Introduction
In the realm of Dusseteu, there are six nations; The earth, water, wind, fire, light and Dark nations. Each of them are ruled by A king and a queen who closely monitor the nations, attempting to create peace. Peace among the nations isn't always so common. The nations are always fighting with each other, killing and starting wars, but there is hope yet. Every 20 years the families plan a royal gathering to match and make marriages between the most opposing nations as a peace treaty. These marriages are not chosen by the future brides and grooms, but they are the only implements that can bring peace to this war torn world...
((Basic Premise from Miss_SMG at Menewsha))
βββββββββ β H I S T O R Y
Nobody currently remembers how or when they arrived at the planet, but they believed it resembled the silhouette of Earth, a planet from lost fables, so it was named Dusseteu, it meant earth in their native language.
Unfortunately, the people grew greedy, and they began to forget who they were. Many different people wanted to decide how things should be done. They realized it could not be possible unless someone leads, and of course, they all wanted to rule. Soon, things turned violent β hate spread to arguments, and arguments spread to fighting, and finally war. Different people took different sides and separated into six groups. Over the years they determined their placements on the planet, but for some reason they still kept the bitterness and hate.
The war continued on for hundreds of years. It had gotten so bad that they forgot their native language and the history behind their arrival. They even forgot why they were even fighting in the first place.
Some current rulers do believe it would be best for peace, but it would be too risky. The nations are gritting their teeth towards each other, and their only peace negotiations are marriages...but these can only last for so long.
βββββββββ β N A T I O N S _ A N D _ P E O P L E :
β β β β β β β β β β Earth, the βmedievalβ nation.
Just like the original race of humanity, the βEarthlingsβ dwell on land and take part on usual βhumanβ activities. Earthlings usually do not take part in any sort of technology or anything of supernatural or magical sort, and if they choose to, it is usually done in secrecy. This nations' benefits is the agriculture and laid back civilization. Most Earthlings have never encountered technology of any sort, so if they happen to, it would only be by travel to another nation.
There is a big distinction between upperclass and lowerclass in the Earth Nation. The upperclassmen are usually given much more benefits and job opportunities than the lower class, who usually farm or work as merchants.
The Earthlings to not own all of the land, though. They share the realm, half and half, with the Light nation, a slightly more advanced society then themselves.
β β β β β β β β β β Fire, the βTechnologically advancedβ nation.
With nowhere else to claim, the people of the Fire Nation headed for the stars and set forth to build their nation in the atmosphere. While their time in space flourished, so did their technology.
Fireans created androids to help them with work and repair, artificial soil and nutrients for agriculture, artificial weather and heating, and excellent computer engineering to keep their city steady in space.
It's very rare if one in the Fire nation practices magic or any field of this sort β usually those in the fire nation perform in the ways of science, engineering, or computers.
β β β β β β β β β β Wind, the nation who are the βMasters of flightβ.
Located above the ground, in what is called, βThe upper worldβ, dwells the Wind nation. Their lands have been specifically engineered above grounds in millions of sections of artificial earth and soil. Because of this, they're not called the βMasters of flightβ for nothing β its hard for anyone to get around without flying. There are no limits to the methods of there flight; they range from vehicles to genetic βwingβ placements.
Wizards and magicians are also very common in the Wind nation, and magic is very often practiced here.
β β β β β β β β β β Water, the nation who βRests on waterβ .
Anywhere in the water nation, there is practically always water. The civilization is built on stilts that were pried into the underground soil, and citizens usually traveled around by boat. Nowadays, they usually travel by submarine or steel bridges connecting one place to the next.
The people of these waters are stereotypically calm, serene, and down to earth. Watereans most prominent roles include those with creative ability, like storytelling, art or music, mostly due to the limit of area to travel. A more lowerclass job, though, are fishermen/fisher-women who make a living off catching fish or water vegetation.
β β β β β β β β β β Light, the nation of βThe combined Eraβ.
Unlike the rest of Dusseteu's nation counterparts, the Light nation is rather different; everyone calls it a βCombined Eraβ. The light nation advances into light, combining it's nations' together to create a interesting city. The Light nation resides on the other hemisphere of the earth where the Earthlings do not reside.
The people of this nation take part in more βModernβ ways β they have television, stoves, cell phones, colleges, and more βequal rightsβ for people, despite the monarchy. Some citizens even practice magic. However, their nation is not as technologically advanced as the Fire Nation, but they make do the way they are.
β β β β β β β β β β Dark, the βUnderground civilizationβ.
The people of the Dark Nation did not care for land, skys, water, or space β they were perfectly fine thriving it all...underground. These people dug through the depths of the under-earth to create a magnificent city that flourishes deep below the ground.
Life in the Dark Nation has always been somewhat cruel, many struggle to always have enough food and water due to their location. Other nations sometimes stereotype them as a "Gothic" type civilization. However, with recent advancements on their way, there could be some improvement for the society and their conditions.
People in the Dark nation usually practice magic, more specifically dark magic, types of construction, or sometimes science.
βββββββββ β T H E _ G A T H E R I N G
Located equally placed between all of the nations is a small island under the surface of water called βThe Dusseteu Gardensβ. When about 9 years has passed the time, the ocean lowers and the island becomes visible. For the rest of the remaining years, plant life grows and resurfaces the island. When the acquitted 20 years has come, it is time for the Royal Ball Gathering, a gathering where all of the princes and princes meet together and discover their marriage pairs.
Due to the fact the Dusseteu Gardens do not have any security enhancements, it's usually possible for someone who isn't a royal to waltz into the royal ball. In some cases, royals will bring a servant or chaperone to them at the gathering.

