to reserve any judgments on the matter, knowing that differences in priorities are to be expected among all people. After all, she doesn't really share her younger brother's obsession with books on space and the stars, but still appreciates that he loves them, and loves to see him talk -well, sign- about them. Indigo has always loved to see passion in others, and is the sort who has no problem whatsoever stopping to listen to a person rant about something, as long as their rant holds some sincerity to it. Insincerity is something she isn't quite as fond of, to the point where she rarely partakes in the American custom of sarcasm.

The girl hangs her towel from her neck and picks up the longboard, leaving the surfboard their instead, as though making some sort of trade from sea to land. The small bag is slung over one shoulder, though it is unnecessary, and she exits the small shop, walking barefoot on the worn wood of the boardwalk until she reaches warm cement. One of the few things she appreciates about cities and suburbia is sidewalks: the feel of warm cement against her bare feet is one of her little joys, to be honest. She feels it only briefly, however, before dropping the board back onto the cement and stepping on, propelling herself forward with a sweeping push of her feet. The sidewalk here is bumpy, so she takes advantage of the empty roads to roll onto the street, which is smooth and makes for an easy ride. The sun continues to rise, allowing Indigo a full appreciation for the morning's beauty. The breeze is still warm, showered with the goodbye kisses of summer, and there is something about the enveloping warmth of the air that makes her feel as though she is simply melting into the sky, about to disappear at any second to become entirely one with the air. Such thoughts provide her with an out of body experience that produces goosebumps down her arms, though it isn't unpleasant.

The trip is far too brief before Indigo reaches her house, and in order to compensate for this, she makes the trip unnecessarily long, winding around extra neighborhoods and such, before ultimately ending up at her own front door. Her door is led up to by a small slope rather than the typical stairs, this being in order to make things easier for her mother. Likewise, the door is wider than most are. All of her house is set up in such a manner: more space in the hallways and between various appliances. It is one story, of course, and Indigo positively adores it, despite the lizards that always scurry across the fence in the backyard and the fact that their neighbors are smokers with little regard for how far the smoke reaches. This is where she has grown up, after all, and it is therefore only natural that she should adore it, for she is not the sort to resent her current place in the world or constantly struggle to be different. Rather, she prefers to be where she is, because there isn't anything wrong with it, that she can see.

"Morning, Sunshine," Indigo is greeted presently by her father, who is already awake and eating breakfast at the kitchen counter. The girl smiles at her father and leans her board against the wall. She brushes her feet against the mat in the entrance and then walks over to where he is, stealing one of his pieces of toast and giving him a hug before continuing on to her room, which is towards the back of the house. Her bedroom is somewhat messy, decorated with various posters of surfers, skaters, and some of her favorite TV shows. She has always had free reign over her room, and though it is messy, it has never been really dirty. An analog clock hanging above her bed tells her that there is a while before she needs to go to school, giving her time to finish the piece of toast that she has eaten and then hop into the shower, where she can wash off any lingering sand and ocean water. However, no matter how thoroughly she cleans, the girl always seems to smell vaguely of sea salt. She, of course, doesn't notice this scent anymore, but others have remarked on it before.

After showering, Indigo dries her hair haphazardly and dresses. She doesn't really have a strong sense of fashion, generally wearing whatever she feels comfortable in or catches her fancy at the moment. Today, this is a simply a pair of light denim shorts with a loose white shirt that no design on it. She tucks the shirt in just a bit, because it is rather long, but otherwise is finished getting ready: it's never a particularly complex process for her, after all. Dressed, she hurries down the hallway to find her father gone, but her brother and mother now in the kitchen sharing breakfast. Her mother looks up and waves, greeting her whilst also notifying her brother that Indigo is in the room. Her little brother turns around and signs good morning before returning to his food, still drowsy. Indigo just smiles before making herself a cup of hot tea. While the water boils, she brushes her teeth and hair, although the latter is perhaps not done thoroughly enough, and is back in time to grab a thermos and pour her tea in- she'll drink it during first period.

Ready to go, the young woman grabs her skateboard and is about to head out the door when her mother shouts after her. "Don't forget your shoes!" she reminds the girl, who has to turn back around and grab a pair of sandals, which go in her bag rather than on her feet. She'll put them on when she gets there. Finally, she leaves the house, travelling a relatively short distance before ultimately reaching the school. Kids file in slowly, some walkers and others coming out of the bright yellow buses that are a universal sign for noise pollution. Indigo weaves through the crowd, able to simply skate directly into the school because her locker is relatively close to the front of it. She puts her foot down and comes to a halt just in front of her own locker, stepping on the edge of the board so that it pops up for her to grab and stash away into her locker. The young woman glances over and notices Jacob, a fellow surfer, looking at his phone a few lockers down.

"Mornin'," she greets him, simultaneously pulling on her sandals so that she complies with school dress code, which instructs students to wear their shoes inside the school at all times.

Before class, Stephen decided to explore the library. It was relatively large and it had a lot of books. He was currently reading something, but he was grateful that there was a good selection of books here. He browsed the section on religion, but found nothing that he had not already read. With a shrug, he decided to take a seat and read. Class hadn't started just yet and he decided he could get a page or two of the Bhagavad Gita and looked for somewhere to sit. There was hardly anyone here, but he saw one girl reading a book. He decided to take a seat in front of her. He opened his book and spoke.

