One of the random guards (a vampire) had noticed Jamie’s entrance and had little self-control. He was inching his way slowly toward the human. But he was stealthy making his way through, though he had caught the eye of one Desmond Ruler. Still Desmond was too busy dealing with Shad, “Weakness? Think what you will me friend but the offer is on the table. It would be a shame if you denied it and won only to lose the power it possesses… Maybe I should make that more clear, anyone who renounces the challenge may still win, of course, but if they do the sword will not let them claim it…” he paused, “Sword’s rules not mine, by the way.” Star had advanced however and Desmond rolled his eyes, how could Shad really have these two, Kiera and Star defending him after the crap he puts so many through.

Oh well, they could get in his face all they wanted, but at the end of the day they could just run to the end of their various chains and bark (thank you Walter). The only one in the room Desmond truly concerned of was Arabella, the one person who would compete he wasn’t sure he could fight at all. Jamie had reinforced that thought, he saw in their eyes the same thing that he saw in Kalen’s. He didn’t think he could deny them the chance to be together. Sure he wanted to live here with Kalen, but they’d always have Hydra if something went wrong, Jamie and Ara had but this one life and Chairmen or no he refused to take that from his friends.

A glanced slightly at Star with a smirk, her alluring eyes, he remembered that trick. He didn’t have a way to counter it but he knew it was a moot point. It was barely a few seconds into her stare that Star’s tail got a stiff tug. Kalen was standing behind her holding her tail hard.

Desmond leaned in to whisper in her ear this time, “Sorry, my dear, but you see… I’m taken.” He said as he held up the ring on her other hand, Kalen had yet to have let the seals tattooed on her body so her strength was only slightly more than that of your average kitsune, but that could change very swiftly. Desmond made to drop his hand but shot it out suddenly to the left, as an orb of blue energy gathered before his pointer and he raised his thumb in a makeshift pistol. His thumb fell and a small beam fired like a gunshot emitting a screech as it fired right next to Jamie’s neck, and slammed into the face of the vampire guard. The guard was forced back a ways but stumbled to his feet and looked up his face half melted but contorted with anger.

Desmond fired again, and this time the guard didn’t get up, “Oops, guess I’m a human lover too…” he said softly but a camera near him still picked it up. Straightening his suit he nodded to Jamie, “Hey there Jamie, how ya been?” he said in greeting leaving the conversation from before behind.
(I’m trying to show the basic attacks I’ll probably be using since the Hirule is my race you guys don’t know too much so I’m setting the basics.)