Princes and princesses are paired up with their nations most violent opposing enemy. Sometimes the marriage exchanges change from nation to nation every 20 years, but it is rare.

Ciara began humming the tune "matchmaker matchmaker give me a match" as she slipped away from her sister and the man. After grabbing a glass of wine she made her way to a door that led to a courtyard. Trees and bushes with magnificent lights framed the exterior and an intricate fountain stood in the center. The twinkling of the lights entranced the princess and the buzz she had going made her giggle. This was the perfect thing to cure her boredom and misery. She sat on the edge of the fountain and ran her fingers through the water.
"Peace at last."

A certain chill crept within her as the man before her took the hand she had offered. she was not certain if it was a sign of danger or something else. Drowned in this mystery of her feelings, she failed to notice the spark of sexuality in his voice as she was now dragged into the crowd of people dancing. Normally, she feels very uncomfortable surrounded by strangers she had no idea of. However, she felt quite secure as he pulled her into his arms. She had never been held like this by any male except her father and brother. The fire princess was bewildered at this but decided to hide it with a mask of pleasantries.
Upon their present situation, Seraphina had took a whiff of alcohol from her dance partner. She gazed at him and gave a small smile at his reply of never disappointing. She wondered where she got the urge to say her previous statement. Thinking about it, she wondered if the prince assigned to be her husband would be similar to him or not.
"Let us put that to a test."