"Hey. I'm Stephen. Peace and blessings be upon you this day."

He looked at her curiously. Her clothes looked well-made, but it didn't look like she used that many products on her hair, which he didn't mind to be honest as it looked more natural that way. He opened up his book and read through it aloud.

β€œIt is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection,” he paused for a moment, contemplating it, "But how do you live your destiny perfectly? Is there such a thing as "perfect"?"

Ian walked through the hall. As he did, he noticed everyone talking, either about who was dating who, which teachers they liked and which were total jerks, about the new kid, and other miscellaneous talk. As he was walking, he noticed a group of cheerleaders, Mikaela among them. He felt a torrent of emotions flare up in his stomach, as they always did when he saw her. A mixture of hurt, affection, longing, and, yes, anger. He tried to wave at her, but he felt himself trip. He groaned as he fell on his face.

"Careful where you step, honey," one of the cheerleaders said sweetly. This wasn't a nice one like Mikaela and Paige. It was barbie clone with a sweet smile and cruel eyes, like she was grown in a government laboratory somewhere. He knew she saw what he was doing and she responded in what she deemed an appropriate manner. He fidgeted with his glassed. One lens was cracked, great.

"Right, of course," he said bitterly and a little sarcastically as he headed for his locker, which was next to Jacob Thompson'. He glanced at Mikaela, wondering if she noticed or cared. Then, he turned to Jacob and another girl, Indigo Green, he remembered.

"There's a new kid at school," he told Jacob, trying to get attention off himself, "He looks just like you, but dresses weird."

Mikaela walked down the halls with her girls following behind her as if they were her own shadow. "I need to hit up my locker before we go to class because I do not feel like lugging my bag around all day" Mikaela said over the voices of hallway chatter going on. When she looked at it she found it weird how high school was diverse and yet completely segregated. Within the school there were all these different people who all looked, acted, and talked differently and had separate interest. Yet they all made the decision to stay with those who in a way was like themselves. She figured it was just a comfort zone sort of thing, people just felt more comfortable being themselves with people who were like them.

As she strolled down the hall she noticed Ian walking in the opposite direction. She couldn't help the bad feeling she always got when she saw him around. While in middle school things just got better for her things went south for Ian. In elementary school no one cared about what you wore or how smart you were or any of that. When one gets to middle school however those things start to matter and Ian's smarts and her cheerleading just caused them to split ways. It saddened her when she thought about all the fun they had when they were little but that was the past and this was the present and in the present there was no future of friendship for the two of them.

The eruption of laughter in the halls caused Mikaela to stop to see what was going on. On the floor she saw Ian and while in her heart she wanted to go help her former friend out her mind told her it wasn't the right move. She watched as Nicole one of the other cheerleaders walked over to him "Careful where you step, honey," while the words came out sweetly the sarcasm behind it was obvious. As Ian got up off the floor he continued on his way and Nicole who noticed Mikaela by standing.

"I swear I love going to school full of nerds. They are so clumsy and geeky its hilar." Mikaela said nothing to her as she just turned and walked down to where her locker was located. Sensing a change in her mood Alison another one of her cheerleading friends asked "What's wrong Kale? Don't tell me your feeling sorry for the little dweb. I mean its not like someone pushed him into a locker or something he just fell on his face," rolling her eyes as she finished putting in her combination she opened her locker door. "Aww Kale. You do feel bad for the loser," Nicole said attempting to hold in what came out as a muffled chuckle came out "If you want you can go give the little freak hug. Tell him its all going to be okay or whatever."

Mikaela felt herself getting upset but she repressed it putting on a simple smile as she got out the books she needed and turned to the girls "We should get going I don't wanna be late for first period." Checking her reflection in the mirror that was placed on the inside of her locker door she messed around in her hair for a moment before giving herself a satisfied smile. Handing her things to Nicole to hold she closed and relocked her locker "Let's go ladies" she said as she started walking her friends following behind her.

Scott Morgan

Scott was lying fast asleep in his big bed. His dreams like so many before were spent searching for his mother. His alarm went off. He rose his head slightly and turned it off. He looked at the clock. It was 5.30. Time to get up he thought. Scott rose from his bed. He walked out on to the balcony from his room. The sun still barely peeking out. He stretched and smiled. Another wonderful day he thought. He turned and went back into his room. He grabbed some old sweats and an old football jersey. Time for his run he thought.

Scott loved going for his morning run. It was his chance to enjoy some peace and quiet. To be away from the circus that was his life. It was his chance to think. He knew he had a huge decision to make about college soon and he was really worrying about it. He knew his pro career would suffer with a bad decision. Despite all his worrying he knew the decision would only seem like he made it. His father would probably pressure him to go wherever he saw fit.

Scott got back to his house as soon as he walked in the door he was met by the housekeeper. Christie was a middle aged lady. She had been employed by the Morgans since Scott was a baby. Her face always lit up when she seen Scott. She was the closest person in the world to him. She loved him as a mother. And he loved her.

"How was the run sweetie" She asked. "Great, I'm going to grab a shower before school." He replied. "Okay i will have breakfast waiting for you when you come down, I'm going into town though so you will have to eat on your own." Scott ran upstairs. He jumped in the shower, had quick wash and got changed. Scott was wearing jeans and his Denver Broncos jersey. It was number 18 and had Manning on the back. Scott wasn't so much a Bronco fan as he was a Peyton Manning fan.

