A sly smile erupted on the boys face when he heard the creature's words. While he wasn't one hundred percent about this creature yet he had to admit he was highly curious about what the thing was saying. Had the King been a rowdy young man? That could always play into his hands, encouraging the older man to remember his younger days. What man didn't like another to remind him of his boisterous youth? While most men preferred young ladies...well...Amaury would just have to do for the king.
"Your highness," He peeked up at the older man with wide eyes. "Were you...naughty as a young man? It sounds like you got in a great deal of trouble."
Innocently he reached out, linking his arm with the elder male. It was beyond every royal rule in the book of every land what he dared to do so boldly. Not just touching the king but linking arms like they were old friends...it was positively scandalous. And Amaury practically basked in the looks he knew he was getting.
"Perhaps you could tell me all about it?" The assassins eyes took on a hopeful look.
