"What? No, Jen, that's not what I was trying to imply!" Zachary left his still burning cigarette in the ashtray on the kitchen counter, then turned back to face Jenson. "Don't leave. I'm just...not a romantic guy..." He looked off to the side, trying to keep himself from turning red. Really, for all he knew, he was expected to follow Jenson's lead. Or was he supposed to kick her out of the house, like she thought he would do? Zach was beginning to get a headache from thinking of all the possibilities.

Walking over to the fridge and opening it wide, Zach snatched two beers from the cooling unit. It had been a while since he had last endulged in the god-given escape of alcohol, but this seemed like a good time to do it again. Turning to Jenson and smiling kindly, Zachary said, "Alright, I would be more than happy to give you a beer, but I need to see some ID first! Nah, just kidding, take it, but seriously how old are you? You didn't answer me before." He held out the beverage to his guest.