He came downstairs grabbed his breakfast quickly. And left the house. He headed for school. Another boring day until practice afterwards he thought. As soon as Scott got near the school he was receiving the usual Hi Buddy greetings from people he didn't know. He usually said Hi back. Once inside he headed straight for his locker.

Violette sat at one of the round tables in the library, she just sat there for a minute pondering about something that was really nothing special. After a while she decided to indulge in '13 Reasons Why' a book by which was recommended for her to read my her mothers family friends daughter named Isabella, or Izzy for short who was 13. So starting the book, even though she never doubted the power of thinking to anyone younger then her, she honestly did not expect that great of a plot line or a wide range of vocabulary. So even if the book was sub par it would still be considered good in her mind from the standards she had set.
The book started off a bit odd, with no clue of the situation that he is in the book begins. At first this guy seems like a tired jackass. Then it skips to what is titles Yesterday, which should mean that it should be written in past first person POV but it was written in present form. Violet continued reading though, minding the error, or at least what she thought of as an error. Then she thought that maybe it was like taking a time machine so the tense was right.

She got quiet far in the book. After a while she closed it though. 13 Reasons Why was about a girl, Hannah, who had killed herself and left tapes explaining why she in fact killed herself, and her blaming other people for why. Then this guy Clay gets it, this guy whom was madly in love with Hannah and he's like SHIT! What could I have done to like piss this girl off so she'd kill herself. So throughout this he's like hating on other people for being asses to Hannah and worrying about what he did. Violet hasn't come to the cassette tape abut Clay yep but she quit reading anyways.
Violet thought back to a fact she had heard or read some where that in the United States in 2012, 8 or so in 1000 people died. Weird right? Like you outlived 8 people. Then she tough that maybe 4 of those people killed themselves, even though she wasn't sure of the statistics. Then what? It's not like it couldn't happen that of those 1000 people 4 killed themselves it was just a loose thought.

After shaking the book thoughts Violet got out her homework for the science class. It was about Charles Darwin and Evolution, nothing all that interesting, it didn't even spark up that many tonights in her mind. Teachers had beat at the idea of evolution for years. She honestly had thought out all her ideas of evolution by the seventh grade.
Violet already had her homework done for the class but reviewing it seemed like a good thing to do, so that is just what she did, she reviewed. But it all seemed way to easy to be for juniors, so she just closed the book and took out her itinerary.

The thing about Violet is, she hates focusing on one thing for long periods of time, she just didn't. Her itinerary talked of every destination she wants to go too. Pages and pages where just filled. They also talked about the places she wanted to go this spring break on a college road trip, even though she was not quiet yet sure who, she was going to invitee, she hadn't gotten that far yet. She was writing in there about this place. It was a country but a small one and she wasn't sure where she specifically wanted to go. She was writing about Montenegro.

While writing a boy came and sat opposite of her at the library table.he introduced himself and Stephan and then some praise thing after. "Violette," mumbled Violet giving the boy a skeptical look. He was wearing this Buddhist outfit. Finally it clicked, he was the new kid that some cheerleaders where telling about about last week. But he also looke d,Ike someone else, like she had seen him before.

β€œIt is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else's life with perfection,” the boy, Stephan, read aloud. Then said something about how to live your destiny perfectly and if there is such thing as perfect.
Violet hummed, not the bee humm which was like bee but more like a himmmmm like a thinking person.

"Well I don't believe anyone could answer the question about how to love a perfect destiny, it has been something contemplated for years." Violet paused. "But I think I do believe in perfection, it's just that society has shrugged it off as non existent.

Jacob was in his own little universe when Indigo walked over. She said morning so Jacob replied with the exact same thing, "Morning." Then the girl decided to slip sandals on her feet, which Jacob knew was only because the dress code told them all that they must wear shoes. "One of these times your barefoot feet obsession is going to get you in trouble," Jacob said. That statement was anything but a lie.
Jacob and Indigo where friends, same clique and she was cool. Not really I'm with the popular crowd cool but more, I'm a legit person cool. Plus she surfed so that was a big up. Actually from the sounds of it she surfed more then he did.

That was was when Ian Butler who was known as the class nerd walked in. Jacob didn't mind him, they even talked from time to time.

Then the big thing went down. It was actually quiet typical to happen in the halls but still. Ian who was friends with Mikaela up until middle school when she decided that she was too cool for him or whatever. Well anyways Ian who was distracted just by Mikaela presence, managed to fall, ON. HIS. ASS. Now Jacobs first reaction was to laugh because seeing people fall was just in general funny, but he held it back feeling bad for poor Ian.
Then to top the shit cake of the situation the cheerleaders started teasing him and Mikaela just walked away.

So because witnessing this just made him feel embarrassed for Ian, Jacob turned back to his locker rummaging through it with really no purpose but to get out of the awkward situation from which he had just witnessed.
After sometime consisting of a few seconds Jacob turned to Indigo and said in a murmur, "Poor Ian, really some people at this school can be big assholes to him." Which was true it wasn't even the cheerleaders, it was also the jocks and the preps too. The worst part was he was friends with some of them when he was younger. Things change in about middle school or junior high.