Zenith's hands were quicksilver in hers, all fantastic intrigue, pseudo-mystery and veiled danger, truly impossible to hold onto. His offered hand didn't shake, hardly wavered as he awaited her response. From the corners of his flinty eyes, he spotted her bemused sister grinning like a cat basking in sunlight and offered her a slight smile, as well. However, his ebony eyes locked back with Zooey's baby blues, and he counted the differing colours casting constellations, undecipherable but honest. The way he managed to carry himself hid any ill intentions, if any at all, he could have passed off as one of the bartenders' who'd taken a brief brake. Royalty was in his blood, but he was far more acquainted with commonersβit served as a mask, as well as monumental experienceβand he believed that Zooey saw him as such. And even if she did, who was he to correct her?
His fingers curled lightly as he stood anchored in place, a small smile playing on his features. Whether or not she accepted an innocent dance was entirely up to her, he was planning on keeping his mind off troubling matters one way or the other. Zenith watched a small pinch of hesitation cross her visage, mostly in her eyes, and he was about to excuse himself for asking so boldly. Manners and etiquette were mostly lost on the young man, it had always been his downfall; more or less an embarrassment for his family. Royalty ought to act as royalty, they said. Only his mother seemed to comment on such things. No harm would come from such a simple gesture; a dance was a dance, nothing more. So, when she set her empty champagne glass down, his smile widened and his pearly whites peeked through.
Zenith bowed his head to Ciara, and chuckled lightly. βThank you for letting me borrow her,β He whispered, his voice lilting with an unrecognisable accent. As soon as Zooey's delicate hand slipped into his own, he curled his fingers lightly and brought the top of her hand to his lips in a quick kiss, straightening his posture immediately after. Tonight, he decided, would prove to be interesting. His free hand rested on the right side of her hip as he led her out into the middle of the dance floor. From his peripherals, he noticed that his brother had the same ideasβthough a few shades shoddierβ, so he twirled her away from them. His steps were seemingly precise, practised. Two strangers colliding, it seemed.
Alayha - Water Nation Gypsy
Egoists and pigs had rallied up this selfish ball, that much she understood. How they could squander their coin and pleasantries to each other, ignoring the realities of the world with silly traditions. And Alayha understood wearied traditions all too well. Gypsies were prone to walk the same beaten paths they'd paved for decadesβeverything was familiar, everything was the sameβand these men, high on their thrones, put their offspring through the same tortured rituals that they had to suffer, for what? She could never understand that. No sisters or brothers of hers suffered their traditions; it provoked laughter, not turmoil and grief. She shook her head. Sleek, snowy white hair framed her dabbled visage; to please her new masters (or entertainees, as she'd like to call them), she pulled her outlandish hair from spilling down her back into a styled bun that appeared more like the Wind Nation and less like the outskirts of the Waters. She was an outside party looking into a flowered window, daintily decorated to sell off their children. What she saw, she didn't particularly like or agree with.
As graceful as a firefly skirting the waters, Alayha gathered her Water Nation dress and nearly floated across the waxed floors. By all accords, gypsies hardly wore footwear unless they were forced. Strapped sandals would appease royalty, she balefully hoped. There was no love to be found in the confines of the building; only the shattering sound of children fighting against their captorsβtheir parents, their societies, their prudish traditions. She had seen firsthand what love was like, had witnessed it countless times in her beautiful city. Listening to two people falling in love, a thin wall like paper wings between their one heart, fluttering and ebbing and pulling together. Much like butterflies. Did any of them know that? Alayha pursed her lips, surveying the dance floor as she dwindled on the sidelines. Something in her urged her to join them, share her own water swan dance. Her better senses dismissed such ideas; she was here for one thing only, accompanying the Wind Nation back to their homes so that she could serve them as an entertainer. That was all.

The young man sighed. It had been so long since he'd attended such a formal occasion, and he was glad that he was able to wear his normal clothing underneath the ceremonial armor he'd been told to wear for the ceremonies. He stepped back from the royals, once more leaning against the cool marble of one of the pillars supporting the great ceiling high above. Scanning the crowd for threats, he noticed the gypsy girl wading through the crowds like a breeze through a field.
"Hmmm. Another commoner passing through crowds of royals like myself? Interesting," said he, marveling at how she moved so easily. She was a dancer, for certain, but would she show off her talents for the crowd, or would she simply walk around and enjoy the variety of foods?

On top of that, I'm going to tentatively say that Omega_Pancake will be out too. She's been swamped with work too, and on top of that there was just a death in her family. She might be on later, but I'm not sure.
:/ Sorry, guys.