Jacob sighed. Them he noticed Ian came over. Jacob quickly mumbled a "Hi," but didn't get to say anything else before Ian started talking about some new kid who dresses weird but looks just like him. For some odd reason Jacob found it hysterical that someone was his so called twin. "Really?" He asked. Jacob already knew he had to see this guy.

Kaycee was in the car, having showered and eaten and humongous breakfast, which her lame-o traditional father had insisted on.
She had on her favorite jean vest, with the collar she had custom-trimmed on her own. It held the patches on cheetah printed, and she smoothed down the raised collar as she drove. Underneath that she had on the most comfortable blue cashmere blouse, and she loved the way it nestled into her skin, the softness making her smile.
She stopped the car at a coffee shop, and went in to the delectable smells of caffeine, which of course, she hated to drink, but the smell was amazing.
She went to the register and bought herself a chocolate-chip muffin and a bottle of water. The two were never a popular combination, but she couldn't bear to swallow down a thick hot chocolate.

She got back into her car, and drove to school, her music blaring just enough that it couldn't be heard through the windows.

"Hey baby, will you look my way
I can be you new addiction!"

She sang all the way to school, and when she reached the parking lot, she turned down the volume and put on a mock serious face, giggling inside.

When she parked, she reached into the backseat for her bag, which she had to fumble for, and then exited the car.
She looked up to the massive building that had held her for more than two years.
"Always a pleasure to come back to this purgatory." she said as she smiled wistfully to herself.

When she got to the entrance, people glanced at her, probably only for her shocking red hair, which contrasted with the brunettes and blondes in the hallways.
She saw an obviously fake blonde looking at her and said, "It's all natural sweetie. You should take some tips."
The blonde walked away.
Ha.

She looked up to see some familiar faces.
Mikaela and her followers.
Jake and Indigo, extraordinary surfers.
She heard a crashing sound and saw Ian.
Oh jeez! Not again...

She rushed over to him, but he'd already stood himself up and was talking to Jake.
She went up anyway, and greeted all of them enthusiastically.
"Ian, are you....alright?", she asked, concern lining her voice.

Indigo's gaze quickly shifts from Jacob to Ian and the gaggle of girls, cheerleaders to be specific, who watch him fall and burst into a shower of giggles so sharp that it might as well be daggers. Her first reaction is to think of that sort of rain which seems to cut into your skin, and she can't help but be thankful that there isn't any wind to make the effects of it worse. This is temporary, though, as she notices what seems to be a sigh escaping from Mikaela Chandler's mouth, the lack of reaction or attempt to aid serving as that wind which she had previously thought absent. Didn't they use to be really close when we were kids? Indigo wonders to herself. She went to school with most of these people, but in elementary school had been more interested in surfing, skating, and her younger brother than in her fellow classmates. Still, the girl does remember things about others, and drifted friends tend to make her a little bit sad, despite the fact that it is perfectly normal and feeling down about it is just unnecessary nostalgia. Her first instinct, seeing the scene, is to go over to the young man, but she stops mid step at the sight of Ian getting off of the ground by himself and apparently muttering something under her breath.

"I do wish that they could find a less. . .cruel way of supporting their own self esteem, or relieving frustration," the young woman agrees with Jacob, pushing a bit of hair out of her eyes and seeing that Ian is actually on his way over to them, which makes sense because his locker is right here. As soon as he arrives, she opens her mouth to say something, but closes it again when he begins to speak immediately and with a sort of purpose, though the subject does not seem as urgent as his expression would make it out to be. Still, it is rather curious- a person who looks exactly like Jacob?

"Looks like you have a doppleganger, then? One of you'll have to absorb the weaker one," Indigo mentions in a voice that is slightly far off, as she recalls briefly some show that she had seen a long time ago, which had such a premise. More prevalent matters come back to mind, however, when she notices that Ian's glasses are broken, a small crack striking through one lens.

"Right, are you o-" Indigo begins, but Kaycee, a familiar and ever-cheerful face, bounces into the growing little cluster -growing but not large- and greets all of them with her usual enthusiasm. Indigo can't help but smile at the young woman's constant energy, which is always refreshing. Of course, she herself is not quite as energetic, being a far more mellow sort of person, but it is not unusual to admire in others what one lacks themselves. Besides, the girl always seems to have such passion, which Indigo has always liked in a person.

"Good morning," she greets Kaycee in response, before turning her attention back to Ian to wait for his response to the bubbly young woman's question. It occurs to her that he may not want to talk about having been tripped -he had been rather quick to bring up an alternative subject upon coming over- but she doesn't want to simply assume these things. For now, she seems distracted by the crack in his glasses more than anything, only looking away to survey Mikaela's group with raised eyebrows as they walk by.

"Well I don't believe anyone could answer the question about how to love a perfect destiny, it has been something contemplated for years," the girl, Violette paused before continuing, "But I think I do believe in perfection, it's just that society has shrugged it off as non existent."

Stephen nodded in agreement, pausing for a moment to think. He thought about his parents and their crowd, but also about his own generation and the many people he had come across. His father certainly believed in perfection, but he was sure that he was reaching out for the wrong kind. As much as he and his father were estranged, it hurt him to see the man that had raised him in the best manner he could fall so hard again and again.

"People have become disillusioned with seeking perfection because, often, people sought the wrong kind of perfection in the past. They had an imperfect vision for what perfection would be like and failed to reach that imperfect vision of perfection. Others, I think, give up too easily on perfection because they do not want to face the hardship and work it would take," he mused as he turned a page in his book.

"What is a clique? I was part of one in my old school, but I didn't consciously make the decision to join one, if you know what I mean."

"Ian, are you....alright?"

Ian sighed. He might have distracted both Indigo and Jacob for a moment with the news he gave them, but Kaycee had been here to see what happened and he could feelt Indigo looking at him expectantly. He shrugged as if it was no big deal and gave the others a small smile.

"I'm alright, thanks. I appreciate it, but I should have known better than to cross paths with a group of cheereleaders. Too many failed government experiments among them," he joked. He sighed slightly.

"I don't mind too much. After high school, it's all downhill for them. That bitch that tripped me will have to use even more chemicals to make herself look pretty, but she'd still look plastic compared to you two," he told Indigo and Kaycee with a grin.

He'd complimented her!
"Ah you are too cute, Ian!" She ruffled his hair, giving him her most generous smile.

Ian believed wholeheartedly in government conspiracies. She knew the government almost never told the truth to the public, or bended it, but could they really hold such power in everyone's lives? And even if the government tested... oh, he was just trying to make a joke.

Wait......
"Are you just complimenting us to transition between subjects?", she asked him, a bit hurt, but also a bit impressed if this was his intention.

She looked over at Indigo. Indigo was always so relaxed, which Kaycee could only accomplish laying down in her room, or at her yoga practices. Indigo didn't need these, instead focusing on surfing and the water, and Kaycee noticed her hair was wet, probably from a morning run. Kaycee also saw she had sandals on her feet, even though she knew she hated shoes.

But c'mon this floor is full of millions of microbes and bacteria! The dress code's doing her a favor.

She looked down to her own feet at her boots, noticing the clasp that had come undone. She reached down to fix it, but it was almost impossible at her angle. All her hair started to hang in front of her face a she contorted herself and had a very funny concentrated look on her face.

Ah, the expense of having fantabulous footwear.

The heel wasn't cooperating, and she felt off-balanced, Still, she reached for the clasp, now going into a resemblance of a Dancer yoga position, which she noticed with dry humour.
Reach, reach!
And then she was down on the floor with a splat, which brought chuckles and giggles from the crowds in the hallway.

She blew hair out of her face, and looked up with a sheepish, radiant smile to her friends around her.

"The floor seems to hold an attraction to all of us today, doesn't it?", and then she laughed along with the people in the hallway.

"Ah you are too cute, Ian!" She ruffled his hair, giving him her most generous smile. Ian couldn't help but blush slightly, but inwardly, he wondered what she meant by cute. Did she mean that his manner was attractive because he was sweet, or did she mean that he was cute in the way a little kid or a little brother would be cute. If the latter was so, then he was going to be even more depressed today.

"Are you just complimenting us to transition between subjects?" Kaycee asked him. She sounded hurt when she said so and he instantly felt bad. He hurriedly spoke.

"No! Not at all! At least, well, yes, that was part of it, but I think you're both really pretty, honestly. You're," he began. Then he watched her reach down for her heel and he felt himself get distracted with the angle she was in before she fell down. He mentally kicked himself and offered her his hand.

"I don't think they're used to you laughing with them," he noted from the way some people shifted uncomfortably and stared at her strangely.

She looked at the people who had laughed at her embarrassing moment who were now shifting uncomfortably and looking at her oddly.

"Why do they get to have all the fun? I don't have to suffer." She replied nonchalantly, finally closing the stupid clasp.

She reached for his hand and pulled herself up, proceeding to wrap her arm around his shoulder dramatically.

"Look at them, Ian", she said as she squished their cheeks together, getting entirely too comfortable with him, but she didn't think anything of it. She was used to Ian, no matter how awkward he was, and she didn't care about invading her friends' personal space. It was actually a very unnerving quality about her, sometimes making her friends feel squeamish.

"They take pleasure from pain, or if they don't, they are conforming to the mindset of taking pleasure from pain."

She looked him straight in the eye. "I was going to say something really deep, but I forgot it." Then, she laughed again and unwrapped herself from him.

She got her bag up from the ground.
"Do you like it?", she motioned to the bag. "I made it myself. These", and she pointed to the waterproof covering over the underlying layer of sequins and fluffy fabric, "were particularly hard to appliquΓ©, especially to make it form this particular pattern while still maintaining the function of water not seeping through....."
She was animated when she spoke. This was what she was most passionate about, her very core.
Fashion design.
Many a night she had stayed up until 4AM to sew, sketch, create new pieces in her diverse collection, which she wore herself, or sold online.
She loved hunching over the machine to the point where she could be diagnosed with scoliosis at a single glance, getting her fingers cut, her ideas melting into the final product.
She then realized it wouldn't really be appreciated here.
"Ah, nevermind I don't think it'd appeal to any of you.....", she said, a bit deflated, smiling a bit sadly.

I really don't think anyone here can appreciate such an art.....
She looked around the halls to the shiny new store-bought clothes, the outfits copied directly from the mannequins at the department store, and the lack of unique print, style, or color.
"Drones.....", she lamented softly.

Paige grumbled, tossing and turning most of the night with her hair sprawled out messily around her head. Un-expectantly there was a bright light that just randomly lit up in her room and Paige groaned loudly. She smashed her hand down against her bed then searched the night stand next to her bed in hopes that there was a magical light switch that would turn off the light that was forcing her awake this early in the morning. Little did she know that she was actually half an hour behind her usual schedule in the morning which means that she was up half an hour later than usual. "Paige!" She could hear her mom's voice clearly as she yelled at her to get up. "You also need to clean up your stupid dog's mess that he left on my bed! Andrew was furious with him since that was his side of the bed that stupid dog decided to do his business on!" With that she heard her door slammed open. "Get up Paige! You need to remember that you have a lot to do today and I'm not dealing with you staying home. Plus you’re getting up late again today!" She exclaimed then was already making her way down the stairs and was going to the kitchen to make her daughter food.

Paige was smiling against her pillow while her mother yelled about Louie, but as soon as she announced that she was already behind she shot up from her bed. She looked at Louie who was staring back at her, "Good boy." She whispered before crawling over to him and scratching his head. "Let's clean up your mess before I get ready." She mumbled before scooping her dog up into her arms and carrying her to her mom’s room. She snorted, seeing the mess that her dog left on her mom's bed. "Oops," She mumbled with a grin as she shoved her dog's nose in it. "Bad dog!" She exclaimed loud enough for her mom to hear her. Afterwards she put her dog down then held out her hand, "Give me paw." She whispered with a soft giggle. Her dog Louie put his paw on her hand before it slid off onto the ground. "Okay come on," slowly she straightened up and walked out of the room.

Louie followed close behind her to her bedroom where she went to her hug walk in closet and started searching through her mass amount of clothes for something that she could wear today for school. Once she finally found an outfit that she find suitable she stroked her dog then stripped down and threw herself into the shower. After her shower she changed into the outfit that she had picked out earlier, and then she started to apply her make-up. When she finished applying her make-up she glanced from Louie then back at the mirror and made her eyes real wide with she puckered her lips. A soft laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head and stopped right then. She looked over at Louie and he barked at her.

It wasn't until she finally looked over at her alarm clock when she realized how late it was. "Oh crap!" She gasped as she darted from her room and skidded down the steps that lead not only to several other rooms on the first and second floor of her home but also lead straight for the front door. Andrew, her mom's boyfriend, was about to walk out the door when Paige came barreling through him and went straight for the car. "Excuse you Paige!" He snapped at her and she rolled her eyes as she slipped in the car. "Maybe if you moved faster Andrew you wouldn't have worry about my barreling through you." She yelled at him, through the window. "Well sorry! Plus you can't talk that way to me Paige. Treat me with as much respect as you give your mother!" He demanded and all she could do was to quickly start up her brand new Honda Insight EX before squealing out of the driveway.

On her way to school she mumbled something angrily under her breath about her mom and her new boyfriend. Of course now she was going to be late to class and that wasn't going to look too good that she was late to class since she usually is rarely late to class. While driving to school which wasn't far from her large house she wondered what Mikaela was doing right now since she wasn't there with her best friend. Sighing softly then she started to nibble on the bottom of her lip as she pulled into the student parking area. This is where she quickly parked her car, checked her make-up and then slid out of her car. Once she made sure she had everything and the car was parked she started towards the school, flipping her blonde braid over her shoulder.

Soon enough she was at the school, the bell hadn't quite rang yet so that was good but she still couldn't waste any time getting to class. Rushing to her locker she stopped in front of it, throwing the necessary things for class into her bag, and quickly slamming it shut. She smiled beautifully, waving at a few people who smiled at her and then rolled their eyes. She sighed softly, pushing her bag onto her shoulder as she started towards her class. Clumsily she stumbled over her own foot, an accidental curse word or two came from her lips as she tripped and fell forward. She heard a few people laugh as her books -that she had decided just to carry to class- fell all over the floor. With one move of her hand and as she stood up straight again she looked over at those who laughed, giving them an evil glare and instantly they hushed before walking off. "Isn't this just a great start to the day?" She grumbled angrily under her breath as she leaned down and started to collect her things that had fallen on the floor.

Finally once all of her books were together she straightened up, looking around and pushing a rebellious strand of her blonde hair out of her face. All she could do was smile as she collected herself and made her way towards her first period. Just because she fell in front of people and well embarrassed herself she wasn't going to let anyone think anything was wrong. Next time she wouldn't walk to fast because she didn't want to end up tripping over her own foot again. All she really wanted was to sneak off and cry for reasons that she wouldn't explain to anyone but Mikaela. Inhaling deeply and leaned against the wall next to the hallway that lead to her first period. Honestly she did not want to be here right now. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she just stood there, thinking about what just happened, and if she was actually ready for today.

Indigo glances back towards the retreating backs of the cheerleaders when Ian assures Kaycee, and indirectly her, that he is fine, before making some snide remark about them. She frowns very slightly, but it is gone as she pulls back that accustomed mellow of smile of hers, the sort that just seems to radiate relaxation and generally helps to give others this feeling that everything is going to be okay. It's probably because the smile gives the idea that she is fully confident that everything is perfectly fine, so confident that it must be true. She looks back towards him, raising one defined eyebrow at his commenting on them being failed government experiments, and then his follow up statement on them being destined for a bad future. Even though he slides in a sweet enough compliment to Indigo and Kaycee with this statement, she feels rather ill at ease with his words. She may have her own biases, everyone does, but she tries her best to remain relatively friendly with as many people as possible. It isn't always completely possible, especially when those people make a point of distancing themselves from people like her, but she finds that it makes life a lot more fulfilling.

"Thanks, Ian, but that's kind of a generalization, isn't it?" she says in a calm voice, closing her locker and leaning lazily against it. This isn't going to be a popular opinion with the group she is among, she knows, because ruling classes don't have exclusive ownership rights to prejudice. As if to soften her comment, Indigo smiles again and shrugs, running her hands through her hair, which is still wet from her morning shower. The attention from her statement is taken, anyway, by Kaycee, when the girl proceeds to lean down to fix her shoe before slipping in a way that almost looks like a cartoon character, landing directly on her backside and prompting an undercurrent of laughter and whispers from the surrounding students. Indigo glances over at them with a gaze so serious that it actually hushes a few, if only because people aren't always very accustomed to seeing that particular young woman with a foul expression on her face.

When Kaycee brings attention to her bag, Indigo can't help but smile at her, because, as mentioned before, she loves to watch people talk with passion. Kaycee has such an animated way about her that just watching her speak makes Indigo feel both refreshed and a little bit energized herself. Unlike Kaycee, she lacks any talent for clothing, and most of her clothing comes from thrift stores and sales racks anyway. It isn't that her parents don't give her money for working for her to get clothing with, but that she'd rather save as much as possible to by that new board she's been looking at, or some replacement wheels, or pay for the next Yoga session. Clothing just isn't a major priority to her, and it never has been, to be honest.

"It's very pre-" Indigo begins, but then she catches Kaycee muttering the word Drones, something clearly aimed towards most of the student body. This pulls a sigh out of the mellow young woman, who runs her hands through her hair again and studies her feet, and by extension the sandals they are wrapped in, before deciding to speak.

"People are all paper from a distance, Kaycee," she reminds her in a soft voice, before smiling again and rolling her neck, which is feeling rather stiff at the moment. "You're making people into who you expect them to be," she adds in an almost scolding tone, before shrugging and, far more passively, tagging "Well, Maybe, anyway," onto her statement.

Not that she can talk, having a certain prejudice towards the preps.

Only making it a couple of feet from her locker before Aaron along with his group of jocks pulled over the cheerleaders. In most occasions when people tried to wave her over at most she would give them a small wave and keep it moving but for her football jocks she didn't mind being late. She played along with Aaron's flirting she wasn't really interested in the guy but she had to admit she liked the attention besides having someone hit on you was always flattering.

"What is that bitch looking it ?!" Mikaela looked from Aaron to Nicole "Omfg! Nikki it is way to earlier for this shit. What's wrong ?" Mikaela said as Aaron started playing in her hair. "That girl with the bushy ass eyebrows is over there grilling us mad hard. Like damn I know were beautiful but that staring stuff is really creepy." Mikaela laughed when Nicole mentioned the girl's eyebrows as she glanced over at the girl that was looking in their direction with a raised brow. They were cheerleaders which meant there was always someone looking at them for one reason or the next.

"Do you even know who she is? Her name? Her clique? Anything?," the girls all looked around at each other than at the guys before looking back at Mikaela with shaking heads and shrugging shoulders. "Then that makes the bitch irrelevant and unless you have the energy to waste there is no reason to stress unimportant people," the girls nodded and Mikaela could still see Nicole eying the girl which made her chuckle.

Just then another body managed to hit the floor this time not Ian but a red headed girl Mikaela wasn't able to put a name to just by looking at her. The collective group of jocks and cheerleaders all laughed along with the rest of the crowd "What is up with everyone today. Did any of these losers learn how to walk right ?!" Nicole said loud enough to be heard over the hall of laughter by her clique. When the girl began to laugh along with the rest of them the amusement in it all fell and Mikaela sensing that things were over decided now would be a good time to get to class. "Well looks like the fun is over here. Come on girls let's get to class," hugging the jocks one by one she made her way pass them and started down the hallway.

When they arrived to class the room was still empty seeing as the bell hadn't rang yet. There was still no sign of Paige but Mikaela wasn't worry about it because unlike her Paige was almost never left for class. Sending her cheerleaders off to save their seats Mikaela went to the bathroom. She didn't really have to go but it wasted time and she got to run into she knew. On her way back to room she uploaded a photo she taken of herself to instragram. As she got closer to the room she noticed a familiar blonde just outside the room "Paige!" Mikaela screamed as she ran over to her bestie wrapping her up in a hug of love. "It took you long enough to get here!" she said as she peeled back her arms to let her friend out of her grip. "You know I don't stay awake during class if your not there to annoyingly keep me awake."

"Thanks, Ian, but that's kind of a generalization, isn't it?" Indigo stated and Ian flushed with shame. He knew he was stereotyping, which was one of the things about high school that he hated, but he wasn't able to help it. He sighed and looked at her guiltily as he responded.

"I didn't exactly mean it that way... Okay, maybe i was generalizing, but I meant to do it as a compliment to you and Kaycee. There are a few cheerleaders that are genuinely nice and good-hearted, but most of the ones in this school are not. Paige and Mikaela are good people from what I've experienced, but they are slaves to the clique if you know what I mean," Ian stated, past memories making his statement more bitter than he was intending it to be.

Kaycee went on about her handbag and Ian could tell it was well-made once he pushed away the very male instinct to dismiss it as a simple bag for caring money and other girly things. He supposed he appreciated different forms of beauty or maybe he was more practical than anything. Still, he listened politely and tried to understand what Kaycee was saying.

"Ah, nevermind I don't think it'd appeal to any of you....." Kaycee finished.

"Your handbag looks better than most I've seen, but I'm not the best judge. Still, it looks good on your shoulder and marketable," Ian told her honestly, feeling a little guilty that he didn't know more about these things.

Kaycee made a comment and Indigo lectured her now, causing him to grin. He appreciated both girls' personalities and Indigo was way more fair and easygoing than anyone he had ever met. He hoped she considered him a friend. He hoped they both did. He turned to Jacob.

"That Stephen kid... He looks like he's trying to reach Nirvana if you get what I mean. He'll probably join the Free-Spirit clique unless he finds a way not to... I suppose the school will group him there with or without his consent, though," he stated with a shrug. That was the way things worked. It was most prominent in high school, but people were still grouped outside of it by interests, nationality, race, income-level, religion, and everything else imaginable.

Indigo spoke up.
"People are all paper from a distance, Kaycee," she said in a soft voice, smiling. Then, she cracked her neck, and Kaycee winced."You're making people into who you expect them to be," she scolded, before adding nonchalantly,"Well, Maybe, anyway,".

"What if what I expect them to be is what they truly are? I mean, I no I'm no higher power or whatever, but I know most of these people fit their stereotypes pretty well, save for a few. " Kaycee responded.

Ian commented on her bag."Your handbag looks better than most I've seen, but I'm not the best judge. Still, it looks good on your shoulder and marketable," Ian told her. She was elated someone liked it. She knew Ian was a nerd, and a boy nerd at that, so he didn't really have experience with fashion. So it meant a lot that an ignorant was complimenting it.

He started talking to Jacob, something about a new "free-spirit" in the school.
"Not to eavesdrop, even though I'm right here, but there's a new kid!?What? Is he hot?! Is he single?", she asked.
She walked over to her locker, where she was still at a hearing distance, and opened it.
A shiny mirror, one of those detachacle shelves, and loads of Sticky-Notes.
Also, a collage of Niall from One Direction. She blew him a kiss.
She grabbed her books, her bag, and a new batch of Sticky-Notes and then closed it.

Just then, the bell rang , signaling everyone they had four minutes to get to their classes.
She took her muffin out of her bag and took three huge bites.
Swallowing, she looked back at the gang.
"Nevermind, tell me at lunch. I'll be looking for you guys. Later, amigos!" She waved.
And she strode over to class, chewing on her delicious muffin.
A new boy? And I was not aware?! This is the best thing since burned toast!
Was that the expression?

She had finished half of her muffin as she got to the door of the room, and slipped in.
Kaycee neatly arranged her things on the desk.
The notebook was in the center, along with other books for the class.
Her Sticky-Notes, to the right of it.
She evasively took the tape recorder in her bag, and shoved it closer to the open zipper. No one would be able to see it at this angle.
She sat down, waiting for class to begin, and she chewed on a chocolate chip.

"Ah, well, then, I'm sorry for sounding naggy," Indigo apologizes to Ian when he admits to knowing that not everyone is going to be exactly the same simply because they are in the same clique. After all, Indigo and Kaycee are both in the same clique, but they are completely different people all the same. A social group does not define who a person is, nor should it be the only criteria that people use when forming judgments about people. When Kaycee mentions knowing for a fact that several of the people she stereotypes are exactly who she views them to be, Indigo winces slightly and then bites her lip, keeping back words. This conversation clearly isn't going to make them budge, and so she decides that it would be best to move on for now, and prevent there from being any tension. Still, she can't help but think about what Kaycee has said, and combine it with various secrets that she knows, but that don't belong to her. Like how Angela, viewed as one of the bitchiest of the cheerleaders, is verbally abused by her parents, and frequently forced out of the house at night. She knows this because Angela is her neighbor, but doesn't give this example because it is not her secret to tell- not even one that she has any right to know, honestly.

She watches Kaycee light up with Ian's comment, and can't help but move on and smile at the girl's elation. As far as smiles go, Indigo has always had a bit of a weak immune system, hardly able to stop from cracking one when she sees others so genuinely happy about something. Of course, her interest soon jumps to the apparent new kid, this interest mostly involving his current relationship status and his appearance. Indigo laughs softly at her excitement, pulling her Calculus AB textbook out of her locker just as the bell rings. "See you then," she tells Kaycee with a smile, even though the bubbly young woman hadn't really been addressing her about it.

Let's see. This year is Calculus AB, then AP Art, and then...right! AP Lit and Comp, just before lunch, Indigo muses over the first half of her schedule, before looking over towards Ian once more. "What class are you heading to? If we're going in the same direction, we can walk together," she suggests, shifting her textbook and sketchbook into her other arm, revealing slight red marks on the arm that had been carrying them a moment ago. "Hopefully we'll have a class together this year- I think we only had one together last year, right? It was just a core, though, so that's to be expected, I suppose."
